This Voice of Russia show features Yelena Ananyeva, the head of the department of British Studies at the Institute of Europe (Russian Academy of Sciences), Asghar Bukhari, founding member of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee, UK, and me, and is a textbook example of how the mainstream media bias and unwillingness to let the truth be heard about jihad violence and Islamic supremacism.
Bukhari was given immense space to make the same point over and over again: that Muslim violence was all the fault of non-Muslims, particularly Israelis, who were murdering Muslims wholesale until the oppressed people finally reacted with violence. When I spoke, I was given much less time and repeatedly interrupted — but I still got a few points in, and was amused to see Bukhari tweeting incessantly about this show today, to everyone from Keith Ellison to George Galloway, crowing about how he “demolished” me. Listen to the show: Bukhari, like all too many Islamic supremacists, thinks he has “demolished” his opponents not when he actually refutes what they say, but when he calls them names, says they’re tools of the Zionists, and talks over them. This is the Islamic supremacist idea of “debate.”
You can listen here. And here is MPACUK’s YouTube posting of the exchange, in which some of the commenters contradict Bukhari’s chest-thumping.
Even the Voice of Russia producer was embarrassed by the naked bias of his presenter on this show, and offered me space alone on a show today, which I taped earlier. That one was fun as well, as I confronted the host’s desperate attempts to claim that Judaism and Christianity were just as capable of inciting to violence as Islam. Here is that show.
