The clashes took place in the region of Sheikh Zawid, where earlier reports had said militant groups were terrorizing the civilian population and using women and children as human shields. Sources also said that several weapon caches were destroyed or seized.
Six of the eight slain were members of the jihadi organization Ansar Bayt al-Muqadis, an organization founded in 2011 and primarily focused, as evinced by its name — “Supporters of Jerusalem” — on attacking Israel from northern Sinai.
However, now that the Muslim Brotherhood and former president Morsi have been ousted in Egypt, the group has set its eyes on the military rulers of the nation, accusing them of apostasy from Islam. Among other things, the group claimed responsibility for the devastating car bomb that killed four people in Cairo last week.
Nabil Na’im, a former member of Egyptian Islamic Jihad (which was formerly headed by al-Qaeda leader Ayman Zawahiri) has been exposing the relationship between the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic jihadis, including al-Qaeda, and says that the group is funded by Khairat al-Shater (pictured above), the currently imprisoned number two man of the Brotherhood.
Of note is the fact that, although al-Shater was never part of the Morsi government, U.S. diplomats often met with him, including Ambassador Anne Patterson and Sen. John McCain.

Hunting for individual terrorists is costly and difficult and due to Western codes of engagement, it may not be simple to neutralize them since they use human shields.
The real way to stop terrorism is by defusing the ideology of terrorism. The same money spent in deprogramming Muslims from their discriminatory Death Cult would pay off in savings of billions to most countries every year.
We cannot afford to have Islam in the world. Islam is a terrorist conspiracy.

Mortimer—with respect—Muslims have *never* been successfully “deprogrammed” by Infidels. And why would they be? They don’t respect the “filthy Kuffar”.
The times when we have successfully pushed back against Islam—and we have, many times throughout history—is when we acknowledge the reality of the threat and take a strong stand against it.
We can do that again—and we don’t have to worry about “deprogramming” Muslims. We just have to make it clear that they will make no headway in their Jihad against us. When the cost is high enough, Muslims *do* back off—at least until they sense that we are weak again.
There is, actually, no real reason that we should be in such existential peril from Islam, since we are superior in every way—intellectually, technologically, and, especially, morally.
But when supremacist Muslims meet with dhimmitude and appeasement, it just emboldens them—and that is what we are facing now.
We can change—and it needn’t involve a vain hope that Muslims will change, as well.

The egyptian army is doing a great job hunting these vermins. Instead of criticizing the army, human “rights” groups and U.S. diplomats should be helping in this fight, if they really want to defeat terrorism that is!
