The Iranians know how much the disastrous “nation-building” misadventures in Iraq and Afghanistan have weakened the United States. They also see how weak and feckless Obama and Kerry are, giving them everything they want for nothing in return and then boasting that they have brought about peace. Their boasting, in other words, doesn’t come from nowhere.
“IRGC Brig.-Gen. Panah: We Can Hit Any American or Israeli Target with Our Long-Range Missiles,” from MEMRI, January 27 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
In a recent Iranian TV interview, IRGC Brigadier-General Rastegar Panah said that Iran had the long-range missile capability to hit any necessary American or Israeli target. Stressing that Iran had improved its deterrent power, Panah, who is acting head of Iran’s Center for Sustainable National Security Studies, said: “We will be able to respond in kind to whatever military action they take.” The interview aired on Iran’s Channel 3 on January 27, 2014.
Following are excerpts from the interview:
Brigadier-General Rastegar Panah: What are the [American] military options? What do they want to do? What is this military option that they are repeatedly threatening to use as a trump card?
[…]
Interviewer: So you believe that the U.S. is not capable of attacking?
Brigadier-General Rastegar Panah: I believe that the Americans cannot attack us.
Interviewer: Because there would be ramifications…
Brigadier-General Rastegar Panah: They are considering the pros and cons. Undoubtedly, if the U.S. resorts to the military option and attacks us on any level… They are fully aware of our capabilities.
We take upon ourselves a commitment that with our nation, our people, and the values of our revolution, we will be able to respond in kind to whatever military action they take.
Their military analysts are well aware of this, as they themselves acknowledge.
[…]
Today, we have capabilities of long-range missiles, which can hit any necessary target. We definitely have the potential to hit any American or Israeli target, but we are not the ones who initiate wars. We have improved all our capabilities of deterrence, and the enemy knows this full well.

He is correct specially those missiles that are mounted on camel back. M

Camel back? Don’t be silly. They have the new Buraq 9000 SUX, their revolutionary donkey-based payload delivery system, capable of “hitting targets as distant as the “Al-Aqsa Church” in Topeka, Kansas .
Panah has already carried out a successful test of the system last night after a couple stiff doses of medicinal Nyquil, during his “Night Test”. The successful test was definitive proof of Allah’s blessing and power ( previous tests were evidence of Allah’s opinion that they had to work a little harder).
All praise to Allah!

“…giving them everything they want for nothing in return…”
This is how “negotiations” have always worked between muslims and non-muslims. The non-muslims make concessions; the muslims make none. The muslims keep coming back until they have everything they want. There, the “negotiations” end.
CornHolio says
And then, “peace” reigns.
The particular peace of Islam.

Given the recent scandal of almost 100 US Air Force officers at an ICBM base, who were found to be cheating on a test of their abilities to launch missiles, the Iranian General may be right. These officers, and their supervisors- both military and civilian- are a disgrace to their oaths, and to our country. It seems that there is a lot of that going around these days. If these incompetent and dishonest officers could even fire a missile-it might hit Paraguay.

They have missiles but they don’t have a religion.
Wannabe Muslims, they grovel beneath the heel of Mecca stone idol worship.
Even the venom mouthed Serpent of Satan Muhammad finds them disgusting.

“Iran can now build and deliver nukes, US intel reports”
Excerpt:
Tehran has capacity to break out to bomb if it wishes, intelligence chief James Clapper tells Senate, but would be detected if it tried to do so
BY MARISSA NEWMAN January 29, 2014
Iran now has all the technical infrastructure to produce nuclear weapons should it make the political decision to do, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper wrote in a report to a Senate intelligence committee published Wednesday. However, he added, it could not break out to the bomb without being detected
In the “US Intelligence Worldwide Threat Assessment,” delivered to the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Clapper reported that Tehran has made significant advances recently in its nuclear program to the point where it could produce and deliver nuclear bombs should it be so inclined.

Also, from the Commentary Magazine they offer more insights on James Clapper’s report …
Excerpt:
In yesterday’s State of the Union address President Obama spoke stridently of how “American diplomacy … has halted the progress of Iran’s nuclear program—and rolled back parts of that program.” The president spoke with apparent pride of the “peaceful” efforts being taken to prevent Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. How then to explain the fact that less than twenty-four hours after that speech was given, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence was being informed that Iran essentially already has breakout capacity for building the bomb should it wish to do so?

Wow obama is either completely clueless about Iran’s nuclear bomb capabilities, or he’s a bald-faced liar! Methinks the latter.

Gee—aren’t you glad we’re “in dialog” with the Mullahs now? sarc/off
Of course, the Islamic Republic of Iran just took this as an admission of weakness on our part, and are now rattling their sabers—literally and figuratively—in an entirely expected manner.
And notice how they openly refer to us as “the enemy”—I guess that appeasement didn’t work as well as we’d hoped…
What fools these dhimmis be!

Perception is a marketing strategy, so is eating crow. In 2011, Iran celebrated the launch of its Shahab-4 Dong-One that was “created to destroy the Jewish state” as quoted by Ahmadinejad. Subsequently, a quiet test drive with the Jericho (the real Elvis) and Larijani, presumably after some real consultation, said Iran is prepared to “repeal (not destroy) the Jewish state.” Now and then she has to bare a fang or two, to temper the old Jewish-Muslim beef and remind neighbours of her evolution from beast-to-business and that her default position, perhaps, maybe the former.
