He should stand firm on this. The evacuation of Gaza was supposed to bring peace, but brought only more jihad, as I predicted it would. The Israelis have nothing to apologize for in building houses on land that belongs to them historically, by UN declaration, by British government action, and by the otherwise universally recognized right of conquest (after the Six Day War).
“Netanyahu: I won’t evacuate settlements,” by Tovah Lazaroff in the Jerusalem Post, January 26 (thanks to Jerk Chicken):
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has promised not to evacuate West Bank settlements. He made the comments Friday in Davos, Switzerland, amid three separate meetings he held there with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the Israeli-Palestinian peace process.
“I have no intention of evacuating any settlement or uprooting any Israelis,” Netanyahu said in Hebrew during a briefing for Israeli journalists on the nine-month negotiating cycle, which ends in April.
His statement, which runs counter to the assumption that a final-status agreement would involve the evacuation of settlements, was not republished by the Prime Minister’s Office.
An Israeli official cautioned on Saturday night not to equate territorial concessions Israel might make to the Palestinians with statements about settlement evacuations.
Netanyahu is “against uprooting settlements, but irrespective of where the final borders are going to be.
He thinks Jews should be allowed to live in a future Palestinian state,” the official said….
The “Palestinians” have said that that is not going to happen, and even if it did, these people would be persecuted, harassed, endangered and ultimately driven out, like the Hindus who remained in Pakistan (and what became Bangladesh) after 1948.

I hope Israel will one day soon annex Judea and Samaria (Yehuda and Shomron), they should have done so immediately following the six day war.
The world has largely ignored or condoned a multitude of atrocities and illegal acts by the Arabs towards the ultimate goal of the destruction of Israel. This unilateral action will continue whether or not a ‘Palestinian’ state is created in Judea and Samaria.
Israel has survived very largely by its own determination and boldness and should seek to employ its own unilateral action in its own interests.

Amen to that.
Satan, through his Muslim tools has been trying to wipe the Jewish land of Israel, out of human memory for 1400 years.
Israel will still be there, long after Mecca is rubble and ash.

I don’t think Netanyahu has any intention of there being a “future palestinian state”. Some of Netanyahu’s party are in conflict with his statement, they are claiming he is abandoning 600000 Jews to the PA. Is he? Or is he considering the mistakes of Sharon? This from Artuz Sheva;
”
When Gush Katif was destroyed nine years ago, four communities from Northern Samaria were also systematically destroyed and cleansed of any Jewish presence. These four communities, along with the Gush Katif communities located in Gaza, were, overnight, simply wiped off the map.
For many of us in Israel, the disengagement from Gush Katif is not only the story of the destruction and forced transfer of Jewish communities, or even the story of 8,000 personal tragedies, but the embodiment of the belief in a false and deceiving political agenda which is termed “land for peace”.
In retrospect after nine years, and in light of the current negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Arab Authority under the seemingly obsessive auspices of Secretary Kerry, it is crucial to realize that nothing can justify the disengagement. It took place despite the many warnings by political leaders on the Right and resulted in one of Israel’s greatest strategic blunders.
The disengagement was, in fact, a strategic trade-off executed by Prime Minister Sharon in 2005 with the silent blessing of President Bush. Ariel Sharon was elected Prime Minister in 2001, in the midst of a War of Terror by the Palestinian Arabs known as the Second Intifada.
Sharon knew that peace with the Palestinian Arabs would not come about not then and not anytime in the foreseeable future. The only realistic and workable solution to the Palestinian Arab terror would be to manage the conflict in a manner that would leave Israel in de facto control of Judea and Samaria.
Between 2003 and 2005, prior to announcing the disengagement from Gush Katif, Sharon ordered the Israel Defense Forces into all the major Palestinian Arab cities and villages located in Judea and Samaria to wipe out the terror infrastructure created by Arafat, who controlled these areas after the signing of the Oslo agreements.
How, then, could Sharon turn the clock back on the Oslo Agreements without saying so, without embarrassing the previous Democratic American administration, without making a mockery of the Hollywood orchestrated signing of the Oslo Agreements on the White House lawn?
A strategic price would have to be paid by Israel.”
END QUOTE.
To give up land in Gaza, to move Jews out of Gaza is to repeat history, a failed history.

Indeed! …and the palestinians do not want to live in peace with the Jews, but complete conquest of Israel.

You should have written, “the Muslims are a fifth column within the Jewish homeland never ever to be trusted.”
The Christians – who are *called* “Arab” and who speak Arabic but are not necessarily Arab by ancestry, some of them are rethinking that “Arab” identity which is in fact not a good “fit” for them and are instead reclaiming Aramaic, which is distinct – are capable of waking up and realizing that they are far safer and freer within the Jewish state than in any of the surrounding lands; they are basically as well off as they would be in any “western” country. Some of them – led by the very brave and smart Fr Gabriel Naddaf of Nazareth – *have* woken up. And Fr Gabriel isn’t the only one, there are others. Those who *have* woken up are only too well aware of Israel’s precarious situation and are encouraging their young people to join the IDF…so as to help Israel survive. That movement – which is also a very brave and significant movement away from dhimmitude – should be applauded and encouraged.

Do I like the Haredi jews and the Old testament as a modern legal system. No. But I’m a fan of the modern prosperous state of Israel.
We are talking too much for irrelevant topics. It is not important who rule Gaza, the west bank, golan or Sinai, although Israel is smaller than Delaware. It is import the if JERUSALEM IS NOT GOING TO BE CHRISTIAN,IT IS NOT GOING TO BE MUSLIM ALSO. JERUSALEM IS JJEWISH CAUSE THAT IS THE RIGHTFUL SOLUTION

I’m sure Yeshua himself would prefer the Temple Mount remain Jewish — as would all his apostles. They never advocated replacing the Temple with anything, ever. They never renounced Judaism either.

Bravo!
We saw what happened when the Israelis forced Jews out of Gaza and pulled out—the place has served as a launching pad for Jihad ever since.

Well, that’s the only irrational thing I’ve heard. Of course, if these areas ever did become a “Palestinian” state, all Jews would be slaughtered. But I imagine Metanyahu will continue to everything possible to forestall that happening.

There will never be peace between Israel and the Muslim world. If we have learned nothing else this is one certainty. All we have to do is listen, but most want to turn a deaf ear.
