Nice interview. I particularly like the discussion about Abraham. Robert is right that he is clearly a supremacist figure in the Qur’an. However, Abraham is also a supremacist figure in the Jewish and Christian scriptures, though in different ways. I explain here:
Basically, the interfaith dialogue approach turns Abraham into a prototype of Unitarianism (my church!) in order to seek common ground. While I sympathize with such an approach, it ultimately rests on false claims.
