On this episode of my ABN Jihad Watch program, Nonie Darwish and I have a fascinating discussion about why lack of trust is epidemic in the Islamic world today, and spreading in the West.

Robert brings out the best from Nonie Darwish.
This video is full of gems.
A must see for every Muslim and leftist sympathizer.
College campuses should condense a written outline of this for uninformed leftists.
This would make a great question & answer smartphone App.

Deeds vs Grace … Obligations of sharia:
Intimidation thru constant threat to loss of reputation is such that Muslim men DUTIFULLY brutally beat their own daughters to death saying that it is for honor just to avoid admitting that the real reason is their own cowardly fear of being terrorized by their own Islamic neighbors.
How ironically disgraceful this is.
Islam’s Apostasy and Infidel dependency poses as DUTY to commit vile sins.
Islam’s disgrace veil can’t stand on its own.
It always needs enemies as a smokescreen to hide its pathetic charade.

As Nonie states, it is harder to move from one Arab country to another than it is to move around Europe. But moving from any other Western country to a similar one is comparatively easy. Australia to New Zealand. Canada to the US and so on.
In my view the existence of the UNRWA is exactly aligned to this approach.
Unlike UNHCR, countries that take in refugees via UNRWA do not have to offer a pathway to settlement, citizenship etc.
It suits Arabs to have ‘Palestinians’ permanently in limbo.

Excellent discussion with Nonie Darwish, who as a former Muslim from Egypt, and now a free non-Muslim American, has both the insider’s and the outsider’s perspective on life in Islamic society. Nonie’s insights into the psychology of day-to-day life Islam world, having experienced it herself, are of great value.
Islam, with its harsh legal punishments and strong taboos against leaving or criticizing the religion, along with its acceptance of lying in various circumstances, produces a society based on fear and hatred. Islam produces a significant percentage of hypocrites–people who outwardly present as Islamically pious but who inwardly are not–due to this extreme level of external pressure. At the same time, Islam, with its strong emphasis on activism and sharia-enforcing vigilance among ordinary Muslims, i.e., “commanding the right and forbidding the wrong” (as mentioned in the Qur’an), produces a “vanguard” (also mentioned in the Qur’an) of vigilante enforcers among ordinary Muslims. In Islam, it’s not enough that the government and laws are Islamic. It’s not enough that there be outright jihadists. Ordinary Muslims are commanded by Allah in the Qur’an and by Muhammad in the Hadith to ensure that Islam is being followed. They are sinning and in danger of hell-fire if they fail to do so when then are able. Life is a test, the result of which is pass (Paradise) or fail (Hell). Allah in the Qur’an commands Muslims to compete with one another in piety and good deeds (i.e., as defined Islamically).
Q 66:6 “O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones; over it are angels stern and strong, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.”
Allah tells Muslims to reject their own family members if they are not Islamically adherent. Hypocrites, like apostates, are threatened with hell-fire; and the believers are repeatedly warned about hypocrites and apostates. As Nonie mentioned, Muslims enforce sharia on each other. Imagine always being afraid of doing something or saying something that could get you killed. Hence the lack of trust among Muslims.
Muslims’ self-enforcement of sharia rules about blasphemy are similar in some respects to non-Muslim Westerners’ self-enforcement of political correctness. The rising distrust among Westerners, post 9/11, which Nonie and Robert discussed, includes a fear of “Islamophobia” and a fear of being accused of “Islamophobia.” We have sharia activists and their enablers to blame, but also ourselves collectively as a society, for allowing this madness to take root. It is up to us to put an end to it.

Excellent video.
It really highlights the fact that the main weapon of the Islamist is the lie. Also the part about the “moderate” Muslims being in a “dance” with the Jihadis in order to perpetuate the lie is quite an insight.

This is one of the most fascinating interviews I’ve seen in a very long time. I was riveted. I wish I could get everyone I know to sit down and watch this. This was an excellent investment of an hour. God bless Nonie Darwish.

Nonie is the rare sort of intellectual who can make complex ideas seem easy to understand. Her homey examples put the issues in context. She translates the ‘Arab mentality’ for the Western person.
Constant fear and paranoia rule Islam.
Islamic culture recognizes that no one has ‘character’, but is forced to conform by their family, clan and tribe and preserve their ‘honor’. In the West, a man’s word is his bond, meaning that ‘honor’ is a person trait of personal character.
I have learned so much from listening to Nonie. God bless, Nonie.

Good point, Nonie! The Jews were gracious when they received Mohammed in Yathrib. As soon as he could, he turned, betrayed them, murdered them, enslaved them and took all their property.
Bait and switch is the normal Islamic technique.

Nonie debated Tariq Ramadan (who is a professional liar and MB supporter) at Oxford.
Ramadan not surprisingly lied about Qaradawi supporting death for apostasy.
In 1998, Ramadan wrote a foreword to a collection of fatwas by Yusuf al Qaradawi, published by the European Council of the Fatwa … When Ramadan was asked about this foreword and his “deep respect” for such a reactionary theologian his answer was typical beating around the bush: “I quote [Qaradawi’s work] when I find it interesting. I also express criticisms or distance myself from some of his positions, which can be explained by the fact that he does not live in Western society. He develops social, political and geostrategic analyses which belong to him, and which I don’t always share.”

I have had the occasion to meet many muslims. I have often found then easy to get along with, generous and hospitable.
But what I have sensed is that the relationship could only be very shallow.
For me, the best definition of the Muslim mindset is to take the definition of what a proper gentleman is supposed to represent, and imagine the very opposite.
For them, this is a tragedy. Underneath the posturing there is a frightened little boy or girl keeping its eyes tight shut against the scary world.

Nice episode Robert. Could the next episode of ABN’s Jilhad Watch talk about the Islamic slave trade in Black Africans?
