Islamic supremacist anti-Semitic propaganda endangers not only Jews. “Wounded Syrian couple treated in Israel,” from Israel Hayom, January 19 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
Israel Defense Forces troops brought a wounded Syrian couple to Poriah Hospital near Tiberias Thursday night. The couple, residents of the embattled town Daraa, arrived with gunshot wounds in their legs. The male is 27 years old and his wife is 23 and in the early stages of pregnancy.
While the two did not have life threatening wounds, the two have been through an immense amount of duress recently: Two months ago, the couple lost their daughter two weeks after she was born. “Because of the gunfire and the siege on our town in the Daraa area, we were left with no choice but to deliver the child at home — and the medical condition of my baby deteriorated,” the woman told Israel Hayom. “All our pleading at the [Syrian] army checkpoint to go to the hospital did not help. We went back home and our daughter died there.”
Eight days ago, the couple was struck with another tragedy. Their village came under attack, “artillery bombardment, gunfire, and planes bombing from above,” the woman said. “In the evening my brother came and took us, my mother and two other wounded people and we tried to flee the village. During our exit from the village we were fired on by the army and my brother was killed before my eyes. We managed to escape back to the village and were treated in a field hospital. But the wounds got worse — until my cousin took us to the border and we got into Israel for treatment,” the woman said. Her brother, 19, fought with rebels trying to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime.
Currently the couple remains hospitalized, both in the same room. The woman is struggling with being away from her family, but admitted that she did not expect such friendly treatment from her enemy. “We were surprised by the treatment and dedicated medical care we got in Israel,” she said. “We hesitated coming to Israel, because we were taught to hate it. We were taught this is a brutal enemy state, but we learned that reality is different. People here have a conscience. Our enemy is in Syria, not in Israel. If only we could stay here.”

This is just like the situation with Brigitte Gabriel and her family almost forty years ago, when they sought medical care for her mother who was injured in war-torn Lebanon.
Unfortunately, they reactions are not always as sane as Gabriele’s or this Syrian couple’s—I read an article a couple of months ago about Israel treating injured Syrians, and one of the patients—both she and her niece were being treated for gunshot wounds—actually complained that she was going to haver to come up with some story, because she couldn’t admit that she had been in Israel.
She didn’t sound grateful—she sounded annoyed.
There was also a fellow patient of Gabriele’s—a Muslim woman—who actually spat on and swore at the Jewish doctors and nurses.

That means he is probably fighting with “Islamists” who are even more keen on the destruction of Israel than is Assad. Will the caring treatment this couple received change anything?
I rather doubt it..
And note, the cousin, at least, *knew* that Israel would give them treatment.

Yeah—but they would not have come in the first place if they hadn’t had some idea that they would receive medical care—only the friendly TLC seems to be a surprise.
Jews would, of course, receive *neither* from their Muslim neighbors.

What a beautiful testimony to the culture of life vs. the culture of death.
Now that’s what I call winning hearts and minds!

These two would be about Syrian patients 221 and 222 by my reckoning. When recovered these Syrians are repatriated across the border under cover of darkness. If discovered coming home they would be butchered.
At Golan the Syrians bring their wounded to within sight of the Israel garrison and then withdraw. The Israelis then venture out, pick up the wounded and take them to hospital.
‘Palestinians’ have long sought medical assistance in Israel and pay no more than Israeli citizens. Many are treated free as costs are picked up by the medical charity the Shimon Peres Foundation.
Try that anywhere else in the ME.
BTW has anyone seen a Western news outlet mentioning the Al Jazeera reporter who urged Syrians to take the same care to avoid civilian casualties as the Israelis do?

Another example is One New Heart, a program started by an American Christian missionary couple out of Jerusalem. Working with Israeli doctors who give their services pro bono and Hadassah hospital in Israel, they sponsor Arab and Palestinian children to come to Israel for life-saving heart surgeries. Why so many cases? The children suffer congenital heart defects due to the mass in-breeding among the Palestinians. At any rate, these families are learning that Christians and Jews are not such evil people.

Their newborn baby died two months ago and the woman is pregnant again already?
Don’t Muslim men ever give their wives a break>

That was meant to be a question mark…this new system is all over the place and I’m confused.

Too bad many more can’t see the truth. I’m glad at least they have seen and I hope they share with their friends too. I’m sure that is a voice they will try to silence. I pray that God will bring peace to Israel And I pray it will be soon. I pray for a great awakening in the muslim world. I pray Jesus will make Himself known to them. I pray for peace all over the middle east.

Helping those Syrians is the least Israel can do, after openly opposing Assad’s secular regime and standing in favor of the vibrant ‘democracy’ of the Islamist rebel militants.

ISLAM’S CULTURE OF HATE AND PREJUDICE is inculcated from babyhood. Even Muslims coming to Europe, UK and America are filling their children with hate for the host peoples…teaching their children that the hosts are the enemy. How can we continue to do this and not suffer severe consequences from daily jihad in formerly safe, peaceful neighborhoods? We have imported violent enemies who want to kill us in our offices, train stations, subways, airports and schools.

Assuming he has Muslim friends, would it be unfair to ask Mr. Burt

Perhaps a life-changing event. Sounds like they have experienced the civilized as opposed to the savage. They will need to be processed through a muzzi re-education camp or subjected to an honor killing…

That is the way to go Israel. Acts of kindness will will win many people to your side. I know Muslims here who speak positively of Israel because there family are Israel citizens. Keep up the good works. As Gandhi said: fight evil with good.

“People here have a conscience.”
And THAT is the fundamental difference between Islam and all other religions and cultures.
