The really clever sleight-of-hand that Islamic supremacists and apologists, along with their Leftist allies, have pulled off in the West was to make people think that to call attention to an attack like this one, and to call for the defense and protection of the Hindu minority in Bangladesh, would be an act of “intolerance,” “bigotry,” and even “hatred.” We’re constantly told that these attacks are perpetrated by a tiny minority of extremists that twists and hijacks Islam’s true, peaceful teachings, and that the vast majority of peaceful Muslims abhor and reject such violence. Very well. Where is the vast majority of peaceful Muslims doing anything to rein in violent Muslims and stop such attacks? Nowhere. They’re doing nothing. So it is left to non-Muslims to point out that the only bigotry and intolerance in this picture is that of the Muslim attackers, not of those who note the attack.
“Hindu temple attacked in Gazipur,” from the Daily Star, February 27 (thanks to U.B.):
Unidentified miscreants vandalised idols in a Hindu temple in Bathania Chala under Kaliakoir upazila of the district on Tuesday night.
Dilip Kumar, a member of Sarbojanin Temple Committee, said miscreants desecrated all the idols in the temple, including the Durga, Laxmi, Saraswati, Kartik, Ganesh and Asur.
All the damaged idols were dumped in a field near the temple. The thugs also left notes threatening the Hindus to stop worshipping idols or face bomb attacks.
General secretary of the temple committee Surja Mohan Sarker said they left the temple about 7:30pm on Tuesday night. But in the following morning they found that all the idols have been vandalised.
A case has been filed with Kaliakoir Police Station in this regard.
On February 10, miscreants damaged two idols at the house of Nepal Chandra Barman in Gachgari area of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge Muhammad Omar Faruk of Kaliakoir Police Station said the attack on the temple was a stray incident.
Oh, well, that makes it all right.
Actually, however, Muhammad Omar Faruk is rather transparently covering for his coreligionists. This is just the opposite of a stray incident. This is an incident that is part of a global effort to wage war against and subjugate unbelievers under the rule of Islamic law. There is nothing “stray” about it.

That’s very unfair. They would probably just respond w/the two standard, nonsensical defenses of islam0nazism they always employ:
1. all religions are the same
2. Christianity is just as bad.
Paleologos says
That’s right. That’s what islam is all about.
islam = an anti-western ideology masquerading as a religion
Islam doesn’t care what your religion is, though astute Jews and Catholic Crusaders have historically struck fear into the universally craven islamic heart.
As long as you are non-islamic, i.e., an “infidel”, then islam will force convert you, submit you, or kill you.
Lovely religion you have going there, you muslim morons. If you are muslim; you’re being a moron is assumed.
This is why you can’t build a nuclear weapon on your own, but must import Russian and Red Chinese nuclear scientists.

“Where is the vast majority of peaceful Muslims doing anything to rein in violent Muslims and stop such attacks? Nowhere.”
The problem with peaceful Muslims or peaceful Christians or peaceful Hindus or peaceful anyone is just that: they are peaceful, they don’t carry arms, they are silent, they don’t fight back.
It’s time for this “peaceful” attitude to change. Sometimes we need to be violent in order to achieve peace. Sometimes we need to get organized, get armed and FIGHT BACK.
Failing to do so makes us cowards not peaceful.

What about the “peaceful” muslimes who support islam0nazi jihad? Either morally, or financially. After all, islam0nazi terrorism isn’t a for-profit business venture is it? Or is it?

The Daily Star managed to not use the words, “Islam” or “Muslim”! Quite an achievement given the note that was left and the reason for the attack!

This is so disgusting and appalling. Most Muslims claim to revere Jesus as a prophet; well, Jesus never said to bomb or attack the places of worship of people one doesn’t agree with. He preached tolerance and respect for those “outside the tribe”, and even told people to love their enemies.
PJG says
They are being sneaky when they say they revere Jesus as a prophet. For one thing, they are trying to get across that Jesus was just one step towards Mohemmed and the “last” (final) religion of Islam. Then there is their own version of Jesus, called “Isa” who will come again to break the cross, kill the pigs and kill the Christians: in other words, destroy Christianity for his buddy Mohammed.
I argued with a couple of immigrant Muslims the other day (former “asylum seekers”, donchaknow…) They tried to tell me that they are Jews, Christians and Muslims (yes, all three…how cute) so I said that if they are Christian they of course believe Jesus was the Son of God. They physically recoiled, horrified at the very idea (and that their plan to fool me didn’t work.)
The other nonsense they said to me made me feel that usually they get away with it; that Western people simply swallow any lies or nonsense they come up with. They were shocked when I said, “How dare you insult Jesus?!” because anger is the last thing they expect from a Christian; anger is THEIR territory.

THe only muslo-nazi I ever got angry with in person was a Turkish muslo-nazi. He flatly stated the Armenian Genocide was actually Armenian Christians committing a genocide against muslimes (nothing like a little re-write of history to make one’s day). Then he went on to deny the Istanbul pogrom in the 1950’s as well — at which point I told him to go pound sand.

Unidentified “miscreants”?

Yeah that definition of “miscreant” pretty much describes **mohammedans**, alright!

This Hindu temple was probably there for some 3000 years before the Muslims invaded India.
What does surprise me, is that these invading Muslims did not follow standard Muslim practice ie smash the temple to bits and build a mosque in its place.

All this started in Bangladesh since Ziaur Rahman changed Bangladesh from a secularist country to Islamization in 1978. Since then Muslims started to persecute Hindus again in Bangladesh. The BNP in Bangladesh is as good as BNP in the UK.

Wendy Doniger Hindu book (critique from Huff Post)
Even the Huff Post admits to this sham
“She covers nearly a thousand years and blurs the time period of Islamic rule in India, something that most historians would never do. Doniger also whitewashes Islamic rule over India, claiming that violence by Muslim rulers against Hindus has been overstated. That would contradict even the records kept by Muslim scholars of that time, and go against the accounts given by Tamerlane, whose forces ransacked Delhi and killed at least 100,000 Hindus.
Doniger’s refusal to acknowledge factual inaccuracies, is mind-boggling, as it severely undermines her own academic credibility”

Bangladesh: Muslims vandalize Hindu temple, threaten to bomb it unless Hindus convert to Islam or move to India
…………………………….
Even though Bangladesh had been Hindu for hundreds of years, supremacist Muslims now claim it as a “Muslim area” and will convert Hindus or drive them out.
This is the very pattern that they have followed for their entire vicious history.

One can only imagine what the deceased Indophile scholar, David McCutchion, would have had to say, had he lived to see such things transpire. He tracked down and documented historic temples in what is now Bangladesh. As described in a wonderful posting by one ‘Hugh Fitzgerald’, in this jihadwatch thread (scroll down)
http://www.jihadwatch.org/2007/07/blast-near-islamabads-red-mosque-kills-11
“I recently picked up at a book sale a copy of “The Miscellany,” edited by P. Lal, and published in Calcutta. Issue #51 (June 1972), one of three devoted to the then recently-deceased, at age 41, of David McCutchion.
“An Englishman, David McCutchion was a lover of India, not of the william-dalrympish sort, that is the kind who loves the luxe of the Moghul court and its love intrigues, nor the kind of Englishman (also william-dalrympish) of the walking-across-half-a-continent-when-young sort, making use of local color of the human interest kind, often grizzled or wizened or wizenedly grizzled picturesque Muslims, to do the work for him (downmarket Byrons and Newbys, not to menton the now-unfashionable, because bookish, traveller Gide in “Le Retour du Tchad”),
“but a true scholar, an Indophile who studied brick temples in Bengal, and Indian writing, was a friend of Satyajit Ray and all sorts of interesting people in Calcutta who never get the attention in the West that all those anti-Western islamisant arundhati-roys manage to get.
“ I read through The Miscellany #52 – and discovered a tribute from the Sanskrit (and Buddhism) scholar Richard Gombrich (son of E. H.), who opened his essay, titled “His Work Is Unrepeatable,” with this: “The recent death of Mr. David McCutchion in Calcutta at the age of 41 is a catastrophe for oriental studies.”
‘Gombrich describes McCutchion as a scholar who “devoted all his time, his money, and his exceptional energy and enthusiasm, to the study of arts and monuments which are fast disappearing. He tramped all over Bengal, both West and East, taking notes and photographs; his knowledge of the countryside was famous.
“A self-taught photographer, he spared no pains to take the perfect shot; and he leaves well over ten thousand colour slides and as many black and white photographs of high professional quality…..His greatest specialities were Bengali temple architecture and terra-cotta sculpture, the latter a lost skill of whose monuments little is known to the wider world; he also studied and collected Bengali scroll paintings. He explored many other parts of India too, and recorded even Gupta temples previously unknown.”
And a little more, taken from a website:
“David McCutchion (1930-1972), English-born scholar, Indophile and early critic of Raja Rao, was an authentic pioneer: in his short lifetime…made a major contribution to the study of Bengali temples…one of the first scholars to write on the now much commented subject of Indian Writing in English….Born in Coventry, David attended that city’s King Henry VIII Grammar School. He made it to Cambridge University the hard way, on intellectual merit alone. He read Modern Languages (French and German) at Jesus College. After graduating in 1953, he taught English for two years in southern France. He went to India in 1957. He worked there first as an English teacher…and later, as Professor and then Reader in Comparative Literature at Jadavpur University, Calcutta….
“David’s ground-breaking study of Bengali brick temples, ‘The Temples of Bankura District’, was published by Writers Workshop in 1972.”
‘David McCutchion lived through the war made by West Pakistan (now Pakistan) on East Pakistan, now Bangladesh, in 1970-71, a war in which Muslim fanatics in East Pakistan, locally called razakars, joined forces with the raping and murdering army of West Pakistan, accepting the argument that what was good for Pakistan – that is, staying one country – was necessarily good for Islam, and what was good for Islam was all that mattered.
‘Here is how, in a letter from England to a friend, McCutchion described the behavior of Pakistan:
“…We are raising funds {for those in what was then East Pakistan being murdered by the army of West Pakistan and its local, fervently Muslim East Pakistani collaborators], and hope to see the Minister of Overseas Development.
‘What do I think of it all? Appalling…Pakistan should never have existed – it has cost more lives than the whole of the British Empire in 200 years.
‘What should I think of a culture that burns down the British Council library in Lahore because an English publisher printed a picture of Mahomet? Fanaticism plus Machiavellianism plus brutality equals Islamic Pakistan.”
‘One More Time:
“What do I think of it all? Appalling…Pakistan should never have existed — it has cost more lives than the whole of the British Empire in 200 years. What should I think of a culture that burns down the British Council library in Lahore because an English publisher printed a picture of Mahomet? Fanaticism plus Machiavellianism plus brutality equals Islamic Pakistan.”
‘Print out that last bit, and put it on your refrigerator, under the title: Pakistan.
