Among other forms of “retaliatory terrorism,” some 80 Christian churches were attacked in Egypt immediately after the June 30 Revolution, which saw the ousting of Muslim Brotherhood president Morsi.
And now that Egypt has sentenced to death hundreds of Muslim Brotherhood supporters for the widespread terror they launched on the nation after the people’s revolution, the Brotherhood and its supporters are, once again, retaliating by attacking Coptic Christian minorities and their churches.
Yesterday, Friday — the day when Muslims meet for prayers, the day when their imams incite attacks on churches and other forms of terrorism — in Ain Shams, a suburb of Cairo, “Muslim protesters attacked a Coptic Orthodox Christian church on March 28. Four people were killed in the attack on the church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Archangel Michael. Among the dead are a 25-year-old journalist and a Coptic Christian worshipper. When Egyptian security forces intervened, violence spread throughout the surrounding neighborhood. Muslim radicals are frequently whipped up into frenzy by their religious leaders on Fridays when they gather for prayer.”
Among other things, the attackers set fire to parked cars and opened fire on the church itself.
According to eyewitnesses, Sameh Merry, a Coptic Christian woman, was “murdered by Muslim protesters when they noticed that she had a small cross dangling from the rear-view mirror of her car. Other witnesses claim that she was killed because she was in possession of a firearm. Coptic Orthodox Bishop Raphael expressed condolences over the deaths.”
It’s certainly plausible to believe this woman was specifically attacked because of her Christian cross. Anecdotes of Christians being targeted and mistreated because of the cross are many and across the entire Islamic world (see pgs. 84-94 of Crucified Again). Recent examples can be read here, here and here.

and the woman and all her unborn children die
Believe Jesus when He says He came to give you life and life abundantly, to take away the one thing you can never remove no matter what you do and that is personal sin which when it is conceived it corrupts and when it matures, it kills….Jesus gives Life to all who come to Him….don’t let the snake cause you to believe a lie because he is the a liar and the father of lies and a murderer from the beginning….Jesus is Life…all who call on His name will be received into His kingdom. Now is the time to learn who Jesus is. Read His words and see for yourself in this book:

Satan huh. What if I don’t believe in personal sin? If I don’t believe what you believe, does that mean Satan has me, and I am sinning?
shosh7154 says
Everyone has a conscience, knowledge of good and evil. If you have ever told a lie that makes you a liar. And lying is a sin. Whether you believe in the law of gravity or not has no effect on its function. There is another law more binding than the law of gravity, because outside earth’s atmosphere gravity disappears, but sin does not. The law of sin and death will affect your life for all eternity if you reject the Only One Who can remove the power of sin to separate you from G-d. Everyone has an emptiness, a vacant place inside that cannot be filled with things or even other people. In a popular some years ago, the lyrics were …Kathy, I’m lost I said, though I knew she was sleeping. I’m empty and aching and I don’t know why…counting the cars on the New Jersey freeway, they’ve all come to look for America….
Jesus says in Matthew 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. And another place Jesus speaks about being satisfied within in John 4:14 But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. And another place in John 6:35 Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes on me shall never thirst. No more empty meaningless existence. I once was closeted in my own small universe where I sat on the throne. Nothing made sense, I was constantly frustrated by events and people and it really looked like an endless array of days stamped out of the same mold…is this all there is? Until I met Jesus who showed me that life is full of everything I ever longed for…Psalms 16:11 You will show me the path of life: in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures for evermore. I have never looked back and it has been more than 10 years now of every day learning a little more about this magnificent Being who fills my life up with good things and shows me eternity is full of life with Him whose name is Life….John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. As a man on a street in New York once said to me…why are you so happy… I told him “Jesus” and he said “it works for you” and I told him, “it” works for everyone who will invite Jesus into his life.

Recently, there was a militant atheist commenting on this site, bemoaning the evils of ALL religions as equal scourges on mankind.
I vehemently attacked that commenter, aghast at his testimony that Christianity is just as evil as Islam. Any sane person can see that Christianity is a far more benign religion, and Islam is an inherently destructive influence in the world that needs to be radically reformed or purged all together.
In broad strokes, I view Christianity as the foundation upon which Western Civilisation was built – which is commendable. I am however, an atheist through and through. One thing I defended Christianity on was it’s tolerance of other religions compared to Islam.
I will never believe that Jesus was the son of god, as well as many others. Whilst I respect your religion and your decision to practice the faith – I will insist that you respect others as we respect you.
Implying that atheists have been corrupted by Satan, or that we are woefully ignorant – is extremely insulting. Many atheists are quite familiar with the Bible, I myself have read it. I still don’t believe in God. I have never met ‘Satan’ and insinuating that atheism is the product of evil is just plain wrong.
I am perfectly happy living my life, I don’t need Jesus to be a good person or to tell me how to act. Please, keep your preaching to yourself – no atheist will experience anything except irritation when you try to convert them. Although it’s fine to hold those opinions, show some respect for others and mind your own business.
shosh7154 says
I understand you perfectly. I was an atheist just like you and completely devoted to being my own god until the day came when I met Jesus and the dimly lit corridors of my mind became piercingly bright with His presence and I saw a prison dungeon where I had lived all my life. I praise Him now for opening the door to that place and calling me into His Kingdom….Isaiah 42:7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. This is my request to G-d that you will allow Him to give you Life, in Jesus’ name.
shosh7154 says
It is my request to the G-d Who saved me from outer darkness that He will come to meet you even as He did with me. I thank You Loving G-d Who brought me to You. Please L-rd make a way in the desert for this man even as you did for me. In Jesus’ Name. amein

xxx, it isn’t Christians, or Jews, or Hindus, or Buddhists who are slaughtering people on the tenets of their faith—just Muslims.
Moreover, pious Muslim are a threat to agnostics and atheists every bit as much as they are to other people of faith.

Freudian displacement.
They’re cowards in the face of the government, and so they attack whoever is closest.
Everything they do is merely human.
The worship of the Ummah is profane. There is nothing of God in it.
And their means of protecting it?
Human only.
The Christian who is martyred invokes the Most High and goes to the Most High.
The Muslim who kills him calls himself a martyr, but is not so fortunate.
The Muslim martyr is a murder. Always.

The report doesn’t say the attackers were “Muslim Brotherhood”. This is a bad tendency, to assume that the only problematic Muslims in Egypt are “Muslim Brotherhood”. This is just a rehashed version of the TMOE meme (Tiny Minority of Extremists).

Killing innocent people prohibited:

Killing innocent is a symbol of ignorance [lack of religious knowledge]:
Muslim :: Book 34 : Hadith 6458
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: (When) the time would draw close to the Last Hour, knowledge would be snatched away, turmoil would be rampant, miserliness would be put (in the hearts of the people) and therewould be much bloodshed. They said: What is al-harj? Thereupon he said: It is bloodshed.
Bukhari :: Book 9 :: Volume 88 :: Hadith 185

The Prophet said, “Near the establishment of the Hour there will be days during which (religious) knowledge will be taken away (vanish) and general ignorance will spread, and there will be Al-Harj in abundance, and Al-Harj means killing.”
Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 3 :: Hadith 85

Islamic period) through which we are now living Will there be a bad time after this good time? He (the Holy Prophet) said: Yes. I said: Will there be a good time after this bad time? He said: Yes. As DDA ably points out, Islam *does not* consider Infidels—including these Christian victims—to be innocent at all, since they have not converted to Islam.
Hence, they are considered fair game for any Muslim savagery.
More:
17:33. and do not kill anyone which Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause. Of course, “Allah” has never forbidden the slaughter of Infidels. And Qisas only pertains to Muslims killing Muslims.
There is a Hadith that specifically states, “Let no Muslim be killed because of an Infidel”. There is even an elaborate calculous as to how much less an Infidel’s life is worth than a Muslim’s.

Verily, he is helped (by the Islamic law).

I observe that the mohammedan spammer, above, ‘shabeer’, refrains from telling us that the mohammedan definition of “innocent” is not quite the same as the non-mohammedan definition.
All non-Muslims qua non-Muslims are guilty: ‘guilty’ of breathing-while-kuffar, ‘guilty’ of rejecting infernal allah, ‘guilty’ of refusing to regard warlord, bandit, caravan robber, torturer, slave-taker-and-trader and rapist mohammed ha-meshugga as any kind of ‘prophet’. No non-Muslim can, really, be “innocent”.
All Muslims qua Muslims are ‘innocent’…so long as (in the eyes of whichever other Muslim has appointed him or herself judge, jury and executioner) they are of the correct sect and are properly sharia-compliant.

So far, the answer seems to be “no”.
