I can’t reasd the article by Mr Spencer(blocked at work) but LIBERTY AND ISLAM seems an obvious oxymoron; Islam were freedom ends and slavery begins.

Let’s hope that BBC, al Jazeera and NPR are also blocked at work then, in all fairness.

Great speech, Mr. Spencer. Thank you. I for one will be jointing the Q Society tomorrow and hopefully joining in on packing out the function room next time you visit Aus.
I find that, here in Australia, people for the most part don’t have a clue about Islam other than what US presidents and Muslims have told us; “Religion of peace, yada, yada, yada… Muslim terrorists aren’t real Muslims, betrayal of Islam, yada, yada, yada.”
It’s quite frustrating to then have people look at you like a conspiracy junkie, when you bring up the fact that Muslim supremacists are actually trying to take over. People who have never researched Islam, it’s ideology, or it’s history.

Damn. I accidentally posted early. Stupid iPhone that isn’t quite compatible with stout thumbs.
Anyways, what I meant to say was, screw sitting down and watching my country slowly turn into Australistan. If people want to think I’m a greasy bigot, so be it. People who know me better may actually be compelled to look into things for themselves. I’m in.

Welcome to Q Society, mate!
It’s Q for Kew because that’s where it was founded, but it might also be Q for Question…
How old are you? – I just turned 50, and have four offspring aged between 23/24 and 13.
And when did you begin to realize that the Ummah – the mohammedan mob – was a Problem far, far worse than was, back in the day, the Third Reich??
Islam has been on my radar screen, with a gradually increasing sense of urgency and alarm, since the late 1980s; I had read the Koran before 9/11, and pegged it as a weird, creepy and violent cult text, so that 9/11 did not surprise, and I also knew, already, about the apostasy law, through reading a couple of “testimony” type books by apostates from Islam who’d become Christians. But it wasn’t till I found jihadwatch in 2006 (following a link from Bat Yeor’s dhimmitude website, which I had found while running a google search for books by Jacques Ellul, that I really got an idea of the size of the problem. I’ve been here at jihadwatch educating and (hopefully) helping educate, ever since. As soon as Q got started, I joined up.
