How is the situation of the “Palestinians” not like that of the Jews during the Holocaust? Well, let’s see. Jews in Nazi concentration camps were not lobbing rockets at German civilians. Jews in Nazi concentration camps were not producing TV shows crowing about their coming genocide of Germans, and saying it was their duty before God to kill Germans. Jews in Nazi concentration camps didn’t have the UN constantly putting Germany under pressure by issuing regular condemnations of the way they were treated. Jews in Nazi concentration camps weren’t showered with billions of dollars in aid from the U.S., the European Union, and elsewhere.
This planned event by the Platform Bewust Moslim group is, in short, nothing less than grotesque, and its timing is a calculated insult. In a sane Holland and a sane Europe, the Platform Bewust Moslim group would receive a storm of condemnation. It won’t.
“Dutch Muslims plan ‘Palestinian Holocaust’ event,” JTA, April 30, 2014 (thanks to Twostellas):
THE HAGUE, Netherlands — A Dutch Muslim group is planning to commemorate “the ethnic cleansing of Palestine” on Holland’s memorial day for victims of Nazism.
The Platform Bewust Moslim group, whose name means “Platform Aware Muslim,” is planning to hold the ceremony on May 4 in Hilversum near Amsterdam under the banner ”Palestine, the Shadow Holocaust,” the Jewish television channel Joods Omroep reported on its website Monday.
The event was advertised as a symposium offering “a review of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine and the passive attitude of the international community” and is slated to take place at Hilversum’s Al-Amal mosque.
May 4 is the Netherlands’ official day for Remembrance of the Dead, when official commemorations are held for Dutch civilians and members of the armed forces killed by enemy forces, in terrorist attacks or in combat. The date was selected after World War II and many of the events held on May 4 are designed to commemorate victims of Nazism, often with an emphasis on victims of the Holocaust.
The municipality of Hilversum has received 45 objections urging it to prevent or postpone the event, Joods Omroep reported. Some complaints also were made to the Center for Information and Documentation on Israel, or CIDI, a watchdog group based in The Hague. Hilversum Mayor Pieter Broertjes told the Joods Omroep he is discussing the relevant issues with organizers, “including the possibility of postponement.”
One of the complainants is Jack Justus, who was among the leaders of campaign that ended with the issuing of an injunction in 2012 which forbade the town of Vorden from going ahead with plans to memorialize German soldiers on May 4 along with their victims as a gesture which organizers said was meant to promote world peace and reconciliation.
Justus and Federative Jewish Netherlands — the Jewish group that obtained the injunction — said that commemorating soldiers of the Third Reich along with their victims was immoral because it blurred the moral distinction between perpetrators and victims of genocide.
But “the Hilversum commemoration tops it all,” Justus told the Joods Omroep. “It’s an enormous insult to victims, survivors and their descendants.”
Separately, the eastern Dutch town of Landerd has canceled plans to unveil on May 4 a memorial plaque for a German pilot who was shot down over the town during World War II, the Omroep Brabant reported Monday. The cancellation came after a complaint by Federative Jewish Netherlands.
Whose bright idea was that memorial plaque? Someone who thinks that the Nazis should have won World War II?

More like the Shadowy Holocaust.
“The event was advertised as a symposium offering “a review of the ethnic cleansing of Palestine and the passive attitude of the international community””
There’s ethnic cleansing in “Palestine”. Descendants of arab invaders want to kill all the descendants of the native Jewish population. And the whole world shrugs and says “well, maybe them joooz poisoned one too many wells”.

You know, if the “palestinians” were really being persecuted by Israel that date would have been just right. But since “palestinians” are the ones doing the ethnic cleansing it’s adding insult to injury. It’s offensive to all those who were in fact persecuted and killed for no other reason that their race, religion, sexual orientation or political affiliation. And the only coverage that should be given to that event should be exposing it for the lie it is and the crap it’s trying to pass on the Western people. In fact, the ideal scenario would be covering the religiously motivated participation of muslims on the side of the Axis and the sordid relationship between Hitler and the Mufti of Jerusalem.

People are staying vigilant. Good. I bet the sleaze ball politicians will make their decision based what would hurt their popularity less. The most likely outcome is that the event will take place but not on the 4th. I don’t see them wanting to piss anyone off either by canceling the event or by allowing to be on the 4th.
“But “the Hilversum commemoration tops it all,” Justus told the Joods Omroep. “It’s an enormous insult to victims, survivors and their descendants.””
I’d say that that much should be obvious, especially in a country who suffered 5 years under German occupation but then again, Holland had one of the highest levels of collaboration during the Holocaust and around 3/4s of its Jewish population were killed with the cooperation of the Dutch police and civil service, opposed only by a tiny minority of the population.
To think how Holland welcomed Jews back in the 16th century, and what the jewish community did for Holland… This turn of events is truly disgusting.

what cleansing of the Palestinians? the ones by Hamas murdering Fatah? or the one by Jordan? m
john spielman says
IF there was “ethnic cleansing ” of Palestianians, who ever did it did a lousy job, as there are more now than in 1948!
Ethnic cleansing was done by Turkey against the Armenians, Greeks of Asia minor, Assyrian Christians etc as there are nil left in the former Ottoman empire.
jiohn spielman says
I don’t want to sound like I am in favor of “ethnic cleasning” because I am not,but it is obvious that there was NO MASS MURDER of “Palestinians” in 1948 (as there was to the Jews 1939-1945 or the Armenians Greeks and Assyraians in WW1.) Many Arab muslims left voluntarirly while some stayed in Israel. Those that stayed have propspered as Israeli citizens whle those who left have remained stateless,in refugee camps abandoned by their Syria, Jordan and Egypt!
bill says
It is important to remember that they left voluntarily (many took their keys with them) because the Arab countries promised that they would quickly be able to return when the said Arab countries wiped out Israel, as they tried to do on more than one occasion.
The Arab countries were responsible for this and the following decades of
attacks on Israel. If they had negotiated a settlement with Israel , the two state solution could have been in place long ago.

>> How is the situation of the “Palestinians” not like that of the Jews during the Holocaust?
You did not mention the most important three differences: (i) Jews in the concentration camps were being exterminated, and the Palestinians are not. (ii)Jews in the concentration camps were imprisoned, and the Palestinians are not. (iii) Jews got into the concentration camps by being peaceful civilians rounded up by Germans because they were Jews, while Palestinians got where they are by repeatedly starting wars against Israel, losing them, and repeatedly refusing to enter into peace agreements.

Netherlands: Muslim group sets “Palestinian Holocaust” event on memorial day for victims of Nazism
………………………..
Damn ghouls—they want to glom onto sympathy for the victims of the *real* Holocaust.
And, of course, it gets worse: they are falsely accusing the children of the victims of being the ‘new Nazis’.
And perhaps even more perversely, pious Muslims have made it abundantly clear that they *want to finish the job* of the Holocaust.
“Palestinians” taunt with chanting “Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the gas!”, and one of the very few Infidels that Muslims respect is the genocidal Adolph Hitler.
Really, this whole spectacle could not be more grotesque. I hope that modern Germans will reject this false equivalence—but in the mad climate of Europe today, I’m not counting on it…

There’s a phrase in Arabic, “Tamaskan, Tatamakan” = Show a victim’s face, and you will take over”.
Here’s what it means: Act the victim, and then after a while, you’ll take over the other person. I pretend that I’m in a bad situation and I’m suffering. You have pity on me and when the money comes, I destroy you.
That’s part of Arab culture. It’s an Arab phrase. It’s well known in Arabic. The Islamic culture practices this principle by heart.
It’s taqiyya at work. It’s jihad. Westerners are being duped. Western politicians who should protect us from the supremacists are pretending not to understand. Our very politicians are supremacist-enablers.

The Palestinians who have defined victimization to a fine art, cannot stand that the Jews will always be bigger victims. This is why the Palestinians yearn for a holocaust of their own.

For any of our newer readers and posters – I am thinking of people like “Curious Teenager” who are still reading and learning – here is one of the *definitive* articles about the so-called “Palestinians”, that is, the local Arabs, mostly Muslim, living in and around what became the reborn Jewish state of Israel.
It is an article – published in 1961, six years before the “Six Day War” – by the American journalist Martha Gellhorn, who had previously covered the liberation of Europe, and who had visited newly-opened death camps. She *knew* what survivors of genocide look like, how they behave. She did not find anyone like that among the Arabs – mostly Muslim – that she interviewed in Gaza (then run by Muslim Egypt), in Lebanon, in Jordan and in the part of Jerusalem that was then controlled by Muslim Jordan. She also saw how Arabs – Christian and Muslim – were faring within Israel proper; namely, healthy and well-housed.

Read it, it’s very illuminating.
One of the key passages is an exchange between Gellhorn and an Arab dhimmi – or Islamochristian – schoolteacher, within Israel.
“Please bear with me and help me,” said I [Gellhorn].
“I am a simple American, and I am trying to understand how the Arab mind works, and I am finding it very difficult. I want to put some things in order; if I have everything wrong, you will correct me.
” In 1947, the United Nations recommended the Partition of Palestine. I have seen the Partition map and studied it. I cannot tell, but it does not look to me as if the Arabs were being cheated of their share of good land.
” The idea was that this division would work, if both Jews and Arabs accepted it and lived under an Economic Union. And, of course, the Arab countries around the borders would have to be peaceful and cooperative or else nothing would work at all.
“The Jews accepted this Partition plan; I suppose because they felt they had to. They were outnumbered about two to one inside the country, and there were the neighboring Arab states with five regular armies and forty million or more citizens, not feeling friendly. Are we agreed so far?”
“It is right.”
“The Arab governments and the Palestinian Arabs rejected Partition absolutely.
“You wanted the whole country. There is no secret about this. The statements of the Arab representatives, in the UN are on record. The Arab governments never hid the fact that they started the war against Israel.
“But you, the Palestinian Arabs, agreed to this, you wanted it.
“And you thought, it seems to me very reasonably, that you would win and win quickly. It hardly seemed a gamble; it seemed a sure bet. You took the gamble and you lost. I can understand why you have all been searching for explanations of that defeat ever since, because it does seem incredible. I don’t happen to accept your explanations, but that is beside the point. The point is that you lost.”
“Yes.” It was too astonishing; at long last, East and West were in accord on the meaning of words.
“Now you say that you want to return to the past; you want Partition.
“So, in fact you say, let us forget that war we started, and the defeat, and, after all, we think Partition is a good, sensible idea. Please answer me this, which is what I must, know.
“**If the position were reversed, if the Jews had started the war and lost it, if you had won the war, would you now accept Partition? Would you give up part of the country and allow the 650,000 Jewish residents of Palestine -who had fled from the war–to come back?”** [my emphasis – dda}.
“Certainly not,” he said, without an instant’s hesitation. “But there would have been no Jewish refugees. They had no place to go. They would all be dead or in the sea.”
‘He had given me the missing clue.
‘The fancy word we use nowadays is “empathy”–entering into the emotions of others. I had appreciated and admired individual refugees but realized I had felt no blanket empathy for the Palestinian refugees, and finally I knew why–owing to this nice, gray-haired schoolteacher.
‘It is hard to sorrow for those who only sorrow over themselves. It is difficult to pity the pitiless.
‘To wring the heart past all doubt, those who cry aloud for justice must be innocent.
‘They cannot have wished for a victorious rewarding war, blame everyone else for their defeat, and remain guiltless.
‘Some of them may be unfortunate human beings, and civilization would collapse (as it notoriously did in Nazi Germany) if most people did not naturally move to help their hurt fellow men.
‘But a profound difference exists between victims of misfortune (there, but for the grace of God, go I) and victims of injustice. My empathy knew where it stood, thanks to the schoolteacher..”. END QUOTE.

And something else, from American undercover and investigative journalist John Roy Carlson, in his book “Cairo to Damascus” (1951).
Carlson was personally in the thick of things during the 1948 war; mostly undercover on the Arab Muslim side, posing as a pro-Muslim Nazi sympathiser.
From the text proper, p.p 234-235 of the 1951 hardback edition:
‘Some fifty thousand Arabs had fled Jaffa’.
CARLSON’S NOTE: ”This flight-psychosis, which prevailed among the Arabs and ultimately resulted in the frantic exodus of many Moslems and Christians, is a difficult phenomenon to explain.
“It was a mass hysteria induced by poor morale *and by fear of revenge and retributiion for the Arab massacres and lootings from 1920 on* {my emphasis added – dda}.
“Arab leaders – particularly in the Mufti’s Higher Committee – urged residents to clear the fighting areas, promising them that Palestine would be cleared of Jews within thirty days after the Mandate ended. After the Jews had been pushed into the sea, Arab leaders said, Palestinians could return to their homes and at the same time share in Jewish booty. *They implied that those who refused to leave were pro-Zionist; such people were threatened with retribution.* {my emphasis added – dda}
“In contrast, I [Carlson] know of instances where the Jews begged the Arabs, particularly the Christian elements, to remain, guaranteeing their safety and full respect for property.
“These Christians, however, joined the fleeing Moslems, *fearing the promised retribution following the promised Arab victory* {my emphasis added – dda}.
“As an instance, the Armenians, who had always got along well with Arab and Jew alike, joined the panicky Moslems, *horror-stricken by the memory of the Turkish massacres* {my emphasis added – dda}.
“Wealthy merchants, physicians, bankers, politicians and other leaders were the first to leave. Later came the poorer elements until, by the time the Mandate expired, those remaining were largely only the ill and the aged, *the looters*, and the innocents.
“The exodus figure of 750 000 or more Arabs is sheer propaganda, a fictional number that cannot be supported by the facts. The populace in the country from Jerusalem north to Jericho was not disturbed by the fighting, nor were the Arabs and Christians resident in the congested areas within the quadrangle formed by Ramallah, Tulkarm, Jenin, and Nablus – Palestinian territory now annexed by Jordan.
“It must also be pointed out that many of the Moslem so-called refugees were homeless, nomadic wanderers in the first place. *Poor, nonrefugee Arabs, such as those in Gaza {NOTA BENE – dda}, have claimed refugee status in order to qualify for American aid* {my emphasis added – dda}.”
END QUOTE FROM CARLSON
dumbledoresarmy says
And a further item, also from Carlson.
It shows that during that 1948 war waged by the Muslims against the nascent Jewish state of Israel, it was the *Muslims* who behaved like Nazis, who committed and delighted in atrocities.
*Jews* did not circulate and gloat over photographs of the bodies of obscenely-naked enemy dead; but the *Muslims* did (and do).
It is not the victims but the perpetrators of atrocities who take and keep “trophies”.
Carlson is silent about whether those bodies had been mutilated by the Muslim killers, whether before or after death; but given what we know about the Muslim modus operandi elsewhere, both then and now and throughout history, it is probable that these bodies had been mutilated in various ways, including by such practices as cutting off of women’s breasts and men’s and women’s genital organs.
this passage from chapter 9 ‘the holy city’, of Carlson’s “From Cairo to Damascus”, describing what happened immediately after the ‘Battle of the Roads’ between a Haganah force and an Arab Muslim force, as the Haganah force were returning from supplying Gush Etzion. In that battle twelve Jews and 138 Muslims were killed.
Here is Carlson’s account of the aftermath.
“The next day on sale everywhere in the Holy City were gruesome photographs of the battle: the burnt and mutilated bodies of Haganah men, *which for some perverse Arab reason, had been stripped of clothing and photographed in the nude* {my emphasis added – dda}.
“These naked shots hit ‘Holy’ City markets afresh *after every battle* {my emphasis added – dda}, and sold rapidly.
“Arabs carried them in their wallets and displayed them frequently, getting the same weird subnormal ‘kick’ that our perverts derive from nude photographs of women.” END QUOTE.
Oh, the pooor “palestinians”, those sweet, innocent little lambs – creating, exchanging, selling and drooling over ‘dirty postcard’ photographs of dead, burned, mutilated (probably castrated, disembowelled, etc)…Jews.
That was the 1948 equivalent of the beheading videos of today.
Earlier in the book, Carlson describes a bone-chilling conversation with a fanatical Arab Muslim who proclaimed that he (the Muslim) was going to slit a Jew’s throat and drink the warm blood as it ran from the body…he (this Muslim jihad / ghazi “warrior”) wanted Carlson to promise that he (Carlson) would *photograph* him (the Muslim) as he did so.
Carlson bears witness, too, that the Muslims did indeed speak of driving the Jews into the sea, or of killing them all and throwing their bodies into the sea. When he was with a bunch of Muslims in Gaza, at the beach, they told him that the sea was going to be black with the bodies of Jews.
So when an Arab – Christian, and alas, deeply dhimmified and Jew-hating – schoolteacher told Gellhorn that had the Arabs won in 1948, the Jews would all be “dead or in the sea”, he was saying exactly what Carlson had with his own ears heard Arab Muslim jihadis saying they were going to do, at the time.

And another useful little article about those Arabs – mostly Muslim – who left mandatory Palestine around the time of the jihad against nascent Israel.

Efraim Karsh: Why The Arabs Left
Reclaiming a historical truth
by Efraim Karsh Haaretz June 10, 2011
“…The deliberate depopulation of Arab villages too, and their transformation into military strongholds was a hallmark of the Arab campaign from the onset of hostilities…”.
