I am a frequent guest on Peter Boyles’s KNUS show, the premier talk show in Denver. Yesterday, Chuck Bonniwell was in for Peter, and we had a wide-ranging discussion talking on a variety of issues.
Then yesterday afternoon I was on Issues, Etc., talking about David Cameron’s call for an investigation of the Muslim Brotherhood in the UK. You can listen here.
Then in the evening I was on Chris Barry’s FM104 Phoneshow in Ireland, discussing the recent incident in which an Irish judge, Anthony Halpin, first noted that Muslims believe they can beat their wives and then retracted his statement and apologized. The discussion centered on whether or not the Qur’an actually tells Muslims to beat disobedient women (it does, at 4:34), and whether or not Halpin should accordingly have apologized. I was on with two Muslim spokesmen in Ireland who gave a textbook example of disingenuousness, diversionary tactics, and denouncing of the messenger rather than dealing with the message. They repeatedly avoided direct questions and frequently gave deceptive and dishonest answers about the teaching of the Qur’an and Islam. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look as if Barry is going to post a podcast. If anyone by any chance recorded the show, please contact me at director[at]jihadwatch.org.

Maybe you could discuss some Catholic terrorism?

Where did you find that these “terrorists” are Catholics? Did they identify themselves in any way as Catholics? Did they quote the Pope or from some Papal encyclical in order to justify their actions? I don’t see any mention of Catholics or Catholicism at all in the news article of your link.

The Troubles were about the British presence in Northern Ireland.
Religion only came into peripherally, in that the IRA, who wanted the British out, were predominantly Catholic, and the UDF, who wanted Northern Ireland to remain under Britain, were predominantly Protestant.

You muslims have no better arguments? Nothing mentions the Venetians do terrorist acts in the name of Christianity. In contrast, islam commands terror against the unbelievers.
Muslims and islam are bigoted, hypocritical, backward and will not survive progress and modern times. Bummer.

What Catholic terrorism? What is the scriptural or canon law basis for a ‘Catholic terrorism’? What? None? Contradicts the Golden Rule? Oh.
Ibn Muslim, are your parents and grandparents first cousins?

@ ibn Muslim
Nonsense.
Show me where Catholicism in particular or Christianity in general has any open-ended commands for Jews or Christians to commit violence against anyone.
And then show me where Jews or Christians are committing such acts on a regular basis, all over the world, in obedience to those commands.
Either show me your evidence, or apologize for your vile slander against Catholics.
Which will it be?
