11 jihadists arrested on suspicion of involvement in disappearance of MH370

May 3, 2014 6:44 pm By Robert Spencer

malaysia-planeUPDATE 8:31AM May 4: Malaysia’s Inspector-General of Police says the arrests of these eleven jihadis were not related to the disappearance of the plane. The Malaysian government has behaved so oddly in this whole affair, so closemouthed and contradictory, that it is impossible to know what is true at this point.

———-

Maybe these arrests will lead to the discovery of the plane, and to the revelation of what really happened when it disappeared. Note also the unexplained cargo — it would seem likely that whatever was in there was tied to the plane’s disappearance, and may be involved in its reappearance if it is somewhere being prepared to play a part in a future jihad attack.

“Eleven terrorists with links to Al Qaeda have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the disappearance of MH370,” Daily Mail, May 3, 2014 (thanks to Pamela Geller):

A group of 11 terrorists with links to Al Qaeda were yesterday being interrogated on whether they are behind the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

The suspects were arrested in the capital Kuala Lumpur and in the state of Kedah last week and are members of a violent new terror group said to be planning bomb attacks in Muslim countries.

The interrogations come after international investigators, including the FBI and MI6, asked for the militants, whose ages range from 22 to 55 and include students, odd-job workers, a young widow and business professionals, to be questioned intensively about Flight MH370.

Nearly two months after the Beijing-bound plane vanished soon after take-off from Kuala Lumpur, no trace has been found despite a huge sea search costing hundreds of millions of pounds. It is thought to have crashed into the Indian Ocean with 239 people on board.

An officer with the Counter Terrorism Division of Malaysian Special Branch said yesterday the arrests had heightened suspicion that the flight’s disappearance may have been an act of terrorism.

‘The possibility that the plane was diverted by militants is still high on the list and international investigators have asked for a comprehensive report on this new terror group,’ the officer said.

In interviews conducted so far, some suspects have admitted planning ‘sustained terror campaigns’ in Malaysia but denied being involved in the disappearance of the airliner, he added.

Osama Bin Laden’s son-in-law, Saajid Badat, a British-born Muslim from Gloucester, said he had been instructed at a terrorist training camp in Afghanistan to give a shoe bomb to the Malaysians.

He said: ‘I gave one of my shoes to the Malaysians. I think it was to access the cockpit.’

Badat, who spoke via video link and is in hiding in the UK, told the New York court the Malaysian plot was being masterminded by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the principal architect of 9/11.

A mystery surrounding the cargo being carried by the missing Malaysian Airlines plane emerged on Friday when it was discovered that it had been loaded with items not specified on the manifest.

The aircraft was carrying 4.566 tonnes of mangosteens – an exotic fruit – and a shipment of lithium batteries, which were part of a separate consignment.

The batteries weighed 200kg, but that separate consignment totalled 2.453 tonnes. So what was being carried to make up the 2.253 tonnes in that separate shipment?

Questions have been raised as Malaysia Airlines said it will close assistance centres in Beijing and Kuala Lumpur for the families of the 239 passengers and crew on board the Boeing 777-200ER jet….

Was Malaysia Airlines having a code shareing agreement with Al Qaeda Airways?

Would you be comfortable with flying as a passanger in or out or through an Islamic State?

Or in an Islamic controlled Airline?

    Or having and Islamic Crew?

Would it be a symptom of Islamophobia to fear that some Muslim, anywhere, hitherto onoffensive, would one day without warning suddenly take more seriously what the religion of hate was preaching for the previous more than 1400 years?

Anything is possible in malaysia so long as actions and efforts serve the purpose of the ruling party. In past investigations on members of the ruling party, witnesses have disappeared along with evidence. Torture is not torture if the public does not know about it.

Who would want to visit a country like Malaysia? Malaysia does not use in its airports the Interpol database. In flight 370 two men boarded the plain having used stolen passports to Italian citizens a year ago and Malaysian authorities never detected the irregular situation because they do not use the database.

I agree and it is generally a good idea for non-Muslims to not visit Muslim countries. Muslims around the world are engaged in a war against the infidels, so let us stay out of Muslim countries, and not allow the immigration of Muslims into Western nations. Every Muslim immigrant is a potential jihadist or a funder of jihad.

        Re:
“Every Muslim immigrant is a potential jihadist or a funder of jihad.”

That is not paranoia. That is a realistic assessment of the potential associated with Muslims’ infiltration, subversion and a long pause perhaps, prior to responding to a call for action.
Does anyone remember the Cold War?….probably not; but this was classic Soviet tactics and strategy then.
Google Soviet penetration during the 1930’s in America and elsewhere. Alger Hiss in the State Department….for starters.
Our Muslim enemy is biding its time……it’s only a short while since Tours/Poitiers/Vienna in their mindset.
Now, look at Paristan, Londonistan, and Dearbornistan, and Northern Virginia-istan.

And, they have United States “citizenship” and ostentatiously display United States Passports…..and, are daring our Government to monitor them, as they have the A.C.L.U. on speed-dial.

We’re in a helluva mess right now. But, and an enormous but, is that too many Americans can’t be bothered.

When you rely on tabloids like the Daily Mail don’t blame others for getting humiliated when your “news” turns out to be wrong.

The arrested terrorist suspects are NOT connceted to MH370. They were arrested on other charges. The terrorist probe on MH370 is SEPARATE from the arrests. All other news agencies are reporting this, only the Daily Mail is claiming they are connected.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian police have arrested an 11th suspect in an operation to break up Islamic terror groups posing as humanitarian organisations, an official said on Saturday.

Police arrested 10 Malaysians earlier in the week during raids in and around the capital Kuala Lumpur and the northern state of Kedah before a man attempting to flee the country was detained on Thursday, said a Home Ministry official.

“Our biggest worry is organisations using humanitarian missions as the basis to train militants,” said Home Minister Zahid Hamidi as cited by Malay-language daily Berita Harian in comments confirmed by the official.

Hamidi said these groups claimed to be on a “jihad (holy war)”, according to the newspaper Utusan Malaysia.

The Malay-language publication also reported that police are still tracing a number of other suspects in ongoing investigations.

Malaysia practises moderate Islam and has not seen any notable terror attacks in recent memory, but concern has risen in the multi-faith nation over perceived Islamisation.

The Southeast Asian country has been home to several suspected key figures in militant Islamic groups, such as the al-Qaeda-linked Jemaah Islamiyah blamed for the deadly 2002 Bali bombings.

Police have said they are also probing terrorism as one possible reason for the March 8 disappearance of Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.

A source familiar with the arrests told AFP on Monday that those detained were not linked to Jemaah Islamiyah or the disappearance of the jet.

The plane, carrying 239 people, is believed to have crashed into the southern Indian Ocean, but no sign of wreckage has been found despite weeks of search efforts.

The reason why the disappearance of MH370 has been linked to islamic jihad terrorists is not surprising at all given the fact that jihadists with Chinese nationality, most of whom are uyghurs, have made Southeast Asian and south provinces of Thailand in particular, as the new hub of their islamic “hijrah”.

And pissing off the Malaysian government, first of all by trashing its property (the airplane) and damaging the reputation of Malaysia airlines and humiliating the Malaysian government, causing billions of dollars worth of loss to Malaysia plus the dead ethnic Malay crew and Malay passengers, is a goal of Uyghur terrorists?

The local southeast asian terrorist group which Malaysia and Indonesia have problems with is Jemaah Islamiyah and it has nothing to do with the Uyghurs. It has no known Uyghur members, all its members are Malays or Indonesians. Those arrested by the Malaysian government were members of that group.

You have no proof that they are training in South Thailand. The Uyghur ETIM’s base is in North Waziristan where they have their training camps and are allied to TTP, they don’t have any bases in Thailand and there is plenty of terrorists in Wazirstan who train them.

They are not being trained by South Thailand separatists, they are taken by human trafficking gangs along with the Rohingya in exchange for ransom payments, their goal is to seek asylum in Turkey or western countries, which is why they claim to be Turkish and demand to see the Turkish consular officials when reaching Thailand.

      • dual space says

        May 3, 2014 at 11:54 pm

I have to clarify that the majority of the passengers on the plane are ethnic Chinese, so if we ASSUME that it is a terrorist attack, the malaysian muslim crew members would be treated as collateral damage and that won’t pose any difficulty to the jihadists.

Also malaysia and indonesia do not have problem with the muslim separatists in southern provinces of Thailand and I’m not saying that the uyghurs are trained by theJemaah Islamiyah. Don’t try to confuse people with two distinct jihadist groups.

Like the majority of the muslim population, uyghurs are hardcore LAIRS. They claim to be a persecuted minority and being taken by human trafficking gangs but instead they are armed to the teeth and violent thugs themselves. This is exactly why we have the recent news that they killed two vietnamese policemen on the border.

First of all Malaysia doesn’t give a damn about Malays in other countries. They only care about their own Malay population. If any Malaysian officials are involved in the South Thailand insurgency, is because they profit from the criminal activity done by the separatists gangs like drug trafficking or human trafficking, and not because of shared ideology.

Secondly local Malay Islamists like Jemaah Islamiyah don’t target any foreign nation in particular, in fact, most of the time they target their OWN country. The reason why Malaysia classifies Jemaah Islamiyah as a terrorist group and fights them is because THEY ATTACK MALAYSIA.

If any local Malaysian terrorist group targeted MH370, they did NOT do it because it had alot of Chinese nationals on board, they did it because they wanted to attack Malaysia Airlines and send a message to their own government.

Malaysia has deported Uyghurs back to China when China requested them to be sent back.

Indonesia does not even border South Thailand and does not care about the insurgency. Indonesia is not an Islamic state.

Still remember the machet jihad attack on Kunming train station on March 1st? The reason why uyghurs carried out the attack in Kunming was because they planned to go to Southeast Asia but were prevented from leaving the country. So they targeted Yunnan, a province sharing long borders with several Southeast Asian countries.

After this attack, China strengthened its border control and with the help from the local militias in Northern Burma, detained and deported as many as 1400 uyghurs back to Xinjiang in two weeks. From some local officials it is stated that in those terrorist training camps in South Thailand, uyghurs trainees have been there for a long time. Most of them choose to return to Xinjiang by sea and then across the border between China and pakistan and a few have join jihad there with the local muslim militants to fight against the Thai authorities.

And he backs it up by linking to his posts where he (and/or Semeru), well, accuses other people of lying. JW and RS lied because Mazo says so, and he can prove it by linking to posts where he says they lied. The circular logic here is obvious. It’s like a breadcrumb track, except that instead of breadcrumbs it’s baseless accusations of lying.

“Actually, Pattani had long been in a tributary relationship to the Thai, along with Kedah, Kelantan, Trengganu and other Malay Muslim states. That status was also imposed as far back as the Ayyuthaya period. It was a bit analogous to how Qumul and Tibet and Sipsong Panna were handled by the QIng.”

Notice that not only it’s the article Robert’s quoting that mentions MILF, but whatever the terrorist group it’s irrelevant to Robert’s argument, if for nothing else, because they all drink from the same (islamic) sources. So, Mazo is too dumb to tell the difference between what Robert writes and what other people write. Maybe he should take ESL lessons 😉 . Tell us Mazo, what’s it like to live in a constant haze of stupidity? Also notice how he quotes himself and points to more of his own comments. LOL! Semeru is just as bad, if not worse, than you when it comes to baseless accusations! Notice that there’s nothing in Semeru’s post that disproves what Raymond wrote or the article he quoted from. In fact, notice that the article was posted by Raymond Ibrahim. There’s no mention of Robert Spencer in there, Semeru somehow seems to think that Robert had something to do with it and Mazo completes the circle-jerk by saying “Semeru busted Robert”. Once again, Mazo fails to check the source he using and it blows up on his face. I’m starting to think you and Semeru are obsessed with Robert. You see and think of him even when he’s not mentioned at all! So, how’s that hard-on for Robert treating you? 😀

          I have also pointed out

The reason Thailand annexed Pattani, is because of the Anglo Siamese Treaty in 1909. Ayutthaya (Thailand) traditionally dominated the Malay peninsula, after invading and defeating the local Malay chieftans/princs and forcing them into vassalage. One of these Malay Princes, Parameswara, converted to Islam, became Iskandar Shah, founded the Malacca Sultanate asked China for help and protection, and Ming China forced Thailand to give up its vassal and grant Malacca independence, Malacca then became a Chinese protectorate and tributary.

After the Portuguese conquered (pillaged and massacring civilians ) Malacca in 1511 (China later punished Portugal for their act), Thailand resumed its attacks on the Malays and forced the Malay Sultanates into vassalage. Again.

These Malay vassal Sultans has to acknowledge the Thai King as their lord and pay tribute. Thailand’s Malay vassal Sultanates included Pattani, Kedah, Kelantan, etc. Pattani rebelled against Thai overlordship, and Thailand responded by dividing Pattani into several vassal Sultanates.

Then the British came, turned the Malay Sultanate of Johor into a protectorate, and then forced Thailand to hand over their vassals in Kedah and Kelantan to British Malaya. That was what the Anglo Siamese Treaty in 1909 was about.

The Thai then directly annexed Pattani as a province, abolishing its vassal state status, in order to prevent the British from taking Pattani too.

So you see, the reason Pattani is in Thailand, is because the Thai wanted to keep the British out, not because the Malays launched a sneak attack in 1909 while Thailand was fighting Burma, which I’ve seen you guys claim.

Apparently, you were unaware Burma was under British rule in 1909, or were pulling garbage out of thin air.

Kepha’s post is in full agreement with mine

Actually, Pattani had long been in a tributary relationship to the Thai, along with Kedah, Kelantan, Trengganu and other Malay Muslim states. That status was also imposed as far back as the Ayyuthaya period. It was a bit analogous to how Qumul and Tibet and Sipsong Panna were handled by the QIng.

Kepha agreed with what Insaid about Thailand’s history here again.

“and in no way did Kepha defend Spencer’s blatant lie that Thailand annexed Pattani during a war with Burma.”

Care to point out exactly where Robert says that? I mean, point to the exact article where you claim Robert says that instead of quote yourself quoting yourself or link to posts of you linking to your posts. Because i wouldn’t be surprised if it were another instance of you lacking comprehension or if you’re outright lying and trying to hide it by quoting yourself instead of pointing to the offensive post…

“Kepha’s post is in full agreement with mine”

First it “largely agreees”, then it’s in full agreement! Mazo is in full spin mode! Clearly, consistency is not his forte…

“Spencer blatantly lied. Period. He claimed Thailand annexed Pattani during a war with Burma.”

Once again, care to point out exactly where Robert says that? I mean, point to the exact article where you claim Robert says that instead of quote yourself quoting yourself or link to posts of you linking to your posts. Because i wouldn’t be surprised if it were another instance of you lacking comprehension or if you’re outright lying and trying to hide it by quoting yourself instead of pointing to the offensive post…

“Robert Spencer did not just quote the article, he was the author of that article in FrontPage magazine.”

Oh, wow, i really, really need to take it slow with you, don’t i? Do i really need to explain you everything? Take a look at the articles Robert linked to. One mentions the MILF, the other mentions the MNLF but it was updated 7 times, so it’s impossible to know what it said when Robert first mentioned it it. In any case, that doesn’t disprove what Robert says regarding the group that Senator Leland Yee named:

“Yee boasted that he had “an unidentified Filipino associate who was supplying ‘heavy’ weapons to rebel groups in the Philippines.” The Senator explained that “Mindanao was largely populated by Muslim rebel groups who were fighting the federal government. Yee continued by saying the Muslim rebels had no problem ‘kidnapping individuals, killing individuals, and extorting them for ransom.” When the undercover agent asked him which Muslim organization he meant, Yee answered: “M.I.L.F.”

That’s the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), the Islamic group in that wants to establish an Islamic state in the southern Philippines, and to that end last September took over four Christian towns, terrorizing the residents and murdering six, wounding 24, and murdered six more people in a restaurant bombing last summer. The MILF has been waging jihad against the Philippine government for years, and Filipino authorities appear to be weary of the whole mess and ready to give the jihadis what they want, up to and including an autonomous region in which they can impose Sharia. However, taking a cue from the “Palestinians,” the MILF keeps ratcheting up its demands, stymieing peace talks and keeping the central government on the defensive.”

Now, what Robert says about MILF is important, and Mazo makes no comment on that. In fact, Mazo would have us believe that, since *one* of the articles Robert quotes was updated 7 times and no longer mentions the MILF, then Robert is a liar, a bad person who only takes from the penny box and clubs baby seals to death. Now, this is the same Mazo who recently used an article from a website to attempt to make a point, however, when i linked to an article on the very same website he linked to, he laughed and tried to deem the site as “pro-indonesian” (and therefore, given the context, biased and unreliable):

Is Mazo the kind of person who should be trying to call someone else a liar, particularly given the circumstances? The only article not mentioning the MILF was updated 7 times. Seven times. That tells you how much convoluted the story was, and thre’s no evidence that the article didn’t originally mention the MILF. Sure, you can argue that mr. Spencer should have checked the site again to see if it had been changed, but that’s not the same as being a liar, is it? In fact, i’d like to know if Mazo somehow tried to contact Robert or any other JW administrator to warn they their sources could be wrong. As you can see from this very page, the original article was updated to mention that the arrests were not related to the disappearance of the plane, so mr. Spencer is not above correcting himself when and if new info shows up. In any case, i don’t see Mazo disagreeing with Robert’s general description of the MILF, so even giving Mazo one of the sources quoted by mr. Spencer his article remains unaffected: the MILF are a group wanting to establish an Islamic state in the southern Philippines, they’ve been waging jihad against the Philippine government for years, conducting terrorist attacks, and Senator Leland Yee had no problems getting into bed with them.

Don’t forget Mazo, you still have to point out the exact article where you claim Robert says that Thailand annexed Pattani during a war with Burma.

The MILF was NEVER implicated in last years restaurant bombing nor in the attack on Zamboanga, all news agencies which were coverting the Zamboanga attack 24/7 said it was the MNLF of Misuari, and Misuari-MNLF even WARNED that he was going to return to hostilities against the Philippinrs after declaring independence last year, exactly because his MNLF was AGAINST the MILF’s peace talks with the Philippine government, because the MILF and Philippine gov. froze his MNLF faction out of the deal and left them hanging.

No media article ever implicated MILF in Zamboanga’s attack, and same with the restaurant bombing, they all were clear that BIFF did it. If any media had jumped to conclusions and mistakenly wrote MILF (and this was during the negotiations between MILF and Philippine gov.) they could have seriously disrupted the negotiations and held responsible for it by the government.

FYI, Spencer’s claim is wrong for both Thailand’s original forcing Pattani into vassalage, and Thailand’s direct annexation of Pattani.

Thailand initiated both the original attack which forced Pattani and the other Malay Sultanates of Kedah and Kelantan to become vassals centuries ago, and it initiated the annexation of Pattani in 1909. Neither of the actions was provked by a Pattani attack on Siam (Thailand) during a war with Burma. Pattani tried rebelling against Thai vassalage but Thailand crushed the rebellion and divided it into several puppet vassal Sultanates.

Thailand used to have the entire Malay peninsula as its vassal states until China forced Ayutthaya (Thailand) to free the Malacca Sultanate.

doesn’t seem to be going too well for you.

If the attackers turn out not to be Uyghurs, go eat a tub of sand and never ever stick your nose into asian affairs again…”

Answer: it doesn’t. Dual Space made a comment directed at Mazo regarding that incident, i replied with a quote from Mazo falsely accusing JW of being wrong and Mazo had the knee-jerk reaction of accusing JW of lying, trying to smear me by association. Now, i pointed out that this very article *proves* that, when wrong, mr. Spencer corrects himself. I also raised the issue regarding Mazo had contacted JW to tell about what he considers to be false info. He never replied to that, and that’s no surprise to me. If Robert was in fact wrong on what he said and corrected himself Mazo could no longer accuse JW of purposely lying.

Another thing i asked is how would the alleged lies affect the articles in question. Answer: they wouldn’t. MILF is still an islamic terrorist group, Senator Yee still tried to do deals with MILF, and there was still a jihad bomb attack in Thailand. So, even if Mazo were to be right, that wouldn’t change a thing, despite him acting like mr. Spencer is the worst person in the world.

          And my questions remain unanswered:

This Angemon still hasn’t exlained what Spencer was “referring to” when he made this bullcrap claim that Pattani was “making war against Siam”.

Again. I addressed both Thailand forcing Pattani (and other Malay sultanates) into vassalage several centuries ago, and the direct annexation of Pattani in 1909. NEITHER of them took place because Pattani attacked Thailand during a war with Burma.

What happened was after Thailand launched the first unprovoked attacks and reduced the Malay Sultanates to vassalage, some of them like Pattani tried rebelling against Thai vassalage during Burmese invasions of Thailand. Pattani did not initiate hostilities or try invading Thailand, they were trying to overthrow Thai rule after the Thai attacked them FIRST.

These rebellions were unsuccesful since Thailand would just force Pattani back into vassalage again.

          http://www.jihadwatch.org/2008/01/jihadists-murder-soldiers-set-off-bomb-in-thai-market

Regarding the usual mainstream media bias in this story, Jihad Watch reader LDT sets the historical record straight: “The claim that the south of Thailand was ‘annexed by Thailand a century ago’ is WRONG.The Sultanate was destroyed during the Thai war against Burma in the mid 1700s because it had sided with the Burmese against the Siamese. By this time the Sultanate was in decline. The Siamese conquered the area and have ruled it since.

Which is a flat out lie- as I said, Pattani rebelled against Thai vassalage, and after forcing Pattani back into vassalage, Thailand punished Pattani by carving it into several smaller puppet-vassal Sultanates, until 1909 when Thailand directly annexed Pattani instead of just keeping it as vassal states, since Britain had forces Thailand to hand over their Malay vassal states of Kelantan and Kedah and Thailand did not want to hand Pattani over to Britain as well.

Thailand annexed Pattani a century ago in 1909- that is a fact- and before that, Thailand kept Pattani in a state of vassalage after THAILAND INITIATED the first attack.

China forced Thailand to free the Malacca Sultanate (the entire Malayan peninsula) from its vassalage in the 15th century, because Thailand was the one waging wars of aggresion against the Malays.

From the article: “More than 4,000 people have been killed in the last six years in the rubber-rich region bordering Malaysia, which was a Muslim sultanate until annexed in 1909 by Buddhist Thailand, which many locals say has long treated them like second-class citizens….”.

Correction: “In the past six years more than 4000 people, mostly Buddhist civilians murdered by Muslim jihadists, have been killed since Jihad restarted in the rubber-rich region bordering Malaysia. The region was a Malay Muslim sultanate until, having attacked Thailand in 1909, it was defeated and annexed. The local Muslims claim they are ‘persecuted’ by the Thais..”.

The unpleasant fact is this: the sultanate sprang a sneak attack on the Thais when they were perceived as vulnerable (quarrelling with the Burmese).

JIHAD, ISLAM, is the only reason these provinces, which were once a Malay Muslim sultanate (of course, prior to their original Islamisation by the usual methods in the late middle ages, they were culturally Hindu, Buddhist and animist), are now part of Thailand and under Thai rule in the first place.

Early in the 20th century, feeling strong enough to get away with it, and perceiving Thailand/ Siam to be weak and therefore vulnerable because it was engaged in a quarrel with the Burmese (now Myanmar), said Muslim Malay sultanate launched a sneak attack upon its Buddhist neighbour, intending to expand the territory of the Ummah by the usual methods.

Unfortunately for the Muslims they overestimated their strength and underestimated the strength of the Thais; the Thais defended themselves against the Muslim assault so successfully that a chunk of the Ummah ended up being annexed by Thailand and placed under Infidel Buddhist rule.

Which, of course, the Muslims there resident, bitterly resented. ‘Islam is to dominate, and not be dominated’.

You claim I implied that ” the region was ethnically Thai and religiously Buddhist until an early 20th century Malay Muslim invasion”.

I said NOTHING OF THE SORT.

I stated that a *Malay Muslim sultanate* (which had *become* Muslim in the middle ages, having previously been culturally Hindu, animist and Buddhist – NO mention of the *ethnicity* of the persons following those belief systems, I did NOT say that they were Thai nor did I in fact mean anyone to think that I thought they were Thai) in the early 20th century attacked its non-Muslim neighbour, Thailand.

Thailand responded; the sultanate was defeated and (with its ethnically Malay, Muslim population) came under Thai rule. That is: the Thais ended up in control of Muslim-inhabited ground that they had won in defensive warfare; ground from which a war of aggression had been launched against them.

“Kepha agreed with what I said.”

Did Kepha agree-agree or “mostly agree”agree? Because you had a hard time telling the difference before…

“Thailand annexed Pattani a century ago in 1909- that is a fact- and before that, Thailand kept Pattani in a state of vassalage after THAILAND INITIATED the first attack.”

          Once again:

“Voldemortsarmy lied here, claiming I talked about Western Myanmar/Burma. I did not ever post about Myanmar before.”

Notice how he refers to and addresses dumbledoresarmy as “Voldemort’sarmy”. It’s not the firt time he does so, not the second, and it won’t be the last. Mazo is being a Maz-ole just for the sake of being a Maz-ole. Then he goes on in a dumbledore quote-mining rampage because he needs to draw attention away from the fact that he hasn’t proved any of his claims, claims which, even f proved right, wouldn’t make any difference. MILF is still an islamic terror group, Senator Yee still tried to do business with them, and islamic terror attacks still happened in Thailand.

“Lies lies lies lies lies lies lies”

Yeah, you lie. And lie. And lie. And lie. And lie. And lie. And lie.

And the worst part is that when your lies get exposed you keep pilling lies upon lies upon lies until you can’t tell the difference between what’s true or not anymore. Tells us Mazo, are you a natural born liar or is that a product of your upbringing? JW talks about a Uighur terrorist attack in China? “JW LIES, GO EAT A TUB OF SAND!”. But did you admit your mistake when it turned out Uighurs did it? No, so you’re still saying that JW is lying about it. I talked about the genocide of East Timorese. Your reply? “YOU LIE!”. You
even quoted an article to “disprove me”, and it turned out the article you quoted said that a genocide did in fact took place. Remember that? Now, i could go on and on about the times you were caught lying (although i can’t give one example of you acknowledging you were wrong), but i believe i made my point very clear. You lie. You even lie when you’re quoting from somewhere else. No one in their right mind would ever take you seriously. Perhaps it’s time you take a good, deep look at yourself and try to start again from a clean slate.

Also, are you a muslim? Are you ethnic Han Chinese? Do you condemn Indonesia’s invasion of East Timor and the atrocities and genocide committed by Indonesia against the East Timorese? And how does any of what you said relates to you never admitting that JW didn’t jump into conclusions?

Mazo wrote, among reams of other obfuscating crap:

WRONG. It was the MNLF, Moro NATIONAL liberation front which took over the four towns, and it was the BIFF (Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters) which did the restaurant bombing. NOT the MILF, which the Philippine gov is signing a peace deal with.

I sincerely hope you learn to read before humiliating yourself like this
          …………………………..

MILF is just an offshoot of the MNLF—the idea that these are completely separate groups with completely separate aims is just absurd.

This “alphabet salad” of groups sometimes represents at least somewhat different initial focus, but sometimes even less than that.

It is more leftover from Communist “liberation” movements, and just adopted by Jihadists.

Sometimes these groups are just made up on the spot. The group that claimed responsibility for the horrific Mumbai attacks in India was “the Deccan Mujahideen”—a Jihad group no one had ever heard from before (or since, as it has turned out)—and was almost certainly just a front for the Pakistani ISI.

Mazo’s assertion that we are “humiliated” if an offshoot Jihad group claims credit for some atrocity or another is just absurd.

All of these Jihad groups have the same eventual aim.

For instance, the main initial reason that MILF broke off from MNLF was that MILF decided that they should *never* negotiate with the Philippine government—let here is MILF, pretending at least to do just that.

This plane met its fate for one of three reasons: 1) pilot error; 2) mechanical error; 3) Islamic terrorism. Anyone care to propose a fourth reason?

    1) and 2) add up to tragedy. 3) adds up to evil. Anyone care to dispute this?

    3) functions as an indictment of Islam. Anyone care to propose another reason or dispute this?

There’s another alternative to the near universal assumption that the plane “met its end”. As I wrote back in March:

“The Boeing 777 was bound for Beijing when it vanished from civilian radar. Malaysia says satellite data indicate the plane veered west about an hour after takeoff and then flew south deep into the southern Indian Ocean.”

The Maldives, a Muslim archipelago, lie in the Indian Ocean, south and west of India. They have a lovely landing strip just waiting for a plane to land:

      http://cdn.netmobius.com/images-mle/male_airport1.jpg

But we all know that two Iranians, an Uygur, a couple of Malays, and the Maldives have nothing in common…

      • voegelinian says

        May 4, 2014 at 8:53 am

I.e., either the plane was stolen to be weaponized for a future terror attack somewhere (anywhere); and/or the mysteriously missing cargo was pirated for the same reason.

Meanwhile, upon landing, the crew and passengers were of course slaughtered, and then the plane was dismantled into parts.

That’s my theory and I’m sticking with it until someone proves it false.

        • voegelinian says

          May 4, 2014 at 8:54 am

“…plane was dismantled into parts…” — only, of course, if it was only the missing cargo that was the objective.

There is one weakness with the terrorist theory, where are the claims, where is the publicity? Terrorists love to advertise their ‘accomplishments’. Claiming credit is how they get off. No terrorist group has claimed involvement.

      • voegelinian says

        May 4, 2014 at 8:58 am

My theory would explain the silence — the terror plot has only begun; the terror attack was not the destruction of plane and passengers. (See above).

        May 4, 2014 at 10:35 am

The terrorists with which we’re dealing these days and for the long, bloody future, no longer care about publicity, about having their sad story told in order to gain sympathy and achieve some political objective.

Their objective is Islamic domination of the world and they plan to get there by killing as many infidels as they can and if the press wants to report on it, fine. If not, fine. Just as long as the infidel dies.

When I did my second degree at a large university in Australia, we had a *lot* of fellow-students who were non-Muslim Malaysians (whether of Chinese or Indian ethnicity, and whether Christian, nonreligious, Hindu [in the case of the Indians] or practising traditional Chinese beliefs). And they explained to us that they were studying in Australia because, being non-Muslim, they had been shut out of Malaysian universities. Some of them also explained to us about other forms of discrimination – such as in access to housing – that are routinely practised against non-Muslims in Malaysia.

Sooner or later Islamic terrorists will get hold of several Pakistani-made atom bombs.

One or two bombs will be exploded within one or two days in carefully-selected metropolitan areas. Thereafter, negotiations for serious concessions will start while affected governments still loudly proclaim that they “will not negotiate with terrorists”.

Terms will include government-mandated da’wa (missionary/conversion programs) in the victim country and world-wide, release of terrorists, etc. John Brennan will, of course, get to keep his job.

Those who refuse to submit to the religion of Submission (ISLAM in Arabic) will be relegated to legally mandated underclass status. Western elites will warmly “welcome our new overlords”.

If one considers the pakistani ISI as being a terrorist entity, then nukes are already in terrorist hands.

Depending on where these terrorist-pak nukes go off, target nations may or may not succumb to their oppressors. If these went off in any of the five per meant security council member nation, more nukes would probably be fired. Certainly in the case of Russia and China this would be true, although China may bide her time before striking back. With the exception of India and Israel, there is not a lot the remaining non-nuke equipped countries can do when hit by nukes.

      • Angemon says

        May 4, 2014 at 2:16 pm

Pakistan is living of jizya (or “international welfare”, if you want to use the technically and politically correct term). I don’t know for sure how much of that money is lost into the pockets/bank accounts of members of Pakistani government but if terrorists get hold of a pakistani nuke i’m guessing it would affect their welfare income, so it’s in their best interest that the nukes are aimed at India but stored where no mujahideen can access them.

Although i doubt most islamic terrorist groups would use a nuke as a weapon of mass destruction. That’s Iran’s gimmick. Nuke, let’s say, NYC, and the US would turn the islamic world (all the occupied christian lands) into melted glass, and you wouldn’t hear a peep of disapproval from most americans. Same for Russia or Israel. No, if ,let’s say, al-Qaeda got its hands on a nuke i’d bet money we’d see dirty bomb attacks followed by calls to islam. Terrorize the unbelievers, being made victorious through terror, etc.

        • umbra says

          May 5, 2014 at 1:40 am

It is true that ISI and pak military would want to keep nukes away from their pets for the sake of continual welfare payments and also self preservation. One cannot downplay the importance of self preservation for the islamic elite. While they encourage the rank-and-file to make sacrifices (often with their lives), they themselves would be tucked far away in safety and comfort. That being said, neither the ISI nor the pak military are immune to infiltrations and the day may come when high level infiltrators in either/both organisations may have direct/indirect access to nukes. When that happens, their pet(s) will have the opportunity to turn on them.

Insofar as dirty bombs is concerned, it is regarded as a WMD simply because of the radioactive material released from detonation.

As for targets, if only one or two targets were to struck, then the probable outcome would the permanent disarmament of pak nukes (if pak nukes materials were used). Pak will resist, but ultimately it will lose its nukes one way or another. If dozens or more target were struck (mostly non-islamic targets), then it will be ww3. At this point, anything could happen.

You are far too polite with your assessment of the malaysian police forces. It is quite incompetent. When it does get any information (confessions, intel), it is often through brutal interrogations, coercions, bribery or any combinations thereof. Past/recent successes in extraction information were mostly from local suspects. These locals weren’t particularly difficult to crack. During the 50’s and 60’s with the communists insurgency in Malaya in full swing, it was quite difficult to break suspected and captured communist operatives and sympathisers. In those days however, the British and Australian “advisors” were quite active in conducting (running and managing) counter insurgency operations against the Malayan communist. Today, no continual and direct British or Australian efforts in any similar types of investigations except on rare occasions. The police force is probably a competent as the airforce or the civil aviation authority. The very same airforce and aviation authority the allowed a jet liner to fly though its sovereign airspace without any identification (subsequent to having the transponder being switched off and comms. blackout), visual or otherwise.
