Our pro-Israel bus ad is up and running in Washington, D.C., and the mainstream media is howling — which means we’re hitting the target. Most of the coverage has been about how dare we put a photo of Adolf Hitler on buses — as if that were the point of the ad, but of course what they’re really doing is trying to deflect attention away from what the ad actually says. And of course, cynical Islamic supremacists such as the execrable Qasim Rashid are actually implying that the ads are pro-Hitler. (He published a cravenly deceptive piece in Time Magazine claiming that Islamic Jew-hatred is not in the Qur’an; we’ll be replying soon).
Pamela Geller, my colleague and the creator of the ads, has several posts about the media coverage, and the lengths to which a clearly frightened media is going to defame us and obscure our message:
When you’re getting flak, you’re over the target. We want to roll these ads out nationwide. Please help us: only 62 hours left on our crowdfunding campaign to get more of these ads up.
