Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Qur’an will be heard at the Vatican

Jun 8, 2014 1:42 pm By Robert Spencer

Pope Francis speaks in front of a replica of the Grotto of Lourdes to celebrate the end of May at the VaticanWhen will there be Christian prayers and readings from the New Testament at the Grand Mosque in Mecca?

Will the Qur’an readings at the Vatican feature these verses?

Christians have forgotten part of the divine revelations they received: “From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a covenant, but they forgot a good part of the message that was sent them: so we estranged them, with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the day of judgment. And soon will Allah show them what it is they have done.” — Qur’an 5:14

Jesus is not the Son of God: “O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not “Three” – Cease! (it is) better for you! – Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.” — Qur’an 4:171

“It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, ‘Be,’ and it is.” — Qur’an 19:35

Those who believe that Jesus is God’s Son are accursed: “The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! ” — Qur’an 9:30

Jesus was not crucified: “And because of their saying: We slew the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Allah’s messenger – they slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so unto them; and lo! those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture; they slew him not for certain.” — Qur’an 4:157

“Islamic prayers to be held at the Vatican,” Al Arabiya, June 6, 2014

For the first time in history, Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran will be heard at the Vatican on Sunday, in a move by Pope Francis to usher in peace between Israelis and Palestinians.

Francis issued the invitation to Israeli President Shimon Peres and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas during his visit last week to Jordan, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority.

Abbas, Peres, and Francis will be joined by Jewish, Christian and Islamic religious leaders, a statement released by Peres’s spokesperson said, according to the Times of Israel.

Holy See officials on Friday said the evening prayers would be a “pause in politics” and had no political aim other than to rekindle the desire for Israeli-Palestinian peace at the political and popular level, according to the Associated Press.

Low expectations

The Vatican will broadcast a live feed of the event to viewers across the world.

However, expectations for the event should be kept low, according to Rev. Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the custodian of Catholic Church property in the Holy Land.

[No-one should think] “peace will suddenly break out on Monday, or that peace is any closer,” AP reported him as saying.

On Friday, the Pope met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and discussed ways of promoting peace and stability in Asia the Vatican said in a statement.

    Islamic prayer recited at the White House, and now the Vatican. If ardent Islamizers think that their black flags will fly there next, they’re ultimately in for grievous disappontment; this is the end of the beginning, not the beginning of the end for free men and women of the West. Deus vult!

      ————

      So true
      Islamists can play nice when it is to their benefit, but the nastiness of their shameless sense of entitlement always oozes out at the first opportunity.
      Soon they will demand Islamic prayer at the Vatican.

        Hi, JB — and speaking of “black flags will fly there next,” did anyone notice the black/white head scarf that islamizer Bob Berdahl wore in a more recent appearance on Fox? It looked like Arabic in white against black. Now what does that remind me of…?

          @bettina
          John C. Barile first brought up the great comment “black flags will fly there next,”
          I missed that black/white head scarf thing. I also missed the apparent fact that his son had already been freed when he made his compassionate Allah comment. I at first assume he was only saying that because his son was still in captivity.

          Islam is creeping in the White house and inveigling itself at the Vatican too.

          *Very* disturbing.

      Christian theology, the Holy Spirit descent upon the apostles – on Pentecost.

      Islamic theology, mohammad came instead.

      Now, mohammad’s gibberish recantations will be confirmed on Vatican grounds by the pontiff (and his handlers) to challenge the Holy Spirit.

      Rome is the only See left, of the five major Sees (Antioch, Constantinople, Alexandria and Jerusalem), that is not crawling with ROP types or under their control (Jerusalem is physically under Israeli control, but politically under islamic control).

        • Kepha says

          Jun 9, 2014 at 4:38 am

          This all goes to prove that your Muslim friends can’t read.

          What I say below is drawn from the KJV, but with an eye on the Greek:

          The Gospel of John is full of the Holy Spirit. The Baptist declares that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Spirit right after the Spirit himself descends on Jesus (Jn. 1:32-33). Jesus tells a Samaritan woman that the true believers worship in Spirit and Truth (Jn. 4:23–and I take “Spirit” here to be the Spirit of God rather than “from the heart” due to the flow of the Gospel). Jesus promises as well that living water, identified as the Holy Spirit, shall flow from believers (Jn. 738-39).

          In the Upper Room Discourse (chs. 13-16), from which Muslims wrest their “prooftext”, the Comforter (the meaning of Parakletos) is identified as the Holy Spirit three times (14:15-17; 14:26; and 15:26).

          Finally, what does Jesus do after he rises from the dead? He breathes on his disciples, saying, “receive the Holy Spirit” (Jn. 20:22).

          The promise of the Holy Spirit given in the narrative of John the Baptist is common to all 4 Gospels; whereas John’s description of the giving of the HS probably refers specifically to the Apostles, the descent of the Spirit on Pentecost described in Acts 2 is the Spirit’s descent on the whole church (about 120 persons at that time).

          BTW, the link to Answering Islam is a good one.

          Further, Muslims accuse the Christians (and Jews) of falsifying the Scriptures. Yet they have never satisfactory explained why I can find the passages cited above in New Testaments published by virtually every sect in Christendom, and find volumes of commentary on them from the same.

        • gravenimage says

          Jun 9, 2014 at 5:10 pm

          As you well know, Kepha, Muslims claim that Jews and Christians “altered” their scripture—before this, supposedly, they were in full agreement with the vile Qur’an.

          Jun 10, 2014 at 11:48 pm

          Your Muslim friends? Quran Sura 5:51 says “…Make not friends and protectors of Christians and Jews…” and the Quran is supposed to be their allah god’s revelation to their false prophet Muhammad via the Angel Gabriel…again supposed Angel Gabriel. The cult is based on lies and advanced by the sword. It’s really pathetic that Muhammad said the Bible was corrupted but then tries to use the Bible in a deceitful way. Jesus said in the Gospel of John 8:44 that Satan is the father of all lies.

      You know what God teaches us in Scripture. I quote from “The New American Bible” Sponsored by The Bishops’ Committee of the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine. I quote 2 Corinthians 6:14ff “Do not yoke yourselves in a mismatch with unbelievers. After all what do righteousness and lawlessness have in common, or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What accord is there between Christ and Belial, what common lot between believer and unbeliever? Tell me what agreement there is between the temple of God and idols. You are the temple of the living God, just as God has said: ‘I will dwell with them and walk among them. I will be their God and they shall be my people. Therefore, ‘Come out from among them and separate yourselves from them’ says the Lord; . . . etc

      Islam represents darkness and unbelief and Belial, the devil and evil. God tells us to “come out from among them” and not join them in prayer and thus give the impression to the world that Islam amounts to anything. I believe that no other pope in history would have done what Pope Francis has dared to do. And I dare say: Shame, shame on you Pope Francis!

        The only true God is God the Father, Hi s Son Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. Everyone will know that one day. It’s the truth. And one of the beautiful things about being a Christian is that Jesus never told his followers to kill someone in order to go to heaven or for Him. It’s better to get oneself right with the Almighty before you die, because once you’re dead, there are no do-overs.

    Is the Pope a JW
    No, I don’t mean Jihad Watcher but a practicing Jehovah’s Witness.
    Most traditional Christians accept the divinity of Jesus Christ, whether a Catholic or Southern Baptist but Jehovah Witnesses like Muslims don’t.
    A Jehovah’s Witness tag team offer me their pamphlet last week
    Hold on to your seats I am about to write something controversial.
    The pamphlet showed four examples of people praying and in one example was the often seen Muslim style of praying with palms up, so I was curious as to their beliefs and looked them up.
    Jehovah Witnesses have some things in common with other Christians but like Muslims:
    They don’t accept the Trinity and the Divinity of Jesus Christ
    They deny the Crucifixion
    They have a list of rules to EARN salvation
    They refuse to say the Pledge of Allegiance
    They refuse to defend their country (Coincidentally after the Vietnam War ended many JW converts left)

      Moreover, respected Jihad Watch poster j_not_a is a Jehovah’s Witness—her username is a reference to ‘Jehovah, not Allah’—and she is about as committed an Anti-Jihadist as you will find.

        @gravenimage
        I believe you when you say “Jehovah’s Witnesses are entirely peaceful ” I realize that Jehovah’s Witness were against Hitler and that is good. But I also read that Jehovah’s Witness are not supposed to get involved in any politics and that would seem to include Jihad Watch. I certainly don’t expect all Jihad Watchers to be of the same religious beliefs but some of these doctrinal similarities of Jehovah’s Witnesses to Islam is a concern worth noting I believe.
        BTW, I also visited a website of a former Jehovah’s Witness.

          Jun 8, 2014 at 11:18 pm

          Thanks for replying, Jay Boo.

          I agree that from what I know of the Jehovah’s Witnesses—my best friend from grade school’s family became Jehovah’s Witness—most JW are not apt to formally join the Counter-Jihad, or any political movement.

          But I believe this is quite different from actually supporting Jihad or JW being itself similar to Islam, though.

          After all, few Amish or Quakers are apt to join, either—and they are peaceful creeds that have very little in common with Islam.

          As for j_not_a herself, I’ve never grilled her on her interpretation of JW—but she has made it clear that she is a practicing Jehovah’s Witness, and she has *certainly* demonstrated her Anti-Jihad “cred” here over the past years.

      Jun 8, 2014 at 11:43 pm

      Jay Boo –
      Sorry for my my bad grammar Jay Boo and everyone else reading!

      I just have to reply. I am a bible study Christian with no specific denomination, and what you said about Jehovahs Witnesses (JW) is not accurate my friend. I have studied their beliefs and I have two twin brothers that are my friends and they are Jehovah’s Witnesses.

      To be Christian:
      -You HAVE to accepted that Jesus died for ours sins and he rose from the dead.
      -You HAVE to accept that Jesus is the Only Son of God.
      -You HAVE to be born again by being baptized.
      -You MUST acknowledge that the HOLY BIBLE is the ONLY word of the Almighty Yahweh.

      Jehovah’s Witnesses believe ALL four of the above.

      To be a Muslim:
      you have to acknowledge that Muhammad is a prophet of God.
      Jehovah’s Witnesses DO NOT CONSIDER HIM A PROPHET. He was a murderer, rapist, loiter, pedophile and FALSE PROPHET! according to Jehovah’s Witnesses. He denies that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead, which is the central theme of Christianity(Trinitarian and Unitarian(JW)) Christians!

      – Whether you are a Unitarian Christian or Trinitarian Christian, our God told us his name: Yahweh! Muhammad’s God never tells us his God’s name in the Quran. It’s just his title “ALLAH” which just means GOD. That is NOT a name. There are so many God’s in this World how do you differentiate if your God doesn’t have a name? What i’m saying is that we CHRISTIANS DO NOT HAVE THE SAME GOD AS THE MUSLIMS.

      – MUSLIMS also like to CLAIM that all the prophets were “MUSLIMS” because it means submission to one God, which is quite comical, because there are so many monotheistic religions. Does that mean Zoroastrianism followers are Muslims because they believe in and submit to ONE God? OF COURT NOT! A religion is defined by defined by specific beliefs.

      – Jehovah’s Witnesses DO believe that Jesus(Yeshua) died for our sins and he WAS crucified. He was crucified on a Stake (stauros) – Greek Word translates as upright stake. Whether he was crucified on a stake or cross, does not matter. The point is King Yeshua died for our sins so that we may live again.

      – Jehovah’s Witnesses refuse to pledge allegiance to ANY government, because the ruler or God of this world is satan and because almighty YAHWEH and KING YESHUA are the only ones fit to rule, NOT man, they will not participate in Satan’s human governments
      .
      – They refuse to take part in any WAR because (King Yeshua’s Kingdom is not of this world and neither are his people) – Remember this verse “My Kingdom is not of this World” ? or how about turn the other cheek when someone strikes you?

      – There are Trinitarian Christians and Unitarian Christians. What unites Christians is that WE believe Yeshua died for our sins, he pre-existed, he is the only SON OF YAHWEH and the Holy Bible is the ONLY word of Almighty YAHWEH, or as Jehovah’s Witnesses call him “Jehovah”.

      THE POINT IS, Jehovah’s Witnesses are Christians and they DO NOT believe that Muhammad was a Prophet. You can ask any Jehovah’s Witnesses, they will tell you he was a FALSE PROPHET. “A wolf in sheeps clothing,” as the bible puts it.

      • Kepha says

        Jun 9, 2014 at 4:55 am

        With an attempt to be respectful to J_not_A or other Jehovah’s Witnesses:

        The Christian faith also confesses that Jesus is God Incarnate (God become man), the second person of the Trinity (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); not a secondary god (as the JWs’ New World Translation translates the phrase usually translated “And the Word was God” in John 1:1). This is also how we read Jesus’ words, “Before Abraham was, I am” (John 8:58), echoing God’s words to Moses from the burning bush. It is further found in the way Hebrews 1:10 applies Psalm 102:25-26, which is addressed to YHWH, to “the Son”.

        Further, the Witnesses deny the sufficiency of Jesus’ work for our salvation. It is necessary to belong to their organization. They deny the personality of the Holy Spirit, as if one can lie to electricity (Cf. Ac. 5:4).

        While those of us who are Reformed/Evangelical readily admit that Jehovah’s Witnesses are peaceable people and not a threat (I for one can even partially sympathize with their refusal to salute the flag: without the “under God” in the pledge, I’d have a hard time doing so, too, since man’s highest allegiance does indeed belong to God), we cannot say that we hold the same faith with them or any other Bible-oriented Unitarians.

        • Kepha says

          Jun 9, 2014 at 5:07 am

          I will further reply to Denis Garcia with some other observations.

          I’ve said before that I probably couldn’t recite the Pledge of Allegiance in good conscience if the “Under God” phrase were omitted, because I also believe that the rational creature’s ultimate loyalty must be to his Creator. Nod to the Gobaitis decision.

          Yet I see as well that Paul and Peter both told us to obey civil authority (as long as it does not bring us into conflict with God’s law). We also note that Joseph and Daniel served in the courts of pagan kings, while in the New Testament, Paul notes that the Word of God had spread to members of Caesar’s household and the Praetorian guard due to his imprisonment.

          Reformed Christians see the exercise of political power as a kind of stewardship given by God to some men for the protection of human life. We have read the Old Testament too long to fail to notice that there are times when war by the People of God is indeed justified (much as we dislike war and know nothing of a plenary indulgence or surety of Heaven for those who fall fighting even in a just war: salvation is by Christ alone). We also recognize a place for the voice of the governed (David was indeed anointed by Samuel, but he later also entered into a covenant with the elders of Israel). This is another point where we part company not only with the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but also with the traditional Anabaptists.

          And, since I have mentioned government as a stewardship, this is why we can live with a distinction between church and state, and even a degree of separation, we also believe that a government that deliberately ignores the mind of God is ultimately doomed. Hence, we are comfortable with neither radical Jacobinism nor modern totalitarianism–and I am sorry to admit that I see a meeting of these in the vision of far too many people in present-day American politics.

          Note: Sorry for grammar.
          Thanks, Interesting points you have there Kepha. I just wanted to make clear to JayBoo and anyone else that might think differently, that Jehovah’s Witnesses ARE Christians and NOT muslims as they DON’T believe Muhammad was a prophet, he was a FALSE PROPHET. They believe you have to accept that Jesus died for ours sins and he rose from the dead, that Jesus is the Only Son of God , you must be born again by being baptized, he pre-existed and you MUST acknowledge that the HOLY BIBLE is the ONLY word of the Almighty Yahweh.

          -While you might not have the same belief in the trinitarian/unitarian aspect of God, it doesn’t change the fact that you are both Christians by the 4 central beliefs i’ve stated above and in my previous posts. It’s like comparing Catholics to Protestants. You both believe in those 4 central themes.

          -I think Jehovah’s Witnesses do believe that Jesus’ dead and resurrection is sufficient, but they also believe it is the responsibility as Christians to go door to door and preach the Gospel so that “good news” will spread. Jesus went door to door preaching the gospel as they do.
          -I agree with you, I don’t think you have to join an organization to be saved. I think the purpose of them wanting you to join their organization, is so that their can be unity among Christians.

    • denisbaya says

      JayBoo-

      Your mistaken about Jehovah’s Witnesses my friend.
      -Jehovah’s Witnesses are Unitarian Christians.
      -Jehovahs’ Witnesses DO believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead. They don’t believe it was on a cross but on an upright stake as the greek manuscripts put it (stauros). What does it matter if he died on an upright stake or cross? The point is Jesus died for ours and rose from the dead so that we can live forever.
      -Jehovah’s Witness DO believe that Jesus pre-existed.
      -Jehovah’s Witnesses do not participate in politics, pledging to a flag, nor participate in war because Jesus’ Kingdom is not of this world and they can never kill another person because Jesus commands them not to.
      -Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that the BIBLE is the ONLY word of Yahweh.

      A Christian, whether unitarian or trinitarian, is someone who believes that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead. You must be re-born by being baptized. That Jesus pre-existed and is the ONLY son of god. And finally, the holy bible is the ONLY word of God.

      To be a Muslim, you have to acknowledge that Muhammad was a prophet.

    Today is Pentecost Sunday, the day the Holy Spirit came down from Heaven with fire to the early church, and others thought that they drunk on new wine; but no, they weren’t drunk, but had been filled with the Holy Spirit. Pentecost was a very important day in Christianity.

    Again, of all days for the Pope to host islamic prayers and readings from the unholy quran marks a very dark day for the Vatican.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Question: “What is Pentecost Sunday?”
    Answer: Pentecost Sunday is a commemoration and celebration of the receiving of the Holy Spirit by the early church. John the Baptist prophesied of the first Pentecost when Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11). Jesus confirmed this prophecy with the promise of the Holy Spirit to the disciples in John 14:26. He showed Himself to these men after His death on the cross and His resurrection, giving convincing proofs that He was alive. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Father’s gift of the Holy Spirit, from whom they would receive power to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:3-8). After Jesus’ ascension to heaven, the men returned to Jerusalem and joined together in prayer in an upper room. On the Day of Pentecost, just as promised, the sound of a violent wind filled the house and tongues of fire came to rest on each of them and all were filled with the Holy Spirit. They were given the power of communication, which Peter used to begin the ministry for which Jesus had prepared him. After the coming of the Holy Spirit, the disciples did not stay in the room basking in God’s glory but burst out to tell the world. This was the beginning of the church as we know it.
    You may learn more about Pentecost here:
    http://www.gotquestions.org/Pentecost-Sunday.html
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Also, Pentecost is when the Apostle Peter preached a sermon that can be found in Acts 2:12-36:

    12 All were astounded and greatly confused, saying to one another, “What does this mean?” 13 But others jeered at the speakers, saying, “They are drunk on new wine!”

    14 But Peter stood up with the eleven, raised his voice, and addressed them: “You men of Judea and all you who live in Jerusalem, know this and listen carefully to what I say. 15 In spite of what you think, these men are not drunk, for it is only nine o’clock in the morning. 16 But this is what was spoken about through the prophet Joel:

    17 ‘And in the last days it will be,’ God says, ‘that I will pour out my Spirit on all people, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy, and your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 And I will perform wonders in the sky above and miraculous signs on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke. 20 The sun will be changed to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes. 21 And then everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’1

    25 For David says about him, ‘I saw the Lord always in front of me, for he is at my right hand so that I will not be shaken.

    26 Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue rejoiced; my body also will live in hope, 27 because you will not leave my soul in Hades, nor permit your Holy One to experience decay. 28 You have made known to me the paths of life; you will make me full of joy with your presence.’

    29 “Brothers, I can speak confidently to you about our forefather David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 So then, because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath to seat one of his descendants on his throne, 31 David by foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that he was neither abandoned to Hades, nor did his body experience decay. 32 This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it. 33 So then, exalted to the right hand of God, and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out what you both see and hear. 34 For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says,

    ‘The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand 35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

    36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know beyond a doubt that God has made this Jesus whom you crucified both Lord and Christ.”

    Peter’s sermon is what ought to be read today at the Vatican, not passages from the unholy quran. I imagine the Apostle Peter is rolling over in his grave!

      In some ways it’s *even worse* than that, Richard. Not only is the Muslim “Jesus”—”Isa”—not crucified and not the Savior, he is not a healer or a peacemaker, either.

      And in the last days, he is supposed to “Break the Cross and Kill the Pigs”, which means that he will destroy Dhimmitude—the small, uncertain space under Islam where Christians may practice their faith—and then demand that every Christian convert to Islam or be killed.

      Islam claims that “Jesus” will “stand as a witness against the Christians”, and that that his role in the last days is to *kill Christians*.

      I wonder if this witless Pope realizes *that*?

    I had listened to with incredible sadness, disbelief and outrage and read what pope Francis asserted about Islam in his exhortation Evangelii Gaudium (paragraphs 252-253) where he states that “authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.”

    Considering the fact that I have been studying, researching and writing about Muhammad, his Quran, his Sunna and Sharia for over 30 years in Arabic (my mother tongue from Iraq) I have absolutely no choice but to address his utterly erroneous statement head on backed up with the very words of Muhammad’s Quran and Hadiths that the pope denies their existence in plain view.

    I accuse those who have advised the pope about the facts of Islam of mendacity, perfidy and deception bordering on treason.

    First and foremost the god of the Muslims (Allah) is most certainly NOT the same as the God of Jesus, Moses and Abraham.

    If the pope or any of his advisors can find a single operative verse in Muhammad’s Quran (containing 6236 verses) that shows any Mercy and Compassion towards Infidels/ Unbelievers (Kuffar/ Kafiroon in Arabic) I am more than happy to pay such a person the sum of $100,000.00.

    For those who do not know, Infidels currently constitute 80% of humanity: All Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Atheists, Agnostics, etc; that is all those who are not Muslims.

    I shall now back up my seemingly outrageous statements by pointing out verses based entirely on the Islamic sources.

    Al Tauba 9:29 “Fight [qatiloo] those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His apostle [Muhammad] nor acknowledge the religion of truth [ISLAM] (even if they are) of the People of the Book [Christians & Jews] until they pay the Jizya [onerous Tax for not being a Muslim] with willing submission and feel themselves humiliated”

    Al Mai’da 5: 51 “O ye who believe (Muslims)! take not the Jews [Yahood] and the Christians [Nasara] for your friends and protectors: they are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (for friendship) is of them…”

    Al Imran 3:85 “ If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah) never will it be accepted of him …”

    Al Tauba 9:33 “It is He (Allah) who hath sent His apostle (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam) to proclaim it over all other religions …”

    Muhammad 47:4 “Therefore when ye meet the Unbelievers smite at their necks(cut off their heads)….”

    Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.50 Narrated by Anas bin Malik
    “The Prophet said, ‘A single endeavor of fighting in Allah’s Cause {Qital fi Sabil Allah} (JIHAD) is better than the world and whatever is in it.'”

    Sahih Muslim Hadith 4631 & 4626 Abu Huraira
    “I heard Muhammad say: … I love that I should be killed in Allah’s Cause [Jihad]; then I should be brought back to life and be killed again [in Jihad]'”

    Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.73 Narrated by Abdullah bin Abi Aufa
    Allah’s Apostle said, “Know that Paradise is under the shades of swords.”

    Dear pope, if you had read the Quran, why have you missed these verses?

    Ask your advisors why they knowingly and maliciously deceived you?

    As a Christian, you spoke of tolerance. But dear pope all of humanity should heed the following axiom:

    “Unlimited tolerance must lead to the disappearance of tolerance.

    “If we extend unlimited tolerance even to those who are intolerant,

    if we are not prepared to defend a tolerant society against the onslaught of the intolerant,

    then the tolerant will be destroyed, and tolerance with them.

    We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant.” By Karl Popper

    Moreover, Fundamentalist Muslims declare publicly in over 80 languages in 180 countries on Earth that the supreme purpose of Islam is to rule the whole of Humanity under Sharia and no other religion can exist.

    The following is the declaration of every Sharia compliant country on Earth:

    “ALLAH IS OUR OBJECTIVE, MUHAMMAD IS OUR PROPHET, THE QUR’AN IS OUR LAW, JIHAD IS OUR WAY, AND DYING IN THE WAY OF ALLAH ( wal mouto fi sabil Allah ) IS OUR HIGHEST ASPIRATION!”

    Dear pope, in summation and based entirely upon the Muslim scriptures and nothing else:
    Sharia is Hatemongering, Racist, Duplicitous, Intolerant, Warmongering, Misogynist, Disloyal, Vile, Merciless and hence totally Ungodly.

      You don’t know that “ecumenical” means “of the whole (church)” [as in “Ecumenical Council”–the word doesn’t mean “of all (religions).” And you still are grossly ignorant of the restrictive, limited sense that “papal infallibity” has in Catholic theology–that the Holy Spirit prevents Christ’s Church from teaching error when the Pope or an Ecumenical Council in union with the Pope formally defines a dogmatic truth as an article of faith.

      Infallibility doesn’t mean faultless or mean impeccable, sinless. The Pope is a sinner, as we all are. And a pope can’t make 2 + 2 = 5 no matter what, since mathematics doesn’t concern faith or morals and doesn’t determine eternal salvation.

    But this *is madness*. Even if this is not to take place in St. Peter’s, it is *still the Vatican*.

    And what “prayers” shall they read? Certainly, the standard Muslim opening prayer *condemns Jews and Christians*.

    Another thing this ignorant Pope may not know—anyplace where Muslim prayers have been read is *henceforth considered a Mosque*—*in perpetuity*.

    I think you should pay attention to reality and see that “interfaith good faith gesture(s)” becomes a pathetic show, a crude sham, if the faith of one of the participants explicitly commands its followers to never act in good faith toward the infidel.

    This is from the latest edition of “First Things” – by Maureen Mullarkey:

    ….Caroline Glick wrote in The Jerusalem Post of a telling incident ignored by fawning media. During a public meeting with Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister mentioned innocuously that Jesus spoke Hebrew. Francis rudely interrupted his host to interject “Aramaic.” Flustered, Netanyahu responded, “Jesus spoke Aramaic but he knew Hebrew.”
    Netanyahu was right the first time. Francis was both impolite and wrongheaded. Whether Jesus spoke Aramaic or Hebrew at table with family we will never know. We know only that as a Torah observant Jew, Jesus certainly spoke Hebrew. In the multi-lingual society of his time, Hebrew was, as it still is, the sacred language of Judaism. Luke tells us: “As was his custom, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read [the Torah and Haftarah].” The twelve year old Jesus could not have discussed the fine points of Torah in temple without speaking Hebrew. Nor could he have spoken readily with the Samaritan woman at the well since Samaritans spoke Hebrew, not Aramaic. A generous amount of textual evidence for Jesus’ knowledge of Hebrew exists.
    Francis’ imprudent—and needless—discourtesy was surely not lost on the Palestinians.
    Justice is not achieved by trying to split the difference between a terrorist state and a democratic one. God help us all if the West is as luckless in a pope as Americans are in a president.

    MY MY MY…all the scurrying around mouths agape .. robes fluttering in commotion. The long hidden child of secret societies and daggers ; children buried in centuries of mud as shame upon shame built up. Now ; at the end the gig is up and the hidden brood up in the tower come pouring home to cavort in the Vatican ; as the antichrist spirit is fitted finally for the great day of abomination.. but yet; those who bargained for His robe who schemed and used the legions at their broodmasters feet to “secure” Jeruselem”; will tremble together at the approach of The Lamb from Above .. Who Abides in The Jerusalem which is from Above… As men sit in scorn with their prize .. for just a moment … then comes the Lord God Almighty . Who can boast?

    The Islamic dark magic is creeping via the infidels’ minds.
    Islam loves to curse. I’ve been cursed by three imams, and several muslims.
    Bout time they had a massive dose of their own medicine.

    The earlier pope, Pope John Paul II kissed the Quran. This fellow now allows a muslim prayer in Vatican. Religious Fornication to the core.

    POPE FRANCIS

    is no St. Francis. St. Francis risked martyrdom trying to save Arabs from history’s most diabolical and deadliest religion. He was unoffensively uncompromising in his opposition to Islam never attacking the faith directly, but risking life and limb to win Moslems to a religion more pleasing to God during the Crusades. But this Francis is an appeaser of unappeasable Moslems accepting Islam as equal to Catholic Christianity. I’m not Christian, but I’d sooner be one than a Moslem. Pope Francis should read Frank Rega’s book: “St. Francis of Assisi and the Conversion of the Moslems,” and study up on Barack Obama’s failed Moslem Outreach Initiative.

      Pope Francis should also heed Pope John Paul II’s warning to Mother Teresa whenshe visited the Vatican: BEWARE OF THE MOSLEMS.

        CORRECTION

        John Paul’s warning was to Mother Angelica, not Teresa.

    The THIEF has come to STEAL, to KILL and to DESTROY.

    To all who are deceived by the WICKED HONORING of Islam at the Vatican. There are NO good intentions! Their intentions are pure EVIL. The Pope and the Christian and Jewish leaders who attended the SATANIC service at the Vatican are the RAVENOUS WOLVES God warned about throughout the entire Bible – Old and New Testament! Every one of them are TRAITORS to God and are consumed with a rabid HATE for God!

    Bible, Matthew 7:15 “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.”

    The great SIN and terrible EVIL at the Vatican screamed out to God in heaven. God was DESPISED by the Pope and the Christian and Jewish leaders who attended.
    The Christian leaders SPAT on our Lovely Savior Jesus and spat on the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. And by their wicked silence, they APPROVE of Islam’s EVIL Global War on Christians! THEIR BLOOD CRIES OUT!

    The BLOOD CULT of ISLAM; the muslim DEATH god who is NEVER satisfied with the cruel deaths of hundreds of millions of innocents and demands and CRAVES more and more murders was HONORED and GLORIFIED in the satanic ceremony in the Vatican. Islamic prayers and readings from the Quran were offered up to the GOD of MURDER.

    Bible, 2 Corinthians 11:13-15
    For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds.

    One more clear indication of the fulfillment of that which the Arabian “Prophet” foretold, in this instance, Islam retreating , like the snake slithering back and into to the dark hole from which it came.

    Thus, no small wonder, the deluge of reports, telling, the devotees to Islam are hanging up their guns, laying aside their bombs, so too, their knives, hammers, stones, acids, weaponized vehicles and other creative “weapons.”

    Indeed, as we’ve long-since claimed, we’ve got these jihadist on the run …

    Today I have a new respect for the former Pope Benedict. At least he had the courage to admit that no good can come from Islam, even if he was merely quoting another. This Pope in my opinion is a placid Islam appeaser. With his action to foster in a false notion of peace, Francis just contradicted Christ himself when he warns us about the dangers of serving two masters. Allah is not the same God as YHWH, of it were so, then that would make Christianity false, because Allah openly damns Christians and Jews on the Korean…. What is this appeaser Pope even thinking. Today is truly a sad sad day to be catholic.

    Sorry typo…. I meant to say ” in the Koran” rather than ” on the Korean”…. which I am sure would not make a difference… Korean or Arabic, the Koran is still a wretched book.

    Don’t look to the Pope. Seek God. Seek His Son Jesus. Jesus is the Truth, the Way, and the Life. He’s coming back. Be ready.

    God is Love. He loves you! He died for you!

    Peace

    IMO, the Pope is acting very foolish. The notion that that you can love your enemies, and have it make a difference, will only get you killed!
