“Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the enemies of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom you may not know, but whom Allah knows. Whatever you spend in the cause of Allah shall be repaid to you, and you shall not be treated unjustly.” (Qur’an 8:60)

I remember that there was some website who counted the number of people killed in Iraq during the war and blamed all of them on coalition soldiers. Is there a website doing the tally for the number of people killed by jihadis after the departure of the coalition troops? If not, why?

The ayat 8.60 disproves what many here say about reforming Islam. In some modern translations after “steeds of war” parenthetically added afterwards is “(tanks, planes, bombs)”.
Who says Islam is monolithic or resistant to change?!
Obviously as a follower of the Sunnah and the Prophet (PBUH) I feel the mujahideen should be limited to horses and other hoofed animals.
(preferably cloven hoofed)

This is yet another example of the great amount of harm that is done this the imams and mullahs who thoroughly brainwash other people into believing in the Islamic doctrine from the Quran of a lust filled paradise with many virgins in it for the male Muslim who dies in the jihad for the cause of Islam, Sura 44:54. 55:56 .78:31. Of such false teachers as these imams and mullahs who very much indoctrinate of belief in such a place as of a lust filled paradise into the hearts and minds of others the Bible explains “They speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lust of the flesh…” Second Peter 2:18. Furthermore , many a tines a jihadist in his death recording talks about “the wedding with virgins” that he will have after he becomes a “martyr.” Such a belief Jesus would denounce as being based on false teaching. For Jesus taught “Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are as the angles in heaven.” Matthew 22:29,30. In contrast to the Islamic pipedream if the jihadist in the Quranic story/doctrine of a place with virgins, Christians have the reality of Second Peter 1:16. Which reads “For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ…” [KJV]

Thoughts on Iraq, by former frequent Jihadwatch contributor and board member, “Hugh Fitzgerald”.
Those who have joined this forum after Hugh left in order to focus on his own counter-jihad website may enjoy getting acquainted with his work.
Mr Spencer’s style is clear cold water; Mr Fitzgerald’s, more like a fine wine or brandy. They complement each other, I feel.
