Via 10news.dk, translated by Roni from NRC:
The intelligence service AIVD cannot follow jihadists properly in the Netherlands due to financial cuts and a “new dynamic” in the jihad movement. According to the AIVD memorandum that will appear next week, the jihad movement is more elusive and dangerous “than ever before.” So say, today, sources close to the Ministry of Home Affairs in NRC Handelsblad.
AIVD teams are already overloaded with tracking “travelers” who fight alongside jihadists in Syria and Iraq, ones who are planning to do so, or who have already returned. If additional cuts continue, as Minister Plasterk (home affairs, Socialist Party PvdA) plans, the service will be compelled to drop more “essential functions,” which is already the case, and may be forced to remove complete “jihad teams.” “We do what is necessary,” said a spokesman of the AIVD, who refused to give any further details about ongoing operations.
“AIVD has a huge capacity problem”
Safety expert Rob de Wijk, director of the Center for Strategic Studies in The Hague, says that the AIVD encounters a “huge capacity problem in following jihadism.” That is, according to him, this problem has recently “exploded,” and is now taking place “outside established structures, such as mosques.” It is impossible to follow all those who are involved. “Therefore, the AIVD’s capacity must be strengthened,” said De Wijk.
According to him, politicians relate to jihadism with a “remarkable lack of seriousness.” “Ministers say it’s not as bad as it looks. But the situation is not easy.”
CDA (Christian Democrat Party) leader Sybrand Buma today accused the government in Volkskrant (one of the leading Newspapers in the Netherlands) about the threat of jihadism. He called their approach to the threat of jihadism “naive.” He viewed the returning ISIS fighters as “the biggest security problem.” He wants the intelligence services — the AIVD and the military service MIVD – together to receive 50 million euros more than they do now. For quite some time, The Freedom Party (PVV — the party of Geert Wilders) has demanded that the cuts be implemented.

First the British and now the Dutch find insufficient money to track known jihadis. The first one out of the traps could have been plain government incompetence. This second one is looking like a very strange coincidence. A third nation scaling back on hunting Islamic terrorists and I will start to see a conspiracy, and will want to know what is planned.

Will they be contacting the FBI to learn how the Obama admin scrubbed the all connection of jihad to Islam?

The MSM fails to point out that the Muslim in the photo is holding a weapon in each hand.
The Qur’an deserves no respect at all.

Geert Wilders actually has put forward some very sensible ideas.

Wilders’ Proposal to Combat Jihadis Among Us
1/ automatically strip immigrants with dual nationalities of their Dutch passports if they leave our country to fight for Islam in Syria;
2/ immediate administrative detention of those fighters who have already returned;
3/ the reintroduction of border controls ceded when [the Netherlands] joined the EU;
4/ halt immigration of people from Islamic countries.
5/ International treaties prohibiting these measures should either be modified or terminated;
6/ encouragement of voluntary repatriation of people originating from Islamic countries;
7/ deal severely with the supporters of the fighters in Syria.
Mosques, Islamic schools and other organizations that provide financial or other support to those who go to fight in Syria must be closed down immediately;
8/ spend more money on security. Money that is currently being wasted on development aid {e.g. to the Pooooor “Palestinians” TM – dda} would better be spent on the AIVD (the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service);
9/ stop Dutch military intervention in the Islamic world and focus on the protection of the Netherlands;
10/ support Israel and stimulate economic relations with the Jewish state. Israel is the front line in the fight against jihad. If Israel falls, the West falls; and,
11/ break diplomatic relations with countries, such as Saudi Arabia and Qatar, that support terrorist groups such as ISIS.”
All of these are *excellent* ideas and should be taken up and reflected upon by the Resistance throughout the Lands of the Non-Muslims, with a view to getting as many of them as possible into a/ the consciousness of the public and b/ the consciousness of our politicians so that some at least may be **enacted**.
The measures specifically to do with the flood of western-passport-carrying Muslims into Syria and the clear and present danger posed by any of those who return (danger brutally illustrated by the murders at the Jewish Museum in Brussells) have the best chance of being implemented, so they should be pushed for, hard. And the **cost-saving** aspect of all this should be strongly pressed.
Note – in the same article, there is some info about the attitudes of Hans Infidel Public, in the Netherlands. Very heartening. I quote:
“In support of these draconian measures, Wilders cites a recent poll taken in the Netherlands.
Among the poll’s findings are:
1. 82 per cent of the Dutch believe that jihadists returning from Syria and Iraq increase the risk of an attack in the Netherlands;
2. 76 per cent favor stripping jihadists of their Dutch nationality;
3. 67 per cent want to introduce border controls to prevent them from returning;
4. 75 per cent want additional manpower for the AIVD;
and
5. 65 per cent of all Dutch believe that Islamic culture does not belong in the Netherlands.”
