“Our lives have become absurd. We endure daily insults and get spat on, a general feeling of anxiety because a part of the population has a poisoned mind that makes it their mission to hurt Jews, regardless of Gaza.” What part of the population might that be? Compounding the absurdity is that no one dares to talk about this problem, for fear of being smeared as “Islamophobic.” Those who dare to name the perpetrators and discuss their motivations are immediately cast as the villains, and those whose mission is to hurt Jews, regardless of Gaza, are portrayed in the mainstream media as poor, beleaguered victims.
“Firebombs fail to ignite at Toulouse Jewish center,” JTA, July 29, 2014:
Police in Toulouse arrested a man who hurled three firebombs at a Jewish community center and the officers guarding it.
The incident happened Saturday, one hour after the conclusion of a demonstration against Israel’s actions against Hamas in Gaza, the AFP news agency reported.
The man, who was not named, threw two firebombs over the center’s fence and a third at the officers, but none of the bombs successfully ignited. He also hurled stones at the Espace du Judaisme center, which contains a synagogue, a library and a lecture room, among other facilities.
“Our lives have become absurd,” Nicole Yardeni, the head of the local branch of the CRIF umbrella group of French Jewish communities. “We endure daily insults and get spat on, a general feeling of anxiety because a part of the population has a poisoned mind that makes it their mission to hurt Jews, regardless of Gaza.”
On Sunday, approximately 2,000 people, many of them Jews, held a rally in Marseille to express their solidarity with Israel.
Also on Saturday, the Correctional Tribunal of Paris released 11 of the 16 suspects that police arrested July 23 on suspicion that they were involved in carrying out an attack on a kosher restaurant in Paris’ 4th Arrondissement, which is also known as the Marais and is Paris’ historic Jewish quarter.
Eight of the suspects were minors, the website 20minutes.fr reported. Seven of them were released for lack of evidence, along with four adults. The court extended the remand of four young men and one minor, who was sent to juvenile court.
The suspects still in custody are believed to have been part of a group of 50 people who splintered off a pro-Palestinian demonstration and headed for the 4th Arrondissement.
A worker of the restaurant managed to shutter the restaurant’s anti-burglary bars, preventing the crowd from entering and locking dozens of customers inside, according to 20minutes.fr. The crowd proceeded to hurl various objects at the windows while shouting “bunch of dirty Jews, we will kill you” and “death to the Jews.”
One of the people released was a 32-year-old man whose criminal record included 14 incidents, and whose photo was identified by two victims of the attack.

The aggressive Muslims are like a plague in France. The French need to deport these savages and bar them from ever setting foot in France again. Why are people so afraid to challenge the behavior of Muslims??
People denounced the Nazis- but their modern equivilant, the Muslims, can get away with crimes and intimidation, and there is no resistance

Permanent fatwas of death and beheading to name two. I’d ask Molly Norris, but not really sure where she is these days.
The so-called elites try to cloak their fear in morally-superior PC preening about “multiculturalism, community cohesion, and Islamophobia,” as they cower behind layers of taxpayer-funded security.

Because they haven’t burned down enough churches yet and haven’t killed enough French people yet.
They will get there soon enough.

They’re afraid because those who stick out are labeled as racists, shunned by society, and in some cases, subjected to physical violence. In France, you can’t even tell the truth about Islam in public without getting fined. Just ask Brigitte Bardot.
I deal with this every day where I live (happens to be across from a mosque in a Muslim majority area of paris). Recently, a Muslim threw a heavy object at my dog while I was at the dog park. He harasses all the dog owners because he hates dogs. He claims this is because the dogs bark, but I think the real reason is Religious. He later explained that it’s Ramadan, and because he can’t eat during the day, we should be respectful and quiet.
He lives next to a dog park, what the hell does he expect? After he assaulted my dog and another dog, I called the cops and showed him the video of what he had done (this was not the first time he had threatened the dogs). They did nothing, of course, even though the law allows up to a 30k euro fine and two years in jail. I told the guy I’d post the video on YouTube with his home address if he ever did it again, but frankly, that’s a bluff. If I were to do that, I would get in trouble as in France, you’re not even allowed to take somebody’s picture on a public street without their permission. Thankfully, the threat seems to have worked.
Of course all this doesn’t stop muslims from posting pictures of Jews on Facebook. I highly doubt any serious prosecution ever came of that, if any.

Pat Condell said it best, Muslims demand total respect, and give absolutely none.
It sounds like non Muslim French citizens are treated like criminals when they are the victims of Muslim aggression.
Muslims are bullies- the only way to handle a bully who pushes you is to push back, twice as hard. Turning the other cheek just emboldens them.
The French government really needs to crack down, and start deporting or imprisoning Muslims who engage in criminal behavior.
Cut off all government benefits too, Muslims are flocking to Europe because they can live for free off of the taxpayers

I hope you said, ‘je m’en fous”
If he’d tried that on **my** dog, I’d have kicked the crap out of him.

Welcome, “McFrenchie”.
Are you native French or an expat resident in Paris?
You are witnessing what an astute Englishman – who used to post here quite a lot, in times past – dubbed “mosque blight”.
Thank you for your first-hand report from the Front, where the Islamoforming of France by the Mohammedan Mob is currently proceeding.
Do you frequent “Riposte Laique” ?

Besides the obvious absurdity of attacking jews internationally because of the Israel-Hamas conflict, muslims are engaged in colossal hypocrisy. When discussing islamic terrorism, they often say something to the effect of “you can’t judge or mistreat all muslims because of the actions of a relatively- few muslim criminals.” Agreed. So why do Jews not receive the same standard? I will definitely remember the attacks on Jews internationally the next times that a muslim or an apologist falsely accuses me of bigotry.
Hypocrisy and double standards! Typical islam.

Yep.
Muslims have *always* engaged in, and are presently engaging in, collective punishment of Infidels (as we see, for example, not just in the attacks on Jews within the West, but also when howling Muslim mobs attack defenceless Christians or Hindu neighbourhoods in Pakistan, after just *one* Christian or Hindu has been accused of “blasphemy!!!”); even whilst, here in the West, they continually demand that they – Muslims – must *not* be collectively punished, that *they*, Muslims, must each be judged individually and not as a member of the Ummah.
