For years now, Leftists and Islamic supremacists have claimed, and have gotten their stooges in the mainstream media to claim, that opposition to jihad terror and Islamic supremacism constituted “hatred.” But with the many violent anti-Israel hate rallies around the world in recent days, we see where the real hate is coming from — as if it weren’t obvious to any clear-sighted person already.
“Israel Gaza Crisis: German Protesters Chant ‘Gas the Jews’ in Anti-Israel Rallies,” by Vasudevan Sridharan, International Business Times, July 22, 2014 (thanks to Pamela Geller):
Berlin authorities have ordered pro-Gaza demonstrators to stop chanting anti-semitic messages, after protesters were reportedly heard shouting ‘Gas the Jews’.
Sizeable anti-Israel rallies have been held in the German capital, with people taking to the streets allegedly chanting anti-semitic slogans. Some of the demonstrations are said to be organised by Muslim immigrants and neo-Nazi groups.
The Berlin authorities are also investigating anti-semitic behaviour by a radical Imam in the city, after a video uploaded by Israeli daily Haaretz showed an Imam calling for the obliteration of Jews, telling his followers to “kill them to the very last one”.
Condemning the anti-semitism, Dieter Graumann, president of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, was quoted by AFP as saying: “We are currently experiencing in this country an explosion of evil and violent hatred of Jews, which shocks and dismays all of us.
“We would never in our lives have thought it possible anymore [that] those anti-Semitic views of the nastiest and most primitive kind can be chanted on German streets.
“Jews are once again openly threatened in Germany and sometimes attacked, synagogues are being defaced and declared as targets.”
Violence has also been reported during certain protests in Germany, but in most cities the rallies remained largely calm.
Meanwhile, in France, rallies against Israel have allegedly been blighted by instances of anti-semitism.

Disgusting behavior. Such hatred is not normal – it is demonic.

What exactly is “alleged” about all these events???? PC even in the face of irrefutable evidence.

Hi, Silvia,
Am Yisrael Chai !
In this particular case, it might possibly be that the anti-Semitic scumbags have been arrested, and therefore their cases are ‘sub judice’, and it is consequently illegal to either assume their guilt, or to comment on what may be ongoing cases.
That is the law in England, I don’t know about France.
Anyway, as you note, irrefutable evidence shows the foul evil of these creatures.
Please believe, and **know** that Israel has * many * friends, notj just here at JW, but elsewhere. I myself have spent the day writing proper letters to not only my own government , expressing my disgust and moral revulsion, at how the Israeli position is being deliberately misrepresented, but I have also written to the Israeli Embassy in the UK, affirming my total support for Israel’s actions.
Bibi seems to be holding his own. From your perspective, as an Israeli, how do you see it ?
Long live Israel, the beacon of the free world !

Mirren10 I have to be honest here. I haven’t been a Netanyahu supporter for years (and I am right wing) because of his economic policies. In this crisis, so far, he has conducted it BRILLIANTLY! I just hope we don’t pull out before we make sure we aren’t going to be in the same situation in a year or two. That always happens and it’s always due to foreign pressures.
I’m not much of a believer but I can’t help thinking how the universe conspired to open the world’s eyes to the HUGE threat we are ALL facing. It all started with the 3 kidnapped (later murdered) boys and with the stupid beastliness of the Hamas that started attacking southern Israel a month ago (everybody ignored it as long as we didn’t fight back – FOR TWO WEEKS). Then they refused the ultimatum. Then we attacked and they refused the first ceasefire. Then they refused the 2ed one and that morning there was the first attack inside Israel from one of their tunnels. Did you see that???? THAT WAS THE MOST FORTUNATE THING THAT HAPPENED TO US IN A VERY LONG TIME!!!!!! I dread to think what would have happened to us if the Hamas beasts weren’t stupid and arrogant enough to do it right then! We would have gone to a cease fire, with hundreds of Israelis sitting on top of numerous terror tunnels. They would have, sooner or later, attacked us and caused a MASS MASSACRE! We knew about the tunnels but we didn’t take it seriously enough (and you can BET that there are many of those on the border with Lebanon). This is one very lucky cluster of events. IT’S REALLY HUGE!!! The Arabs have lost to us on the ground, in the air and in most other ways so they’ve come up with this Vietnamzation idea. At least now we know.
As for Europe and the world, I hope it’s not my wishful thinking but it does seem to me that Europeans are starting to understand. Maybe it’s the Arab nuclear winter. Maybe it’s facing Islam every day in their daily lives. I really do think it will get worse in Europe before it gets better.

I get the impression that PM Netanyahu has his back to the wall and he’s just. had. enough.
At this link (a posting on one of the Israeli English-language blogs I’ve been reading every day; ever since I got back from a week on holiday and totally offline and out of the loop, to discover that Hamas was showering israel with rockets and Israel was coming out of the corner roaring) there’s a brief clip of PM Netanyahu briefing a bunch of foreign diplomats.

He lays it right on the line. He tells it like it is.
And what gets me is that he doesn’t shout or stamp or wave his arms around. It’s the cool quietness – the near-understatement – that is frightening.

Further thought.
I do wonder just how much Love Mail Israeli embassies all over the world have been getting from the ordinary Infidel – and non-Jewish – citizens of assorted countries, this time around.
Letters, phonecalls, emails, all saying (informally translated) “Look, guys, just go for it, we know what you have to do and why. Hammer Hamas and their ilk into the ground, and then some; and don’t stop until *you* decide it’s time to stop. God bless the IDF!”
If those sorts of communications have been managing to outnumber and drown out the hate mail that (I’ll bet) comes in at times like this, then maybe the Israelis have the sense that although there’s a lot of horrible Jewhatred screaming on the streets – largely manifested by Mohammedans – there is *also* something else, perhaps not as obviously visible, but there, a tide that is rising and lifting and carrying them. That is *with* them, not against them.
And if every expression of support that the Israeli embassies have been receiving has been matched by letters to assorted *governments* – such as my own (I am Australian) – urging *real*, solid support for Israel and telling people NOT to morally equivalence the IDF with Hamas, and emphasising and denouncing Hamas’ use of civilians as human shields, and demanding that we let Israel alone and not deny them their right of self defence, then *those* governments may have decided to wait and see what happens, rather than jumping in last time to stop Israel before they had had a chance to give Hamas a good thrashing.
However: I think a lot more public on-the-street demonstrations of support for Israel *need* to happen, quickly; and they need to be as big as we can possibly make them, preferably they need to be BIGGER than the hatefests we’ve seen reported so far; and at those rallies, non-Jews, recognisably Gentile (it would be nice to have lots of Islamosavvy Sikhs, Hindus and Buddhists, as well as Christians and western secular folks) need to outnumber the Jews there present. *That* would send a message to the Mohammedans, *and* to the media and the politicians.
In Australia pro-Israel rallies need to happen in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra: the two biggest cities, and the national capital.
Israel *NEEDS* to know that they have friends. I know they *expect* to be alone; at least 2000 years of being persecuted has done that to them; but still, humanly speaking, it’s always just that bit easier to hang on, and fight, and keep on fighting, if there is a huge crowd in the stands, cheering you on.
On a practical note, I would really encourage people, if they’ve got a bit of spare cash, to consider Magen David Adom, at least. Put our money where our mouths are.
And something else. *Every single time* Israel fires one of those amazing Iron Dome interceptors, it costs them a cool **fifty million**. Think of that. Maybe some pro-Israel folks could organise crowdsourcing…”sponsor an Iron Dome”…and pass round the hat for it at every pro-Israel rally, function and fundraiser.
Support Israel …Defy and Defeat Jihad.
Here’s one little country that is *fighting back* against the Jihad. That *isn’t*, right now, doing the dhimmi thing.
All the world’s free infidels should be standing with Israel.

I fear that if most people are like my own friends and acquaintances here in England, very few will be taking Israel’s side over the side of the “Palestianians”.
I know from talking to them that my friends have a growing antipathy to muslims, with whom they have to deal all the time, and whom they realise are habitually dishonest, arrogant, and overbearing to say the least, and yet my friends also exhibit a knee-jerk anti-semitism despite often having not knowingly met a jewish person.
I’ve noticed there’s an automatic assumption on most english people’s part that the “palestinians” are somehow the victims in the arab-israeli conflicts, that the conflicts have nothing to do with Islam, and that the Israelis are brutal near-nazis who stole their country.
Needless to say I agree with you and most others here at JW and disagree with my friends but that’s the tenor of people’s attitudes as I experience them here in England.

That is soo sad.
I guess all you can do is keep on repeating stubbornly that the war waged on the Jews by Hamas et al is nothing other than Jihad, a local jihad that is one subset of the Global jihad which the Ummah or mohammedan mob is waging upon all non-Muslims everywhere.
Those painfully-young Jewish soldiers who are chasing jihadi monsters through the tunnels under Gaza, are striking a blow for *all* of us, every time they take out a flaming-eyed allahu-akbaring thug.
