Khaled Mashaal knows that Turkey, as a member of NATO and a near-member of the European Union, can help marshal world opinion against Israel. Mashaal knows that international opposition to Israel’s defense against the “Palestinian” jihad can stop that defense in its tracks. It has happened before, more than once.
“Hamas Asks Turkey to Stop Israel from Responding to Terror Attacks,” by Hana Levi Julian, the Jewish Press, June 30, 2014 (thanks to Joshua):
Hamas political bureau terrorist chief Khaled Mashaal spoke on Monday with Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu about Israel’s air strikes on Gaza’s rocket launchers.
The two men exchanged greetings for a blessed Ramadan — the Islamic holiday in which Muslims fast each day for an entire month — and then Mashaal asked Davutoglu to find a way to block Israel from attacking Gaza terrorists.
The request came on the same morning that Gaza terrorists had launched a barrage of 15 rockets at southern Israel.
Two homes were damaged and at least two local residents were treated for shock on site. Others suffered from anxiety and trauma after a 24-hour period of having to run for their shelters and safe rooms on an average of every 90 minutes due to constant rocket attacks.
All this, barely 48 hours after the Israeli city of Sderot had gone up in flames from a missile attack that struck a paint factory. The chemicals in the factory had exploded upon impact from a Qassam rocket fired by Gaza terrorists. Four residents were wounded and the factory was burned to the ground.
Israel has retaliated with surgical air strikes. Over the weekend a dozen terrorist targets were hit, including two Al Qaeda-linked members of the Islamic State of Iraq in the Levant (ISIL). Both terrorists were killed.

We are ashamed of Tayyip Erdogan’s Islamic government and his horrible actions for even its own people here in Turkey. Secular people are like prisoners of war in our own country. Once we were a democratic secular country and now supporter of terrorist groups like hamas, ISIS etc. Unfortunately we can’t do anything to stop him since there are no fair elections left, everything is fixed by the ruling party… Somebody should stop this “moderate islamic” idea which does not work and will never work if I know islam a little bit…
Peace.

And so turkey shall go the same way as the Weimar Republic under hitler. No else is going to save turkey except turks. If it is still up to the task, the turkish military is the best hope for protecting turkey from islamists in all forms – armed, political, social, etc.

IDF air strikes are for self defence. Political pressure from gullible world leaders is insufficient to stop Israel from protecting herself, proactively (at present). Alternatively, turkey could send in its f-16s … but they would just to plucked out the sky by the IDF.
If rockets flies from gaza into Israel, the IDF will respond. That is the nature of reality. A reality that frustratingly does not fit the supremacist vision of hamas. Now hamas is crying to big brother turkey, which incidentally is equally inept in challenging the IDF.

Does it strike anyone else as ironic that Hamas is able to garner weapons support from Iran, political support from Turkey, and sympathy from the EU and the international press?
All of this confluence of support between enemies because Hamas is dedicated to killing all the Jews? What other agenda do these other groups share? None!
Hamas is listed as a terrorist organization and runs an Islamic tyranny in Gaza that idolizes martyrdom and the killing of innocent women children. They are running summer camps for children to teach them to hate Jews and to train to kill themselves for Mohammed. “What’s not to love”, writes the press. “Why not a unity government with the PA” says the US state department and the EU. “It is all the same morality” writes the New York Times.
At least Abdel Fatah el-Sisi knows what to do with these monsters. Did we hear anything more complaints about his plan to hang 100 of them from the press? No. And, you won’t hear him objecting to Netanyahu taking care of business this week. And, Abbas will be very quiet while his competition is pounded.

I applaud the State of Israel and the IDF for its measured, accurate, and effective strikes against its hateful and implacable foes.
I deeply regret that our U.S. President favors Turkey’s PM Erdogan and sees his “moderate” Islamism as the touchstone of a “modern” Middle East foreign policy.

99.9 % of blame goes on a Roman Pope who calls Muslims as Palestinians. Its not just a historical & biblical falsehood, its also a double genocidal premise with no chance a Roman Pope did not know what he says. Stuff like that legitimizes Islamist terror.

Turkey’s NATO membership should be annulled.
Invite Israel to join.
