Reuters reported today that “at least one rocket fired from Lebanon hit northern Israel on Monday….The rocket was fired from the area around the southern city of Tyre, Lebanese security sources said.” AFP noted that “a rocket fired from Syria hit the Israeli-occupied sector of the Golan Heights on Sunday.” Rockets from Gaza continue to hit Israel despite the Israeli defensive actions. And according to Al Arabiya, “Egyptian security thwarted on Sunday an attempt to launch two rockets from Sinai at Israel.”
Israel withdrew from southern Lebanon in May 2000. Prime Minister Ehud Barack’s government thought that the withdrawal would show that Israel was serious about making peace, and would bring to an end the relentless attacks against Israel at the United Nations and in the international media. Israel withdrew from Gaza in September 2005. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s government thought that the withdrawal would show that Israel was serious about making peace, and would bring to an end the relentless attacks against Israel at the United Nations and in the international media. Israel withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula by 1982 as part of the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty resulting from the Camp David Accords. Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin’s government thought that the withdrawal would show that Israel was serious about making peace, and would bring to an end the relentless attacks against Israel at the United Nations and in the international media.
Israel carried out all three of these withdrawals in pursuit of peace. But peace never came.
The UN and the media never let up on Israel, and in each case, the Israeli withdrawal led to the previously “occupied territory” becoming a base for new jihad attacks against the Jewish state.
How many more times is this going to have to happen before the leaders of the free world stop pressuring Israel into entering into these self-defeating and fruitless “peace” agreements? The events of the last few days have assuredly not persuaded Barack Obama and John Kerry to stop pressuring Israel to withdraw from the “settlements” so as to show that Israel is serious about making peace, and to bring to an end the relentless attacks against Israel at the United Nations and in the international media. But even if such an agreement comes about, and it looks unlikely now with the latest jihad savagery and Netanyahu apparently resolute against it, it will fail, yet again. The war against Israel is a jihad for the sake of Islam. It will never be negotiated away. It will never be turned away from its ultimate goal of the destruction of Israel and the genocide of the Jews.
Obama and Kerry and the rest may know this. Obama’s anti-Semitic associations are so many and so long-lasting that it is hard to sustain the idea that he is pressing the Israelis to curtail their latest operations and enter into what would certainly be a disastrous ceasefire agreement with Hamas out of naivete and a well-meaning but ill-considered desire to make peace. He must know. And many in the Leftist intelligentsia must know. Those who do not yet know, however, should ponder the spectacle of Israel being attacked from southern Lebanon, Gaza and the Sinai all in one day, as well as from Syria, with which the Nixon Administration pressed Israel to make peace in 1973.
It is long past time for a new paradigm in Washington — an across-the-board repudiation of the prevailing political establishment, and the ascendancy of people who are willing to face the reality of the jihad threat in its full magnitude, and to defend Israel to the hilt as being on the front line of that jihad. But with the Republicans so richly deserving their sobriquet of The Stupid Party, such a change in the political culture is not, alas, on the horizon.

Of course Obama knows.
Great for you to point it out at JW, because he’s so practiced in pretending, his “silver tongued devil” skills so highly developed, not everybody knows that Obama knows.
Merely the required daily secret briefings to any POTUS, even public news compilations, would prove that he knows.
Obama knows. Obama and his AG Holder, for example, know exactly what they’re doing, they receive too many intelligence briefings not to know … and they don’t care about the protection of the U.S. citizenry including a substantial Jewish population or about Israel. Their loyalties lie elsewhere.
We could just as well stop spending our time complaining about POTUS, SCOTUS, et al. and decide how best to take care of ourselves and those we love — with hopes and prayers that the remaining unsung patriots among us (including military and police personnel) are able to act courageously whenever faced with terrorism and other debacles within U.S. borders despite top U.S. leadership which has sold us out. U.S. citizens no longer have any guarantee of good-faith government protection from internal and external enemies that we’ve thought our taxes and our love of country provided.
Obama probably only cares about the Muslim leaders globally and not any of the rank-and-file “Muslim Americans,” because Muslim pro-terrorist leaders regularly sacrifice their own people — women, children and non-important Muslim males —to achieve jihadic victory. E.g., Hamas “human shields” who are the commoners in Gaza.
And of course the Islamic PR/taqiyyah machine will make it appear that key jihadist Muslims disdain Obama and company, just to get people without taqiyyahh radar off the scent of Obama’s crimes of omission against the U.S. citizenry.
I’ve faced it, hard though it is to face, and don’t believe there’s much likelihood of significant positive political change in a SCOTUS/inaptly named “Citizens United” world of unlimited globally-pro-Islam-big-oil-big-bank-bailout campaign funding for a low-information electorate on both sides of the red-blue divide in the U.S.
However, if this world’s still here for the 2016 election, after what TX Governor Perry (and his Navy Seal-trained expert) is saying and hoping to do about Obama’s southern U.S. border sellout — Latin American and MX drug cartel gangs better informed for terror by enemy combatants coming over the southern U.S. border from Afghanistan and Islam-infested areas of the Middle East — Perry might know how to put sufficiently brilliant people around him to match his patriotism as a potential president. http://video.foxnews.com/v/3668994447001/exclusive-sean-hannity-tours-the-southern-border/#sp=show-clips

We don’t even have to wait for it. Here it is: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/07/14/white-house-muslims_n_5585851.html
But isn’t it something to have the White House praying Allahu Ackbar, the Islamic war cry, with our taxpayer dollars over dinner during Rama”damn,” the month when Muslims collectively and globally pray as if cursing for conquest of the world’s non-Muslims?
BTW, google Allahu Ackbar as war cry and you’ll find this convenient handy-dandy top-search result: http://www.debate.org/opinions/is-the-phrase-allahu-akbar-the-war-cry-of-islamic-terrorists
When I found it recently it was polling yes, 25%, to war cry, and no, 75%. I cut-and-pasted my JW excerpt comment on a similar topic to fit within their word limit, which moved the polling percentage to 33% yes. (Obviously not too many participants whose votes are being counted at that site.)
If it’s not just a covert taqiyyah pro-Islam page at debate.org, you might be able to similarly cut-and-paste from your JW comments to make the poll tell the truth!
For the Greater Good and the hell with the war cry, Allahu Ackbar!

With Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis in the Sinai, Islamic Resistance Movement (HAMAS) and Islamic Jihad in Gaza, Hamas and armed PLO wings in the West Bank, Hizballah and armed Sunni jihad factions in Lebanon and Syria, Israel is menaced on every side. Israel should unilaterally determine its own defensible borders and keep “Falistin” pacified and demilitarized.

So true. Israel still needs all of the territory won in the 1967 Six Day War, including strips like Gaza that Islamic terrorism and global political pressure caused Israel to cede back.

Some of my forebears were Cherokee and didn’t deserve the long march of the “trail of tears.” The violent Islamic jihadists in the Middle East, and all those who have not voluntarily renounced the Jew-and-Christian hating evil of Islam as confirmed by the Quran and Hadiths, do on the other hand deserve to be relocated to anywhere that is not Israel or land bordering Israel.
Saudi Arabia is big. They could go there, and see what it’s like being on the other side of Saudi-style Muslim-on-Muslim oppression. http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2013/05/the-u-s-is-supporting-the-most-violent-muslim-terrorists-in-order-to-wage-war-for-oil.html [written in 2013 before Obama so greatly increased the risk to the U.S. of more than stealth jihad, but still true apparently about the Saudi’s overall.]
Jan Fourowls says
Re: the washingtonsblog (or any other I link), my purpose isn’t to vouch for the political conclusion reached by someone else — often I don’t hold the same political views overall.
Instead I’m trying to fill in facts as I’ve had to research them quickly online in order to make sense of the current FUBAR global mess including Islamic terrorism as the top of the list — and why U.S. leaders on both sides of the red-blue divide are not defending the American people with anything but empty promises.
Also paying attention to the facts and adapting our decisions and actions based on reality (instead of avoidance of what’s scary) may be far more important that playing politics in an America that no longer plays by the rules of the republic or democracy, e.g., http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/apr/21/americas-oligarchy-not-democracy-or-republic-unive/
The dispensation of welfare-state benefits by oligarchs who are Democrats merely serves their goal of continuing election by those voters. The rhetoric against the welfare state by oligarchs who are Republicans merely serves their goal of continuing election by those who oppose the welfare state. As long as there is relative stasis between the red-and-blue groups and their voters (welfare state or not), we get a Congress which does little but further the ambitions of lesser oligarchs on both sides of the red-blue divide who hope to be inducted to the league of top-level oligarchs.
The inaptly named “Citizens United” case about unlimited corporate campaign funding for both sides of the red-blue political divide is truly a tool of oligarchy.
When have oligarchs ever really cared about the people who serve them? Isn’t Obama’s golfing and beer-drinking and never-ending vacationing just what an oligarch (king among kings) would do? Isn’t the Republican rhetoric without action about impeaching or suing Obama just what an oligarch would say and then not do? The oligarchs owe loyalty only to their own kind, and everything else is political sideshow designed to dupe us, throw us crumbs or a bone now and then.
In an oligarchy only a successor oligarch is likely to come to power. Note for instance Ted Cruze’s recent specious arguments against “Citizens United,” because without CU he wouldn’t be in line for the unlimited corporate money available for campaigning to low-information Republicans as well as low-information Democrats. Republicans of Cruze’s oligarchical type, Mitt Romney, etc., are only pulling the wool over the eyes of the well-intentioned patriots who think he might really turn the country back around. Democrats in general I’ve lost all hope for.
Obama’s an unmitigated Muslim supremacist disaster and a traitor to the American people, but Mormon Romney would not have been a good deal for us either, in the new American oligarchy, because Romney has far more in common with the oil-billionaire Muslim Saudi king than he does with me or you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abdullah_of_Saudi_Arabia

It’s a joke, taken as such. I don’t think piranhas could necessarily live in the Jordan River as a fish fighting force any way. LOL.

It is far past the time when a new political paradigm against the savagery of Jihadists and their ideology is brought into the mainstream.
Alas, any counter – Jihad activist is smeared repeatedly by the MSM which would make any political shift difficult to bring about. I think the real question is; when will the MSM finally wake up to reality? Possibly never, but hopefully soon.
Jan Fourowls says
I’ve read that Muslim big-oil money is involved now in MSM ownership of the globally interlocking conglomerate press (mainly electronic) — which makes sense given the obvious Islamic taqiyahh and PR apparatus around the world.
I’m not counting on predominant media shifting to tell truth about Islamic conquest instead of disseminating its money-lackey lies as usual.

Thinking of you and of all the other Jews – and other non-Muslim folks – in Israel right now, under fire.
Praying for you.
I read four Israeli blogs regularly – This Ongoing War, and Israeliminx, and Israellycool, and A Soldier’s Mother, and they are keeping me nicely up to date and showing me just how *much* of what is going on – the sheer volume of the Hamas bombardment of civilian areas in Israel, the narrow escapes that people are having, the heroic efforts of the Iron Dome operators which are about the only thing, besides outright miracles, averting mass casualties – is just not making it into news reports here in Australia.

The prophet Jeremiah made it clear, do not say, “peace, peace,” when there is no peace.
Martin Luther re-iterated it.
The Rule of St. Benedict says, “do not give a hollow greeting of peace.”
Muslims routinely violate these rules.
All the more reason for non-Muslims to see to it that they honor them and put them into practice everywhere.

Islam is doing a very good job of revealing the face of Allah to the whole world. To the West, one of hatred, vengeance, bloodlust, hellfire. To faithful muslims, one of Koran fulfillment, divine retribution, Islamic strength. And this, THIS, is what the West continues to appease and apologise for.
