This week’s special guest on the counterjihadsphere’s premier chat show, The Glazov Gang, was none other than Jihad Watch contributor Raymond Ibrahim, a Shillman Journalism Fellow at the David Horowitz Freedom Center, a Middle East and Islam specialist, and the author of Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians (2013) and The Al Qaeda Reader (2007).
Raymond’s topic was ISIS’s Islamic Inspirations. He explained how the jihadist terror we see in Iraq today and throughout the world is founded on Islamic theology. Raymond also discussed Jamie Glazov’s battle on Hannity against the Unholy Alliance, jihad denial, Obama’s enabling of jihad, jihadi foreign travelers, and much, much more.

Rob Nelson reiterates the common disingenous leftist meme regarding the equivalance between islamic violence/terrorism and supposed christian acts of violence.
“When a christian goes into a post office and robs it, when a man goes into a school and shoots up kids its the same thing” ??? So every bank robber is a terrorist? every murderer?
The test is simple. How many acts of violence are commited in the west or anywher for that matter after which the perpetrators claim resposibility and justify their crimes by direct reference to Christianity and /or the Bible teachings? I robbed this bank in the name of Jesus Christ! Or I beheaded this man in the name of Yahweh! It just has never happened.
Contrast this with the over 20,000 islamic terrorist attacks globally since 9/11 in which the perpetrators explicitly and openly justified their actions by reference to islam/Quranic teaching. Compare the ten commandments in exodus with the islamic equivalent in ‘the reliance of the traveller’ It’s a no brainer. There is no equivalence . And any equivalence you draw is simply manufactured to conform to the all too prevalent leftist ideological narrative. And in doing so Nelson shows himself to be part of the problem in refusing to recognise the threat is not terrorists or terrorist acts but islam itself as Glaszov has said repeatedly.

It can only be good to have the truth of Islam come out to a wider audience through any measure that will let that truth be heard.
As a result of this video posted from counterjihadsphere’s premier chat show, The Glazov Gang, with the excellent exposition of Jihad Watch contributor Raymond Ibrahim, my thoughts could be focused today as follows (commenting in online news about Hamas in a manner where the comment might not get scrubbed by internal PC/pluralist censors):
“Hamas a “militant” group? From the Hamas charter: “… raise the banner of Jihad … our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious.”
But with all due respect, and in a 21st century world where Jews and Christians don’t initiate the brutal style of warfare described among tribal Middle Eastern people approximately 3,000 years ago in Judeo-Christian scripture, isn’t there something the “moderate” brothers around the world (including the Muslim Americans in the U.S. so well-honored by President Obama during Ramadan) might do to encourage “militants” not to literally carry out the genocidal words of 7th century Islamic scripture which make the Hamas charter look like kum ba ya?
And before somebody replies with “the crusades,” please check your history about both sides to that conquest, who started what on the timeline, and the reality that the nominally Christian crusaders took up the sword as fighting men under a Roman Catholic [pre-Reformation] banner but without there being any part of the uniquely Christian scriptures (New Testament) of the Bible to justify their violent actions. And it was many hundreds of years ago. Today by contrast the Pope in Rome ascribes fully to interfaith equivalency if not supremacy of those sharing the religion of Hamas.”

Excellent to see this video confirming “how the jihadist terror we see in Iraq today and throughout the world is founded on Islamic theology.” Skillful expositors by video putting the pieces together! Really useful pointers for discussions we may have with our fearful friends and neighbors not yet able to face their fears about what it means for Islam to be the religion of war and torture and slavery. Thank you so much for posting!
The video’s discussion of Caliph and Caliphate, and the evil that Islam teaches (Quran, Hadith, etc.), was related to the following notes also.
Without awareness of Islam’s end-times religious eschatology, nothing about the rapidly escalating evil rise of Islam really makes much sense and can handily be dismissed as fear-mongering by folks who aren’t scholars immersed in the topic as featured by the video.
What but end-times eschatology — coupled generally with Islam’s tenets of conquest — could explain Muslim Americans and Muslim Europeans leaving their countries by the thousands to join the caliphate of IS in summer 2014? [Easy to google; I’ve linked previously.]
What could explain the inconsistent confusion and apparent taqiyyah in the world press of Islamic terrorist leaders claiming the IS Caliphate is nothing, and seemingly new levels of Islamic leaders infighting — even though the above is happening (Muslims joining IS from around the world, violent directions of Quran in hand) with the mainstream media virtually ignoring the current devastation of Muslim conquest where extremely well-funded IS Caliphate operations are unfolding? [Easy to google; I’ve linked previously.]
It’s almost (?) as if the Hamas/Gaza fight against Israel is a taqiyyah-coordinated global Islamic diversion on behalf of the Caliphate. I saw indications online this morning, for example, that IS now has enriched uranium as its unheralded but well-funded looting operations (including oil field control) are proceeding without global protest.
The end-times eschatology may be entirely bogus in your opinion (which thank God you’re free to have), but at least many Muslims joining up with IS and its Caliph seem to believe in the Islamic bastardized slaughter-fest version of the end times as expanded in Christian scriptures from Jewish prophecies.
If you view current jihadic events through the lens of Islamic end-times beliefs including the rise of the Caliphate required before the “12th Mahdi” appears, the escalating evil of the events makes more sense.
Below are some links related to the Islamic eschatology (seriously believed by Muslims who order their lives and fortunes around it) as it has been playing out in world events from 2014 back to 2011. The links aren’t forwarded to address the seemingly never-ending discussions among Christians interpreting the Bible’s eschatology differently on non-essentials of the Christian faith (e.g., is there a rapture of Christians before or after the end-times “tribulation,” and so on).
The point of the links is mainly that based on the largely oral understanding of largely pre-literate Christians known to largely illiterate Muhammad (or whoever) in the 7th century, Muhammad and the Muslims following him at that time [based on the Christians’ largely oral end-time beliefs (because almost nobody could read)] made up and/or were evilly influenced to create their own competing Islamic end-times eschatology.
The Islamic end-times eschatology mirrors but hideously reverses the players, the roles and the import of “end times” witness and faithfulness expected of Christians along with God’s salvific plan for the Jews and all others who might believe before the second coming of Christ.
Muslim jihadists may be basing their decisions and their genocidal dreams of conquest on these Islamic eschatological ideas that reverse the Christian prophecies, while not talking about it very much in the West where secularism and liberalism of nominal Christianity has caused many if not most who call themselves Christians to disbelieve the Bible as a reliable source of prophecy.
Muslims unlike disbelieving Christians deeply lust for their Islamic reversals of the biblical prophecy, as the links below indicate regarding ISIS (IS, the Caliphate Islamic State) and the different analyses of Christian bloggers:

More than one of us have reached conclusions very much like yours, Jan.

Good to know! I’m relatively new here. If time permitted reading through all past comments would no doubt be very enlightening.

I definitely agree that the Islamic State is the most powerful, and potentially the most dangerous terrorist proto-state on the face of the earth. Only yesterday I read in The Long War Journal how IS destroyed an Iraqi armored column, blasting a top-line battle tank and capturing two more along with several heavily armored personnel carriers. If this keeps up, IS won’t be leading future attacks with just rickety pick-up trucks.

The IS has a couple billion dollars, access to Saudi Wahhabi and other Gulf Arab monies, tanks, HUMVEES (basically anything the Iraqi military had in Mosul and other cities), SCUDS, WMD infrastructure and materials (albeit old and dangerous). That’s what we know. Obviously there is a lot we don’t.
Our “friends” the Dr. Frankenstein Saudis created their monster and now it’s loose.
John C. Barile says
Success compounds success. If they secure adequate refining capacity, a supply of petrol, then they are on a roll. They have a hard-core of 20,000 fighters, large amounts of ammunition and thousands of heavy machine guns. The most potent thing they have is fanaticism, leadership, and over fifty 155-mm howitzers with a 20-mile firing range.
Jan Fourowls says
Also I gleaned some reports that IS is making a daily fortune, every day, one day after the other, selling contraband oil from captured oil field territory and other looted materials on the Islamic black market.
And Muslim Americans and Muslim Europeans are going in the thousands of jihadists with their still-valid passports to join IS. Which POTUS knows of course. If JW covered it and I could find it online independently in two minutes, Obama necessarily was briefed.
Also Obama necessarily knows about the Islamic terrorists crossing southern borders of the U.S. (Governor Perry apparently also told him, when Obama declined to visit the border in TX because he’s always too busy playing golf, or drinking beer as a photo op, or honoring Muslims during Ramadan.) Never have we faced this level of treachery in top American leadership.
John C. Barile says
I take that back somewhat. the IS is the most dangerous.
Jan Fourowls says
Thanks for the info — I hadn’t seen the journal report you mentioned. It is rather telling (which I appreciate you “get,” John, because of your comments among those so insightful here) that the MSM is basically ignoring IS while the Gaza-Israel fight and hand-wringers take up space about those “poor Palestinians.”

What surprises me most is what we hear about this would-be Khalifah, Ibrahim al-Baghdadi–cunning, ruthless, and a cleric and scholar. His assuming leadership of AQ in Iraq at age 40, his adept organizational skills, his audacity to assert authority over the Muslim nation–the Umma–as Caliph and to claim of descent from Mohammed, whose successor he would be; these things are eerily messianic and resemble the attributes of Islam’s Imam al-Mahdi.
John C. Barile says
Should read, “and to claim descent from Mohammed, whose successor he would be . . . .”

IN 1976, IRAQ PURCHASED AN OSIRIS
nuclear reactor from France for peaceful engery purposes. The purchase also included a smaller sister ISIS-type reactor. In 1979 when Saddam came to power he turned OSIRIS/ISIS into illegal weapons producing facilities that were destroyed by Israel in the necessary 1981 attack.
Now we have a military organization of Islamic terrorists called ISIS (which include former Saddam Baathists) in possesion of uranium which can be used to make deadly radiation bombs. Will Israel locate and destroy this ISIS uranium like it did Saddam’s OSIRIS/ISIS reactors? Who else is there to do it?
