On this Week’s Glazov Gang, the fearless, peerless Glazov was joined by Dr. Ari Babaknia, an Iranian-born doctor who wrote and published a 4-volume book in Farsi, The Holocaust. (In English, Humanity, NOT.) He came on the show to discuss Humanity, NOT, which takes an in-depth look, in words and images, at the captured emotions of the victims, perpetrators, bystanders, and survivors of the Holocaust, told in their own words. Dr. Babaknia focuses on the evil of genocide and when silence is not an option.

A very powerful edition of the Glazov Gang. Thank you, Dr. Ari Babaknia for writing your book.

I agree with Dr Babaknia that we should learn about the Holocaust, but I disagree with his criticism of Winston Churchill and Pope Pius XII. Churchill warned the British Government about Hitler throughout the 1930’s and he was called a warmonger. Pope Pius XII was praised at the time by Jewish organizations for speaking out against what was happening to the Jews in Germany. When the Nazis in Rome wanted to round up the Jews, Pope Pius XII ordered convents and monasteries to give refuge to the Jews. Jews were housed at Castel Gandolfo the Pope’s summer home. When the Roman Jews were ordered to pay the Nazis in gold, they turned to the Pope for help and he gave them gold from the Vatican treasures to pay the Nazis. Pius XII boyhood friend was Jewish and he did not regard the Jews as the “other”. In 1962 an East German Communist wrote a play called “The Deputy” in which he made out that Pius XII was indifferent or worse to the plight of the Jews. That started the revisionist history. Up until then the Pope had always been praised by Jewish organizations for his efforts to help the Jews. When he died in 1958, Golda Meier, the Israeli Prime Minister, said that Israel had lost a great friend. The collaborators with the Nazis were not the Allied leaders, they fought the Nazis and won. There was one obvious collaborator that Dr Babaknia never mentioned and that was the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, who spent the war in Germany and approved of Hitler’s “Final Solution” for the Jews.

What about the world’s indifference to the murder of Christians all over the Middle East. Where are the protests and the mass rallies? Where is the Obama administration?
John Magee says
The Nazi Holocaust against the Jews happened and it was pure evil. Stalin’s forced famine and the mass murder by starvation of 7-10 million Ukrainian Orthodox Christians and Eastern Catholic’s in union with Rome between 1931-1934 also happened. It’s called the Holomodor and receives almost no attention today whatsoever. Neither does the Turkish Muslim genocide of 2-3 million Armenian and Greek Eastern Orthodox Christians between 1914- 1922 get much attention today either. Right now in the Middle East ancient Christian communities are being destroyed by Muslim’s and the world media barely pays attention. Jews aren’t the only people who have been persecuted in history and are under attack today.
