“Costly and wasteful and pointless adventures in Iraq and Afghanistan”.
I couldn’t agree more. Sun Tzu said that there has never been a prolonged military campaign that was beneficial to a country. I will say that what ISIS is doing now, bulldozing down Mosques, is what the United States should have done 10 years ago. Strange that our enemies are doing our own work. Going into Iraq and Afghanistan, spending billions of dollars and suffering thousands of casualties to overthrow two Islamic governments, only to set up two new Shariah based Islamic governments in their place, will surely be a dark stain in America’s history, and will forever (rightfully) tarnish the memory of the most foolish man ever to hold the office of President, George W. Bush, along with the those in his administration whose naivete led to this mess.
These foolish academics who fought a war based on political correctness needlessly sacrificed thousands of lives on a fool’s errand.

“only to set up two new Shariah based Islamic governments in their place”
At least with Bush this was not the intent.
On the other hand, Obama sees “new Shariah based Islamic governments ” as the answer.

I found this interesting article on Academia.edu.
Like Spencer, it equates the barbaric campaigns of ISIS with the equally barbaric campaigns of Muhummad’s armies. It is a humorous, if chilling read.

This could be a good thing because everyone thinks they are right and wants to kill everyone that doesn’t agree in every way with them. And everyone sees themselves as the alpha dog. Massive dog fights usually kill all but one DOG and a few beaten down followers. Let them kill each other off. Their hatred destroys their own lives. I just feel sorry for the innocents caught in the middle of this nonsense.
In the real world…ten men are arguing over religion…which one is right? They all think they are right and have some special understanding. Bottom line…the Bible says ‘a violent man destroys his own life,’ and it is true.

Please be heartened Radio 640 KFI Los Angeles uses Jihad Watch as one of it’s primary information resources for information on this subject. I called attention to the coverage Jihad Watch had on the Nigerian school girl abduction the News director e-mailed me that they have used Jihad Watch as a primary source for info on the Boko Haram for a long time.

‘Fighting’ for the caliphate?….b…b…but Islam is the religion of peace!
Let’s all pretend that ‘it has nothing to do with Islam’ even if they self-consciously quote chapter and verse from Koran, hadiths and commentaries.
