Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Dearborn residents on terrorist watch list second only to New York

Aug 5, 2014 8:45 pm By Robert Spencer

dearborn-muslims“At 96,000 residents, Dearborn is much smaller than the other cities in the top five, suggesting that its significant Muslim population—40 percent of its population is of Arab descent, according to the U.S. Census Bureau—has been disproportionately targeted for watchlisting.” Hamas-linked CAIR is already manning the barricades over this, but after all, there is no effect without a cause. The idea that the Muslim residents of Dearborn were “disproportionately targeted for watchlisting” because of some official “racism” and “Islamophobia” is howlingly absurd. There is jihad activity among Muslims, including in the U.S., and so for authorities to be alert to that fact is entirely reasonable.

“Dearborn residents on terrorist watch list second only to New York, report says,” by Aysha Jamali, Press & Guide, August 5, 2014:

Dearborn School Board President Hussein Berry carries an American flag during an anti-terrorism protest at U.S. District Court in Detroit in 2010 during a hearing for Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the attempted bomber of Delta Flight 253 on Christmas Day 2009. File photo

Among the U.S. cities that have the most residents on the government’s terrorist watch list is one that stands out because of its comparatively small population: Dearborn.

Dearborn, a suburb of Detroit, was described by The Intercept, an online news site that reports on issues of national security, as having the second-highest concentration of people designated by the government as “known or suspected terrorists.”

The report said that Dearborn’s ranking, just behind New York City and ahead of Houston despite their significantly larger populations, has to do with its concentration of Arab and Muslim Americans.

Dearborn has the largest percentage of Arab Americans in the country, according to the report.

“At 96,000 residents, Dearborn is much smaller than the other cities in the top five, suggesting that its significant Muslim population—40 percent of its population is of Arab descent, according to the U.S. Census Bureau—has been disproportionately targeted for watchlisting,” the report said.

The top five U.S. cities on the watchlist for “known or suspected terrorists” are:

1. New York
2. Dearborn
3. Houston
4. San Diego
5. Chicago

I read today that the Federal watch list has 25,00 names on it, doubling in size within a short, recent span of years.

I thought the news gave a greater number than 25, 000 on the little scroll at the bottom of the news screen. But maybe I read it incorrectly.
In any case, not making any trips to Dearborn.

I understood that the low-ball figure was just those individuals within the United States alone. The larger figure–700,000 circa 2009, 1.5 million today–is the sum total worldwide.

You are seriously delusional if you think anyone gets paid to be critical of Islam in the comments section of a website.

But I do think the watch list numbers in the hundreds of thousands. Well, it was. Supposedly millions now. Probably loaded with “patriots, constitutionalists, TEA Party, and sovereign citizens” (whatever they are).*

What about the huge amount of Petro Dollar finance coming to the Muslims ( only Fundamentalists ? No ! Many others too ! ) from the oil-rich Middle Eastern Sheikhdoms ? All other payments for the “ghost writers” , if any , in USA simply pales compared to the Sheikhdom payments in the form of ” aid for building mosques ” or “to start and keep running the so called Islamic Learning Centres” and even for as rediculous as “importnig dates for feeding the poor Muslims ” !!!! Look at the number of Mosques that have mushroomed in Asia , Europe & north America in last 10 years !

But I just wondered where those particular guys had in mind. Were they thinking their “home town” or have they been watching the news and wanting to be in on the conflict in Israel, Syria or Iraq? Or maybe they’ve just been feeling neglected by those who wage the anti-jihad and did something to bring attention to themselves.

It has declared the occupied territory as Moslem Nation meant only for Moslems and the choice for non-Moslems is either to convert to Islam or leave that Islamic Nation ! This is happening in the 21st Century today ! ” All Moslems are not Terrorists BUT All Terrorists today are Moslems ” is a fact of life today ! Americans beware of your “Green” enemy today who is worse than your previous “Red” enemy ! Mind you the Reds killed your people , once in a while , mostly outside USA but the “Greens” live amongst you and have demonstrated that they can kill Americans in tens or hundred and , even , thousands ( as in 9/11 !)

It’s the theological equivalent of animals marking out territory by urinating — on the blood and bones of those they massacred to seize it. The whole Muslim world — every last square inch on Earth claimed by Muslims (whether informally in a vague context of cultural lore or more officially through the 57 nations organized under the Islamintern and Islaminform sociopolitical bloc, the O.I.C.)– was taken this way. This Muslim world continues to be defended on the basis of their supremacist offensively expansionist ideology that is the basis, explicit framework, and psychocultural inspiration for the world war they are waging against us now, and have been waging for fourteen centuries — a war that includes a symbiosis of violent attacks and taqiyya deception (the latter of which, in turn, depends upon our gullible PC MC belief that not all Muslims are our enemy and that we can base concrete policy upon this purely speculative axiom).

after all, there is no effect without a cause.

According to Muhammad Al-Ghazali there is. He was a proponent of occasionalism. “Causes” and “effects” are inadmissible because “causes” limit the power of allah. “Effects” are brought about not by “causes” but by the direct will of allah. It may seem that there are natural laws but they don’t exist, it’s just the way allah chooses to act. And yet, we’re supposed to believe that muslims in the middle ages were paragons of science. How the hell can you do science if you believe in allah’s whims over cause and effect?

CAIR is probably already collaborating with ACLU to bring a lawsuit against watch lists in general after the 2010 – 2014 judicial saga ending the No-Fly List mismanaged on purpose (I surmise) by Obama/Holder. This article about the watch list’s top five cities just signals the Islamist warm-up to that game.

By use of the term Islamist, I refer to Muslims who take the Quran at face value (which they all do as a foundation of “faith” if they follow Islam) and are therefore intolerant, discriminatory, hostile, violent and/or deceptive in their zeal for a Muslim-only world run by cruel men with the women relegated mainly to breeding stock roles sequestered at home where the Quran-authorized wife-beating bruises don’t show underneath the burkas.

From all I can tell, nobody in Congress, NSA, CIA, FBI, Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines is trying to do anything to get the No-Fly List back on track in response to the judicial evisceration of its use. And Obama of course doesn’t want a No-Fly List because he and his brother Malik Obama have each made clear their Islamist loyalties by countless acts, omissions, public photos and veiled threats to non-Muslims who are to be deprived of a future if they “slander” the prophet of Islam who (1) denied the divinity of the Jewish Jesus Christ Who founded Christianity, (2) relegated Him to a lesser prophet stature than Muhammad’s, and (3) basically schemed against and loathed both Christians and Jews in the name of “Allah”.

    Re: San Diego:
Now that Obama has unsecured the southern US borders and sold off ships at the Navy Base in San Diego — and reduced the US armed forces and equipment for the homeland while tens of thousands of Muslim-Americans have gone to IS (Islamic State) on their unrevoked passports to learn jihad wearing black face masks for anonymity and then to bring the violence back home to us — it makes sense that San Diego (not such a big town) would be a whopping number 4 on the Watch List for US cities with the most known or suspected terrorists.

    Re: Dearborn and Chicago:
They’re an easy car ride away from each other (don’t even need to book a hotel overnight), and Chicago, renowned as a politically corrupt American city for most of its history, spawned Obama and his protégé Rahm Emanuel (with an uncertain loyalty to the God of the Torah and Ten Commandments) as its current mayor. Makes sense they might rumble in Dearborn-Chicago, and have all the covert support to do so.

    Re: Houston:
Taking out the infrastructure of the Bible Belt Christians based in “don’t mess with Texas” might just be a sick thrill to anybody sadistic enough to want to read and study the violent sadism of the Quran. Plus Houston is up the road from the Navy base in Corpus Christi, TX, as well as TX oil refineries and other military infrastructure between Corpus and the southern TX border of the U.S. down into MX and Central America where Obama’s buddy the murderous Ceren runs El Salvador (home to the most vicious and torturing drug cartel dudes imaginable, the Boko Haram of drug dealers).

    Re: New York:
A re-do of 9/11 so it’s 3 million instead of 3,000 dead (this time perhaps with the airborne Ebola released in the subway system of NYC and all the Burroughs at rush hour all week long), the big apple rotted, the symbol of American financial markets taken down to rally the lower-level violent jihadists while the rich guys like Iran’s Ayatollah with his $60 billion personal fortune know that the market’s games at his level aren’t happening anymore in NYC anyway.

All of this is just my speculation about Islamist reasons of what they might be planning for their top five U.S. cities, along the outlines of factually corroborated adult novels at your library but updated to today’s current events. Truth may become stranger than fiction!

In terms of the concentration of the Muslim population on the watch list’s top five cities fitting with Islamist military strategy, if you’ll indulge more hypothesizing based on current events —

Taking over the U.S. by Islamofascists won’t be as easy as it was for the Fascists to take over Norway in 1940, for instance, just by steaming into the harbor. The U.S. would need to be conquered at points of critical military and supply infrastructure, e.g.:

      Chicago as mega-city hub for taking down the heartland (helped by violent rioting Dearborn Muslim thug power driving over, and the pipeline to Obama for his propaganda to the rest of the nation about it);

      New York as controlling power on the East Coast (symbolic, too, because of 9/11);

Houston (a major oil city also tied to the Central Coast of the Gulf and its military defenses); and

San Diego (easy access across the land and water borders of the West Coast, and military barracks for the IS army already built on the Navy base).

This ties in nicely (if you’re an Islamist) with the Muslim population centers I’ve seen depicted on U.S. maps, showing Muslims in America congregated along traffic corridor routes (for instance, along the I-5 in Shasta County, CA, and along the Interstate in a small town between Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN). Ebola’s now in that area thanks to our pro-Islam president, but I’m really not trying to write a novel here!

Ebola is in the USA because an American Christian medical missionary contracted it in an African country and was medically evacuated. He is an American citizen, so why should he *not* have been thus evacuated, to his home country? Had he caught any *other* serious illness, he would have been similarly evacuated.

It appears very probable that he will recover, and that is what you should be praying for. What the medical folks learn as they care for him, will assist in increasing knowledge of the disease and, therefore, knowledge of how to treat and contain it.

I see no reason on earth to indulge in conspiracy theories nor to panick unduly.

When the disease was first recognised by western medicine in the Congo, decades ago, a French medical team were able to contain the outbreak, *without* benefit of all the tools we now have. One of the people they treated – who contracted the disease but, with care, survived – is now himself an excellent medical worker.

Ebola is *not* as easy to catch or transmit as the common cold.

Careful “barrier nursing” of victims, great care in the disposal of those who die, the imposition of quarantines and the liberal use of disinfectants such as chlorine are all quite effective to prevent transmission and spread.

          Aug 6, 2014 at 1:05 am

dumbledoresarmy – you show a surprising faith in the mainstream media. Also you need not presume to tell me what I should be praying for, because the Ebola-infected doctor and missionary would have been better off staying in Africa for Ebola survivor blood transfusions available not available in the U.S. but in Africa, a treatment topic which you seem to know nothing about.

What follows this paragraph is the more accurate picture about deadly Ebola, a complex retrovirus that the better science indicates is mutating to airborne capacity (also explaining the rapid expansiveness of Ebola in West Africa now). Because Ebola goes dormant, however, once it is in a country’s DNA, we may not see it right away wreaking havoc in the U.S. — or maybe God’s hand will be with the U.S. despite treachery of the top leaders and we’ll be just fine. I hope so. Meanwhile I’ll take health and safety precautions.

The good Tennessee Doctor who has quarantined himself up the road from Atlanta (after African exposure but not symptoms) has done the right thing clearly. It takes more than a sound bite (although Ebola definitely bites big) to validate the rightness of his action after his seeing Ebola up close — as it exists as an evolving retrovirus in 2014 — and being unable to keep from becoming infected himself.

Ebola is the deadliest retrovirus known to man as to which CDC’s own website has airborne safety precautions even for suspected Ebola. The transporters in transportation-hub Atlanta as pictured bringing the Ebola-infectious missionary in on a stretcher did not appear by news photos to be even up to par with the CDC’s risk precautions for handling suspected Ebola. Also the Ebola-infected missionary and doctor in Atlanta will not have access to the one most useful treatment — antibody-laden blood transfusions from the 10% of infected Ebola patients who have survived in West Africa not because it is curable with medicine but because their immune systems were sufficiently strong with supportive nursing care. There is no good reason to have brought the Ebola-infected missionary and doctor here for care (when they cannot even get survivor blood transfusions because there’s not yet a survivor group in the U.S. and would never have been without the U.S. government seemingly bent on importing Ebola here).

There’s no good reason to have exposed over 300 million Americans who until last week had 100% chance of not getting Ebola in the U.S. but now are geographically exposed to what CDC admits on its website is possible airborne transmission (never unproven) of Ebola and Canadian Public Health in 2012 proved to be airborne transmission in pigs. (Ebola is transmitted trans-species to humans through the food supply of eaten animals in Africa, as well as likely by air since 2012, not only based on the 2012 Canadian science but also because it is the type of retrovirus to change and develop that airborne capability.)

How many industrial pig farms are there in GA and the southeast to increase the odds of spreading Ebola? Over 100 in GA alone when I last counted. Oh, and Ebola as a virus is known to have gone dormant for as long as fifteen years, before epidemic outbreak. (Source: Natural Sciences: “Facts on Ebola Virus: Human and Animal Outbreaks.”) Hence, once Ebola is in a country’s DNA so to speak, there are cycles of dormancy, then outbreak of epidemic, then more dormancy, then the horror show starts again.

For over ten years, scientists have known and warned about Ebola’s likely transmission via birds (and think of all the industrial chicken farms near Atlanta and in the agricultural southeast), see, e.g., http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2003/02/0219_030219_ebolaorigin_2.html

More recently on July 29, 2014 the National Geographic article on “deadly Ebola” by Karen Weintraub stated: “… it’s still in America’s interest to control the disease in West Africa ….” Oops, too late now, to our peril as Americans in the dormancy and outbreak cycles of the deadly Ebola virus.

On the same date Obama imported deadly Ebola to the U.S., according to the CDC by its public website about Ebola: “Airborne transmission was considered as a possible explanation for a hospital-associated cluster of Lassa [viral hemorrhagic] fever infections in which the index patient had severe pulmonary involvement, but the mode of transmission for that outbreak was not determined. … Although unproven, airborne transmission of VHF [Ebola] is a hypothetical possibility during procedures that may generate aerosols.”

The CDC’s extensive, detailed risk precautions for even suspected Ebola include: “Patients with respiratory symptoms also should wear a face mask to contain respiratory droplets prior to placement in their hospital or examination room and during transport (www.cdc.gov/flu/professionals/infectioncontrol/resphygie ne.htm). … face shields or surgical masks and eye protection (e.g., goggles or eyeglasses with side shields) should be worn by persons coming within approximately 3 feet of the patient. …if copious amounts of blood, other body fluids, vomit, or feces are present in the environment, plastic apron, leg, and shoe coverings also may be needed….hospitals may choose to use Airborne Precautions for patients with suspected VHF … to prevent possible exposure to airborne particles that may contain virus [Ebola].”

In November 2012 by a report still online, Canadian scientists including Dr. Gary Kobinger from the National Microbiology Laboratory at the Public Health Agency of Canada, as reported then by Matt McGrath, Science reporter, BBC World Service, shared their Ebola scientific research because they had proven that the deadliest form of the Ebola virus was being spread by airborne droplets from the respiratory tracts of pigs to monkeys without any physical contact between them. The scientific report stated: “The researchers say they believe that limited airborne transmission might be contributing to the spread of the disease in some parts of Africa. They are concerned that pigs might be a natural host for the lethal infection.” The report showed a piglet with a runny nose snuggling next to a barnyard chicken, for the obvious risk-factor implication.

2014 industrial pig farming practices in Georgia and the rest of the southeastern U.S. are politically fraught with issues which until this week did not even include the risk — because until this week there was no active infectious Ebola in humans inside the U.S. — that Ebola might invade pigs who’d pass the virus further inter-species by airborne transmission and/or to birds. The nature of the pig farming risk as it may relate to Ebola transmission is captured in an August 25, 2013 article by AP’s Ray Henry from the Athens [GA] Banner Herald whose reporting included: ‘ “We’ve just seen the disastrous effect of these concentrated hog facilities” in eastern North Carolina, said Mark Woodall, chair of the Georgia chapter of the Sierra Club. “We just think it’s a terrible threat to the water quality of all of rural Georgia.” ‘

The CDC website restated the warning a second time in its public record online: “The natural reservoir host of ebolaviruses, and the manner in which transmission of the virus to humans occurs, remain unknown. [Even WHO admits the highly infectious hemorrhagic fever Ebola contamination routes through sweat, vomit, saliva, feces, semen, urine and/or blood. Ebola began in humans near the Ebola River in Africa for which the disease is named, so its etiology may obviously involve water transmission channels.] This makes risk assessment in endemic areas difficult. With the exception of several laboratory contamination cases (one in England and two in Russia), all cases of human illness or death have occurred in Africa; no case has been reported in the United States.”

Obviously no case reported in the United States until now when the U.S. invited the deadly Ebola virus to come right in as if human containment procedures due to the “given” of human error are ever 100% no matter the good intentions of all involved. (What road is paved with good intentions?)

The appropriate risk assessment about 2014 Ebola would have needed to determine if in the Atlanta transportation mega-airport and interstate highway hub to the rest of the U.S., including countless crowded industrial pig farms releasing hog waste into ground and water sources as well as pig aerosol droplets and cross-species contamination with chickens and migratory birds, it could ever at any time make sense to lift what until this week had been a policy and practice in the U.S. — indeed the worldwide public health safety practice — of containing Ebola to the country (not the U.S.) where it originated based on standard medical procedures of national quarantine against an enemy viral invader.

Over a decade ago before the current epidemic in West Africa indicating Ebola mutation, the National Geographic News in its article by Stefan Lovgren, February 19, 2003 concluded: “Some scientists already worry that Ebola could mutate and become airborne. Recent outbreaks have suggested it can evolve on its own. All the Ebola subtypes have shown the ability to be spread through airborne particles under research conditions.”

Any sane person would not want to invite active infectious Ebola into the U.S. when all reasonable, collectively sane and prudent containment protocols for the incurable highly infectious 90% fatal disease would direct otherwise. Ebola kills in a truly horrifying and excruciatingly painful manner without regard to politics, gender, national origin, race, creed or color – deadly Ebola is a fully equal opportunity killer and now over 300 million Americans are at risk when last week they had 100% chance of not suffering Ebola if they stayed in the U.S. instead of traveling to W. Africa.

The CDC obviously cannot guarantee 100% containment of any infectious disease, because nobody can and they in particular have proven it. Moreover there are still many unknowns about how Ebola is transmitted, perhaps because relatively few top science researchers want the gig handling the 90% fatal incurable Ebola virus whose physical symptoms make the horror movie physical symptoms of a zombie conversion start to look preferable.

CDC examples of past outbreaks: 1976 Sudan -“… Disease was spread mainly through close personal contact within hospitals. Many medical care personnel were infected.” 1995 Democratic Republic of the Congo – “…Traced to index case-patient … Epidemic spread through families and hospitals.” 1996 South Africa – “A medical professional traveled from Gabon to Johannesburg, South Africa, after having treated Ebola virus-infected patients and thus having been exposed to the virus. He was hospitalized, and a nurse who took care of him became infected and died.” [Many more high-risk examples from CDC, public record, 5-second google search; note Johannesburg, South Africa, has a modern medical system similar to U.S., and this is further proof that adequate care for the Ebola-infected doctor and missionary now in Atlanta could have reasonably occurred on the same continent where they contracted this disease with its 90% fatality rate wherever it exists in the world. Until this week, the U.S was not one of those places, until our own government invited it in. We ought to hope the Tennessee doctor does not become another source of active infectious Ebola, for his own sake and for ours.]

“… the Ebola-infected doctor and missionary would have been better off staying in Africa for Ebola survivor blood transfusions not available in the U.S. but available in Africa, a treatment topic which you seem to know nothing about.”

P.S. dumbledoresarmy and readers here – Also to keep my reply from being a book, I used shorthand on what is complex science.

For instance, Ebola has a retrovirus-like glycoprotein peptide in its immunopathogenesis similar to the retroviruses carried by birds — and thus is often scientifically analyzed as if a retrovirus
          — although it is technically still considered a filovirus.

Most people don’t care about that level of detail and language parsing, but in case you do, below is a link to an article written by infectious disease researchers including from the CDC back in 2006 — the research being 8 years ago which should also prove no good reason for the propaganda press pretending that it was necessary to bring Ebola-infected patients to the U.S. in 2014 where their infection did not originate in order for the CDC to study Ebola care practices which (1) of course CDC had already detailed on its website long before the 2014 invitation of Ebola to the U.S., and (2) could more appropriately occur in Africa as the country of origin in any of the many modern hospital facilities there:

i agree with Dumbledore’s Army—I’ve been rather appalled to hear people opine that these brave American doctors should be abandoned by their own country.

And even worse than the short-sighted view of abandoning these Americans out of fear is the idea that their having treating vulnerable people is—somehow—some sort of plot to bring the disease into the US.

There are enough genuine threats—see the Jihadists in the story above—without imagining plots where there are none.

I disagree, Graven, and “abandoning” these American doctors is not the intention being expressed here, but rather a prescription for taking precautions to protect *others* from Ebola within the United States. He said that that necessary resources should have been sent there, rather than infected persons here, given the lethal virulence and multiple means of transmission of this virus. He didn’t mention potential dormancy or mutability as I recall, but did note that the virus could survive outside its hosts–environmentally exposed, that is–for three weeks.

There is, for example I’ve now learned, a N95 series mask made by 3M approved in the 1860 and 1870 model numbers for healthcare settings that medical supply websites seem to carry, and safety goggles are available lots of places. Your local home improvement supply store might have something in stock as mask and goggles that’d be better than nothing if you’re planning to be in airports and on planes.

The exposed but asymptomatic doctor after treating African Ebola patients who’s returned and quarantined himself in his E. Tennessee home for the incubation period (infection to onset of symptoms) of 2 to 21 days has the right idea.

One thing (relatively good to the overall horror) about those merely potentially exposed is that if it’s really Ebola, the onset of debilitating symptoms after incubation is so rapid the sufferers usually don’t get too far on their own steam so as to convulsively throw off their bodily fluids like blood in public — more the reason, however, we need extra cautions about those possibly infectious yet not yet convulsively symptomatic with Ebola now that we know the “airborne spread among humans is strongly suspected…” http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/lab-bio/res/psds-ftss/ebola-eng.php (Public Health Agency of Canada, Ebola Virus) — Canada’s current info on its website.

Somehow “strongly suspected” Ebola airborne transmission just isn’t the same as the claims I’ve seen all over the internet in supposedly reliable channels that Ebola is transmitted by all the bodily fluids (including sweat and saliva) but not airborne.

Keeping ourselves from being infected in the first place if at all possible, after being told the real risks — certainly the best idea despite what our government does and does not do to the contrary!

The problem is not primarily that Muslims will be able to conquer America — they probably won’t be able to (if one sees the forest for the trees — the stupendous disparity between the superiority of our sociocultural infrastructure and the inferiority of theirs). But merely in trying but failing to succeed in that desideratum of theirs, through various terror attacks that require long-range planning and deep infiltration into our society (itself enabled by our PC MC mainstream who continue to insist that “not all Muslims” are bad (a PC MC notion that has even seeped into the bloodstream of the Counter-Jihad)), they could wreak untold mayhem, misery and mass-murder on American soil.

Refocusing the problem this way will help to effectively neutralize any voices that consider the prospect of Islamic conquest so outlandish it shouldn’t even be considered — and so outlandish that any other concerns are put on the same “Islamophobic” train.

Richie re: welfare — In areas of the U.S. over the past 15 years where I’ve lived or worked in coast-to-coast multi-ethnic communities including women wearing burkas or hajibs and Westernized shoulder-to-toe shroudings (presumed Muslim as that is an emblem of their submission compared to men) — they have generally had so many children in tow and/or double-decker strollers while walking to and from shopping areas instead of driving, it would appear that their lack of vehicular transportation and children levels might qualify them for welfare.

Since Obama/2008 I’ve seen reports that assets like vehicles are no longer counted the way they once were in disqualifying people for welfare, but in most areas of the U.S. due to infrequently adequate mass transit, not having a car of some type to run shopping errands is a reflection of living at or below the poverty level.

I’m no expert on this but from working with church groups alongside the U.S. with its hybrid federal/state system of sometimes conflicting qualifying rules, anyone at or below the poverty level with children would probably get: food assistance (usually not enough per person to actually buy adequate food), bulk food bank distributions (also not really close to enough), housing and utilities assistance (only partial help by cost reduction in the U.S., maybe 25 – 45% below market, never a free ride), medical care (could be 100% coverage if sufficiently low income in some states, maybe rudimentary dental coverage, too, but probably not from a dentist you’d want to visit), and some income support tied to requirements about parents looking for work in a bureaucratically overseen system to qualify them for the continuing assistance, with government-subsidized jobs via tax credits in industries where most people would rather never work — mothers exempted from job-hunting and having to work during each pregnancy and for some period of time after giving birth, which tends to increase the numbers of children in welfare families.

Whenever I’ve seen the $ numbers of what’s given out via welfare compared to the cost of living in the U.S. I’ve never understood how anybody could live and raise children on it. It’s structured that way on purpose as an incentive to encourage getting a better education, a better job, but those ideals can be illusory for some highly oppressed people; plus the economy’s way worse than being reported for regular working folks.

It’s a complex problem for the Muslim mothers and children, not of their making, and the Muslim men I’ve seen in community (usually shopping) by their fiercely aggressive body language, decisive walking in front of and never beside the women and children, and sharp tones of voice with their families seem not at all caring or “moderate” in the sense of seeming likely candidates to carry out the Quran’s hostile directions if an Islamic army were ever here to support them doing so.

Basically I love communicating with people, never met a stranger, except that the Muslims encountered in daily activity in the U.S. do not seem at all friendly or even marginally civil the way most people are able to be when shopping in a diverse crowd. It’s a commonality of uncivilized harshness I’m not the only one to have noticed.

I used to try to go the extra mile with engaging smiles (that have worked to start conversations with strangers my whole life) but it gets me nowhere with Muslims so I no longer try. Also JW reports that sometimes they taqiyya-turn on non-Muslims and claim to have been harassed, which is a problem obviously if their taqiyya-tag team is manning the local police station, for example. So, I’m opting lately (with the exception of one vetted Christian convert family at our church) for staying safely outside the Muslim ambit, even going in another direction physically to avoid close contact. (Other bigger concerns to address.)

The only reciprocally friendly overtures I’ve heard about from U.S. Muslims to non-Muslims were imams to pastors for the interfaith faux equivalency, job-required contacts, governmental politics, the obvious public relations, and Muslims under age 30 putting on the friendly face to proselytize Islam to lukewarm or backsliding Christians.

Growing up in multi-cultural environments, living on this continent and another, I can avow that this is not at all about race, color or national origin because apart from the Muslims of whatever race, color or national origin they might be, I’ve never experienced the same hostility as a vibe given off that the Muslims I’ve encountered give off — and which never made sense to me until I read the discriminatory, intolerant, hostile, violent and deceitful scheming directions of the Quran.

Any people trying sincerely to live their lives by that book would necessarily become just as mean-spirited (or just as calculated in deceiving non-Muslims) as its stomach-turning words. If they can become desensitized to the horrific words of the Quran, more proof that it evilly brainwashes them to read and recite it. Truly sad, and I pray more might sincerely convert to any faith (not including Satanism) but Islam, and find infinite love. Jesus Christ is the Savior I’d recommend for Muslims wanting an assurance of eternal salvation, and maybe some of them read here and might one day ask Him to show them Who He really is and what God’s love really involves — never genocide, never terrorism, never the false claim of peace on earth from Muslims eradicating all non-Muslims.

      Aug 6, 2014 at 3:31 am

Oh, Cat, it did make me laugh! If we’re reading here, there’s probably agreement that none of us want to live under Islam!

If you’ll indulge my sharing in order to be helpful, important about Ebola is that the risks of infection can be managed much better by all of us if we’re not deluded by the propaganda press about how it is likely transmitted and the high likelihood that there’s now an airborne component.

Also people need to know that Ebola can go dormant once it enters a country’s geographic DNA, so to speak, which means the absence of a U.S. Ebola outbreak in the near future does not mean we should be casual as if it never came to the U.S. Dormancy of Ebola is always followed by outbreak from the science I’ve seen. (References in the prior long comment. Also indicated by the sporadic but virulent examples on the sheet linked by CDC to its website.)

What can be done as precautionary measures? Now that Ebola’s here, I’ll look into the options for health-mask face gear as may be appropriate to wear in airports and other crowded public places. I’d plan to keep the dated receipt and proof of purchase description with my wallet to prove to any “officials,” if questioned, that I voluntarily bought it for protection instead of a clinic or hospital requiring me to wear it. Lots of people already wear respiratory protection in public spaces during colds/flu season and it would be a similar but even more important precaution because Ebola if contracted is so serious. So much worse than the common cold/flu that it is like comparing a minnow to a piranha.

For hand cleaning, since Ebola is a virus, we’ll need to use hot water and soap instead of antibacterial gels. Hand washing more often and always before eating probably now makes sense as a precaution. We will also want to be much more careful about all bodily fluids in public restrooms.

A friend in the RN management field also recommends as advance Ebola-protection: consistently good hydration, no skimping on protein, supplemental vitamins, and consistently sufficient rest.

After taking reasonable precautions, all any of us can do is hope for the best and, if we’re praying people, pray. Then go forth to enjoy our day. There have always been unnecessary risks in the world created by other people; Ebola in America just joins that list.

It would be a silly conspiracy theory, wouldn’t it, to take what has been known by scientists for over 10 years about the likelihood that at least one place Ebola can hide when it’s dormant from infecting humans is in bats, e.g., http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2003/02/0219_030219_ebolaorigin.html, and then to combine that with what we know about Atlanta being one of countless American places where the “bat control” problem is big enough to require calling in professionals, e.g., http://www.georgiabatcontrol.com/, who advise Atlantans: “Bats are protected in the United States and should never be killed or harmed. Harming a bat carries severe fines and possibly jail time! … Bats are territorial and they will normally stay in your area once they have been excluded. If the building has not been properly sealed, the bats will enter another opening in the same building. Bats only need an opening that is ¼ inch by 1½ inch, the thickness of a standard number two pencil. If any of your neighbors have these conditions the bats may end up there.”

The problem with watch-lists is the disproportional attention paid to marginal and/or ideologically mis-identified extremist/terrorist groups. An essay I wrote about an aspect of this may interest some readers. Here is an extended quote from it (but there is much more at the original essay and its other two essays internally linked therein):

“[Reverend Jim Sutter, the loony critic of Islamocritics] marshals two supposedly major and weighty beanhills of evidence to prove that non-Islamist terrorism is a far more important and deadly concern for the U.S.A. (and, apparently, by extension, for the world) than Islamist terrorism is.

“The first is a seemingly impressive list of terrorist groups that are supposed to be a current danger, and which, as he claims has, collectively, accounted for “546 terrorist incidents, 4,170 injuries, 3,228 fatalities” (not counting the deaths from 911, of course).

“Each terrorist group listed by RJS is a link to its description on a website that monitors and reports about terrorist groups around the world, the MIPT Terrorism Knowledge Base. Well, I clicked on a random sample among the 61 listed, and here was what I found: virtually every one I randomly sampled is, by the analysis of the website that RJS himself adduced, no longer a threat! They are deemed to be defunct! And of the one or two that remain a threat, the quality of the threat is far, far milder than what threatens various countries around the world from Muslim terrorists. In addition, there are subtle factors in the following descriptions that tend to undermine the apparent claim of RJS about this matter. I.e., the very evidence RJS marshals undercuts the very same thesis he is propounding.”

Islam NEEDS to be made illegal! It has to be! Spencer proves that point with EVERY SINGLE Jihad Watch article he publishes.

Detroit has had problems, but not ones like this. I mean, every society with Muslims as the majority ALWAYS goes to hell. Islam never improves a society, it only makes it collapse. The entire Middle East, Indonesia, and other African countries are proof of that.

We can only have peace when Islam is GONE.

I say America needs to do the following:

    1) Registration act: Find all Muslims and force them to register their names, family, marital status, and worship centers (Mosques)

    2) After that, rework the amendments so that anything that’s a threat to our freedom and civil rights is declared unsuitable and incompatible with our rights, with Islam up on top of the list.

    3) Ban the burqua, Quran/Hadith collections/ and have municipalities take back the property with mosques.

    4) Final Solution: Deport/Expel Muslims, the same way Rome expelled the Jews (except this time, they won’t come back). Nullify passports, stop immigration, reroute immigrants,

    5) Demolish all mosques

    6) Ban Arab names and characters/text

    7) Ban all pro-Palestine protests and label them as anti-semitic and a violation of Jewish rights.

    8) Close down all US embassies in the Middle East and other Muslim countries and pull out our people from Saudi Arabia (Stop taking their oil and stop giving the Middle East financial backing).

    9) Implement women’s rights to make Islam misogyny a thing of the past

    10) Arrest any pro-Palestinian protestors (lethal force authorized).

    11) Federal monitoring of Arab/Persian/Afghan/Kurdish/Turkish/Indonesian/Druze/Somalian/ whatever communities for extra safety — monitor and install surveillance and detectors in their community gatherings

    THEN WE’LL HAVE PEACE!

Responding to Jay Boo – In point of fact I did not initiate writing about Ebola at any length in my comment initially about the top 5 US cities for suspected Islamic terrorists, but only provided a researched series of corrections to the 6-paragraph reply of dumbledoresarmy regarding Ebola which my research indicated was dangerously inaccurate.

After detailing concerns about all 5 US cities from a JW perspective, my concluding paragraph of the comment (to which dumbledoresarmy made his 6-paragraph reply) was as follows:

“This ties in nicely (if you’re an Islamist) with the Muslim population centers I’ve seen depicted on U.S. maps, showing Muslims in America congregated along traffic corridor routes (for instance, along the I-5 in Shasta County, CA, and along the Interstate in a small town between Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN). Ebola’s now in that area thanks to our pro-Islam president, but I’m really not trying to write a novel here!”

We’re all adults here. What one person thinks is off topic might be what floats somebody else’s boat. Has anybody as a commenter been designated the ad hominem attack-arbiter of what can and can’t be written about on JW’s comment screens? I didn’t think so.

True, Jan! …I observed the same thing, as well; and I was getting ready to write Jay Boo and explain this to him, so I’m glad you wrote him instead. Take care!

      **Excellent** point, Jan FourOwls.

‘Jay Boo’ appears to think he is not only Troll Finder-General, but has a right to make snide remarks about other posters’ comments, accusing them of all sorts of underhand things, as he did to Alarmed Pig Farmer, on another thread.

Arrogant, , pompous, and irritating. I’m glad you sat on it.

Thank you for the information you provided, Jan. I, for one (or two, with Champ) certainly appreciated it. I already knew most of it; but one thing that bothers me that we know absolutely nothing about, and that is INSECT vectors. Is this possible? Who knows? But there are insect vectors for an entire smorgasbord of nasty diseases.

The other question I have is: if a person infected with ebola manages to survive (which some do), can they become “carriers”? There are many survivors in Africa right now reluctant to return to their home villages because they are uncertain how they will be treated. Is it possible that an ebola survivor can become a “Typhoid Mary” (of ebola, not Typhus)? Their blood now carries antibodies to the virus, which may be very helpful, but can there be a downside?

Unfortunately, there is too much about this nasty disease which we do not know. However, I agree with you that any care and/or research should have been carried out where the patients became infected, and NOT brought here. “Isolation” of particularly nasty, contagious and deadly diseases should be the first action. NOT transporting it to an area which has NEVER suffered an outbreak of that disease.

I am not without a heart and I pray for the recovery of the doctor and his assistant; however NOT at the risk of exposing this country and its people to this disease. But I guess with what has been happening on our southern border recently this may be a moot point.

This is the second time you’ve mentioned this, Jan.

But my father and one of my brothers live in rural California north of Redding, and the Muslim population there is close to nonexistent.

There is an “Islamic Center” in Redding itself—but apart from that, there is virtually no Muslim presence in Shasta county at all. It is *certainly* not an area where Muslims are congregating.

People there are mostly mainstream Christian, with a heavily “born-again” element.

It’s known for rodeos, a strawberry festival, and an air show. There’s a Native American Pow-Wow held in Stillwater. Lots of hiking, hunting, and fishing.

Here’s the Association of Religion Data Archives, which for 2010 estimated that the Muslim population of Shasta County was .2%.

This is considerably below national estimates.

      http://www.thearda.com/rcms2010/r/c/06/rcms2010_06089_county_name_2010.asp

The poll—which covered 27% of the county’s population—confirmed a grand total of…just 35 individuals. Estimating upwards, that would mean a Muslim population of about 140 people.

This, in an area of 3,847 sq miles.

Also, I-5 in Shasta County is not often a “traffic corridor route”, except occasionally on holiday weekends like Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, or Labor Day, when you find a lot of people from out of the area heading for the National Parks. Apart from that, you’re more likely to find yourself behind a line of logging trucks than in a traffic jam.

There *are* areas in the US where the burgeoning Muslim population is a disturbingly growing threat—Dearborn, Minneapolis, the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC.

But rural northern California is—at least as of this writing—not one of regions.

This does not surprise me—where Muslims gather in sufficient numbers, the threat of Jihad terrorism *always* spikes.

I think Michigan and New York need to start over. Ship all the muslim believers to a location where they can all live and then fill the states with Americans. And Americans need to start being fruitful and multiply. We are being over run by people from other places who do not care about our values, they are changing everything we know and love. Our women want careers instead of children. Children are a gift from God and we need them and all the gifts we can get!!!!!!!
