Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Former Australian army chief: “Australia is involved in the early stages of a war which is likely to last for the rest of the century”

Aug 8, 2014 4:13 pm By Robert Spencer

PeterLeahyAssuming that there are sufficient numbers of free people left in 100 years to continue the fight, the struggle will go on far longer than that. It will continue as long as there are people who believe that their god commands them to wage war against and subjugate those who believe differently. Peter Leahy’s assessment has the appearance of being tough-minded and realistic, but actually it is quite rose-colored.

“We’ll fight Islam for 100 years, says ex-army head Peter Leahy,” by Brendan Nicholson, The Australian, August 9, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):

AUSTRALIA needs to prepare for an increasingly savage, 100-year war against radical Islam that will be fought on home soil as well as foreign lands, the former head of the army, Peter Leahy, has warned.

Professor Leahy, a leading defence and strategic analyst, told The Weekend Australian the country was ill-prepared for the high cost of fighting a war that would be paid in “blood and treasure” and would require pre-emptive as well as reactive action.

“Australia is involved in the early stages of a war which is likely to last for the rest of the century,” he said. “We must be ready to protect ourselves and, where necessary, act pre-emptively to neutralise the evident threat. Get ready for a long war.”

Senior intelligence officials have moved to shore up public support for the Abbott government’s tough new security laws, including enhanced data-retention capabilities enabling agencies to track suspect computer usage.

Australian Security Intelligence Organisation director-general David Irvine said the proposed data laws, which require phone and internet companies to retain records for two years, were “absolutely crucial” to counter the jihadist terror threat.

The government’s security package also includes a $630 million funding boost to intelligence agencies and police to help prevent domestic terrorist attacks.

Professor Leahy — a former lieutenant general who ran the army for six years, from 2002-2008 — said the threat of radical Islam would require action on several fronts, including a strengthening of controls against biological, chemical and nuclear attacks.

It would also include greater protection for critical infrastructure and iconic targets against attack.

The Western withdrawal from Afghanistan did not constitute the end of the so-called war on terror, “nor, as was claimed by prime minister Julia Gillard, in January 2013, a transition from the 9/11 decade”, he said.

Michael Krause, a former senior Australian Army officer responsible for planning the coalition campaign in Afghanistan, said he agreed “absolutely” with Professor Leahy. “I have seen these people,” the retired major general said.

“I know how they think. I know how they fight. There is no compromise possible.

“These long wars require long commitment to outlast radical ideas and provide viable, meaningful alternatives which require a whole-of-government response, rather than assuming the military can or should do it all.’’

Professor Leahy said politicians needed to “develop an honest and frank dialogue” with the Australian public.

“They should advance a narrative that explains that radical Islamism and the terrorism it breeds at home and abroad will remain a significant threat for the long term, it will require considerable effort, the expenditure of blood and treasure and it will, of necessity, restrict our rights and liberties,” he said.

Professor Leahy is the director of Canberra University’s National Security Institute and part of the Abbott government’s team carrying out a comprehensive review of Defence.

He said radical Islamists intent on a new world order were already a threat to the survival of nations in the Middle East and Africa.

If the declared caliphate in Syria and Iraq survived, bases would be established there for attacks on the West and that would embolden “home grown” radicals to attempt attacks in Australia. Military action would be needed to eliminate the threat.

Radicals saw the West as “the far enemy” and they were undoubtedly planning more attacks in Australia. Senior intelligence believes the view that the threat posed by radical Islam would pass was “optimistic”.

Mr Irvine, who took the unusual step of speaking to the media yesterday, said the current terrorism threat level of “medium” meant that a terrorism “event” in Australia was likely.

“Where our volume of work has increased is that this event could occur in a dozen different places now, whereas before it was in a small, refined area,” he said.

Professor Leahy said that when Australia did choose to be involved its aims must be measured and realistic, with nations under the greatest threat from radical Islamists supported while care was taken not to inflame local tensions.

The solution had to come from within the Muslim world, which so far seemed disinclined or unable to imagine a path to peace.

Professor Leahy said the threat was likely to worsen as radicals returned from overseas and the internet dumped Islamist propaganda into Australian
living rooms.

Some efforts at deradicalisation had begun but a much greater effort must be made to engage Muslim clerics and Islamic thought leaders to debunk radical ideologies being offered to young Australians.

Good luck with that. While it is universally taken for granted that Muslim clerics can easily debunk the “radical ideologies being offered to young Australians,” it is exceedingly difficult, indeed, well-nigh impossible, to find an honest attempt to refute the jihadist exegesis of the Qur’an on Islamic grounds. Most that are touted as such simply don’t mention the passages that jihadists use to gain recruits among peaceful Muslims.

“Dual nationality must be reviewed and, where appropriate, terrorists and their sympathisers either expelled from Australia or denied re-entry,” he said.

Such measures should not be controversial. But they will be.

Professor Leahy said Australia must support moderate nations with radical Islamist problems, such as Indonesia and The Philippines.

Did he say anything about the ongoing low-level persecution of Christians in Indonesia? And the Philippines is not a Muslim country, moderate or no.

More illiterate crap from “Brian Hoff” (really, “DefenderofIslam”:

Thomas you are so wrong in your fact (sic). Islam came to Japon (sic) in the 19th Century…
          ………………………….

Islam only “came to” Japan in he 19th century in that a book called “The life of Prophet Muhammad” was translated into Japanese in the 1870s.

No Japanese ever went on the Hadj until 1909, when some idiot Japanese who had been living in India converted to Islam.

The first Mosque built in Japan was not erected until 1938—and it was built for a tiny Turko-Tatar community of traders—not for Japanese at all.

There has, to date, only been a single Japanese Imam.

There are no exact figures, but estimates are that native Japanese make up no more than about 10% of the Muslim population of Japan—and that that in aggregate is no more than a high-end estimate of 100,000—this, in a population of over 147 million.

Here’s what Wikipedia has to say:

In 2008, Keiko Sakurai estimated that 80–90% of the Muslims in Japan were foreign born migrants primarily from Indonesians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, and Iran. It has been estimated that the Muslim immigrant population amounts to 70,000–100,000 people, while the “estimated number of Japanese Muslims ranges from thousands to tens of thousands”.

This is much under 1% of the population—with even fewer native-born Japanese Muslims.

“Brian Hoff’s” implication that Islam is a major influence in Japan is utter crap.

The real story is that Australia is afraid of Islamic terrorism but at home and close to its borders, meaning Indonesia. He doesn’t want to ruffle feathers, so he doesn’t mention Indonesia.
Why does Australia follow America into its wars? Australia is a Western country in a very different part of the world and they are a small population with a huge country, so first they depended on British support, so that was why they got into the two world wars on the British side. Then when America rose at the predominant power, they needed to be on its right side, as they cannot afford to spend enough on the defense of such a huge country and many oceans. Their real fear is Indonesia. Mention of the Phillipines is only a way of mentioning Indonesia, as the Phillipines, although it has a muslim problem, is a Christian country.

” At the same time Australia is letting in more and more immigrants from Islamic countries, and cannot seem to grasp the dire consequences of Civilisation Jihad? …”

Immigration of Muslims into the West is the main form of this war against us. It will enable Muslims to infiltrate into positions in our societies to make horrific terror attacks more numerous and more possible, to the tune of millions of our citizens mass-murdered. Because Muslims cannot mount a traditional military invasion, they are doing this.

The solution to this is to deport Muslims. But the West doesn’t seem to be able to realize this (and one main indication of how deeply the West is asleep at the switch on this is that most in the Counter Jihad agree that we “cannot” deport Muslims).

This is a blatant lie. If JW is representative of the CJ in general then I don’t recall most people here saying we can’t deport muslims. Voeg’s problem is that most people here don’t buy his “total deportation based on professed religion” scheme. If he had his way it wouldn’t just be foreign muslims being deported but also native converts, who would be “deported” out of their own country. And his criteria for deportation is professed religion so in practice he’s in favour of creating a thought police.

While I agree with your statement about Australia following the US after the British abandoned the Asia/Pacific Theatre in the 50s and for a time Indonesia did pose a threat to Australia, about 40-50 years ago they had significant power. However currently they couldn’t mount an invasion of Australia solely on the fact that they haven’t enough money to supply the logistical nightmare that is a conventional war. They invade Darwin, then what? Drive 200,000 soldiers 5000km across the desert? Feeding them fuel, food, equipment, ammunition along the way? Fuckin’ doubt it.

Australias continued support of the US has done us no favours, only made us a target in a conflict we aren’t prepared or have the will to participate in. Never thought I’d say it, but maybe we should take NZ’s stance on US relations.

In Japan recently, there was a Saudi Muslim student who vandalized 4 statues of Buddha at a Buddhist shrine. Al-Qaeda in Iraq, led by the late Abu Mousab al-Zaqawi, also murdered (beheaded) a young Japanese backpacker in 2004, simply because he was a non-Muslim, and because then-Japanese leader Junichiro Koizumi was friends with George W. Bush.

Most Japanese are either Buddhists or Shintoism; the latter is as polytheistic as Hinduism. Many others are atheists, and a small minority is Christian, while Muslims are around 120,000 or so. There is every reason to believe that Muslim extremists would dislike most Japanese (including moderate Japanese Muslims), and would use violence against them, and vandalize and destroy Japanese shrines and churches, as ISIS is doing against non-Muslims and Shiite Muslims in Iraq and Syria right now.

Many of the police officers, firefighters and emegency workers (as well as many civilians) who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks were Irish-Americans, some of whom held dual nationality. In fact, an iconic image of the attacks was the body of the Irish-American Catholic priest, Reverend Mychael Judge, being carried away. He had been administering last rites to a dying firefighter, when he was struck by a large chunk of falling concrete and killed.

Of course, Ireland itself is a small nation of only 4 million people or so, so it’s not a major target of the Muslim extremists (yet). However, most of the people there are Christian (Catholic or Protestant) so the control-freak jihadists wouldn’t like that.

I think one possibility is that the Leftards serve as the jihadists’ “useful idiots” in the war against the West. So for the time being, the terrorists let them lay the groundwork by undermining us from within, weakening our resolve, seducing the naive and gullible among us (and brainwashing our own young idiots, in the media and in our schools) into questioning the righteousness of our cause, the value of our own civilization and culture, and our national self-confidence.

They use a diabolical strategy of questioning everything that 2,000+ years of Western civilization has learned and been built on, with a “why?” or a “well, whatabout…?” and like fools, we cooperate by taking them on good faith and assuming that they’re interested in honest, information-seeking debate and real answers, and then re-arguing and justifying everything, no matter how well settled, all over again.

They’re experts at sowing the seeds of gnawing self-doubt in us, while never, ever, acknowledging the slightest error or barbarism in the toxic rot that forms the very foundation of their so-called “religion” or “values.”

They demand absolute perfection from us and our civilization, going back 1,000 years or more; yet every fresh, murderous mohammedan outrage is glibly dismissed as “not really islamic.” And, of course they have the advantage that every liar does when concocting a story for ignorant, credulous fools–of which we have many, and many more with each new generation of brainwashed young fools whose “education” ignores any serious, fact-based study of history and instead questions, disparages, and ridicules ours and our heroes and our civilization itself.

So for now, the Leftards are just playing their assigned role in The Plan, laying the groundwork and the political I.E.D.s behind “enemy” (that is, our) lines, and tunneling under our own walls, to make the job of the shock troops easier when that dark day comes. It’s called “softening up the enemy.”

Karl Meyer – I think you’re right. I’ve noticed it myself. They are just like children; the playground bully, but the stakes are oh, so much greater. There is one difference though. When I encountered bullies as a child, one approach I recalled worked was to try to engage them in a conversation, find something they were interested in and talk about it, try to connect, try to befriend them. It seems like that was what most of the bullies really wanted was a friend. I don’t see that here. I recall a television show many years ago, where they put two mothers together to talk, they had both lost a son to the conflict. The Israeli mother encouraged with “some day, some day, we will have peace between us”. The Palestinian mother responded “Some day, some day, we will kill you all”. Not much room for negotiation.

Why does Islam always attack the US and Israel? Because they are viewed as the biggest obstacles to the Muslim Brotherhood’s desire for world domination. The Ikwhan (Muslim Brotherhood) have put in place a 100 year program to achieve this, according to the “project document” which the Swiss Authorities obtained in a raid on the Villa Campione at the request of US authorities after 9/11. And in the Holy Land Foundation case, another document obtained from an FBI raid, showed their objective to destroy Western civilization and replace it with Islamic culture and Shariah law.

Scandanavia is surrendering in slow motion. Leave it to Israel or the US to fight the wars to preserve what freedom is left in this world. That is the first, only the first step that must be taken toward being able to defend ourselves effectively in the long term

*Every* majority-non-Muslim country that currently has few or relatively-few Muslims within the gates (and there *are* still some in that fortunate position) *must* take steps, now, to ensure that NO identifiable Muslim is admitted. Full stop. Not as “refugee”, not as “asylum seeker”, not as “student” or “businessman” or “tourist” or “legal immigrant” (skilled or unskilled”…And NOT as a spouse of a citizen, either: put a stop to the “marriage jihad”.

And despite the temptation of petrodollars, *no* mohammedan entity, state or non-state, should be permitted to buy into or buy up businesses – let alone real estate, rural or urban – of any non-Muslim country.

This is not a hundred years’ war.

This war – the war waged by the Ummah or Mohammedan Mob, a death cult crossed with an organised crime syndicate or constellation of same, a cult of murder, robbery, rape, lies, slavery – has been going on for fourteen hundred years and today, flush with trillions of oil money, it is simply exploding into ultra-aggression all over the planet. *Every* infidel person and state is a target.

CAIR is almost exactly comparable to the so-called German-American Bund although far more proficient at treasonous sabotage and harassing litigation, and it and its members should be treated exactly the same way Bundists were the instant the U.S. entered WW II. That is, rounded up at gunpoint and interned as enemy sympathizers and a national security threat, or, in a few cases, expelled from the U.S.

Unfortunately for us, the America-hating afro-islamic radical in the White House feels that such measures are only justified against the Tea Party, Republicans, conservative journalists and talk-show hosts, and anybody who mentions the word “Constitution” without a sneer or an obscene expletive immediately attached to it.

The West isn’t going to get around to stopping immigration until many more millions of Muslims come into the West (and in the meantime continue growing in numbers here). By the time the West wakes up to the full gravity of the problem, it will be a problem of civil insurrection (at best) if not one of an enemy army of millions already inside what they see as the Enemy Camp. Thus, “stopping immigration” should have been done yesterday; even if done now, it would cause frightful problems. But to advocate it now, knowing that it won’t be done until millions more Muslims come in, in the meantime, is to push a meme destined to be too little, too late. We need to push a bolder meme. Deportation. And hope even that won’t be too late by the time our society catches up to the cogency (and urgency) of the meme.

Professor Leahy said Australia must support moderate nations with radical Islamist problems, such as Indonesia and The Philippines.

In other words, he wants to continue the west’s long standing support of its puppet regimes in Indonesia and the Philippines who have raped, tortured, and slaughtered hundreds of thousands of civilians belonging to minority populations.

    Damn barbarians.

The western countries (America, Australia, Britain) installed Suharto as their puppet dictator in Indonesia after ousting Sukarno, who opposed western imperialism. The west then helped Suharto slaughter 600,000 Indonesians (the vast majority of them Abangan Muslims) suspected of being “communist” when in fact they were mostly innocent civilians.

The Indonesian gov under Suharto even forced some of these “communist” Abangan Muslims to convert to Hinduism and Christianity in order to dissasociate themselves from “atheist” and “heretical” abangan beliefs which were belived to be conducive to communism.

The west then supported and approved Indonesia’s annexation and invasion of West Papua, because the West Papuan resistance (OPM) were Marxists, and also approved Indonesia’s annexation and invasion of East Timor because East Timorese resistance (FRETILIN) were Marxist. The Indonesian Christian General Moerdani participated in both invasions.

The west then supported Suharto’s war against the Acehnese GAM, and rape, torture, and killing of Achenese Muslims.

In all of those conflicts, systematic massacres, mass rape, torture, and general atrocities gave been recorded.

America and Australia were the major arms suppliers and backers to the Indonesian military and the CIA approved all of Suharto’s invasions. They knew full well what the Indonesian military was doing.

The west supported Philippines Dictator Marcos in his torture, massacres, and rapes against Moro Muslims. The Philippines initiated the current conflict with the Jabidah massacre. The Moros only took up arms after Marcos started the massacre, and the fighting only intensified when the Philippine military burned down the entire Jolo in the 1970s and slaughtered over 10,000 Moro, Chinese, and other civilians. The government backed Ilaga militia tortured, mutilated, massacred, and cannibalized Moro women and children in the 70s and 80s.

The west was furious when its puppet Dictator Suharto was ousted in 1998 by the Asian financial crisis, and then suddenly had to switch positions on East Timor independence. Australia tried to set up a puppet government in East Timor because the greedy Australian government wanted to seize the disputed gas fields from the Timorese at their maritime borders.

Australian troops openly desecrated FRETILIN’s flag and incited protests against FRETILIN Arab Muslim PM Mari Alkatiri, because Alkatiri opposed Australia’s attempted seizure of East Timor’s gas fields. Alkatiri sought to bring East Timor closer to China and get China’s help against the greedy Australians trying to steal East Timorese gas (90% of East Timor’s revenue comes from the gas, yet the greedy Australians want the gas field to themselves). Today East Timor is pursuing its case against Australia in the courts over their greed for gas and their spying on East Timorese leaders.

The west still continues to support its puppet regimes against the Moros and Papuans. Not one word of condemnation from western leaders who cry crocodile tears over Tibet.

Colonel Muammar Gaddafi of Libya supplied the Moro MNLF and NPA against the Philippine government, and the Acehnese GAM, East Timorese FRETILIN, West Papuan OPM, and South Moluccans against Suharto’s Dictator regime in Indonesia. All of those groups cooperated with each other under Gaddafi’s Mathaba organization, headed by Acehnese leader Hassan di Tiro.

So this former Australian Army Chief supports the west’s traditional funding and support of barbarism. No suprise there. These damned barbarians, rapists, murderers, and thieves.

BTW, the Muslims in the southern Philippines were attacking non-Muslims for **centuries**, off and on (off when they met stiff resistance, on when they felt strong and the neighbouring non-Muslims were weaker) so don’t even *try* to pretend that the Moros were sweet little bleating snow-white lambs upon whom Evil Bully Infidels jumped one day out of the blue. *Because they are Muslims* the Moros – like all other manifestations of the Mohammedan mob all over the world – are a permanent menace to everything non-Muslim in the neighbourhood.

Originally even the Tagalogs in the north Philippine islands were partially Muslim. The Kingdom of Maynila was ruled by Rajah Sulayman, a Muslim Tagalog.

        http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMAY5X_Rajah_Sulayman__Manila_Philippines

        RAJAH SULAYMAN
        (Manila, d. 1571)

The brave Muslim ruler of the kingdom of Maynilad (Manila) who refused
the offer of “friendship” by the Spaniards which actually meant the loss
of the freedom of his people. He fought the Spaniard under Miguel Lopez
de Legasi twice in 1570 and 1571, resulting in the burning of his kingdom.
on the second battle, the Battle of Bankusay on June 3, 1571.
Rajah Sulayman perished with 300 of his warriors.

The Spanish under Legazpi forced the Muslim and Animist Tagalogs to convert to Catholicism after defeating Rajah Sulayman (in a war which Spain started for pure conquest), and then turned these Tagalogs in Luzon into the present day hispanicized “Filipinos”, who are currently waging war against Moro Muslims in Mindanao and Sulu.

It was the Spanish who initiated the first hostilities against the Moros in Mindanao and Sulu, which prompted Moros to raid them in revenge.

The Spanish not only tried conquering Muslim Moros, but also tried to do the same to the animist Igorot, who resisted, defeated, crushed, and beheaded the Spaniards.

It was the Spanish who forced Chinese to convert to Catholocism, forced non-Catholic them to live in a ghetto in Manila, and levied higher taxes on them than Catholics, and massacred them repeatedly in 1603, 1663, and drove them out of Manila in 1758.

Chinese repeatedly sought refuge in the Moro Sultanates and supplied the Moros with guns, ammunition, and manpower. The Moro Sultanate of Sulu was an ally and tributary of China. Spain was an enemy of non-Muslim Chinese.

Its Muslim Libyans and Acehnese who supported East Timorese and Papuans while your rapist supporting governments controlled the Indonesian Dictator Suharto like a puppet.

China can crush Philippines like a rag doll if it escalates its war on Mindanao. Mainland China and Taiwan both claim the entire Spratly islands chain, reject the Philippines claim, and are interested in putting the Philippines in their place, especially after the Philippine Coast Guard murdered a Taiwanese fishermen in cold blood.

Tge entire reason why Taiwan has a military outpost on Taiping (itu aba) island is because the Philippine military tried to claim and seize the island. Taiwan has fired on Philippine boats trying to approach the island in the past.

so, too bad that back in 1662, Zheng Chenggong didn’t live long enough to drive the Spaniards from Luzon (on his agenda), and teach the Tagalogs to use Hokkien day-to-day and Mandarin for official business?

Well, given that China’s best friend in Cold War southeast Asia was Salot Sar (even a better friend than Sukarno), I think it was good for everyone all around that the Communists were stopped in the Philippines and Indonesia. Also, Suharto was a syncretistic Javanese Muslim rather than Islam Fanatik himself.

Also the Indonesian Communist Party was not planning a coup. Your CIA framed them for that bullsh– and caused over 600,000 innocent Indonesians to be sliced into pieces, most of them were NOT members of PKI (Indonesian Communist Party). The CIA and the west just wanted the PKI exterminated and came up with the idea of framing them for a coup.

The Ilaga militia in the Philippines once ate the brain of the Italian Priest Tullio Favali after they accused him of links to Communists. That is in addition to massacring, eating, torturing, and mutilating Moro women and children.

Rajah Sulayman allowed a community of Chinese merchants to live in Maynila without harrasing or trying to exterminate them, the Spanish massacred them repeatedly, tried to conquer Ilaga and Moros, legalized enslavement of non-Catholics, and Spanish friars would regularly rape Filipino women.

And FYI Umbridge, it was the Catholic Tagalog Filipinos themselves who put up the statue and memorial to Muslim Tagalog King Rajah Sulayman of Maynila, to commemorate resistance to Spanish colonialism. This statue is in a public park in Manila.

        http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMAY5X_Rajah_Sulayman__Manila_Philippines

        RAJAH SULAYMAN
        (Manila, d. 1571)

The brave Muslim ruler of the kingdom of Maynilad (Manila) who refused
the offer of “friendship” by the Spaniards which actually meant the loss
of the freedom of his people. He fought the Spaniard under Miguel Lopez
de Legasi twice in 1570 and 1571, resulting in the burning of his kingdom.
on the second battle, the Battle of Bankusay on June 3, 1571.
Rajah Sulayman perished with 300 of his warriors.

Where to start? Firstly, he believes we should pay credence to people so ignorant that they seem to think that Australia is in Asia.

And then, what a transparently witless attempt to split the camp—the idea that Australians should be no more concerned over ravening Mohammedans who want to oppress and murder them than they should be over Infidels who might possibly consider them “white trash”.

And then there is a further aspect to this story, which Mazo hopes you won’t notice at all—according to the article, Australians are “white trash” because they don’t offer asylum quickly enough.

Asylum to whom? From the article Mazo linked to:

“thousands of refugees and asylum seekers in Thailand. The UNHCR can’t cope with the scale of demand that the troubles in Pakistan and Afghanistan are presenting them…”

In other words, they are not responding quickly enough to the *depredations of Islam*.

And yet, Mazo somehow fails to understand that the article he posted is actually a further indictment of his own vile creed.

A lot of Asian people see Australians as white trash; yet I can’t help but notice the numbers of people from the Far East who want to settle among such “white trash” is large–and I remind my son that when he imitates the Northeast US Snob’s denigration of the American “Redneck”, that a lot of our kinfolk on the far side of the Pacific might possibly occupy a similar sociological niche . Then again, official China still makes an icon out of Stalin, who was original “Caucasian trash”, if ever there was such a thing, not so much for being born in a poor family, but for what he did to make himself powerful and famous.

Further, there was this interchange between Ross Terrill, an Australian-born Sinologist, with someone on the street in Mainland China back in the 1970’s:

TERRILL: I’m from Australia. What do you know about my country?

CHINESE CITIZEN: It is a reactionary running dog of American imperialism.

TERRILL: What do you mean by that?

CHINESE CITIZEN: Oh, I guess it means they don’t ration rice, oil, and cotton cloth.

While there’s much about China that I admire, I also cannot help but note that Mainland China keeps Stalin as an icon; openly scorns Gary Locke and numbers of other Americans of his heritage as “bananas”; and whose officialdom even scorns white Americans of German descent for having produced people like Eisenhower and Nimitz during WWII rather than standing with Hitler and Der alte Vaterland (故乡与老祖国–what a pathetically chauvinistic, racist, and ossified 19th century mindset).

I also note that Beijing’s closest allies and comrades-in-arms throughout the Cold War in Asia were Saloth Sar and the Kim Dynasty in Pyongyang.

I am not an Australian and doubt that I ever will be one, but I’m willing to bet that they treated a lot of Far Eastern origin people a lot better than those people’s not-too-distant forbears were treated by noisily “anti-imperialist” and “progressive” governments back in the Old Country.

Now, 亲爱的马先生 , if you really, really, really want to remind the Western white people how utterly stupid and barbaric they are, remind them that back when Uncle Kepha was a mere college boy, their highest centers of White, Western intellectual and cultural life were willingly abasing themselves at the feet of Old Marmot-face Mao when they really didn’t have to.

I was speaking with one of the legal team at JRS, Kathryn Smyth, because of some Pakistanis I am helping with their application for refugee status. In response to a request from a Jesuit friend in Pakistan, I am effectively in loco parentis for five (soon to be six with a birth expected in April) refugees whose only crime in Pakistan is that they are Catholics. They were forced to flee following events where they were beaten, shot at and given the popularly administered death sentence that comes with accusations of blasphemy….

Many of the refugees and asylum seekers in Bangkok are like my friends – Christians fleeing the terror of the blasphemy laws introduced by President Zia Ul Haq who was assassinated in 1988.

The Ummah, or Mohammedan Mob, the Allah Gang, is the sea within which the jihadists swim and from which, ceaselessly, they emerge.

    Got Muslims? Got Jihad.

(So first and foremost one must endeavour to have as few Muslims within the gates as one possibly can; since we’ve already let in – in Australia – a 500,000 to 600,000 strong Fifth Column, *that* is *the* major problem we have to deal with. 1 / NOT importing any more 2/ making NO concessions/ accommodations/ to those already here 3/ figuring out how to get those that are already here…OUTTA HERE.)

    **Read. the. bloody. Quran**, mate!!

And the equally bloody Sira and Hadith.

And then read S K Malik’s “The Quranic Concept of War”, and Mr Spencer’s “Onward Muslim Soldiers”.

And above all, perhaps before doing all that, read ex-Muslim Sam Solomons’ two books – 1/ The Mosque and Its Role in Society and 2/ Al-Hijra – The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration.

Follow up with our own Aussie scholar Mark Durie’s “The Third Choice: Islam, Dhimmitude, and Freedom”.

Then: prepare to *fight* the Forever War.

Oh, and a word to the wise: just FUGGEDABOUT MUSLIM INDONESIA…except to keep a real close beady eye on them, and make sure our northern/ northwestern back doorstep is **fortified** and *constantly watched**.

”Why not take a cue from Japan, which is the only country in the world that does not grant citizenship to Muslims? ”

I wish this was true, jewdog, but it appears to be merely a rumour. It is *difficult* for non-Japanese to become citizens, but apparently not impossible.

”The eRumor’s claim that Muslims cannot become Japanese citizens is also false, according to a Japanese blog that specializes in immigration issues called “Becoming Legally Japanese.”

“Because there is no place on the written online application for one’s religion, the Ministry of Justice can’t publish statistics showing the religions (or races) of naturalization candidates; they can only publish sex and former nationality statistics,” the blog reports. “However, looking at the nationality statistics, we can find hundreds of examples of people from Islamic states (ex. Indonesia, Iran and Pakistan) as well as people from nation-states where the official state religion is Islam (ex. Egypt) and greater than 90 percent of the population is Muslim. Doing a quick web search, I can find Japanese immigration lawyers who specialize in people from Indonesia and brag of a 100 percent success rate”

It is also unfortunately true that the PM of Japan thinks islam is harmonious, full of brotherly love, and a ‘religion of peace’.

Some Japanese have converted to islam, there are mosques, and some universities offer courses in Arabic and islamic studies.

There are not as yet enough mohammedans to cause much of a problem, but as we know, that will come.

Japan won’t even grant citizenship to the fourth-generation descendants of Koreans brought to Japan to work in wartime industry–even thought such people speak only Japanese and have never set foot in either North or South Korea. It’s even worse when everyone knows that the Japanese royal family actually descends from some ambitious Korean immigrants of a few centuries back, and that much of Japan’s traditional culture was transmitted from China by way of Korea.

I don’t know about you, but I think that one of the great things about the USA (and a number of other countries I’ve known) is that naturalization is possible. Japan, however, takes its racial/cultural mythology way too seriously.

Naturalisation is a great concept, and I’m all for it, **except** for mohammedans. As we’ve seen on these threads, even in the msm, mohammedans have no real loyalty to anything except the ummah. As dda says, truly, ”Got mohammedans ? Got jihad.”

If IS continues to be the ‘strong horse’, I think we will see more and more evidence of this.

” Japan, however, takes its racial/cultural mythology way too seriously”

I’ve never been there, but I see nothing wrong with being seriously proud of one’s country’s ‘racial/cultural mythology’. Define ‘way too seriously’. If Europe had been more proud of its ‘racial/cultural mythology’, we wouldn’t be in the situation we are today, swamped with mohammedans who turn and spit, then bite, on the hand that feeds them.

No other immigrants do this. Do we have Hindus blowing up the tube ? Chinese ? Sikhs ? **real** Asians ? African Christians sawing off the head of a British soldier in broad daylight ? No. Only mohammedans. I **curse** the day our politicians let these creatures in. They cause nothing but trouble, problems and violence, wherever they go.

” Japan, however, takes its racial/cultural mythology way too seriously”

Well, don’t worry, now they’ve opened the door a crack to mohammedans, they’ll soon be kissing goodbye to their ‘racial/cultural mythology’.

Shoutout to all Aussie non-Muslims here posting or lurking, if so be you are in or near Melbourne, Victoria, or will be, on Sunday 10th August 2014 (Aussie time).

There will be a rally in support of Israel on the steps of the state Parliament House in Spring Street, from 12 noon. Wear blue and white. Stand With Israel!

Go along. Be visible. Send a message of support. Let the Israelis know that you are *with* them as they struggle to defend themselves against the neverending annihilatory Jihad. Let the Jews in Australia know that you are *with* them, against the haters, the Muslim and non-Muslim Jewhaters who have come swarming out from under rocks in the past three weeks and have spewed hatred and nonsense and lies on our streets. And – talk with the people you meet at that rally, find out how much they know about Islam, and Jihad, and Quranic Jew-hatred, the Jew-hatred that is hardwired into the Islamic core texts and that is a subset of the hatred and contempt that Muslims are taught to feel toward *all* non-Muslims…especially toward any who, as Israel has just done, stand up for themselves and hit back when Muslims attack them. Network! Educate! Encourage!

And if you *do* go…as I sincerely hope *all* Melbournian jihadwatchers will…then do please report back here and let us know how it went.

But don’t just go to the rally. Write a letter of support to the Israeli ambassador in Australia. Write letters to our politicians urging that Australian support Israel wholeheartedly as Israel resists the genocidal Jihad that is being waged by the likes of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the rest. Write letters to the editor denouncing the horrible Jew-hatred – fuelled by outright nonsense and lies and fabricated blood-libel – that has been manifesting itself at the pro-Gaza rallies, and that has at least twice spilled over into attacks on Jews right here in Australia.

Time to make noise, lots of noise. Raise the alarm and keep on raising it.

Pretend (or worse, believe) it is only a minority of crazy Muslims we have to worry about.
Imagine the Muslim clerics are on our side and will help.
Hang around like a bad smell at every Islamic holy event, and praise Muslims and Islam at every chance.
Give local Muslims positions of influence to make them feel appreciated.
Increase aid to Muslim countries as a sign of goodwill.
Put pressure on non-Muslims to pretend Muslims are no problem and curb freedom of speech.
Spend a fortune on counter-terrorism measures.

Immigration? Keep them coming. Why on earth not?

Remember the play school window ?
There was a bear in there & a chair as well.
Now when you open the window there is an obeid in there & A tripodi as well.

The Australians and the Europeans must be held partly responsible for the problems that they face. Their populations have committed themselves to the liberal/ left ideology of multiculturalism, political correctness and mass immigration. They have bought into the ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ narrative and they happily wreck peoples careers and prosecute individuals and groups who speak out about the impending disaster. They call us racists, bigots and Islamophobes and generally push us to the margins of society because we are somehow seen as beyond the bounds of decency. Enjoy what’s coming Western man. I look forward to being able to say: I told you so!

Mere gloating schadenfreude – especially when expressed in a forum like this where many, many people – European, Australian, American and others – *are* awake and aware and are doing their level best to wake up others (including new readers to the site who turn up all the time, more lurk than post) and to put pressure on non-Muslim political and religious leaders – is just a waste of bandwidth, mate.

If the Ummah does take over, where will *you* be?? On an unmapped pacific island somewhere, safely away from the beheading and looting? Or getting your throat slit right along with all the people whose mass-murder you are, presumably , hoping to witness??

There are two things that I refuse to do, here, as a matter of policy.

First, I refuse to indulge in prophesies of doom and expressions of despair and cries of “all is lost!”, because all that does is feed the enemy’s gloating triumphalism (do you not realize that the Enemy reads over our shoulders as we post? Many more Muslims lurk here, I suspect, than ever openly step out onto the comments floor).

Two, I refuse to sweepingly “write off” the entire population of my own country or of any other major non-Muslim country as a hopeless case, ineducable, waste of time even trying to turn things around.

In the words of Sam Gamgee in the tower of Cirith Ungol in Catholic Tolkien’s wonderful fantasy epic, “I **will not** say the day is done, nor bid the stars farewell”.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face!

And where do you plan to be, Mr. Roberts, when Islam takes over the free West? How will you manage to avoid the grim effects of Islamization, while still being able to sneer at the victims?

After you you answer these questions, you may want to roll up your sleeves and join the fight.

After all, Winston Churchill didn’t just sit around and sneer about how he said “I told you so!” after Neville Chamberlain declared “peace in our time”, happily anticipating the Nazis pouring in across the Channel.

This Shadenfreud is just as harmful as willful naîvité and denial—and considerably uglier.

Mozzie Repellent – I agree you probably won’t hear much about the article on the ABC, Fairfax press or most of TV, but it was the main article/headline on the front page of this morning’s Weekend Australian and I’d be surprised if Andrew Bolt doesn’t mention it on his TV program Sunday morning, so the responsible elements of the mainstream press are covering it
(Both The Australian and Bolt’s programs are News Corp owned so at least in his home country Rupert Murdoch isn’t stifling reporting of the islamist/jihadi threat).

Great to see Peter Leahy has generated some discussion about the issues facing us but as others have already stated above, he is not stating the problem clearly. It isn’t ‘radicals’ that are the issue it is Muhammed’s example/teachings. If the problem was a misunderstanding of Islam it would be simple for Imams to explain the theological errors but as a police investigator into the Pendennis case states in the article once the young are ‘radicalised’ (his word) they appear very unlikely to be swayed away from that thinking. This only makes sense if you understand that rather than being ‘radicalised’ towards some divergent form of Islamic theology, they are committed to their intended course of action because they have become ‘devout’ and actually understand the key messages the founder of their religion gave them in the Koran and in the Hadith.

Peter also appears not to be aware that Australia has almost reached the 100 year anniversary of the first Jihadi attacks in Australia on January 1st, 1915 when 2 muslims who had no prior history of violence planned the shooting attack on a picnic train of 1200 civilian men, women and children in answer to the Ottoman Caliph’s call to jihad for muslims worldwide.

Australia needs politicians with the intellectual honesty to recognise the situation being faced- a global insurgency with multiple nodes of islamists/jihadis striving for a Sharia based caliphate – and the political courage to implement policies that will destroy our enemies.

They need to recognise any individual, group or country pushing for Sharia (which includes Saudi Arabia, Brunei, Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia) is moving towards the same goal as ISIS, Hamas and Boko Haram – just following different roads to get there.

This is similar to how individuals, groups and countries pushing for Communism moved towards the same goal even though they took different roads and had many disagreements and splits along the way.

Politicians need to deal with the softer islamist individuals and groups in the same way they dealt with anarchists and hardline communists in the late 1890′s to 1920′s – detection followed by lengthy detention/deportation.

Soft islamist countries should be dealt with using a range of strategies similar to United States NSC-68, accompanied by sanctions for any religious or sexual apartheid laws they implement (in the same way the West imposed sanctions on South Africa for their racial apartheid laws).

Hard line islamist/jihadi individuals, groups or countries should be dealt with using the strategies used to successfully destroy our enemies in the past – it isn’t rocket science, just common sense.

“The solution had to come from within the Muslim world”
And therein lies the crux of this problem. Dare it be said? The west could quickly hasten this process if it had the guts and the will to begin to commit a genocide of their own.

Because of the fear their brutal tactics and threats inspire these religious fanatics are emboldened to be more brutal and ever more fanatical. Whoever has the courage to defy and ignore the hate filled, fear driven condemnation from their own contemporaries and puts that genocidal shoe on the Fanatics feet will see just how motivated these maniacs are to continue on their increasingly brutish religious quest for world domination. The rules of engagement would be “spill their blood and guts and forget about their Hearts and minds. Show no mercy.” When Muslims begin to feel the flames of indiscriminate death and destruction emanating from the west to be far hotter than those from their religious brethren then perhaps the solution will come from within. But it will not come from within until it is made absolutely clear that Muslims will be drastically brutalized and reduced in numbers until they become totally isolated and incapable of any more of this horrific, brutal tactics they justify by devoutly practicing their faith.

Yet another claim, I’m afraid, that the civilized world has to descend to the level of the vicious barbarians we face, and that adopting all the savagery of Islam is the “solution” offered by the Muslim world.

We didn’t defeat Fascism by launching another Holocaust, nor did we oppose Communism by liquidating our opponents.

The idea that our only choices are either rolling over to evil or else enthusiastically embracing its tenets ourselves is an utterly false one.

    @Mazo:

So the Soviets and Mao saw homosexuals as mad? A broken clock is right at least twice a day. And, as for “Rednecks”, I’m cominig to see that segment of the American population as a last refuge of national sanity.

BTW, after living a number of years in western Maryland and downstate Illinois, I can only note that I’ve seen “Rednecks” who pulled themselves out of low origins give out of heir own pockets to support poor widows and other needy persons–something which I have NEVER seen in well-heeled Northeastern “progressives” (who never stop crying rivers of tears over the plight of the poor.

As for Lee Kuan Yew –and Harry Lee used to be called “the best bl**dy ENglishman East of Suez–calling Australians “White Trash”, my opinion of him sinks even lower. Although an heir of Hokkiens and Nonyas, he liked to pass himself off as Hakka because of the Hakkas’ supposed northern origins. Although I have Hakka connections myself, I see such an attitude as astoundingly racist. Maybe he looks down on the Aussies because so many of them descend from convicts.

Dear Kitcat – no “reply” button for your update posting above with report on the pro-Israel rally in Melbourne, so will comment here.

So glad I was able to give you a headsup and thus swell the crowd not just by one but by four! Great work, mate.

I’ve been looking at the reports on the rally coming in at the Zionist Federation of Australia FB page, and it looks like it was very well attended (so good to see some of the local politicians – Victorian State MPs – coming along) and that a great time was had by all. Also it seems to have easily outnumbered the horrible pro-hamas hatefest that took place in Melbourne the previous day.

Peter Leahy is the only Australian Chief of Army with no operational service in a theatre of war. His awards mostly represent distinguished, long and overseas exchange service not involving combat or operational duties. He visited Australian troops deployed on combat duties overseas during his time as Chief of Army but was never himself posted to the force establishment of any operational unit. He was subject to the same protection as a visiting prime minister or any other dignitary while in-country. He also did not offer an apology over a military cover up during his time as Chief of Army as explained in the article link:

The Australian Analyst is hopelessly deluded and trying to prepare the country for a century long defensive war against Islamic ideology that is far worse than Nazism. Islam deserves the same treatment as Nazism got – total annihilation. Instead of war on terror, we should have long declared a war on Islam, killed off its leadership and converted all adherents to atheism on the pain of prosecution and hard labor imprisonment. We can still do it today. What are our leaders afraid of?

Peter Leahy is another academic sitting in the ivory together with the other sociopaths who run the public service and Parliament .

    Quote :
Professor Leahy said politicians needed to “develop an honest and frank dialogue” with the Australian public.

“They should advance a narrative that explains that radical Islamism and the terrorism it breeds at home and abroad will remain a significant threat for the long term, it will require considerable effort, the expenditure of blood and treasure and it will, of necessity, RESTRICT OUR RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES,” he said.

These same people that are wanting to OUR rights and liberties are the same ones who under “flak jacket Johnnie ” disarmed the civilian population of Australia, I have so far 155 posts on this site and so far no one has pointed out that the same buffoons quislings who run Australia have put the whole country in the position of having the ability to defend itself stripped away, but now we are supposed to except having less ability to move around and being monitored by Telcos as a privilege ?, are people in Australia that stupid and gullible ?, this shill ( Leahy ) is well paid by the public purse but was an armchair General with no combat experience.

Cosgrove at least was a General with combat experience and one who knew how to fight.

100 years ? who is he kidding ? radical Moslems will only understand being sent to hell by bombing their front lines with Napalm and bunker busters, shooting up a few technicals and a 7 truck convoy won’t stop these sub humans who behead others, re arm the Australians internally and kick out the radical vermin who want to bring jihad to Australia.
