Indian news team witnesses Hamas building rocket silo next to hotel

Aug 5, 2014 11:18 am By Robert Spencer

Hamas_assembles_rockets_360The report was “published on ndtv.com after our team left the Gaza strip – Hamas has not taken very kindly to any reporting of its rockets being fired.” Here is clear evidence of Hamas trying to provoke civilian casualties by launching rockets from civilian areas.

“NDTV Exclusive: How Hamas Assembles and Fires Rockets,” by Sreenivasan Jain, NDTV, August 5, 2014:

Gaza: In the minutes before the ceasefire kicked in at Gaza this morning, Hamas fired a flurry of rockets towards Israel – 30 according to some counts.

Israel has argued that that these rockets are fired from civilian areas, and this is why its retaliatory strikes can result in civilian casualties.

But this morning, NDTV witnessed one such rocket silo being created under a tent right next to the hotel where our team was staying. Minutes later, we saw the rocket being fired, just before the 72-hour ceasefire came into effect.

It began with a mysterious tent with a blue canopy that bobbed up yesterday (August 4) at 6:30 am in an open patch of land next to our window. We saw three men making a multitude of journeys in and out of the tent, sometimes with wires.

An hour later, they emerged, dismantled the tent, changed their clothes and walked away.

The next morning – today – we woke to news of the 72-hour ceasefire but just before it was to take effect, the rocket next to our hotel was fired. There was a loud explosion and a whooshing sound. The cloud of smoke that rose was captured by our cameraperson.

This report is being aired on NDTV and published on ndtv.com after our team left the Gaza strip – Hamas has not taken very kindly to any reporting of its rockets being fired. But just as we reported the devastating consequences of Israel’s offensive on Gaza’s civilians, it is equally important to report on how Hamas places those very civilians at risk by firing rockets deep from the heart of civilian zones.

Great reporting, but, will ALL the screaming idiots around the World supporting Hamas believe this report, even though they have provided picture evidence. We wait with baited breath, but I fear these Jew hating morons who act like Lemmings will totally disbelieve this and carry on as they always do. Follow my leader springs to mind or monkey see, monkey do.

Now the Indian Muslims will be after NDTV for exposing Hamas and Muslims. NYTimes and American media can take some journalism lessons from NDTV.

I am indian and I know that NDTV is pretty liberal and more appeasing to muslims in all respects. I am sure that if they have found tthis, it could definitely be true.

Yes David and this is the e-mail I sent the muslim bitch: “The very fact that you have resigned only shows that in no way do you feel part of this country in spite of the honours placed on you. I have always been convinced that muslim immigrants will never be truly part of us and your resignation has proved that. When you say “in the National interest”, a nation which you were given the privilege of being part of, who do you think you are representing. Certainly not the English. I am born and bred English and you most certainly do not represent my views. Not in the way you dress, not in this instance, not in the way you favour muslims over the indigenous people, as do most of those who have been privileged to be part of our Government.

When did I ever hear you speak one word in support of Israel, and one word against Hamas for endlessly firing rockets over the border. When did I ever hear you speak of your shock at finding very professional tunnels built equipped with bomb-carrying motorbikes, all in readiness for an all out attack on Israel. When did I ever hear you condemn Hamas for storing their rockets in densely populated areas, especially where women and children are. When did I ever hear you condemn the staging of certain attacks on palestine by Hamas, even using old photos of injured children taken in Iraq years before – and yes, I have the proof. When did I ever hear you speak of your horror at Hamas’s avowed aim of wiping Israel off the map. An aim shared by many muslim countries.

If you took the trouble to look at a map, you would see that Israel is dwarfed by all the surrounding muslim countries – on my map half an inch! Why are they attacked endlessly in the press by people like you. Why are muslims so concerned by a mere half an inch!! Please take the time to think about that.

Your faith dictates that it is an honour and a service to Allah to kill an infidel (someone like me), so how can you dare condemn Israel for fighting for its very life. I am glad you have resigned. I think England will be better served by someone who truly belongs and shares the heritage, customs and history. It will also save the British taxpayer a lot of money”

The BBC World coverage is the same.
The self-appointed Saint Lyse Doucet intones on her promos how she ‘gets the story’.
In Gaza the coverage is only of the wounded.
Reports from the Israel side show APCs, tanks and troops in battledress.
Surely the most ubiquitous war materiel in the conflict, is the Hamas rocket.
Does Doucet get any footage on these rockets being fired or ask a Hamas commander how he justifies random shots into Israel?
I suspect that not a few stories will emerge of Hamas threats on reporters, but in the opinion-forming days of the conflict when we need balanced reporting we get Saint Lyse in her ‘flak jacket chic’ meekly toeing the Hamas line.

    Kudos to NDTV!

    That is *real* news reporting.

To our Indian fellow-jihadwatchers – JAI HIND!

Write to NDTV and tell them how much people from all over the world have enjoyed their clever undercover filming of the Hamasniks setting up the “rocket nest”, and then the “hatching” of the rocket, right there in that densely populated built-up civilian neighbourhood.

their little clip with its robust dose of truth is whizzing round the world, being shared by millions.

I dare NYTimes, ABC, NBC or CBS to make a report of this type. Most news organizations in US have deep buried antisemitism and will do any thing to discredit Israel and by association vent the hatred of Jews using one sided reports that focus on deaths of civilians without looking into why they have happened in the first place.

Still no comments by any of the major Media here in the US regarding this film … no surprise there.
