Italy expels imam for calling for Jews to be killed “one by one”

Rome: Italy said Tuesday it is expelling a Moroccan imam caught on video inciting violence against Jews during Israel’s offensive against Hamas militants in Gaza.

The imam was filmed during a Friday sermon in a mosque near Venice last month calling for Jews to be killed “one by one”, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute (Memri), which published the video on its website.

Interior Minister Angelino Alfano said he had ordered the expulsion of Raoudi Aldelbar “for seriously disturbing public order, being a danger to national security and for religious discrimination,” after experts carried out a thorough examination of the footage.

Aldelbar, an imam in the town of San Dona di Piave in northern Italy, appeared in the video to launch into a diatribe against the Jews, in which he said: “Oh Allah, bring upon them that which will make us happy. Count them one by one, and kill them one by one.”

Alfano said the speech was “unacceptable” as it was “of clear anti-Semitic tone, containing explicit incitements to violence and religious hate”.

Anti-Semitic graffiti was scrawled across walls in several areas of Rome last month in protest at Israel’s deadly offensive against Gaza.

      Then, when the imams, sheikhs, mullahs, visiting “lecturers” etc are caught – as they will be, sooner or later – saying exactly the same sorts of things as this imam did…

      ARREST AND DEPORT.

      Then, shut down their mosques.

      Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.

  3. Bravo indeed…Bravo…one preacher of Islamic hate in a sea of Islamic violence and hate is expelled. How about STOPPING ALL IMMIGRATION OF MUSLIMS INTO THE U.S? This very same hatred is either openly preached or secretly practiced among the vast majority of Muslims. Tolerance, democracy, respect for women and children, the rule of law and respect for freedom are aberrations and are variants of normal Islam.

  5. Italy deserves praise for its decisive and correct action taken on those preaching hatred. Hope other nations follow this action.

    • The legislation is there ( incitement to racial hatred), it’s the will that’s lacking and the craven cowardice of those who enforce the law.

Now he’s gonna do the same thing he was doing but somewhere else… where now he can openly recruit jihadis to attack non-Muslims in his country and on the West without ANYONE keeping an eye on him.     • It saves Italy the cost of incarceration and it stands as a warning to others. I would rather a thousand were deported than banged-up at the tax payer’s expense. It was the right move.

    • The downside of jailing him for life is that he can produce thousands of Jihadis in jail who are not lifers during that time simply through his influence. They are right to deport him. Not only that, he can become a target outside.

  10. There is an old saying in the Middle East among militant Muslims. Which is “First comes Saturday then comes Sunday” The meaning of this is “First get and kill off all the Jews and then after that is done get and then kill off all the Christians.”
    What a violence and murderous mindset Islam can produce in a person.

  11. This proves that it is possible to deport muslims. Italy should now work on deporting Islam itself. There should be nowhere in Italy were one is free practice the system described in Islamic teachings. Deny the ground so that the seeds cannot be planted.

I can’t understand how Italy can do this and kick him out, in the twinkling of an eye, yet here in the UK, it took in excess of 10 years or more to boot out the repulsive Abu Hamza and even then we had to extradite him to the US. He cost the UK taxpayer in excess of 1 million pounds for his free legal costs and the Tax Payers’ Alliance estimated that the father of eight, has so far cost Britain £2.75 million in welfare payments, council housing and additional legal costs. it boils my p:ss to say the least about the weak kneed politicians that run the UK. My wife had to quit her job when she was pregnant and we never got a bean from the state.

  13. You know what? I think the Italian authorities should promote islam in order to avoid “islamophobic” “hate crimes” in response to the actions of this imam. Like, for example, telling all Italians how islam has been a constant presence in the history of Italy:

  14. Sounds like a good start, except that:

    Every Qur’an and every Hadith are regularly used
    in every Mosque, by every Imam to advance the same
    genocidal agenda, first and mostly against all Jews
    but also against all Christians, Hindus and other
    non-Muslims, exactly as articulated in writing in
    Article Seven of the “Hamas Covenant” which
    contains a direct quotation from the Hadith.

But this kind of sermon is said in every mosque on the planet, every time at the end of prayers, from Indonesia to California, and from Australia to northern Canada, i use to hear it since i was a child in Egypt…..And the prophet of Islam and his companions use to say it from the 6th century, that’s what they taught us at school…So why they don’t ban this “religion” from the world? Why just now, and why just one mosque imam in Italy ?. There is other imams too in other mosques maybe in the same city who say the same thing exactly , but unfortunately they are not caught on camera like this one.
