Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

“The world of Islam will become a graveyard for the policies of America”

Aug 4, 2014 11:17 am By Robert Spencer

“We will hunt you down from house to house, and avenge every drop of blood of our martyrs in Palestine.” Yet another Islamic supremacist call for genocide of the Jews. Here yet again, the world is too busy condemning Israel to notice. “IRGC Deputy Commander: We Will Hunt the Zionists Down from House to House,” MEMRI, July 25, 2014:

In a public address marking Al-Quds Day, IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier-General Hossein Salami warned the Zionists: “We will hunt you down from house to house, and avenge every drop of blood of our martyrs in Palestine.” Salami further said: “The world of Islam will become a graveyard for the policies of America, the Zionist regime, and their reactionary allies in the region.”

Following are excerpts from the address, broadcast on the Iranian news channel IRINN on July 25, 2014:

Hossein Salami: Today, the resistance of the Palestinian people keeps on growing. The truth of Palestine will rise from the rubble. The tall palm trees of the Palestinian nation will grow even taller from this formidable Jihad.

[…]

The balance of power will shift in favor of the Islamic world. We warn the Zionists: You are a community with no roots, no land, no race, and no history – none of the things that form the identity of a nation. You are a tree without roots, planted in Islamic lands by the British. We will hunt you down from house to house, and avenge every drop of blood of our martyrs in Palestine. This is the awakening of the Muslim nations, in order to bring you down.

[…]

[We] will not let America and the Zionists enjoy the slightest taste of victory. From this day on, we expect dawns of great victory. We are certain that [the prophecy] of the divine tradition will be fulfilled, and the world of Islam will become a graveyard for the policies of America, the Zionist regime, and their reactionary allies in the region.

The worst violence against the Jewish people is to deny that they are, in fact, a people–a people with a splendrous past and energies for good that greatly exceed their small number.

These Radical Muslims attack, torture and imprison their own people.

Any group that attacks their own people cannot be trusted as good neighbors.

Our best export is our way of life and our support of freedom at home. Obama says nothing in public supporting dissidents in Iran or promoting our way of life. He is a failure as a leader.

Sounds like he wants a fight. I hope Israel and the West won’t disappoint him, that’s if we can get over the media induced inertia over the poor Palestinians and their bleeding kids. That aside, I think the whole of the Middle East is now a very dry tinder box. If Lebanon is sucked into the Syrian conflict, Iran might be next, then the gloves come off for sure. I can’t imagine Brigadier General Salami hunting down anyone from house to house, the IDF might be hunting him down shortly though.

The Muslim prophet Mohammad was an evil child molester (he married a 6 year old little girl) and an evil supporter of slavery. Nobody should follow him anywhere.

In one sense, Hossein Mortadella (I like Salami; I don’t like bologna) is right.

Since WWII, the USA has assumed that freedom from want and fear, coupled with freedom of speech and religion, will give us a kinder, gentler, utopia-approaching world. Yet the Islamic world finds freedom of religion a horror; throws up leadership that cannot tolerate dissent; and has not translated its oil wealth into general well-being.

Hossein Bologna also belongs to a generation of Iranian leadership who made it crystal-clear that they want no peaceful relations with the USA. While I would not rise to his baiting, and would counsel caution, prudence, and willingness to accept changes arising within Iran itself, I would also say that if Iran or its proxies pulls something too provocatory, the US Government should formally declare war, and very thoroughly honor the Iranians’ professed love of martyrdom. In 1979, Iran put itself way beyond the pale of civilized consideration.

Is that why the American CIA promoted racist, fascist-nationalist groups like Bozkurt (Grey Wolves) to murder leftists and Kurds in Turkey?

Bozkurt (Grey Wolves) mix Islamism and Turkish ultra-nationalist racism, which makes them intolerant to anyone who is not a Turkish Muslim, such as Kurds, Armenians, and other minorities. (It was a grey wolves member who shot Pope John Paul II in 1981)

Erdogan by contrast, is only an Islamist, and pushes for an inclusive, multi-ethnic Ottoman Muslim identity, and expanded rights for Kurds. He has to pander to Turkish ultranationalists for votes since many Turks are still racists, but its not part of his ideology.

You seem to have a misguided, naive view of what your country’s intelligence service have been doing in other countries for the past 60 years. There is a reason why people like Ocalan and Misuari turned to leftism, its because you guys were trying to kill them.

I don’t call promoting a vicious, racist organization and helping them conduct assasinations, as conducive to a utopia.

Iran is much more tolerant to its minorities than Turkey was during the Kemalist era- Ataturk was a nationalist who sought to impose a singular, Turkish Muslim identity, deleting the existence of Kurds, Armenians, Zazas from Turkey, enforcing only Turkish language and identity. He viewed the Ottoman as sick and weak because of its multi ethnic nature.

Ataturk remained Anatolia as Turkiye, and called everyone who was a citizen of Turkiye as a ‘Turk’, denying their original ethnicity. Suddenly every inch of Anatolia was now “Turkish” land.

Mazo, as a former officer of the US Dept. of State, I only wish that the CIA was 0ne-one hunddredth as capable, effective, and pervasive as everyone else’s propaganda makes it out to be. The Gray Wolves arose in Turkey as part and parcel of that country’s own internal politics.

And while I do not condone the murder of Han people in Eastern Turkistan, I think that this has much, much, much more to do with issues latent in Chinese history, minority relations, and political methods than the CIA or anyone else west of the Tian Shan–since that is where this will probably go later.

And, what I was talking about was Iran, not Turkey.

While the events of Mossadeq’s overthrow have long been public, and even the subject of an official apology to Iran by the Carter administration, I’d also like to point out that Mossadeq’s own backers in the Tudeh held it a principle of “internationalist solidarity” to refrain from attacking Soviet oil concessions in northern Iran while being bold as lions against British ones.

And, while we’re at it, considering that at the end of WWII the Soviets (under 斯大林伯伯)tried to wrest southern Azerbaijan and Kordestan away from Iran to join a number of other of their annexations and territorial aggrandizements from East Prussia to the Uliangkhai (all while they and their puppet media worldwide were screaming “imperialist!” at everyone else), I’m not sure that overthrowing Mossadeq was such a bad idea. A number of Iranian mullahs (not least Shariat-madari and other natives of southern Azerbaijan) survived and came into their callings largely because their hero Mossadeq got overthrown. As far as I’m concerned, they can dig up Pishevari’s corpse and kiss whatever’s left on the hinder side of his pelvis.

Look, the Cold War was every bit a Soviet creation with the Berlin blockade, attempts to wrest territory from Greece and Turkey, launching the Greek Civil War, and encouraging Old Mao’s gang to rough up America’s consuls in Shenyang (then Fengdian/Mukden). Now, maybe it might have been all to the better had the intelligentsia of Western Europe been allowed to labor under their idol Stalin (and probably end up deported to Siberia for their trouble), for it might’ve led to the sort of spiritual revival that happened in Eastern and Central Europe later; and certainly would’ve kept the Maghrebis out. Still, at the time, the USA could not have finished WWII after decrying Hitler’s and Japan’s aggression while letting the guy who launched the European War by kissing Hitler over the corpses of Poland and the Baltics get away with the same thing.

First of all, Stalin backed the East Turkestan Republic in the Ili Rebellion, in which Rebiya Kadeer’s father joined in the murder of thousands of civilians. I note that it does not rank on your list along with “East Prussia” and Uliangkhai.

Secondly Mossadeq was of Turkic origin and a relative of the Qajar royal family. He was not a Communist. He had a grudge against Shah Reza Pahlavi for overthrowing the Qajars and that is where his opposition came from.

Thirdly, Shah Mohammed Pahlavi did not like America and in private he was very opposed to western infringement on Iran’s sovereignty. He said that he wanted to “F-ck” the British, and regularly insulted pro-western leaders in private. He was a Persian nationalist and also he said Jews controlled America. Look at his interviews with Mike Wallace on sixty minutes.

You know that calling Altishahr (Tarim Basin) as Eastern Turkestan is offensive to the native Iranic, Pamiri people who’ve lived there for thousands of years before Turkic people came to the region? People who call it East Turkestan deny and erase their existence. The Pamiris are classified as “Tajiks” by the Communist party.

Many Uyghurs today don’t know that the name of their ethnic group was the result of a conference in Tashkent in 1921. They think they always used that name. If you asked a Uyghur what their land is called, and they told you that they always called the region East Turkestan, they are displaying the same mentality.

The Tarim Basin was called “Altishahr” (Altä-shähär) by the Uyghurs before the 19th century. It means “six cities” in their language, referring to the six major oases cities.

Eastern Turkestan was a name invented by Russians and popularized by westerners. Pan-Turkic Uyghur nationalists adopted the term after being influenced in Russian Central Asia by Pan Turkic Jadidists.

This is like Manchuria, which was never used by Manchus as a place name. The Qing called the region “Dong san Sheng” and it was known as “Nurgan” during the Ming period. The Japanese and the west used Manchuria as a place name starting in the 19th century, and created Manchukuo as a puppet state. Manchus never called it that.

The CIA worked with the Grey Wolves in the 1970s-80s to murder leftist intellectuals in Turkey. This CIA backed them through the “Counter Guerilla” organization. Noticably America has PKK on its terrorist list, even though they never threatened America. Because Turkey is a western ally it never gets criticized like Iran does for doing the same or even worse things.

Chiang and the KMT were opposed to all forms of separatism, the ROC opposed the East Turkestan Republic, the Tibetans, and Outer Mongolia and did not recognize any of them. He wanted to abolish the Tibetan Lama’s control and settle Dzungaria with millions of Han.
