With pro-Palestinian demonstrators openly repeating genocidal jihad chants and Jews being threatened and brutalized in the U.S. and Europe, we are in the midst of the worst resurgence of anti-Semitism worldwide since the suicide of Adolf Hitler. And it is being fueled by Palestinian jihad propaganda against the state of Israel.
“Only On CBS2: Anti-Semitic Flyers Surface At Jewish-Owned Business Near UCLA,” CBS2, August 14, 2014:
WESTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Are events in the Middle East behind flyers with an anti-Jewish message that have surfaced near the UCLA campus?
CBS2’s Juan Fernandez reports a Jewish store owner said he found one of the handwritten flyers – which contain several swastikas along with the words “Wanted” and “Warning” – underneath the door of his business Tuesday morning.
The store’s owner, who did not want his identity revealed, said he experienced a range of emotions upon making the discovery.
“I was…deeply very sad, and I’m thinking, ‘Calm down, think about it’,” he said.
He then turned to Rabbi Boruch Cunin at Chabad House near UCLA for spiritual counseling and guidance, who said he was struggling to understand how such a thing could happen here in the Southland.
“In the center of Westwood to receive a leaflet with swastikas that says ‘Watch out’, ‘Be careful’, ‘You’ll see’, ‘Wanted’, and all of the rest of these threats,” said Cunin.
The flyers bore at least some resemblance to similar leaflets found in North Hollywood and Valley Village in June.
Some students at UCLA, meanwhile, were stunned to learn that anti-Semitic movements could be lurking so close to home.
“This is ridiculous,” said student Shannon Charrette. “My boyfriend’s Jewish, I have so many Jewish friends, there’s a Jewish frat down the street, and I cannot believe this is happening.”
Cunin said while it may be almost impossible to trace the flyers back to their source, he isn’t surprised by the campaign considering the recent conflict in Gaza between Israeli troops and Hamas.
A new report (PDF) from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) released Wednesday found a “dramatic upsurge in violence and vitriol against Jews around the world” in response to Operation Protective Edge, Israel’s recent military effort to stop Hamas rockets and tunnels in Gaza.

Wherever there are Muslim immigrants these anti-Semitic incidents, as well as hate-filled demonstrations arise. The irony is that UCLA, like so many universities, admit a lot of students from Muslim countries in the name of fairness, multiculturalism and diversity, and they bring with them a racism and bigotry that far exceeds anything we have domestically and makes a total mockery of the professed liberal standards of these schools.

Jay Boo, UCLA is part of the public University of California system—just like UC Berkeley.
Apart from private donors and a few public/private ventures, it is *entirely* tax payer funded.

It seems like world events are pushing the already crazy into even deeper and dangerous psychoses. If you zoom the flier it appears this person has issues with TV and reality. Regis Philbin?
It does not help that opposition to Israel responding to Gaza has in many cases turned into full-blown Jew hatred masquerading as principled opposition to supposed atrocities.

So true. I posted on a Dutch website about Geert Wilders, so much hatred against Geert. So one poser named Chris tried to make his anti Geert, anti Israel post as standing up against fascism. I replied yes Chris I am with you kill the Jews
I think that shocked him into realizing he was now seen as an intolerant facist too. People were going to join him in his perspective which could lead to genoside. He wrote me back trying to say that was not his intention.

One short booklet which exposes much about this topic is entitled THE NAZI ROOT OF PALESTINIAN NATIONALISM AND THE JIHAD. Which is a publication of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, Furthermore, the book THE TERRORIST NEXT DOOR by Erick Stakelbeck also has part of his book exposing this truth. There is also the internet site http://www.tellthechirdrenthetruth.com

I really respect the work of the Horowitz Freedom Center, Walter.
But while it’s very true that the *form* of the “Palestinian” Jihad has a lot of links to Nazism, and that links between Nazis and “Palestinian” Muslims were strong—see the contemporary Mufti of Jerusalem—and that Muslims continue to admire Hitler and the Holocaust, and use it as a taunt for Jews today, the fact is that Muslim roots of Jew-hating proceed the Holocaust by over *thirteen hundred years*.
Muhammed himself oppressed, enslaved, and mass-murdered Jews, and one of his last decrees was that all Jews (and Christians) be driven out of the Arabian peninsula.
Jews in Muslim lands have always lived as threatened dhimmis at best—with periodic outbreaks of savage genocide.
Beagle says
Supposedly Hitler thought the lack of response to the Armenian genocide suggested he could get away with one himself. Cart and horse, assembly required.

*Very* true, Beagle. Hitler wrote, “After all, who remembers the Armenians”?

Threatening anti-Semitic flyers placed at Jewish-owned business near UCLA
………………………….
This happened *near UCLA*? I have to admit I’m shocked—I didn’t think this open antisemitism—so rife in Britain and Europe—would reach the United States for some time.
But then, I’m still shocked that it is resurgent there…
But the toxic wave of antisemitism is moving fast now—at a pace that I’m sure has stunned other Anti-Jihadists, as well.
And perhaps I shouldn’t be so shocked—after all, I am all too familiar with the vicious antisemitism—lightly cloaked as “anti-Zionism”—prevalent at “pro-Palestinian” demonstrations on campus both at UCLA and at UC Berkeley.
Also note: Westwood, the neighborhood around UCLA has a large Jewish population—and a very old one, by California standards. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more of this barbarism.
The only real question is whether this was perpetrated by Muslims, or by hard-leftist “Palestinian” supporters. Appalling, either way.

In order to provide the appropriate level of respect for Palestinian civilians, Israel should follow the example of that great Democrat president Harry S Truman.
In particular, the high level of respect for Japanese and German civilians when weighed against the possibility of losing american lives (soldiers).

Why should the UCLA students be shocked? This past year Students for Justice in Palestine has campaigned to keep jewish students off the student government and UC regents. Even Janet napolitano and UCLA chancellor Gene Block had to issue statements.
For the past few weekends, pro-Hamas supporters have protested in front of the federal building two blocks away, holding not only the Palestinian flag, but the Hamas flag as well. Last Sunday, I stood among them with placards that condemned anti-Semitism in the US, as well as ISIS and Hamas. Several came to engage me and two older Arabs were particularly belligerant. One told me in no uncertain terms that he held Jews responsible for not only the fighting in Gaza, but for controlling the US govt and banks as well. I also got a few “F-You bombs” thrown at me.
The anti-Semitism at UCLA and Westwood has been on full display. Nobody should be shocked.

Well done for standing up to evil face-to-face.
You are brave.
You need more friends to stand with you.
something else to consider.
All over the west and beyond it (e.g. in India), the jihad-aware Friends of Zion, such as yourself, and myself, and others here, need to actively make contact with the local Jewish community – Chabad house, synagogue, Jewish student association if we are on or near a University campus, and the Zionist organisations. We need to give them our contact details and tell them: “If you need us, if you call us, **we will come**.”

Something to inspire the friends of Israel worldwide.
Ryan Bellerose, Canadian First Nations man (Metis), and staunch friend of Israel (he’s even visited, and loves the place) decided to try an experiment. He would, as an act of solidarity, don the kippah and walk in Jewish shoes for a week, in Calgary, Canada.
He is one biiig guy, physically, so he was not fazed by the prospect of physical assault.
He then explained what he experienced.

One Week As A Jew
Excerpt:
“All I had to do to incur the hatred and enmity that comes along with being Jewish, was put on a hat.
“I didn’t need to speak, walk or act differently, just put on a hat that identifies me as a Jew.
“Now think about that.
“I wore the same clothes I always wear, spoke the exact same way, walked the same way, but by putting on a small piece of woolen apparel, I suddenly became despised to the point where it was uncomfortable for me to walk in certain areas in my own city here in Canada.
“I had a few people threaten me with physical violence but in all honesty, I am not a small man so I was not concerned.
” It just made me think about what smaller people must go through, people who do not have my gifts.
“I should be clear: while I wore the kippah, I tried not to behave badly. I maintained my generally civil disposition, I still held doors, I still behaved much like I normally do. I didnt suddenly keep kosher, I wasn’t keeping shabbot, I just wore the hat. But to some people, that made me a target for hate. It made me a Jew.”
And you can hear a podcast where he talks about it, here.

Perhaps, for all of us who *are* friends of Zion, and who clearly see that the war on the Jews – both within and outside of Israel – is one front of the global Jihad against *everything* not-Islam, it is time to think about what Ryan did, and ask ourselves: could *we* do similar?
Some time ago, as I became aware of the rising tide of Jew-hatred, I decided that as a small personal act of solidarity, each Saturday I would take off the cross pendant I wear the rest of the week, and wear the Star of David. But during this Gaza skirmish, the moment Israel went in to try to hammer Hamas and the usual nonsense began to be spewed in the media, and the Let’s-hate-da-Jooz pro-Gaza/ pro-Hamas rallies began happening, I reversed the pattern: I decided I would wear the Star Monday through Saturday, and my cross on Sundays.
Now, I am not large and intimidating, not trained in combat, don’t carry a weapon; I am a medium-sized middle-aged rapidly-greying matron. Luckily for me, my *particular* part of Australia is not heavily Islamo-infested…yet …and I don’t have occasion to frequent a university campus. So for me the risk is minimal. It might become greater, in future; probably will. But not at the moment.
And yet: if I *am* wearing that Star of David, each morning when I pick it up and put it on, I am reminded that there *are* now Australian suburbs, and I would hazard the guess, not a few university campuses, where to visibly display a Star of David would feel like walking around with a target painted to one’s shirt. And that is just WRONG.
I wonder how many NON-JEWISH – pro-Israel faculty and students there might be at UCLA, who could be challenged to all band together and emulate Ryan Bellerose’s example – to walk in Jewish shoes – not just for a day but for a week, or a month, and not one person alone, but many?
Flush the haters right out into the open by providing them with *lots* of “bait”. But carry the wherewithal to record every single unpleasant encounter.
Ryan Bellerose says
Wearing the Kippah was not easy, nowhere near as easy as I thought it would be. But I keep hoping more people will do it or do something similiar, I am a pretty big guy so I dont expect everyone to do what I did. I appreciate what you did with the Magen David.

I read this article while sitting in my husband’s room at UCLA Medical Center. He had major surgery on Wednesday. My husband’s lovely surgeon is Jewish…as are a very large number of the doctors here. Everywhere I look I see Jewish names on donor plaques…the most common surnames on the plaques & donated facilities. When you consider what a small percentage of the population Jews are, and the amount of knowledge they have contributed to humankind, it is truly awesome.
Jew-haters are inspired by jealousy and demonic forces.
As a Jewish carpenter said: By their fruit you shall know them.

Would it not be possible for a “solidarity walk” to be undertaken in the area by friends of Zion – by Jews and by non-Jewish persons who wish to a/ condemn antisemitism of all varieties and b/ express support for Israel – taking in the UCLA campus and surrounding neighbourhood, in particular, known Jewish precinct/s and institutions/ businesses? Perhaps begin and end at the local synagogue, or the Chabad house, or wherever it is that the on-campus Jewish student body likes to hang out?
All attendees to wear items proclaiming their Jewish (whether Israeli or non-Israeli) identity, if Jewish, and if non-Jewish, showing solidarity by, for example, wearing a star of David and/ or or wearing blue and white.

Academics at US Universities have promoted liberal thinking for a long time. UC Universities have been tolerant of this form of “free speech” and at UC Irvine, San Diego and Berkeley they have allowed Muslim hate talk to expand. Robert Spencer and David Horowitz have been calling our attention to this phenomena. It is just a cancer that is spreading like a wildfire. It is do to arrive in every University town soon. I heard it was seen in Boulder, Colorado as well. Soon Jews will not be safe anywhere.
