Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

UN condemns Israel’s latest war crime: Not sharing Iron Dome with Hamas

Aug 1, 2014 11:27 am By Robert Spencer

iron-dome-APIs the UN really anything else these days but an arm of the global jihad? Is there any sound reason to continue to fund it and support it? It has become a stick that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) uses to beat Israel. That is all. It deserves nothing but the contempt of free people everywhere.

“UN Condemns Israel’s Latest War Crime: Not Sharing Iron Dome with Hamas,” by Thomas Rose, Breitbart News, July 31, 2014 (thanks to Block Ness):

The UN’s top human rights official again condemned Israel for its military actions to stop Hamas rocket attacks against Israeli civilians, accusing the Jewish state of “deliberately defying International Law… in a way that may constitute war crimes.”

Navi Pillay told reporters following yet another “emergency” meeting of the Geneva-based UN Human Rights Council that Israel was not doing enough to protect civilians. “There is a strong possibility,” said the known Israel critic, “that international law has been violated, in a manner that could amount to war crimes.”

Among the UN’s long bill of particulars against the beleaguered Jewish state comes the almost unbelievable accusation that Israel’s refusal to share its Iron Dome ballistic missile defense shield with the “governing authority” of Gaza – i.e. Hamas, the terror group created to pursue the extermination of the Jewish state and now waging a terrorist war against it – constitutes a war crime against the civilians of Gaza.

The UN chairwoman criticized the U.S. for helping fund Israel’s Iron Dome system which has saved countless Israeli and Palestinian lives. “No such protection has been provided to Gazans against the shelling,” she said.

Just because Hamas fires rockets indiscriminately aimed at Israeli civilian population centers without provocation and fires them from within its own population centers does not “absolve” Israel from its own legal violations, Pillay told reporters Thursday.

Marking the end of her contentious, six-year term as chairman of the notoriously anti-Israel UNHRC, Pillay saved her harshest condemnations for what she termed Israeli “targeting” of UN-run schools and hospitals in Gaza. She did not mention, nor was she reminded by any of the reporters present, that as of this writing, at least three UN-run schools in Gaza have been used as rocket warehouses, a gross violation of international law that clearly falls within the category of war crimes. Neither did she mention, nor was she reminded, that in at least two of the three cases cited above, the terror rockets found on UN property in Gaza were returned to Hamas by the UN.

“What I’m seeing now is a recurrence of the very acts that the Gaza fact-finding mission indicated as constituting war crimes and crimes against humanity,” she said.

The UN’s Human Rights Council has long been a source of deep embarrassment to some UN supporters all-too-conscious that the council is widely regarded as a cesspool of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish hatred, manipulated by the world’s very worst human rights abusers to cover up their own gross abuses of human rights by scapegoating Israel.

Current members of the UN Human Rights Council include China, Russia, Cuba, and Saudi Arabia. Iran and North Korea have been recent active members of the body. So execrable were the actions and abuses of the UNHRC in the past that the body was in fact disbanded in 2006 after the late terrorist leader of Libya Muammar Gaddafi was elected President of the Council.

While Israel is the only country in the world that remains a standing agenda item at every session, the human rights body has to date said nothing about the recent Russian-backed shooting down of Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 over Ukraine, nor has it condemned the ongoing mass killings in Syria or South Sudan. North Korea, China, Pakistan, Syria, Sudan, or Iran, all recent or current members of the council, have never been condemned by it.

The UNHRC has never formally mentioned “Hamas” by name, let alone condemned it.

From 2006 through 2012, Israel was formally condemned by the UNHRC at least 47 times.

What does the UN have to say about this?

GUESS? What ‘religion’ destroys Synagogues, Christian churches, Hindu temples, breeds terrorism and commits 91 % of the honor killings (MiddleEastForum) yet has the arrogance to insist on a United Nation’s resolution to be exempt from criticism? WOW! That was quick.

    Choices, choices, choices.

Some choose to understand nature, including human nature.

    Others choose to destroy.

Muslims have “won” 10 Nobel prizes; only 1 in chemistry, 1 in physics; the rest in the phony categories (“Peace” (choke!), literature), meaning these were “awarded” based on politics and political correctness.

Jews, representing an infinitesimal percentage of the world’s population, have won >150 Noble prizes, the vast, vast majority of them in the hard sciences.

There may be method in this UN madness. I mean that this could be the first step to America providing Hamas with the technology or the Dome system to even up the so-called imbalance between the two sides.

Bizarrely, however, if both sides had had the same system before this latest conflict, then only Israel would want to use it as Hamas relies on the body count to fulfill its ‘death cult’ belief system and gain international sympathy. Also, it would sound bizarre for Hamas to claim it ‘loves death more than life’ while sheltering under the latest cutting edge defense umbrella.

    Hamas clowns!

hamas is not interested in defensive weapons, only offensive weapons. In any case, even if hamas were given sophisticated defensive missile systems, it would not be able to maintain it for any prolonged period of time. Its personnel is too technically inept (give monkeys a jet fighter and they will simply climb over it or around it). The real problem however with hamas gaining something like the irondome system is that it would likely try to use it against civilian israeli aircraft operating within the range of the system. In fact, no aircraft would dare fly within 70 km of gaza’s borders for no one (not even the un) really knows if hamas would shoot them down. There is also a real possibility that hamas may even ship (at least try to) the weapons to other terror groups around the world, directly or indirectly. So, in short this unhrc chairperson is quite dumb – actions absent consequences. But then again, the un does have the uncanny capacity of impeding the mental capacity of those working for it.

Does anybody know what the UN is doing or saying about ISIS in Syria and Iraq? ANYTHING?

These guys are deliberately and intentionally killing Christians in the thousands (in contrast to collateral victims in Gaza that Hamas purposely puts next to it’s rocket launchers), the body counts are exponential compared to the Palestinians, their destroying churches that go back nearly to the time of Christ and all I hear from the UN is what the Israelis are doing to the perpetual ‘victims’ of Gaza, who unlike the Christians of Iraq, started all this shit by firing rockets at the Israelis and kidnapping their kids and murdering them.

Kick the UN out of the US and let them set up shop in Mogadishu, they should be much more at home in that Islamic shithole.

Here is this OIC tool speaking about the security barrier.

Ray of light ? My arse, in the vulgar words of Jim Royle.

Speaking at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) about Israel’s security barrier, al-Hussein said in 2004 that “suicide bombings have indeed been nothing less than horrific.” He then added that “those events do not stand by themselves. Israel’s argument, centered as it is on the sporadic suicide bombings of the last three years in particular, must be weighed against almost four decades of Israel dominating and, by virtue of its occupation, degrading, an entire civilian population; often unleashing practices, which have been no less horrific, resulting in a huge number of innocent Palestinian deaths and casualties.”

Odd, but in 1944 not even Hitler cried and continually asked for “ceasefires” so he could regroup. And he did not request more anti-aircraft guns from the Allies. The islamical ragheads want to boast of their prowess and hide behind women and children. Why doesn’t this UN bitch simply ask the IDF to bomb its own cities? What total idiots fill our supposedly political clubs!

The UN should be asked to leave NYC within the next hour, or sooner! What nation is so self-destructive that they invite their adversaries into their midst to carry out jihad and other subversions?

“What nation is so self-destructive that they invite their adversaries into their midst to carry out jihad and other subversions?”

Let me think… France, Belgium, UK, Spain, USA, Sweden, Germany, Australia, Canada…

It’s a lot harder to think of a country that hasn’t allowed the mohammedans to come in and set up their armouries and hate schools!

The problem is that we tend to judge other by ourselves, and compared to mohammedans we are very friendly and peaceful people. So nice, in fact, that most of us find it impossible to believe just how appalling mohammedans really are.

      • Jan Fourowls says

        Aug 2, 2014 at 8:26 am

Agreed, Aardvark; that is a huge part of the problem. Reading the Quran for the first time, for instance, was a stomach-churning appalling experience like a session first hand with humanity-hating Satan himself. Now I can experience it as just an evil book like Mein Kampf, but at first the supernatural hatred simmered from the pages.

It is hard to imagine evil as palpable as the routine violence and the chronic deception of Islam because other than the relatively rare torture-fest cannibals, deranged mass shooters and serial murderers (who cause a vastly smaller percentage of global murders that do Sunni Muslims), only mutilating genocidal Islamic terrorists in our modern world have that level of venom corroding their souls.

This is exactly the type of free speech via writing that currently in-committee S. 2219 of Sen. Ed Markey and H.R. 3878 of Rep. Hakeem Jeffries is designed to silence and potentially prosecute if the legislation is ever enacted. (The small % assigned for likely success by online tracking is taqiyya. The lead senator in my state has already signaled likely passage after I wrote opposing it.) Write and call to oppose if you can, please, and you’re in the U.S.

For on page 82 it informs the reader that “‘Hamas’ is an Arabic acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement, and it means ‘Zeal.” Since its inception. Hamas has been committed to destroying the Jewish State of Israel and replacing it wit an Islamic state…” In the hearts of many Muslim this could could feel like a good idea. The UNRWA (UN Refugee relief agency) is directly culpable in the HAMAS military buildup and operations in Gaza that led to this war. Despite the stated weaponization of procreation by Palestinians, UNRWA has, without protest, funded the highest birthrate on the planet for several generations. Thanks to UNRWA financial and material assistance, HAMAS has been able to divert massive resources into tunnel construction and weapons acquisitions. UNRWA is the major employer in Gaza, and HAMAS has used UNRWA schools and hospitals as weapons storage depots and launch areas, again without meaningful protest or response from UNRWA.

UNRWA is not a passive, neutral bystander to this conflict but is an integral HAMAS financial and tactical asset. UNRWA is, in actual fact, a combatant. This needs to change. The entire management of UNRWA needs to be fired for incompetence and worse.

Israel should share Iron Dome technology with Gaza and Hamas? WTF???? Has anyone pointed out to this UN wacko that Gaza had been shooting rockets for months at Israel (not just now but in 2012 as well) before Israel shot back to defend itself.

So, during WWII the American war industries were amazing with their productivity. So should the USA has taken a part some of those factories and shipped them to the Nazis to make things more “equal?”

Should America have lifted the embargo on natural resources to Japan? What about a delivery of American bombers to the Italian Fascists? And of course lets have an “even playing field” and America should have invited Nazi and Japanese scientists to help with the Manhattan Project and given them a couple of their own atomic bombs?

And as Nazi Germany was falling… the Allied air forces continued bombing; they did not ask for a “cease fire” to give Nazis more time to “re-group.”

Remember the high death count amongst Allied troops during the Battle of the Bulge… around Christmas of 1944… and into 1945; with the war only having months to go… Americans were brutalized and killed as POWs of the Nazis.

Can you imagine if we “let up” on Germany or shared weapons or resources with the Nazis? How many more deaths of Allied forces, European civilians or Londoners being bombed by Nazis if the Germany got “benefits” from the Allies?

Hey? Lets flip it! I didn’t see Nazi Germany share their “fighter jet” technology or V1 & V2 rockets with England?

Israel has Iron Dome technology because of the brilliance and innovative spirit of the Israeli people, industry and commerce. Gaza and Hamas? The muzz are a political death cult who believe drinking camel urine can cure disease, women should breast-feed grown men and American astronauts heard Mohammed on the moon missions.

These idiots want technology like Iron Dome? Let the muzz idiots invent it themselves. Which they won’t be able to do.

From Winston Churchill’s book about war in Afghanistan and on the North-West Frontier of India in the late 19th century, “The Story of the Malakand Field Force” (google it; Gutenberg have digitised the whole thing and you can read it online; the most important part is the first chapter, “The Theatre of War”):

“…That religion [i.e. ISLAM] which above all others was founded and propagated by the sword – the tenets and principles of which are instinct with incentives to slaughter and which in three continents has produced fighting breeds of men – stimulates a wild and merciless fanaticism.”…
“It is, thank heaven, difficult if not impossible for the modern European to fully appreciate the force which fanaticism exercises among an ignorant, warlike and Oriental population.
“Several generations have elapsed since the nations of the West have drawn the sword in religious controversy, and the evil memories of the gloomy past have soon faded in the strong, clear light of Rationalism and human sympathy. Indeed it is evident that Christianity, however degraded and distorted by cruelty and intolerance, must always exert a modifying influence on men’s passions, and protect them from the more violent forms of fanatical fever, as we are protected from smallpox by vaccination.
“But the Mahommedan religion increases, instead of lessening, the fury of intolerance.
“It was originally propagated by the sword, and ever since, its votaries have been subject, above the people of all other creeds, to this form of madness.
“In a moment the fruits of patient toil, the prospects of material prosperity, the fear of death itself, are flung aside.
“The more emotional Pathans are powerless to resist. All rational considerations are forgotten. Seizing their weapons they become Ghazis – as dangerous and as sensible as wild dogs: fit only to be treated as such.
“While the more generous spirits among the tribesmen become convulsed in an ecstasy of religious bloodthirstiness, poorer and more material souls derive additional impulses from the influence of others, the hopes of plunder, and the joy of fighting.
“Thus whole nations are roused to arms.
“Thus the Turks repel their enemies, the Arabs of the Soudan break the British squares, and the rising on the Indian frontier spreads far and wide.

**”In each case civilisation is confronted with militant Mahommedanism.
“The forces of progress clash with those of reaction.
“The religion of blood and war is face to face with that of peace.
“Luckily the religion of peace is usually the better armed.”**
    END

By “the religion of peace” Churchill meant Christianity, the religion which most heavily influenced western civilisation. But one could just as properly refer to Christianity’s matrix, Judaism – with its prioritising of Life over Death, its conviction that the Shalom of YHWH is both original and final – as a “religion of peace”.

So let’s just contemplate what is happening in Gaza, and describe it by slightly adapting the final sentences of that Churchill peroration:

“… civilisation is confronted with militant Mahommedanism.
“The forces of progress clash with those of reaction.
“The religion of blood and war is face to face with that of peace.
“Luckily the religion of peace is the better armed.”

I am deeply content that things should be thus; that the peace-loving, life-affirming Jews of Israel happen (not coincidentally, not “luckily’, in fact) possess better weaponry – both offensive and *defensive* – than the militant Mahommedans of Jihad Armed Camp Gaza.

It is precisely because the Jews value and nurture intellect and cooperation and human creativity and imagination that they are able – as a kind of *byproduct* of that energetic and playful cultivation of all aspects of the human – to produce *better weapons* than are produced by those whose brains are stunted and numbed by the soul-destroying cult of allah.

The UN is the anti-christ (ALL nations come against Israel), and the bodily form of satUN will soon makes it’s appearance thru ISIS.

We all need to draw closer to the Lord Jesus/Yeshua! Pray to Him to be allowed to escape all that is about to come on the face of the entire earth!

I think the UN owes the Nazi and the Japanese an apology for not being around during WW2 to fight for THEIR rights in that the Allies didn’t share their technology with them! Just thing how many Luftwaffe and U-Boat crewmen could have been save if the Brits had shared their latest radar and sonar innovations with them, or let them know that their enigma codes had been broken. We could have shared our latest aviation technology with the Japanese so that they could have better defended themselves during the Iwo Jima and Okinowa invasions, and they could have blasted the Enola Gay out of the sky long before it got close to Hiroshima.

Does she not realize that HAMAS and Isreal are at war? Would she complain that the US wasn’t sharing military technology with Nazi Germany, or Imperial Japan? This woman is out of her freaking mind.

She does not seem to understand that Hamas wants the Palestinians to die as martyrs. These large number of deaths help them to be the victim and get money and sympathy. A large number of the rockets that kill Palestinians come from Hamas rocket that fall short. If they got money to buy an Iron Dome they would use it for destruction.

    Hamas is killing their own.
