  2. Apart from complete ostracism handed down to her I don’t know what she would be prosecuted for in the U.S. But I do suppose that in the U.K. she’d be brought before the court to answer charges of “inciting communal strife” and “threatening societal cohesion.”

    • Obviously anyone who wants to be safe from a beheading is an Islamophobe. It is the moral duty of all people to accept beheading and not protest as the sword is coming down on their head. Submission leads to increased “community cohesion” which we all know is the paramount concern.

    Pope Francis asked Catholics around the world to pray for tens of thousands of Christians from villages in north-east Iraq who were forced from their homes in the middle of the night by Islamic State militants.

    The Pope also made a “pressing appeal to the international community to take initiatives to put an end to the humanitarian drama underway, to take steps to protect those involved and threatened by violence and to ensure the necessary aid for so many displaced people whose fate depends on the solidarity of others,” the Vatican spokesman said earlier today.

    Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, the spokesman, told reporters the Pope was appealing “to the conscience of all people and every believer,” repeating what he had said on July 20 after a similar forced exodus of Christians from Mosul: “May the God of peace create in all an authentic desire for dialogue and reconciliation. Violence is not conquered with violence. Violence is conquered with peace. Let us pray in silence, asking for peace.”

    Last night fighters belonging to the Islamic State attacked the predominantly Christian town of Qaraqosh and other villages in Ninevah province, said Chaldean Patriarch Louis Sako of Baghdad. “The Christians, about 100,000, horrified and panicked, fled their villages and houses with nothing but the clothes on their backs,” he added.

    In an appeal, the patriarch described the scene as “an exodus, a real ‘via crucis’” or Way of the Cross. “Christians are walking on foot in Iraq’s searing summer heat” toward Iraqi Kurdistan. “They are facing a human catastrophe and risk a real genocide. They need water, food, shelter.”

    The central Iraqi government appears incapable of protecting its citizens, the patriarch said, and there is no cooperation or coordination with the regional government.

    The Islamic State fighters, he said, are taking advantage of the power vacuum “to impose their rule and terror. There is a need of international support and a professional, well-equipped army. The situation is going from bad to worse.”

        CNN will have to cover this because Obama is acting, but my question for the left is this.

        How will Hamas treat the Israelis, if not checked, any differently than ISIS is treating the Yazidi’s? All of the evidence in regards to their Charter, their rhetoric and the way they behave indicates Hamas and ISIS are the same.

      I think it is no doubt for both reasons, but also much more. Due to unassimilated mass immigration and leftist social grooming, the West can’t define itself any more, which diffuses its defenses and permits Muslims a platform to make its false claims and intimidate non-Muslims without strong opposition.

    • Allah is the Arabic word for God. The reason some terrorists use the Quran is because they don’t really understand it. The Quran was revealed in stages to meet historical demands and events. A lot of the Quran was pertaining to only events in those days superseded later by other laws.

      Knowledgeable Muslim scholars know that if there was a law revealed in say 600 AD But in 605 AD the same law was revealed differently or changed then the later applied (the 605 AD law).

      In the Quran there was a law revealed that was towards the end of Muhammad’s life that was never super ceded so it remains in effect now. That law is that there is to be no compulsion in religion. That is, others cannot be forced to convert to Islam.

      Evil Mullas have insisted that only they have the right to interpret the Quran and so their followers blindly accept that. Having blind acceptance automatically these evil Mullas have proceeded to use the earlier superseded laws of the Quran to quote violent Jihad as coming from the Quran when it’s been superseded by a law forbidding it. But most Muslims don’t know that so they are tricked into thinking Jihad is a law of the Quran for this day when it was only meant for a small period for defense of the innocent small Muslim community then. Once the law about no compulsion in religion was revealed Jihad became obsolete. But evil Mullas have used or misused the earlier quotes to justify Jihad which is forbidden in Islam as the law was later superseded just before Muhammad died.

      • The “no compulsion” merely means that as Islam according to Islam is so clearly the right and perfect religion, then only the fools and the arrogant would not embrace it and would choose their own doom instead. It doesn’t mean that people are free to believe what they want. Given that Allah is going to throw such fools and arrogant infidels into Islamic hellfire, it would makes sense for Muslims to force conversions so that some go to the Islamic paradise in chains instead of being sent to Islamic hellfire.

        Secondly, the “no compulsion” verse is in any case abrogated by later verses that instruct Muslims to fight the non-Muslims until they convert, pay the jizya, or are killed. I don’t know where you get the idea that the “no compulsion” is a late teaching that is somehow permanently in effect. It isn’t. The command to fight the People of the Book came later.

        Your explanation of jihad is compeletely false and has nothing to do with mainstream Islam.

        The problem here is that your understanding of Islam is based on the Baha’i faith. Just like the Ahmadis, you claim to present the true understanding of Islam, but while you are doing so, you are doing great harm by blinding non-Muslims to the reality of Islam. The Baha’i faith and the Ahmadiyya are not Islam and both faith communities are persecuted by Muslims.

        The idea that verses calling for Jihad have been abrogated by ones forbidding it is the *exact opposite* of the actual situation.

        And his blaming this on nothing but “Mullas” (sic) is absurd. For one thing, these ISIS Jihadists are *Sunni* supremacists—only the Shia have Mullahs.

          “Mullah” is not a Shia specific term. It is used by both Sunnis and Shia in the Persianate Islamic world. But in the Arab world, neither Sunni nor Shia use the term “Mullah”.

          Even though Mullah is originally derived from Arabic, it is used only by Muslims influenced by distinctly Persian culture, like how the Arabic term Maulana (Our master) is only used by Muslims from the Indian subcontinent to refer to respected Muslims (Arabs consider it blasphemous to use that term on people, they only use it for Allah)

          The Taliban leader Mullah Muhammad Omar would sock anyone in the fact if they called him a Shia.

          Mullah is used in Central Asia, south asia, Iran and Turkey (all influenced by Persianate style Islam) by both Sunni and Shia.

          It is not used in the Arab World.

          I had to repeat this point several times, because your terminally degenerated brain doesn’t seem to be able to grasp any facts.

    GENEVA, 6 August 2014, (BWNS) — Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has resumed its demolition of a historic Baha’i cemetery in Shiraz, Iran, after pausing for several months in the face of international pressure and the expression of outrage on the part of Iranians from all walks of life.

    Reports from Iran indicate that the Guard has now removed human remains from some 30 to 50 of the 950 graves of Baha’is in the cemetery, placing them in an open canal to make way for the construction of a new cultural and sports complex.

    In June, the Guards held a public celebration of their progress in clearing the site. In advance of that celebration, to which the media was invited, they used a heavy roller to compact the ground. A carpet was then laid over a number of graves and the commander of the Guards gave a speech attacking Baha’is.

    “The manner in which the Revolutionary Guards have gone about destroying these sacred grounds and, now, celebrating its demolition goes beyond the pale in terms of humane behavior,” said Diane Ala’i, the representative of the Baha’i International Community to the United Nations in Geneva.

      This is horrible, but should not surprise. Desecrating graves is a Muslim thing—Jewish gravestones were used to line latrines in Syria. Recently Muslims in Tunisia desecrated a Christian cemetery. There are many more examples.

      I’m not sure I’d count on that outrage “on the part of Iranians from all walks of life”. No doubt some few decent individuals are upset, but most of the Iranian population are pious Muslims, and not apt to condemn the further oppression of “heretics” and “infidels”.

I hope President Obama and all the leaders of Western democracies sit through the brutal, inhumane images of children being beheaded, or a woman butchered halal-style with her blood being drained into a large metal bowl. These images posted on Catholic online are seared in my mind and I cannot get them out of it. It’s one thing to read about the atrocities of Hilter’s death camps where babies were thrown into open fire pits: it’s another to see the brutal process with your own eyes. These pictures need to seen by the world, especially Muslims who live under the protection of democratic systems. Muslims may classify themselves into the good side, the side who say their religion has been hijacked by the other kinds, ISIS, Hamas, Boco Haram, and so on. But my point is this, something rotten exists at the core of Islam that sustains these antithetical interpretaions. There is no single, unqualified sanction—Thou Shalt Not Kill—to act as a tempering mechanism. Islam rests on perverse and illogical edicts that endorse wanton slaughter and that draw sick and depraved psychopaths to its service. Combine a common or garden psychopath with Islam and you have a folie a deux—an Ian Brady and Myra Hindley, or a Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. The blending creates an unspeakeable capacity for atrocity.

    She is right—this is the same basis on which Christians are being similarly slaughtered, and even non-Sunni Muslins such as the Shia.

    But one has to wonder how her speech went over with her fellow Iraqi Parliamentarians—most of whom are pious Muslims, follow that same grim banner, if somewhat less overtly than does the new “Caliphate”.
