Wish I could be there. I support you in spirit. Every day I hope and pray the ongoing nightmare of the IS will come to an end, for the Yazidis and everyone else.

The Vatican “unambiguously denounce and condemn these practices unworthy of man”. The denunciation lists them: they are orthodox Koran-faithful Islam. See:
“The Vatican is Blind to the Fundamental Barbarism of Islam”

Pope Benedict XVI merely hinted at the fundamental evils of Islam an was wildly criticized into ineffectiveness by an opportunistic parasitic complicit news media.
Maybe the Vatican is not Blind at all but quite aware of the hazards to navigate.
Let’s hope they will pick their battles wisely and have support when they do.
Islam is very porous and so is the news media. We must learn to turn this inherent evil upon itself where it belongs.

Good work, MC.

I assume there will be plenty of local supporters there.
Is it possible to drive into NYC and locate a parking garage nearby Union Square?
There is a train from Secaucus, New Jersey to Penn Station for those familiar with the local Subway system and interconnects this could be a possibility. Note: Sometimes there are weird characters on the local trains even in the daytime so out-of-towners might wish to an early start in and out of the event.

Hope to get updates on the rally .

Note
I don’t recall if Penn Station is the best option place to transfer to the local NYC subway when heading to Union Square.
I has been a while since I traveled through NYC.
Maybe someone from that area could give better directions.

This is disturbing but not surprising. I have read two basic stories about the Kurds abandoning Yazidi areas: (1) they had no ammunition, and now for the second time, (2) they were leaving the Yazidis to the tender mercies of their fellow Sunnis. This time the article has more detail.

MSN is touting that Kurds are supporting the Yazidi and training them in Syria.
MSN even listed the location which would seem a bit irresponsible of MSN.
David says
The Kurdish defenders were under great stress because of the heavy weaponry that ISIS took from the Iraqi Army. The Kurds did not have heavy weaponry to fight ISIS. The U.S. hasn’t given them heavy weaponry because the U.S. wanted the Kurds to join the Iraqi Army and wanted to avoid Turkish objections to arming the Kurds.

Deja vu…
Right. I agree with all that. Questions remain about how the peshmerga pulled out after claiming they would fight no matter what, how quickly, and the lack of warning to the Yazidis. The DB article has much more detail and and names names.

Bravo to all of the brave men and women speaking at this important rally! …and thank you too.

Way too far from me to make it. I would love to hear Pamela or Robert in Person as well as the other supporters. I try to inform people around me with only casual interest. The southeast hasn’t been hit like NY. Yet that is.

We ex-Muslims living with Islam’s formal and informal death penalty for apostasy know that Mohammedanism is a cruel and evil fraud.
Any non-Muslim person that looks favorably upon Islamic theology and the Sharia is a fool. Peace to Muslims, death to Islam, and long live the Counter Jihad!
Islam is no “religion of peace”. Islam is primarily a religion of “injustice, intolerance, hatred, and violence.” The fact is, if we non-Muslims were to say about Muslims what the Qur’an says about us, we would be arrested for hate speech. The Qur’an largely preaches discrimination, death, and imposition of its dogma on everyone. Certainly some Muslims will be offended by such statements, but frankly, so what? Judaism and Christianity, the world’s two other major monotheistic religions, have had to face the harshest of scrutiny and criticism for several hundred years which continues to this day. Islam must not be granted any special privileges or be exempt from such treatment – the implications are of tremendous importance.
Here is a recent statement from a group of Bangladeshi apostates living in the UK explaining the reasons why they have abandoned Islam:
“One who claims to be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert, and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claims to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad’s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. He raped the women captured in war after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have sex with their captives (Qur’an 33:50). He assassinated those who criticized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. He was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way…
The statement continues,
Muhammad was a narcissist, like Hitler, Saddam or Stalin. He was astute and knew how to manipulate people, but his emotional intelligence was less evolved than that of a 6-year-old child. He simply could not feel the pain of others. He brutally massacred thousands of innocent people and pillaged their wealth. His ambitions were big and as a narcissist he honestly believed he is entitled to do as he pleased and commit all sorts of crimes and his evil deeds are justified.”

Good luck and God bless – I hope you got an excellent turnout, and that lots of New York-based jihadwatch posters and lurkers got a chance to meet face to face and network.
Will look forward to hearing how it went.

I went to rally. Not as big as last one. Good to hear Geller and Spencer. Somespeakers spoke a little to much about religion for my taste, though.

The problem is not only ISIS or ISIL, the problem is IS LAM!
Every single mosque in the world, by definition, is modeled on the mosque of Muhammad in Medina in accordance with the Sunnah. The Sunnah interprets the Qur’an by reporting exhaustively on everything that Muhammad said, did, or consented to. Therefore, his Medina mosque, the first mosque, was a place where he gave judgments, where he decided who would be executed, where he instituted policy—domestic and military— where Jihad war strategies were designed. Consequently, it was a storage place for arms, a military training base, and was where troops were blessed and dispatched.

Yes indeed. Ordinary mainstream Islam is as bad as ISIS. Now what does this say about the average Muslim…? (Other than the smiling friendly Muslims who must be different and therefore okay! 🙂

Yes, A is B and B is A. The main point is Muslims, and how many Muslims do we exempt from our reasonable suspicion to protect our societies, and on what grounds do we grant them such an exemption? It’s easy to thump one’s chest in the Counter-Jihad about Islam; the test comes with Muslims. How many millions of Muslims will the no-nonsense Counter-Jihad guy or gal let off the hook because they are “ignorant of their own Islam” or they are “lax” in their beliefs, or they are “not observant” or any number of other ways we have devised to figure out a way to avoid the dreaded A word (“all” Muslims) so that we may spare ourselves a threat to our own ethical narcissism (apparently more important than the safety of our own societies)?

Well, here you see, if you have understanding.
The leader was a U.S. translator and the group worked closely with U.S. intelligence and military apparatus.
Thus, clear enemies.
No questions to ask.
Sometimes I wonder, whose work was Moses doing, when he took the Levites, and told them to through their own village and kill each man their neighbours, brothers and relatives.. About 3000 men got killed. (2. Mos. 32:26-27)
And I have to say they were in the work of God!!
What about that..?
Can you explain..?
