Numan Haider stabbed a police officer and a federal agent. He threatened to kill Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott. He was shot dead in the midst of his jihad attack on the police. And apparently, from their actions at the funeral, his family blames the Australian media. Perhaps we should send them some of our large coterie of pro-jihad journalists, such as Christiane Amanpour, Niraj Warikoo, Jennifer Fermino and Bob Smietana. Then they would put down their stones and show us Islam’s peaceful and tolerant side.
“Family reacts: Anger and grief boil over at mosque,” by Aleks Devic and James Dowling, Herald Sun, September 26, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):
ANGER boiled over outside a mosque as the body of the shot teen was prepared for burial.
A man threw rocks at media waiting at the Doveton mosque after earlier being seen at Numan Haider’s family home.
The teen terror suspect’s family spoke of their devastation.
Others grieving the loss of Haider lashed out at police for shooting him.
Religious leaders told the Herald Sun Haider was expected to be buried as soon as today, after a Muslim service. More details have emerged about Haider and his family.
The 18-year-old’s two brothers are university students, doing courses in pharmacy and engineering.
Haider, who finished his VCE at Lyndale Secondary College in Dandenong, studied electrotechnology at TAFE.
A friend who visited the family’s Endeavour Hills home said they were overwhelmed by grief. “They are very, very upset and devastated,” the family friend said.
“No one knows what happened. It’s a big shock to their family, and they can’t believe what has happened.
“This family is bright. They are well educated and have good connection to the Afghan families.”
Police visited the home, as did more grieving families who came to offer their support.
There were angry scenes when a member of the Afghan community, on leaving the house, blamed police.
“They should not have shot him — he was 18,” the woman screamed. “If you (the police) can’t protect yourself, how are you going to protect the nation? Did you make mistakes when you were 18?
“If someone makes a mistake, you can’t shoot him.”…

Muslims, always playing the ‘blame game’. I guess, according to muslims, you should just let yourself get killed. Bunch of moronic backwards hypocrites. They think nothing of killing and beheading, but no, don’t kill them, even if they’re a threat to others. Disgusting behavior!!!

Two Questions
1. Where oh where are all the “moderate” moslems who commended the police for protecting themselves, their LIVES, from a would-be assassin and condemn the latter to hell?
2. Where oh where are the rampaging mobs of angry non-moslems out for revenge for the murderous attack on guardians of the law?
mortimer says
Abdul Numan Haider, an 18-year-old who made threats against Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott and waved an ISIS flag at a local mall before he went to a police station…then…
“On arrival at the station, Haider stabbed a state police officer who had tried to shake his hand, before turning on a federal police officer and stabbing him three or four times in the body and head. Haider was then fatally shot by the first officer. Both officers were rushed to hospital for surgery where they are reported to be in serious but stable condition.”
I suggest he was seeking Islamic murderous martyrdom by taking out as many police as possible before getting shot. He wanted to be shot and killed.
What do you think?
Beagle says
Logical. If he took sacralized beheading seriously he probably believed in killing and being killed in Allah’s cause being the sure path to Islamic paradise.
As he did not kill maybe he only gets 36 horny goats for a good try? Not sure what Quran and Hadith say about that.
mortimer says
Looks as if Haider learned violence at home.
Note: Muslims believe that killing the killer of a family member is a RELIGIOUS DUTY (that is…continuing the cycle of violence).
But…revenge violence has nothing to do with Islam.
mortimer says
Terrorism expert Prof. Greg Barton said that Haider was one of 40 to 60 individuals who recently had their Australian passports cancelled over concerns they would join the small but prominent legion of Australians fighting with ISIS in Syria and Iraq, and suggested that this could equally have prompted the stabbing of the two police officers.

the Muslim burial service is a short, stark, uninspiring affair…they have nothing in their religious canon that uplifts or edifies(one of the reasons music is banned – because it shows up the emotional, spiritual and intellectual poverty of their creed),the body is ‘washed’ and quickly chanted over then posted six feet under..everything is done according to modern 7th century practice..

The leftish media at least in the UK, was outraged that Osama wasn’t accorded proper Islamic rights.

Their attitude makes me SO annoyed. Do they need to think of his age before defending themselves while in the middle of being hacked to death? Blaming police for shooting their thug son, even though the same police have been giving them courtesies like closing off the street near the funeral and providing police protection for the funeral attendees. Even when one of them turns up wearing a balaclava. Parents claiming they “don’t know” why he turned radical when they’re all reading the Qur’an.

It’s impossible to reason with these people. They don’t think like us, they don’t see the world in the same shades as black and white as we do. For them it’s perfectly clear that the police officer was wrong when shooting their son in self defense. That’s how they think. In their minds they are always the victim. Always. Doesn’t matter if they’re holding the knife and stabbing someone, doesn’t matter if their a terrorist in gaza shooting rockets at people. You are not allowed to defend yourself from them, because its never their fault.
I don’t hate muslims, but I feel disgust for this victim mentality that they have. I was raised to take responsibility for my own actions, for my own life, and I cannot have respect for these types of values. Where black for them is white, and killing is okay as long as they are the ones doing the killing.

The lady who screamed is correct: Many people do make mistakes at 18. Unfortunately, not all of those mistakes are the kind you can walk away from. this instance if jihad is one of them.
It would be nice if all potential jihadis who actually suffered from stress were directed away from mosque-based “help”. They might then get actual benefit and actual help, instead of being turned into human weapons.
The black UK guy who killed Lee Rigby was one such person – not helped with jhis problem but weaponised. It’s tagic but inevitable with these people.
But that’s not the Islamic way.

So teenagers make mistakes…Well after working for several years in an institution for psychotic children, I can say with certainty that a 14 year old can kill you just as dead as a 40 year old. Around here when you go to the police dept lobby, the officers talk to you from behind bullet proof glass windows.
They understand that people, sometimes teenagers, make mistakes. Police depts have been attacked numbers of times by mistake makers. It used to be that police only wore bullet proof vests if going on a dangerous mission, now because of brazen mistake makers, they wear them daily as part of the uniform.

Radical Islamic Centre Accused of ‘Brainwashing’ Young Australians For Jihad
According to authorities, one Noongar Aborigine from Perth and a radical Bosnia preacher brainwashed the teenager to join extremist activities. Haider, who had earlier been just another regular teenager, transformed into a terrorist apparently after attending lectures of Junaid Thorne and Harun Mehicevic. The preacher gave lectures at the Al-Furqan Islamic Centre. Haider attended Mehicevic’s lecture in Springvale. Thorne confirmed that he had met the teenager multiple times in Melbourne.

Yeah the “mistake” he made was bringing a knife to a gunfight. Did he expect two armed cops to sit idly by while he attacked them? Plus other armed cops would have come out of the station, I’m surprised he got in as many knife slashes he did before he was shot. Not much of a plan really when you think about it, it was always going to be a suicide mission, stupid Muslim. By the way, I’m 99% certain the Afghani rock thrower in the photo is holding a take away coffee in his other hand, not a beer, that’s how our take away coffees look in Australia, plus you can see the straw in the middle of it. If it was a beer he might have been the one being stoned from other pious Muslims there for drinking beer! Reminds me of the Monty Python Jehovah stoning skit.

I bet it is replete with instances of the family needing protection and with assurances of intended model citizenship.
I expect the UNHCR would have chimed in about their model behaviour in their camp and that it is their support for the West as cooks, cleaners or interpreters that place them in danger if they stay in Afghanistan.
What about a statement from the family:
‘We apologise to the people of Australia, that despite your kindness, hospitality, health care and education our son chose to turn against you. Our family is eternally grateful for your decision, all those years ago to welcome us and you have every right to deport us back to whence we came’.

What *utter crap*. This Jihadist didn’t “lose his life”—he was shot after having stabbed a federal agent and a police officer—after one of them tried to shake his hand.
And this was after he had his passport canceled for trying to join ISIS to wage violent JIhad.

Police did not retaliate as one Muslim lady said but rather they defended themselves.
I hope others who are thinking of taking violent measures in the name of Islam take a deep breath and realise they are in the lucky country and don’t get shot also.
Thoughts are with the family at their time of loss.
Hope the police involved make a good recovery and thank you.

Time for Muslims to rethink, reevaluate the “religion of peace” they are taught to glorify and embrace from young. Time for the Qur’ran, the Hadiths to be scrutinised under the microscope. The person who is laughing behind the scenes amidst the terror, misery, confusion, death, destruction and social unrest is Allah (satan). Sorry the “angel Gabriel” who revealed to the prophet Muhammad was not G…d but satan himself.
