Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

China: Two dead, many injured in explosions in central Xinjiang

Sep 22, 2014 10:07 am By Robert Spencer

Xinjiang“Xinjiang has experienced rising unrest in recent months blamed on militants from the region’s native Muslim Turkic Uighur ethnic group seeking to overthrow Chinese rule.” In other words, there’s a jihad there.

“China says 2 killed, many injured in explosions,” Associated Press, September 22, 2014 (thanks to John):

BEIJING (AP) — Multiple explosions in a county in China’s western region of Xinjiang have killed at least two people and injured many others, regional authorities said Monday.

The explosions happened at about 5 p.m. Sunday in at least three places of Luntai county, according to a report on the Tianshan news portal, which is run by the regional branch of the Communist Party. Luntai county is in central Xinjiang, 360 kilometers (220 miles) southwest of the capital, Urumqi.

“Public security officers quickly handled the situation,” it said, without giving details.

The brief statement said the unspecified number of injured had been taken to hospital and an investigation was under way.

Xinjiang has experienced rising unrest in recent months blamed on militants from the region’s native Muslim Turkic Uighur ethnic group seeking to overthrow Chinese rule.

Authorities said that on July 28 a terrorist gang attacked a police station and government buildings in Shache county near Kashgar, killing 37 people before police shot dead 59 of the attackers.

Two days later, a leading pro-government Muslim cleric was murdered in a Kashgar mosque.

State media reported Sunday that Communist Party officials in Xinjiang had punished 17 officials and police officers for their failures relating to the two July incidents. He Limin, the party chief of Shache county, was stripped of his party position and demoted, and the deputy party chief and county police chief were both fired.

It’s the country’s leaders who are diverting people’s attention and telling them to look the other way. Nothing to see here, Islam is peace, jihad is for improving one’s self, and on and on. All lies of course since they can’t stand the truth about Islam, Muslims and jihad!!

In the free West with more information available than ever before in history, the people have no excuse. Blaming it on our leaders and our “elites” is shifting responsibility.

How restive of them. I suspect marginalization, alienation, and a lack of economic opportunity.

There is not PC in the PRC when knives, guns and rioting are in the mix. When that happens, the PRC government only sees red and crushes all trouble makers (whoever its security forces can get their hands on) before it, one way or another.

If the Chinese government were “not PC” they would have rounded up Muslims and deported them. Evidently, influential people high up in the Chiniese government think more or less like the Jihad Watch Softies on this (mortimer, Jay Boo, miriam, Angemon, Phillip Jihadski, gravenimage, Mirren, PRCS…. let’s see who did I leave out…?).

Really? Where would the chinese government “deport” a native chinese convert to islam who can trace his lineage back to the Xia dynasty era?

Perhaps your time would be better spent improving your vocabulary rather than attempting to deride counter jihadis (who, unlike you, spent most of their time actually countering jihadis and islamic apologists) or inventing ways of shoehorning “asymptotic tendency” every few posts.

Which, like the islamic state, has nothing to do with islam. Isn’t that right mr. Cameron, Mr. Blair and Mr. Obama?

China is like Saudi Arabia and Russia in that they only oppose certain Muslim groups when they threaten their hegemony, otherwise they kiss their butts. The Chinese navy has been involved recently in joint military maneuvers with Iran. Let’s not forget that countries like China and Russia are solely concerned with their own power and have no moral scruples.

Go easy on Mazo. He’s a Hui, and patriotic towards China, not sympathetic with his Uyghur co-religionists. I’m also not sure that he understands that American patriots don’t always accept what their own government does.

Mazo, just to let you know there’re no hard feelings, if we’re ever in the same town, I’ll share a plate of beef jiaozi with you.

I guess it’s only a matter of time before South America is afflicted with the muslim menace. The headline indicates that these savages are in all corners of our precious planet.
We shouldn’t be only against groups like IS, boko haram and al shebab but also those middle eastern regimes at source.
