Here is a news report about the statement I posted in full here. The IBT doesn’t quote most of the Islamic justifications for these actions that the statement includes, and doesn’t mention the copious Qur’an quotes that are in the statement. It would seem that these things are pertinent, given the rush of Western non-Muslim leaders to assure us that the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam. Is it not newsworthy that the Islamic State that has nothing to do with Islam bases its appeal to Muslims to kill non-Muslims entirely upon the texts and teachings of Islam?
“Isis Spokesman: ‘Supporters Should Kill Europeans, Americans and Canadians in Any Way Possible,'” by Jack Moore, International Business Times, September 22, 2014 (thanks to Twostellas):
An Isis spokesman has published a call to arms for Muslims around the world to kill American, Canadian and European citizens for their governments’ role in a coalition against the radical Islamist group in Iraq and Syria.
Following Australia’s largest terror raids and France’s first air strikes on the group, Isis (also known as Islamic State) spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani ash-Shami called on supporters to launch insider attacks on western populations, particularly “the spiteful and filthy French”.
“If you can kill a disbelieving American or European – especially the spiteful and filthy French – or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever […] including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be,” he said in a 42-minute speech released on social media.
“Do not consult with anyone and do not seek anyone’s advice. Whether they are civilian or military, the same ruling applies.
“Kill the disbeliever whether he is civilian or military, for they have the same ruling. Both of them are disbelievers. Both of them are considered to be waging war. Both of their blood and wealth is legal for you to destroy.”
Adnani called the coalition against the terror group a “crusade” and warned Western civilians will not be safe, even in their own homes.
“You will not feel secure even in your bedrooms,” he said. “You will pay the price when this crusade of yours collapses and thereafter, we will strike you in your homeland and you will never be able to harm anyone afterwards.”
He went on to pick out US Secretary of State John Kerry for criticism, calling him an “uncircumcised old geezer” following his criticism of the group and their perceived distortion of the Islamic faith.
France is the first country to join the US in conducting air strikes against the group in Iraq, targeting an IS logistics depot last week. US President Barack Obama spoke about the close relationship between the US and France in light of its cooperation against radical Islamic terrorism.
“As one of our oldest and closest allies, France is a strong partner in our efforts against terrorism and we are pleased that French and American service members will once again work together on behalf of our shared security and our shared values,” Obama said last week.
France has also been carrying out reconnaissance flights over Iraq this week and has started arming the Kurdish Peshmerga forces fighting against the group in northern Iraq.

Too bad the American people in their “infinite wisdom” elected and then re-elected a dangerous Muslim-born Islamophile named Barack Hussein Obama; in 2008 (only seven years after devout Muslims brutally attacked the U.S. mainland) no doubt because Americans were convinced Islam is a religion whose teachings are peaceful and good.

Most all people who vote in federal elections are stuck in stupid anyway. I refuse to participate in a corrupt (controlled elections) voting system now for several decades. Stuck in stupid people attend these 501c3 churches, gov IRS controlled and are fed propaganda and phony sermons dumbing down the parishioners by gelded ministers. Main reason the masses are dumbed down also incl gov public education and the fact most parents don’t teach their offspring anything except how to use a smart phone or is it a dumb phone which I have no use for myself. This country is trashed down the abyss with a zero future as few patriots left now to matter. Live for self/family and prep. for the worse.

I have some sympathy for your jaundiced view of the masses. Does that mean you will sit out this coming election, November 2014? If you were a German citizen in the early nineteen thirties would you have sat out the elections that helped bring the Nazi party to power in Germany?

Mr. Obama did not tell the Muslim world the following in Cairo, June 2009:
“….my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims…So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed…..And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear. (Applause.)
So let there be no doubt: Islam is a part of America….The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. (Applause.) …. Now, much has been made of the fact that an African American with the name Barack Hussein Obama could be elected President. (Applause.)

I don’t relish using Clintonesque rhetoric — or maybe it’s more like a Yogi Bera-ism — but in a strange but perhaps very accurate way, Obama doesn’t have to be Muslim to be Muslim.

Hello wildjew —
Your post below at 2:10 pm quotes remarks by BHO proving in HIS OWN WORDS that he is about as close to an actual Muslim as a person can be.

THE VIDEO SHOWS WHY THERE HAS NOT BEEN A COUNTER FORCE TO CRUSH ISIS — Obama cannot overcome his early childhood positive memories about Islam.

Bad Muslims is a matter of perspective. My guess is many Muslims worldwide consider Islamic State Muslims good Muslims, not bad Muslims.
Angemon says
wildjew says
I don’t have time to watch this just now. I’ve got to do some work. What is the point in this video you want me to internalize?
Angemon says
It’s a debate on whether or not the only good muslim (meaning a good human being) is a bad muslim (a muslim who either doesn’t follow or outright rejects islamic tenets) and if muslim devotion and piety should be encouraged or not (because of the PC MC idea that islamic terrorism has nothing to do with islam and if only islamic terrorists would return to the fundamentals of islam then they’d see the error of their ways and stop being terrorists).
The transcription of that debate found its way into one of Robert’s book, either Not Peace But a Sword or Religion of Peace, can’t remember which one.
wildjew says
We used to have this guy on the radio, Ken Hamblin (the Black Avenger) who began his program in the weeks and months after the 9/11/2001 attacks with, “What is a good Muslim?”
wildjew says
You wrote: “It’s a debate on whether or not the only good muslim (meaning a good human being) is a bad muslim….”
I agree with that notion. In the eyes of authoritative Islam as I see it, what we consider human decency, righteousness, goodness, etc., have nothing to do with justice in Islam; only belief. Only those who believe Allah is god and Muhammad is his prophet are good Muslims, good people. That to me is what makes Allah such a monster.
Angemon says
It’s not just accepting muhammad as a prophet, a muslim is not a true believer unless he accepts muhammad’s judgment in everything, as stated in, for example, quran 4:65:
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
wildjew says
I don’t know if I am going to be able to listen to this who thing right now. I have some work to do. Peter Kreeft just read the Vatican catechism about Islam:
841 The Church’s relationship with the Muslims. “The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind’s judge on the last day.”[330]
UGH!
Then Kreeft goes on to state that he thinks “Bob would agree with that” statement because he is a fellow Catholic. To me this is nonsense. If a rabbi read something I disagreed with from the Talmud (or the Hebrew Bible / Tanakh) and then said, “I think Steve would agree with it because he is a fellow Jew,” I would say I do NOT agree with it because it is not true.
wildjew says
My Bible is the Bible itself, I am talking about the Hebrew Bible, the ‘Old Testament’, the Tanakh; especially the first five books of Moses – Torah. Are there difficult passages? Yes.
But I’ve got a problem with people who say we must conform to the declarations of a rabbi, priest, what have you. I can respect scholars on Christianity like Professor Kreeft. I can respect learned rabbis and priests. It does not mean I must agree with their declarations or I am a heretic or an apostate as Professor Kreeft seems to be implying here should Mr. Spencer not conform to this declaration on Islam which I believe is clear false.
wildjew says
Professor Kreeft just said “there is not just one Islam.”
There is one Islam; the Islam of the prophet. How many other Islams are there other than the one Muhammad lived by?
wildjew says
“It’s not just accepting muhammad as a prophet, a muslim is not a true believer unless he accepts muhammad’s judgment in everything, as stated in, for example, quran 4:65…”
Right. I thought about that after I posted it. I think I wrote elsewhere, devout Muslims live strict lives according to the example of the prophet, which is why I believe Islamic State Muslims are good Muslims.
voegelinian says
You wrote: “It’s a debate on whether or not the only good muslim (meaning a good human being) is a bad muslim….”
I agree with that notion.
The problem with that notion is that the “bad Muslim” who is a “good human” can’t be recognized as such with adequate reliability in macro contexts, where identifying potential terrorists most of the time will not enjoy the luxury of all the time in the world necessary for determining whether a given Muslim is that, or is deceiving us. But who cares — as General Casey reminds us, protecting “diversity” (and our own ethical narcissism) is more important than saving the lives of our men, women and children…
Angemon says

That goes for any race, religion, ethnicity, or whatever other demographic you arbitrarily want to use as being a meaningful division – you simply can’t tell harmless people from dangerous people with a simple glance.
Angemon says
Also, how much reliability do you consider as “adequate”, and how much time does it take, in average, to make the distinction?
mortimer says
‘Bad’ Muslims are non-jihadist Muslims.
‘Good’ Muslims are obedient to the Caliph and go forth to conduct jihad when called!
wildjew says
Spencer wrote in one of his earlier books, “bad” (non-jihadist) Muslims who simply want to get on with their lives “can be called to the full practice of their faith” as has happened in days gone by. I think there is much to commend this point of view.
I have reason to believe, were circumstances more conducive for violence against Jews and other non-believers (they might be one day) my Palestinian and other Muslim ‘neighbors’ might be called to the full practice of their faith.
Shane says
We cannot defeat an enemy when our gutless, dhimmi leaders are afraid to say that they are devout Muslims engaged in a jihad against the West and that Islam is a Religion of War created by the Warlord and Womanizer Muhammad.
Rebecca says
So what is the West to do?
How DO we defeat them?
It seems to me that arming other Islamic groups to fight against ISIS is an extremely BAD idea. Even if ISIS is worse- those groups that were arming are not ppl we want running around in power either!
So how do we defeat them?
Much like Hamas did in Gaza, ISIS strategy is to hide among the population- making them hard to defeat.
Anyone have any good ideas?
wildjew says
American boots on the ground. It’s the only sure way. But we have a Muslim-born president with deep sympathies for the world of Islam and truth be known for the global jihad against the West. This is what foolish Americans elected.
jihad3tracker says
Agreed — American and as many other countries’ BOTG as is possible. Someone in the recent weeks of talk by Obama’s administration accidentally used an appropriate word for ISIS : cancer.
That is exactly how to think of the danger it poses — metatastasizing — spreading 360 degrees outward. The Europeans finally seem to understand, and even countries in the broad Mid-East.
Instability, slaughter, chaos : those 3 consequences of ISIS success threaten Muslim entities too — at least those which DO NOT intend to be sucked down the black hole of failure.
Even a non-genius currently in power can understand that resistance to the maximum extent possible is going to be necessary.
I believe we will see wider participation by nations whose help would have been virtually inconceivable previously — but each day of holding back, of course, matters. Hesitation benefits only ISIS.
mortimer says
Thoughtfully, reasonably, sensibly. Supply must be choked. Exit prevented. Tighten the noose. Encircle. Contain. Lengthy war of attrition as democracies are strengthened. No quick fix. Political Islam must be opposed by our politicians realizing that Islamism is real Islam.
wildjew says
Islam itself is political, is it not?
paddy says
That depends on how you define ‘political’. For those of us living in the free world of universal suffrage (one adult, one vote), means total and unequivocal inclusion. islam historically and to this day rejects the equality of non-believers.
Jeez…. why do I bother? Maybe I just need to avoid this website for a day or two and catch up with brilliant minds like Chris Hitchens and Sam Harris.

We can start by learning where they live, where the Islamist schools are, where they work. Make those locations public knowledge. Post the addresses and their Google map locations and street views. If attacks and explosions start happening here, start popping a few as they walk on the street, whack a bunch of their spawn as they go to and from school. AR-15’s should work fairly well. Just as good as AK’s. Extreme violence is the only language they understand.
AnneM says
Folks, this is the REAL face of Islam. No denying now!
mortimer says
Islamism (political Islam) is real Islam.
Islamism is totalitarian.
wildjew says
Do you disagree with Turkey’s PM Erdogan (paraphrasing): ‘there is no moderate or immoderate Islam (these distinctions are offensive and ugly)….Islam is Islam and that’s it….?
Dave J says
Unfortunately patience, deception and barbarism will defeat political correctness, even if nuclear armed. Whack-a-mole air strikes won’t prevent the spread of this pestilence.
Most of the West does not (refuses to) understand that Islam is an intolerant supremacist political ideology, not a genuine religion. The religious trappings are just cover for their criminal activities and slavish repression of women.

For eight years, we heard that President Bush was a liar. But when he told the whopper of them all, that “Islam means peace” or whatever drivel he spoke, the left was silent.
Do the lefties think they will be safe from Islam? Are they that stupid?
UneasyOne says
“Do the lefties think they will be safe from Islam? Are they that stupid?”
Bush got little challenge from the right, either.
With his “Arab Spring” he destabilized the middle east, pushing democracy at people who believe only in sharia and submission to allah. With his “sunni awakening” he united, trained, financed and armed what is now IS. Obama hasn’t been a lot better, mindlessly parroting Bush’s “religion of peace,” crap. But at least he’s hitting IS. (But not nearly hard enough.) He hasn’t been holding hands with and kissing Saudi royalty to my knowledge, bu neither he – NOR ANY OTHER OTHER MAJOR POLITICAL FIGURE OF THE RIGHT OR LEFT – will publicly acknowledge that islam is our eternal enemy that will never be pacified. It can only be eliminated.
Lefties mostly believe that Mo was just the Arab Jesus and the peculiarities of the religion, plus a little violence should be overlooked in the name of tolerance.
That has to change, but we need leadership from the right AND the left. Obama freed the Libyans from their evil dictator. Now, half of Africa, all of northern Africa and the middle east is on the verge of wildfire.
And the root cause is our dependance on their oil. Without that, they will sink back into barbarism.

UneasyOne says
You are conflating causes and effects. The arab spring began with Bush’s invasion of Iraq, combined with his relentless promotion of democracy for the area – which turns out to be a really lousy idea in a muslim majority country.
