Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic supremacists enraged: Michigan Governor affirms Israel’s right to exist at Hamas-linked ISNA convention

Sep 1, 2014 1:17 am By Robert Spencer

US Islamic Society ConferenceIslamic supremacist academic propagandist Hatem “Hate ’em” Bazian, a professor of “Islamophobia” at (where else?) the University of California Berkeley, has equated the Boston jihad bombings with “Islamophobia” and, several years ago, called for an “intifada” in the U.S. Tonight he is enraged that Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has dared to affirm Israel’s right to exist at the convention of the Hamas-linked Muslim Brotherhood group the Islamic Society of North America. He posted this on Facebook. Be sure to call Snyder and tell him, “Bravo!”:

Call Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and express that Palestinians have the right to exist, be free on their land and an immediate end to Israeli Occupation. You lost the Muslim-Arab vote in Michigan!

(517) 373-3400

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder spoke at the opening session of ISNA’s 51st Annual Convention on Friday held in Detroit and made it a point to declare that Israel has the right to exist without making any references to the Palestinians. The statement was completely out of context and seems intended to make a point to his audience as if to each them a lesson considering the recent situation in Gaza.

Being in America, one understands the political leadership taking its marching orders from AIPAC and repeating the same exact words every opportunity they have as if it is part of the US constitution. While the Governor is welcome to his point of view but to come to a Muslim convention and attempt to score points by pushing AIPAC’s agenda is insulting and demonstrate a lack of basic political respect to the community.

What is more glaring is that no one on the stage jumped to make any comments after him to indicate that the implied insult conveyed by the Governor in this speech is not acceptable to the Muslim community and for it to be expressed at this time considering the slaughter campaign unleashed by Israel on Gaza….

Those so-called “Palestinians”, who are descendants of Jordanians do have a right to exist, but they do not have the right to interfere with Israel’s right to exist. Israel is surrounded by hateful Arabs that want only to wipe Israel off the map and wipe all Jews off the planet. Sick…

      Hello, No Fear —

Pardon my jumping into your opening remarks here, but commenter Vickie — way below in the stack — put up a link to Governor Snyder’s site WHICH HAS AN EXCELLENT POTENTIAL for communication about several issue related to the current danger from Islam.

I chose immigration & jihadists returning to the United States. Readers here at JW will find other issues perhaps more to their liking. If my capture of the hotlink works, this is it : https://somgovweb.state.mi.us/GovRelations/ShareOpinion.aspx

Please do not let this chance to let him, along with congresspersons and senators OF BOTH PARTIES WHO FINALLY “GET IT”, hear from you. Ask the governor to distribute what you send…. Time is very short, as we know.

Well it is not like the “Palestinians” have invaded anyone else’s lands is it.
After all it is not as if any Palestinians live outside of Gaza like in western countries.
It is time to end the occupation by giving Saudi Arabia to the Palestinians.
Although the buildings in Gaza may be Islamic the foundations are not.
If they believe that the people of Israel should leave then they should begin by having every Muslim immigrant Leave which ever non Muslim country they sort refuge in.

Sorry Cliffface, but I’m confused as to what your point was.

“It is time to end the occupation by giving Saudi Arabia to the Palestinians.”

Let me correct your egregious statement, Progressives will have you think and repeatedly use this LIE. There is NO occupation within Gaza. Barricades & a blockade yes-but NO OCCUPATION of Gaza by Israel.

“After all it is not as if any Palestinians live outside of Gaza like in western countries.”

Again, allow me to correct you, there ARE Palestinians living in western countries, as a matter of fact they live in EVERY one.

      • Paul says

        Sep 1, 2014 at 2:10 pm

I am confused as well, as to what message you were trying to make…in a recent news release, several weeks now I think, there was mention of the plight of the Syrians who were having to exit Syria to get away from the fighting….the article made mention of 80,000 to 100,000 ‘Palestinian refugees’, living in Syria, who were also having to uproot thier families and leave because of the fighting. Does that now make them double-refugees?! Aren’t they supposed to be living in the filth and squalor of Gaza?!

    • cliffface says

      Sep 1, 2014 at 7:54 pm

wetwork56 & Paul my comments were tongue in cheek.
I sort to point out that prior to Islam there were no muslims in Gaza but there may well have been others forced off their land or forced to convert so from a historical point the palastinians them selves may be occupying someone else’s land Just like the rest of us.
And yes there are many Palestinians that found refuge in other countries east and west and that is why of all people they should understand why Jews need a place to call home.
Their cult began in Saudi Arabia did it not.
Really if you want fact read the story not the comments.

Excellent news. No doubt Bazian and his buddies were surprised. They thought they had scored a coup by having the Governor attend their event, but they didn’t expect him to stray from their script and say exactly what they didn’t want to hear. So now some comments on Bazian’s FB page are informing Gov. Snyder that he’s lost the Muslim vote. Boo hoo. That’s in fact good news: he won’t owe them anything, and given the bile that they’re now throwing at him, chances are that he won’t remember these constituents of his with the most tender feelings. It’s not just the Palestinians who have an innate talent for shooting themselves in the foot.

Jews were forced out by greeks; Romans and others. AND WHERE RE THOSE ” GREAT CIVILIZATIONS” NOW?

Macedonia? Roman Empire (Italy is a joke, in my view, as a world power); the French Empire of Charlemagne? The British Empire 9exists more or less on paper as the Commonwelath, last I took the trouble to look, years and years ago–also a has been).

Israelis devloped the Pentium chip-driving most computers; much of the technology for cell phones (begining technology, anyhow); and miracle drugs.

… a professor of “Islamophobia” at (where else?) the University of California Berkeley, has equated the Boston jihad bombings with “Islamophobia” and, several years ago, called for an “intifada” in the U.S.

Here’s an idea: have the professor explain the contents of the Holy Ko-Ran and the Hah-Deaths. Force him to explain away all the reasons why right-thinking Americans should not fear Islam. However, it is unlikely that his new boss, Janet Napolitano, will pursue exacting academic standards when it comes to Moslems, she didn’t when she ran DHS. Her prediction was that the greatest threat was posed by disaffected war vets of Iraq and Afghanistan.

    • Oliver says

      Sep 1, 2014 at 2:34 pm

In a way, Janet Napolitano was correct.

One of the first people arrested after she took office and made the comments (IE. rerturning war vets; pro gun people; anti abortionists; etc) arrested was a returning (I think navy, not sure) vet.

OMITTED IN MOST ARTICLES–HE WAS A MUSLIM (don’t recall if a convert or born that way) and served in the US military.

So, it was a returnign combata rea vet who wanted to do a terrorist act or two.

She and her flunkies jsut left off the one important point.

But had it been a Jew or Christian, the lame stream media would have been blasting it.

How dare this blaspheming Kafir Governor declare that ANY Kafir has any right at all, except whatever temporary privilege might happen to be granted by merciful Muslims.

Allah gives Muslims the right to slaughter ANY Kafir, and destroy ANY Kafir state, since every Kafir and every Kafir state represents an obstacle to the establishment of Islam as the only religion, from where the sun rises, to where the sun goes down in the murky water.

    • Alarmed Pig Farmer says

      Sep 1, 2014 at 9:29 am

The water had to be murky, didn’t it? But your plan, dubbed the Cause in the Holy Ko-Ran, is not workable. As the Moslems take over Europe, North America and Down Under, there won’t be anybody left to do the hard stuff required by a modern economy. In this way, there is a natural affinity between Moslems and Environmentalists: both have a dream that entails subsistence farming political economy. Both rely on bad facts, made up fictive facts but those are the facts. And Moslems and Enviros alike detest freedom; both envisage a world gubmint, albeit of different kinds with different goals.

And I thank you for that. I notice you’ve joined the deft lingual movement from global warming to climate change. As we enter our 18th straight year of global cooling, you’ll need the limitless potential of change, cuz the weather’s always been changing. At four tenths of one percent of all greenhouse gases, CO2, upon which life relies to exist, has been declared a poison by the EPA.

But where’s the EPA for bad humanity? Where’s that, it sure as hell ain’t at the DHS. The capacity for grown ups to buy into the bare naked con of “climate change” and all its fraudulent science proves the potential for the masses to believe anything. Accept anything.

Thus the spectre of climate change but barely an awareness of Moslem change, most believing in the Unicorns better called moderate Moslems, or cultural Moslems, or whatever.

Charles Martel gets it wrong again.
The BIGGEST problem in the World is Islam and the refusal of the lefties, media, some politicians, etc., to see this.
Is climate change a problem? Let’s see after the (not man-made) Ice-Age, there was a general thaw – i.e. temperatures rose. Was it “Man-made”? Sorry, “People-made”? There were no cars, trains, aircraft, tandems at the end of the Ice-Age, so HOW did it get warmer? Probably, an affect of the Sun. The earth was probably hit by a meteor, its orbit changed: Ice-Age. Hit by another meteor, orbit changed BACK, end of Ice-Age. I have no science to back-up my theory, but I do know the bit about cars, trains, etc. The Science on THAT is SETTLED.

When i was in college, THE THREAT WAS ANOTHER ICE AGE. The world was cooling too much.

A “leading professor” of something or toehr, at some “leading university” (don’t recall either) proposed that the US; THE USSR ( beofre Gorby and Reagan and Lady Thatcher) get together and drop tons of coal and coal ashes on the ice fields of the Arctic and Antarctic to bring in sunlight and melt the ice, in hopes of warming the planet. (Science is not, and never was my strong point, so i underatnd that black absorbs heat, white reflects it; but not the theory).

But the temperatures have changed minutely since. Some times warmer, sometimes not.

Alarmed, I AGREE WITH YOU–regarding the enviremental terrorists.

these are People (?) who put spikes in trees marked for cutting ( which damages the tree, possibly killing it)-so if a lumberjack-with his ax or chainsaw or whatever hits this spike-it can fly out and injure or kill him.

Some of the protestors (Gore is a prime example of the hypocrisy) live in huge homes; fly (in) private jets (what-fly commercial with real people? aare you craxy?); etc. and talk that people have too big a carbon footprint. (But, without Carbon Dioxide, life -as we know it-would not survive); (also, some years ago, a firm in Kentucky controlled by Gore and his family was labeled the states biggest polluter).

Many of these envirementalists–and I include groups like PETA and the Animal Liberationists–would like to go back to living like people did 100 or more years ago. Terrible to use mice, rats, rabbits etc on medical experiments. Would they volunteer? Yet, using them, ( the two of the leading countries for drug innovations–the US & Israel –side note) use them and often were getting picketed.

These people have to get real.

        ——————————————————————————-

Spotted Owl fiasco-another envirementalist nightmare. the spotted owl population has declined–EVEN WITH THE THOUSANDS OF ACRES OF TREES/FORESTS NOT ALLOWED TO BE HARVESTED. The numerous towns, villages and small cities decimated and thousands of families that lost their livelyhood, all immaterial. MUST PROTEECT THE SPOTETD OWL.

Well, the female spotted owls have been mating with some other species of owls, and the resulting offspring have the characteristics of the other species.

        ——————————————————————————————–

Imperial valley of Cal.-formerly one of the garden spots of the US; now possibly truning into a dust bowl, because the envirementalists are not allowing enough water to be used to irrigate the farm land, BECAUSE OF SOME SPECIES OF SOMETHING THAT IS NOT NATIVE TO CAL.

        ————————————————————————————-

        The lsit cna go on.

these people are usually (somewhat) educated and have more miney then they need, too much time on their hands , and not enough REAL problems, like ordinary people. And, they lack common sense.

        My views.

why is it a question in the first place?

”Thank you Governor for affirming my right to exist. I, as a Israeli, am affirming your right to exist as well.
      /sarc
      ”

Your sarcasm is uncalled for, indeed unfair. It’s strange that you don’t see the Governor’s affirmation has been brought about by the unique situation of Israel, a country beleaguered, condemned and attacked by multitude of “respectful” official international bodies that profess to speak for justice, fairness, human and historical rights etc…but in truth wish Israel’s demise.

Had the Governor affirmed Turkey’s, for example, right to exist and you were a Turk your sarcasm could be justified.

”(Thanks you so much humanity for putting our right of existence to discussion every f****ing genertation!!!)”

Your (Israel’s) right to exist is directly questioned, not just “put to discussion”, by not so few leftist Israeli and not-Israeli Jews. The difference between the “humanity” and these Jews is that the majority of the former consistently affirms, while latter denies, Israel’s right to exist. If Israel should cease to exist it will be theirs, not “humanity’s”, accomplishment.
So perhaps you should reconsider to whom you want to direct your sarcasm.

        Here’s the thing:

You interpret “the right of Israel to exist” as if it was merely a political subject, like if Jews could exist without Israel.

        For me, it’s not.
Questioning Israel’s right of existence is like asking whether I should be slaughtered due to my religion or not. (And I’m an Atheist, mind you).

So I appreciate the governor for supporting Israel, but it still angers me when my right of existence is put into question time and again every other conflict.

for it to be expressed at this time considering the slaughter campaign unleashed by Israel on Gaza….

    last line of the article-above.

But, for the CAIR; MB and asosrted shit Muslims–IT IS OKAY TO KILL A SLEEPING INFANT IN HIS CRIB BY CUTTING HIS THROAT? It is OKAY to launch rocket after ricket at a CIVILIAN CITY (Sedot-possibly speleld wrong); it is OKAY to use women and children as human shields–your own Muslim women and children, then complain when they are killed? But it is OKAY to target women, children, the elderly o toehrs?

Muslims, you are shit, actually less then that. Shit has some useful purposes (fertizlizer, etc); you have none.

    My viesw.

by the way-jsut before the comment I printed- it says nobody got up to challenge the Gov. Does that mean that they think he MIGHT have a valid point? Or, that they were shocked and too stupid/dumb/illiterate (choose one or more) to make a statement
    Just asking.

sorry for any spelling or typo errors.

Greetings! I went to the website that Vickie suggested – and wrote Governor Snyder a note of appreciation. I also called the listed phone number and left a message.

If you contact Governor Snyder you may wish to urge him to take a vote on House bill 4769. This is an anti-sharia bill that has been stalled for several years now. Some of us have been trying to get this voted on — and hopefully passed. (As you can imagine there is a lot of push-back from the Muslim community, CAIR, etc. )

As a matter of fact, Israel does have the right to exist. On grounds of historic, moral and on merit. Israel has demonstrated a better way of life to all her neighbors, like it or not. The Fakestinians, the invented people have a right to exist but have forfeited their right to govern anything anywhere over anybody.

You are absolutely correct, but I would suggest we stop and think for a minute about the whole “right to exist” concept. Since when has anyone depended on anyone’s permission to merely exist? Every person on the planet exists without having had to request approval from anyone else. I don’t need anyone’s permission to exist, and you don’t need anyone’s permission to exist. We all exist, period. The same principle applies to States. They exist, period (after meeting a few requirements listed in the Montevideo Convention, which “Palestine” hasn’t). It is telling that out of the 198 States currently existing in the world, the only one who seemingly needs to have to beg that its right to exist be recognized by its foes is Israel! How absurd. And it needs that right to be granted by savages whose productivity is exclusively directed towards death and destruction? I don’t think so. There is no “right to exist”. Israel exists, like everyone else. Period.

See my comments above–but I will repeat and expand a bit.
FIRST: give up your computer–it uses a PENTIUM CHIP.. made by ISRAELIS, IN ISRAEL (for Intel).

NEXT: Give up your cell phone–mcuh of the roiginal technology was INVENTED IN ISRAEL, BY ISRAELIS, FOR MOTORLA.

NEXT: If you or members of yoru family get MS.,MD OR PARKINSONS, be careful what drugs you take.. MOST OF THE LEADIGN NEW DRUGS FOR THESE AND OTHER DISEASES WERE- DEVELOPED IN ISRAEL, BY ISRAELIS.

Since ( besides, IN MY OPINION, sounding like an asshole) you are probably Anti_jew also, give up the following:

Polio vaccines (Pakistan is doing it-killing medical people who want to give it to their people) BOTH DR. SALK AND DR. SABIN, the developers of the Salk vccine and Sabin Vaccine-although the Sabin is oral, not a needle) ARE JEWS.

The Wasserman (test) for std’s–Dr. Wasserman was jewish.

There are numerous other medical and scientific discoveries amde by jews.

For music: DO NOT LSITEN TO ANYTHING BY RICHARD ROGERS; IRVING BERLIN; OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN (who did much of his work with Richard Rogers); danny kaye (also in acting); Joel grey; Stepjanie Grey (his daughter, an actress-Dirty dancing); Mel Brooks (actor/writer/commedian); all jews.

      more could be added.

      —————————————————————————–

      And the Muslims:

homicide vests; roadside bombs; and someone responed to another post of mine (on a different topic) here at JW- that in one of the Muslim books, -the urine from a female menstrating camel is suppsoed to be good (I think as a medicine ro something-whatever-sounds weird).

      go live in a cave.

      Just my views.

I just wrote to Governor Snyder through the State of Michigan web page, thanking him for his vocal support of the State of Israel. He should know that American citizens support him, and have his back 100%.

As a Berkeley graduate, I actually found it more effectual to just send Prof. Bazian an e-mail challenging his statement implying that Israel doesn’t have the right to exist.

OK, I want to make sure I understand this correctly. Mr. Hate-’em is enraged because the governor of Michigan asserted Israel’s right to exist. The only possible conclusion is that Mr. Hate-’em opposes Israel’s right to exist. That’s not news to any informed people, of course, but it’s nice to have him confirm it so directly.
