“Officers who searched the grounded suspects found images of beheadings…” For like so many other jihadis, they love death.
“Melbourne Airport terror swoops,” by Ellen Whinnett, James Dowling and Jon Kaila, Herald Sun, October 6, 2014 (thanks to Kenneth):
In an incident at Melbourne Airport on August 27, five people were offloaded from a flight and searched.
COUNTER-terrorism officers intercepted 11 suspected terrorists at Melbourne and Sydney airports in less than a month in a multi-agency security crackdown.
Officers who searched the grounded suspects found images of beheadings and other violent Islamist propaganda on electronic devices and seized tens of thousands of dollars in undeclared cash allegedly being smuggled out of the country.A twelfth man, 19-year-old Ahmad Saiyer Naizmand, of NSW, allegedly flew out of Sydney on his brother’s passport before Australian officers raised the alarm and had United Arab Emirates authorities deport him back.
The revelations came as Australia’s Super Hornet fighter jets were last night in the skies above Iraq waiting for the final go-ahead to launch air strikes against Islamic State, and 200 special forces personnel were also poised to join the Iraqi security forces in a training and advisory role.
The Herald Sun can reveal:
ONE suspect’s luggage was deemed “inconsistent with his stated planned travel movements’’, and he missed his flight after he was searched.
SIX people were caught with violent or objectionable material. Of them, two were issued with infringement notices and three had their electronic devices seized.
ONE man was refused entry to Australia after arriving on a flight to Melbourne from Malaysia and found to have “visa inconsistencies’’.
THREE of the suspects copped infringement notices.
OTHERS were caught committing visa and passport fraud.
Customs and Border Protection said the Australian Government had changed the instruction to its officers from “facilitation as a priority to security as a priority’’.
“That means that on occasion, flights will be held, people and baggage will have to be unloaded … but this is important for our national security,’’ a spokesman said.
The terror suspects were intercepted by Customs and Border Protection, the AFP or the new Counter-Terrorism Units.
The CTU came into force in late August less than nine months after Sydney man Khaled Sharrouf escaped Sydney Airport in December on his brother’s passport to fight for Islamic State in Syria.
Sharrouf caused international outrage by making his seven-year-old Australian-raised son, with him in Syria, pose for photographs holding a severed head.
In addition to the 11 main intercepted suspects, a further six people were stopped and searched by authorities, missing their flights, between August 9 and September 1 at Australia’s largest two airports.
A currency detector dog sniffed out one man trying to leave Melbourne Airport on August 31 without declaring he was carrying more than $10,000. He was also found to be in possession of extremist propaganda images.
In one incident at Melbourne Airport on August 27, five people, thought to be members of the same extended family, were offloaded from a flight and searched.
On the same day at Melbourne, a man was pulled from another flight, searched, and was found to be in possession of more than $30,000 in undeclared currency and violent propaganda images.
One man caught in September was found not to have Islamist propaganda, but was instead in possession of child abuse images.

There you go. More Islamic headache! The more Muslims there are in your country, the more trouble you will have to deal with, and it doesn’t matter if those Muslims are ‘moderate’ Muslims or ‘liberal’ Muslims.
And that is where I have a difference of opinion with Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller. As much as I otherwise respect them, I don’t understand why they fall for the fallacy of “Millions of peaceful Muslims who live their lives in the west just like anyone else.” Why do they even call themselves ‘Muslims’ if they are so ‘peaceful’?
Muslims need to be treated the same way we treated the Nazis and the Communists. This includes all Muslims, even Ahmediyyas! I have elaborated more on it on my Google page. I will appreciate if someone can read it and explain to me where I am wrong in my conclusion-

Exactly. The real cost of having Muslims in Western countries may outweigh the benefit.
We have restrictions of our freedom, we have increased taxes, we have constant fear.
Are Muslims not too expensive in every way? Ship them back.

Muslims are too high-maintenance to keep many of them.
Jayell says
Muslims extort the ‘jizya’ tax from ‘infidels’ living in their lands for no reason other than pure malice. However, it can be shown that muslims are a financial burden on the non-Islamic countries they choose to infest. The obvious answer is to introduce a similar tax on all Islamic organisations in western countries to offset the additional security costs, social security costs, law enforcement and prison costs and compensation costs resulting from muslim crime and terrorism. Added to the total of that would be the management costs of running the scheme, since honest, law-abiding non-muslim citizens should hardly be expected to pay anything towards protecting themselves against the threats of uninvited impostors. Any Islamic organisation that fails to pay this tax should be closed down immediately and have its assets confiscated.

Agree completely.
And the Aussie airport security are probably more stringent than their Kiwi counter-parts, on account of dealing repeatedly with their Muslim problem.
If these jihadists want ease of movement, they can easily take advantage of their visa-free right to live in New Zealand indefinitely and take off from any of NZ’s international airports. They’ll probably face less scrutiny if they pose as a “tourist” to one of the nearby countries.
For any Kiwi dhimmis lurking here, thinking naively that *each* and *every last* one can be tracked and “it’s all good”: Being a good Muslim means taking jihad seriously- it’s in the Qur’an! All that is required to create an endless supply of jihadists is to have: (a) A Muslim (b) He reads the Qur’an and internalises its message.
None of this “they come from war torn countries” and they “come here for peace and freedom” crap. If these Kiwi dhimmis paid attention to international news, they would realise that many of these ISIS fighters from Europe also came from ‘moderate’ families, and from countries that are far less desirable to live in than ours/theirs. Did it stop their Europe-born children from joining ISIS? No! Refer above to (a) and (b).
I don’t want anymore of these bloody people in our country! I do not want to be the Netherlands, the UK or Sweden in a few years time! Explain to me any Kiwi dhimmis, what special quality NZ has which makes it immune from this problem, beyond and above any of the other Western countries who have fallen victim to this Muslim crap. Sheesh.

‘I don’t understand why they (Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller) fall for the fallacy of “Millions of peaceful Muslims who live their lives in the west just like anyone else.”’
They don’t “fall” for it, they’re simply civilized people.
In a civilized country you don’t punish a peaceful person for his beliefs, you only punish him when he acts according to them.
That’s the difference between US and THEM.
Know Thy Enemy says
Salah, did you read my Google post? By your logic we should be treating the peaceful Nazis just as anyone else. The Americans of 50s and 60s were uncivilized savages for weeding out the Nazis and Communists from influential positions, right?
Salah says
I did not read your post. But here’s how I see the situation.
I won’t compare Muslims to Nazis, I’ll compare them to Germans. Those of them who believe Islam is peaceful (based on the Meccan verses of the Qur’an), and live peacefully with their neighbours are more than welcome in our midst.
Those of them who believe and act upon the violent (Medina) verses of the Qur’an are the dangerous ones. They believe in and practice violent or stealth Jihad. They are the ones we should compare to the Nazis.
Of course, how to tell which is which? there’s a lot of ways to do so, but that’s another question.
Know Thy Enemy says
@Salah So you think we should compare Muslims to Germans, and only the Jihadis to Nazis. Well I want to point out that when the US won in 1945, it wasn’t just the Nazis who were defeated, all of Germany was defeated! The Nazis were annihilated but the ‘peaceful’ Germans had to pay too. After the war, Mein Kamph was banned by the new [USA approved] Government, and they have still not lifted the ban.
It needs to be noted that there were few to no stealth Nazis that were out confusing the US and its allies. Were there any Germans claiming that Nazism was fully compatible with American values?
As you yourself noted, if we are to really believe in ‘peaceful’ and ‘violent’ Muslims, we need to be able to tell who is who. You say “there’s a lot of ways to do so..”. Well I am open to all ideas, so please go ahead and explain how to tell who is who!
Salah says
@Know Thy Enemy
Yes, Germany was defeated, but Germans are still Germans. Actually, it’s the evil ideology that has been defeated. Islam too must be defeated, at least the violent side of it. Muslims can still be Muslims as long as they reject violence. In fact, Islam without violence is not Islam anymore, and Muslims who reject violence are not True Muslims anymore, they are Nominal Muslims. But if this is their choice we can live with it.
Mein Kamph was banned, so should the Qur’an, or at least its violent verses. I wrote about that myself a few years back:
http://crossmuslims.blogspot.com/2010/05/accursed-book-le-livre-maudit.html
Now, how to tell who is who:
A decent Muslim must…
1- Accept profiling.
2- Never ask for special treatments.
3- Condemn violent and stealth jihad.
4- Collaborate with authorities.
5- Reject the idea of supremacy.
6- No polygamy, paedophilia, necrophilia, etc.
7- Accept the closure of Mosques that preach jihad.
8- Renew allegiance to host country.
9- Reject hijab, niqab, burka, etc.
Just to name a few.
BTW, I’ve read your post.

I don’t know if it would be worth the added trouble of trying to decide “which is which” and on what end of the spectrum they are at. It costs time and money to scale up the efforts of police and intelligence services to maintain a watchful eye. In the meantime, non-Muslims have to face restrictions on their freedoms to accommodate this. Some may well think their religion is “peaceful” but *how* is this supposed to be accurately determined? To know the contents of their mind? People can sway in their beliefs over time as well. Following the posts of some mujahideen, I read a comment from one who said something to this effect- “Why does the West portray jihadists, only in a bad light? They don’t know that these people weep when they look at pictures of their family when they are away fighting in Allah’s cause. They don’t know how kind their hearts are. They are quick to judge them. I used to be one of those people.”
In other words, she was initially against the behaviour even though she was a Muslim but she changed her mind. I cannot remember whether I read that on a blog or on one of their Facebook pages. I’ve read so many of their comments, I can just remember the substance of the comment.
You know how criminologists study the antecedents of crime and whether certain factors about a persons background can be marked as “risk factors”? Poverty, abuse in childhood, substance abuse- either themselves or of their parents etc to name a few. Now religion may not be part of this at the moment I know. But if you adhere to a religion which is war-like in its teachings, I would say that this puts you at a greater risk of turning to these kinds of terrorist acts, versus those who do not.
Of course, you can’t always know each and every detail about a person’s background when deciding to allow them to move into the country. You can do a criminal background check, look at their qualifications etc. Indeed, some of them may go on to commit crime. But it is less predictable about which of those will do it, if everything else about their background seems fine and has been given the ‘all clear’.
So what is one to do? It is constant maintenance to prune these Muslims or their future children who may or may not later turn into pious Muslims and decide they want to embark on jihad. I honestly cannot think of a good solution which doesn’t involve a bit of firmness on the part of Western governments.

Every Muslim is either an enemy or a potential enemy. There is NO such thing as a moderate Muslim.
Only Total War can save us and I see not an iota of the willpower for it in our leadership.
BTW check on the descriptions for missing children all over Europe and note the extremely high incidence of fair hair. How did I notice this? My grandson has white hair and three Muslim women surrounded him in Paris after he left the lavatory there. He was four and his mother was buying a newspaper 10 ms away while she waited for him( “I use the man’s toilet”). They had been noticed by her as they all stared at him and must have followed them both. When she grabbed him they all smiled at her and let him go but unwillingly and the Arabic was sharp and did not match the smiles.

Ah yes, the news tonight will be predictable – “the muslim community calls for restraint and tolerance.” ” Muslim Australians unfairly targeted.” “Islamic community victims of hate mongering.” etc etc. Then interviews with Keyser Trad, Waheed Aly, Rebecca Kay and Hezbut-Tahrir’s Uthman Badar. Then the police and government apologizing to the Muslim community. This is becoming tiresome.
dumbledoresarmy says
*Incredibly* tiresome.
Interspersed with all the endless puff-pieces in the media about the wonders of the hajj (never mentioning that no non-Muslim would *ever* be allowed into the enclosure to look at what Hugh Fitzgerald, former frequent commenter at this forum, used to sarcastically refer to as the Magic Wonderstone, let alone even be allowed into Mecca and Medina, whereas *anybody* can rock up to the Kotel in Jerusalem, *anybody* can visit Varanasi, *anybody* can walk into the Vatican…), the wonderfulness of wearing the Slave Rag, and all about eid al adhan and eid al fitr and wonderful wonderful Ramadan…
*No* other religious group resident in Australia gets so much free publicity and fawning attention as Islam does, I do believe. Where are the in-depth articles about Diwali and Deepavali, or about Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimages? Where are the glossy booklets designed for use in schools, explaining how to relate to Hindus and Buddhists? There’s one focusing specially on Muslims.
This is especially peculiar in light of the fact, considered in number terms, if one combines all the Hindus and Buddhists in Australia, one gets a population figure that is *larger* than the number of Muslims.
Right now, Jews in Australia – a community whose earliest presence dates all the way back to the First Fleet, and who have made a very large and positive contribution to Australia all the way through, despite never being a very large percentage of the population – will have just finished celebrating Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
NOTHING in the ABC or the commercial press about that, zero, zilch, nada; even as there’s been reams of stuff about the Slave Rag, eid al adhan, and the Hajj.

Well said. Applies here in America also.

Hey there DA –
I think this Rosh Hashana is the more poignant for the Israelis discovering the creepy Stalker Tunnel Hamas plot to massacre and kidnap thousands of Israelis. That would have devastated the country but the Gaza action resulted in its discovery.
Things are bad enough there without Hamas psychopaths creeping out of tunnels, murdering children and kidnapping people.

Shoulda let them go, to Syria; but, as soon as they were gone…strip them of their Australian citizenship and passports.
Anyone who is drooling and slavering over **beheading videos** in his or her spare time (the occasional horrified Infidel who has watched one or two of those and then had to turn away to throw up, or has then sat back in shock and slammed shut the internet window through which they looked) is *very* unlikely to keep a private stash of Real Death Porn on the laptop or mobile phone) is NOT someone we want in our country.
I do *not* want a connoisseur of beheading videos – a member of a cult that actively practises *human sacrifice* – living next door/ up the street/ in my suburb/ in my city/ in my state/ in my *country*.
Know Thy Enemy says
Good point! But how do we know who is keeping a stash of beheading videos and who is not? All we know is that Muzzleheads are far more likely to be connoisseurs in this field.
Except that we can’t go to every Muzzie home to see which one only happened to be born to Muslims and which one is a true member of this cult. Nor do we have the resources to raid them every month (“Moderate’ Muzzies turn into extremist Muzzies on a monthly basis). And how would we know that the ‘moderates’ are really that? Plenty of wise people have advised never to trust a Muslim.
If you ask me, there is only one solution I can think of- Deport every Muslim, and curtail the rights of those who cannot be deported. They should be banned from carrying arms and ammunition, and should have to take a permit even if they want to buy a kitchen knife. If they don’t want to be treated like this, they don’t have to call Quran a book from God, and don’t have to attend a mosque.
Needless to say, with the influence that Islam supporters have on our societies, taking away the privileges of Muslims is a tall order. we are going to need to do a lot of work, and figure out ways to get our message across to non-Muslims.
OMG says
Very good point, as soon as the wider Australian community gets on board and this kind of behaviour gets the disdain required, like those holding Isis and beheading porn being on a register and facing prison sentences much like sex offenders we see the apologists back right off.

It’s obvious the Australians are paying very close attention to whoever heads over and whoever comes back. They don’t worry about what minority group (euphamism for “Australian” Muslims) is upset by their actions, they do this because it is by-God right, and there’s a damn sight more Australians who are not Muslim by faith and jihadi by inclination than there are who adhere to those beliefs. It’s the right thing to do, they face a clear and present danger from these miscreants just as we do here – only we’re too PC to act this way.
Our govt insists there are about “a dozen” Americans fighting with ISIS/ISIL/IS/whatever their handle is this week. There HAVE to be more than that.
