Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Canadian PM Harper cancels Malala citizenship ceremony

Oct 22, 2014 1:24 pm By Robert Spencer

Harper-MalalaMalala Yousafzai was set to receive honorary Canadian citizenship today. Islamic jihadists have tried to kill Malala once and have vowed to try again. Could the Canadian shootings be related to this? The possibility at this point cannot be ruled out.

“Harper cancels Malala citizenship ceremony,” The Canadian Press, October 22, 2014:

TORONTO – Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office says two scheduled events today in Toronto with Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai have been cancelled.

The last-minute announcement comes amid an ongoing emergency in Ottawa, where several shootings have occurred on or near Parliament Hill.

Harper was to moderate an afternoon question-and-answer session with Yousafzai at a Toronto high school.

He was then scheduled to head to a downtown hotel, where the 17-year-old from Pakistan was to receive honorary Canadian citizenship.

Harper’s spokesman says both events have been cancelled.

Officials in prime minister’s office say Harper was rushed away from the Parliament building and is safe in an undisclosed location.

Coincidence that this would happen on the very day of the ceremony? I don’t think so. Canada needs to rethink their liberal immigration policy but they likely won’t because that would be “racist”.

Even though Islam is not a “race”. However, it is one of the worlds most dangerous political ideologies shrouded in the guise of religion.
You know…..the oft stated “Religion of Peace”.

Islam is only the worlds largest, most ancient, yet ongoing, extortion-racket CRIME syndicate, and the only “religious” part in it, is where they say:

“God told us to commit these crimes!”

        (CAPISCE?)!

Also scheduled today were talks related to Canada’s terrorism laws. I believe some revisions or additions were to be made or discussed.

I think terrorist law revisions are definitely being discussed.

Malala is despised in Pakistan and among UK Pakistani Muslims. They believe she is part of a conspiracy of the west and Jews to malign Muslims

    • Wtf? says

      Oct 22, 2014 at 6:48 pm

She doesn’t have to malign them, they do an excellent job of that themselves. All she does is talk about the facts.
I thought Canadians were a brave and proud people, sadly lacking with all the reports today of an unarmed soldier, police chief writing to reassure Muslims and the Prime Minister ducking and running.
In Australian terms the Canadians would be termed “weak as piss” or “pissweak”. Over here we shot them in the head, raise our security level and enact laws to curtail their nefarious activities!
      Very sad.

Gee, thanks for representing “Team Australia” with so much insight, wtf. Not. Your types of “we” is so not the case. Exclusionary, reactive and of course, conservative: these are but three elements found in our current federal government. Canada, stay strong, stay free.

There are a lot more of “we” than there are of you leftist apologists . Are you Ms Milne or Ms Sarah Hansen-Young of the Greens, the irrelevant political party that claims ex Labor Leaders as their own?

I’m with Rob. My anger was directed at the Canadian establishment for turning a bling eye to the dangers of these ragheads. My anger was directed at the needless death of an unarmed soldier guarding their National Monument. My anger is directed at the little boy no fatherless. Why because political correctness is out of control and Canadians need to replace their pissweak government in this time of peril. Dispora is a leftist apologist from Australia, the type with rainbow flowing dresses on , no shoes and either a dyke university lecturer or a welfare recipient. That’s why Canada needs to take firm action like the current Australian government regardless which group it upsets!

A lot of people in the UK have a feeling that this young lady has been deliberately over-hyped, particularly with Nobel Prize. Not surprising that her Islamic compatriots might feel that she’s being used as a human stick to publicly bash them on the international stage. Not that that’s a bad thing.

  4. R Cole says

    Oct 22, 2014 at 2:36 pm

The young Nobel Prize winner Malala Yousafzai hated by many at home in Pakistan.

    Conspiracy!

More difficult for her supporters to comprehend is the outpouring of invective from Pakistan’s middle classes, who may be keen to educate their daughters but who object to airing the country’s problems abroad.

“#MalalaYousafzai should b awarded Oscar Award instead of Nobel Prize,” tweeted user Adnan Karim Rana, a common refrain among detractors who believe her shooting, hospitalisation and coma were all staged as part of a conspiracy that involved Britain where she now lives.

    Islamophobic!

Inquilab Khan, a 45-year-old pharmacy owner in Peshawar — the main city in the Islamist insurgency-racked northwest — said he did not understand why Malala had been awarded the Nobel prize.

“Through Malala they want to malign the image of Pakistan and Islam and they were in search of a figure from this region with a Muslim name, so that they could use her against us,” Khan said.

    Snubbed!

Bookshops in the city continue to refuse to stock her autobiography, “I am Malala”, after receiving threats from the Taliban and being warned by police against selling the book.

So it goes even as she has been awarded the Nobel prize.

Supporters fear Malala could be forced to remain in exile like fellow laureate Salaam [*Pakistan’s first Nobel winner], who left the country after Ahmadis were declared non-Muslims.

Despite his groundbreaking work in subatomic physics, including predicting the existence of the so-called “God particle” later known as the Higgs boson, Salam’s achievements have been expunged from official records and his grave lies desecrated.

She may need that honorary Canadian citizenship!!

“The fact she is being feted globally and in the very capitals of countries regarded by conspiracy-minded people as hostile to Pakistan and Muslims — that is seen as evidence there must be something going on,” he added.

Her critics on social media — many of whom support right-of-centre opposition leader Imran Khan and who include women — have posted pictures of Pakistani girls going to school to “prove” that Malala was lying about the Taliban’s campaign to raze hundreds of schools. AFP

And there you have it – if we think they are brave – they think they’re villainous!

“Could the Canadian shootings be related to [Malala set to receive Canadian citizenship]?”

IMO I don’t think so. The attacks of today have everything to do with Islamic State’s call on Muslims to attack Canadians. They would have attacked no matter who was set to receive citizenship and whether or not any talks related to terrorism laws were scheduled for today.

Plenty of Muslims know that Islamic State lives by Islam and so they respect whatever calls it makes. Let’s hope this understanding sinks into the heads of Canadian leaders.

That one of the Taliban in his jihad against females and for Islam tries to murder in cold blood that helpless young girl is awful indeed. What coward of a man he must be the do such a terrible and gutless thing as as try to shoot to death an unarmed young girl who was so very helpless. Moreover, that the other Taliban liked what that member of their tried to do only further exposes their cruel ,sick warped, evil and murderous mindset. This malicious and brutal way of thinking reflect the extreme and malice filled anti-female spirit the Taliban process because of their anti-female religion which is Islam. In addition to all this, the Taliban by this hideous and heinous act of attempted murder have shown that they must be very much afraid of the education of girls and women. For the Taliban must be very scared that if a female becomes educated, she then might start to look into different worldviews. Thus she then just might to think for herself. This the Taliban with all their misogyny would detest. To explain it in another way, Thomas Jefferson had a good and valid point when he stated “Enlighten the people generally, and tyranny and oppression of body and mind will vanish like evil spirits at the dawn of day.”

Canada needs to prohibit Muslims from entering their nation.

And after the two recent Jihadi crimes in the news in Canada within what, 2 days time, yes, they need to round up every Muslim and deport them back to Iraq or Saudi Arabia.

Islam does NOT belong in Canada.

Nobel Peace Prize; Can someone please explain what the criteria are for selecting this award? This brave young lady, Malala Yousafzai, has certainly stood up against one of the more odious aspects of Islam and paid a high price for her actions. She has caused a lot of divisiveness in her own country and society but what exactly has she done to promote world peace?
The divisiveness that she has caused in her own country suggests two important things; 1, We should let them live their own traditional lifestyles in their own country and 2, More importantly they should not be allowed to bring their ways to our (western) countries and best that they do not come here at all.

      JB,

this young lady (who I never heard of, until seeing this post-just as a disclosure) hs probably DONE AS MUCH TO EARN A NOBEL PEACE PRIZE AS SUCH ILLUSTRIOUS RECENT WINNERS:

BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA- AS HE (I FORGOT WHAT)

AL GORE (FOR A VIDEO OF THE THREAT FO GLOBAL WARMING; as a side note:

when I was in college in the late 1960-early 70’s, the FEAR WAS GLOBAL COOLING. one proposal (I read this a few months ago, do not recall from college years-in New York City)–drop coal ash on the glaciers, so they would melt and water flow into the oceans.

(This past year saw the glaciers increase in size).

Oh yes, there was ( admittedly, some time back) Yasser Arafat for supposedly saying that his PLO would lessen terrorism or some such lie.

This young lady at least stood for her beliefs- and has paid a price. If deserving of a Nobel Prize-I do not know.

A newspaper (a few months back) said, anyone could nominate anyone for a Nobel Peace Prize, as long as they ( the person nominating) gave a convincing letter. I am not sure-do not remember the rest of the procedure- but I think a committee picked some and then became a sort of popularity contest-but am not sure. But, perhaps someone else can fill in the gaps.

      Dear Sir,
Instead of apologising for these misfits how about your great majority of peace loving Muslims growing some backbone and stand up to these people. Stop supporting Imans who extol jihadism, stop sending financial support and above all start turning in these people before they do anything. When this starts to occur then just maybe the civilised world will believe you.

There will come a point, hopefully before widespread civil war, where one establishment politician or major media publication sees the way the wind is blowing, and calls the Emperor naked. Or alternatively, a non-establishment politician like Le Pen will gain power. How will the house of cards fall then?
