“This is a genocide, the way in which the ADF kills these people.” Of course, we know already that it has nothing to do with Islam, but will any of the learned analysts kindly explain why Muslims around the world are misunderstanding Islam in exactly the same way?
“Eastern Congo Violence: Islamist Rebels Kill At Least 22, Including Eight Children,” by Avaneesh Pandey, International Business Times, October 18, 2014:
Just days after 27 people were killed in Congo by suspected Ugandan rebels, 22 people, including at least eight children, were killed in a fresh attack in the conflict-ridden eastern region of the country on Saturday, according to a report by Agence France-Presse, or AFP. Militants belonging to the Islamist group Allied Democratic Forces – National Army for the Liberation of Uganda, or ADF-NALU, are suspected to be behind the attacks.
The latest attack reportedly occurred about 30 miles from the town of Beni, located in the rebel stronghold of North Kivu in the country’s northeast. Ten women, eight children and four men were killed when rebels raided the village of Byalos, according to media reports.
“This is a genocide, the way in which the ADF kills these people,” Omar Kavota, a spokesperson for the Civil Society of North Kivu said, according to a Reuters report.
The attack comes just two days after 27 people, including many children, were killed in the same area during raids by rebel militia….
The Congolese army, assisted by U.N. troops, has been attempting to battle the rise of ADF-NALU since December 2013, after 21 civilians were reportedly killed by members of the rebel group.
ADF-NALU was formed in 1995 to resist Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and to establish an Islamic state in Uganda. The ADF-NALU, which, according to some estimates, has nearly 1,500 members, is believed to be entrenched in the hills between eastern Congo and Uganda, where they have conducted a series of attacks targeting the army and civilians.

“why Muslims around the world are misunderstanding Islam in exactly the same way?”
A simple question that can not be repeated enough.
Jay Boo says
The UN has criticized this group but ‘surprisingly’ that has not stopped them.
This might be because of the “Not about Islam” theory in the UN ignores the Tanzania and Somalia Islamist connection with Uganda and Eastern DR Congo
Yet the UN has gone out of its way to summon Kenyan President Kenyatta to come before the UN-backed International Criminal Court or ICC in The Hague, in the Netherlands.
If the UN really wanted to stop Islamist groups in Eastern Africa they would stop interfering in Kenya.

And stop their idiotic/hateful attacks on Israel for defending its citizens.
In fact, I am surprised that the Useless nations HAS NOT CONDEMNED ISRAEL for these two attacks.
Also that Kerry and Obama have not, ( condemned Israel) nor have they tied it into a lack of affordable health care and global warming. Did I miss anything?
Oh, yes. the Republicans war on women for women getting 67% of men’s pay ( question-originally in a
Wall Street Journal blog. If women are getting 67% (I think that is the number being thrown about) why aren’t firms hiring more women and firing men-to save the difference?
Anything else?

As the mayhem perpetrated by Muslims continue all over the world, the rest of the world continues to ignore it by saying there is no connection between Islam and theses Muslim atrocities!! Willful ignorance or death wish of non-Muslim morons!!

Because Western countries are infected by islam – and let them do what they want .
Last but not least it’s about OIL and money !

At a terrible cost that fills me with a horror no Hollywood movie could never inspire in me, IS is actually doing us in the Western/civilized world a tremendous favor! Bush started spouting that “religion of peace” lie before he even smuggled out the Bin Ladins, while the ruins of the towers were still smoking. Obama took up the refrain.
The ignorant of both sides of the political spectrum were convinced and most of them remain so to this day, although I freely acknowledge that the left, for whatever reason, is way behind on the issue. Mostly, I think that those who have bought into that crap simply think that Mo was simply the Arab Jesus and it is unfair and racist to single out islam when all religions have their faults.
The favor that IS has done us is to directly connect their crimes to the “perfect man”, WHO MUST BE REVERED AND EMULATED!
We are letting islam off the hook here!
To condemn rape, beheading unbelievers, pedophilia, banditry, sex slavery, torture or the many other crimes committed by IS is blasphemy, heresy, apostasy – crimes punishable by death – BECAUSE MOHAMMED DID ALL THOSE THINGS AND DEMANDED THAT HIS FOLLOWERS DO LIKEWISE!
No follower of Mohammed is innocent. The man they revere was an unspeakable pig. Unless we make the direct connection and from the life of Mohammed himself, they can simply quibble about this and that and claim it’s bigotry to pick on them.
So don’t bother to argue fine points of islam, get to the core, the life of Mohammed.
Nicu says
So well said – but they still lie at us and think we have no clue all about this !

Bush started out talking about the evil ideology…Suddenly it was the ROP and he’s off praying in a mosque, and hosted the WH Ramadan dinner. Strange behavior.

Muslim appologists and others who are at least willing to analyze Islam’s failings do so in such a way as to suggest that Islam is somehow ‘fixable’.
Unmosqued (familiar face at JW at end of trailer).
UnEasyOne says
EXACTLY! Unless you can go back in time and Zap Mo with a “good ray” – turn him into a decent human being – or do away with him altogether, islam ain’t fixable. The concept is blasphemous.
Wellington says
You point correctly, UnEasyOne, to the key to dealing with Islam, i.e., focus on Mohammed. The character of the founder of Islam is that of a psychopath who was besotted with himself and who was enthralled with death and power and sex (quite conveniently he never had a single sexual desire that Allah forbade him, including for his own daughter-in-law, Zaynab, and for six-year old Aisha, with whom he consummated his marriage when she was nine {or perhaps even only eight if one goes by the Muslim calendar}). He was a very bad man (albeit very clever) and in one of history’s greatest and most tragic ironies he has been raised to Model Man status and hailed as a good and great man (including by many dhimmi apologists for Islam like Karen Armstrong). He was anything but, and when contrasted with other religious and ethical founders like Jesus, Buddha, Confucius and Lao-tzu he is definitely the odd man out among such a group. No one of sense should want someone with the character of Mohammed founding a religion.
Mohammed is quite arguably the key to it all. Destroy Mohammed and you go a long way towards destroying Islam. Besides, he’s so deserving of destruction. Quite.
UnEasyOne says
Exactly.
I was, in writing that comment, thinking of putting in something like, “Thank heavens he didn’t want to X.” But try as I might, I couldn’t imagine a sexual thrill or other evil that he didn’t practice, endorse, or at least allow. Eating babies alive, I guess – but there isn’t a lot of demand for that.

Africanus Pithy
When I think of the giant strip of jungle that runs from near Africa’s west coast where the Ebola is going now (in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia) heading east through Nigeria, Cameroon and the Central African Republic (where HIV spawned, they think from men having sex with chimps), and thousands of miles through the two Congos and on to Uganda… I think of our old friend Idi Amin.
He was a Moslem, but a revert, new to the game. But that didn’t stop the new Moslem from doing a gigantic mass murder of Infidels in Uganda. In fact, his new religion probably impelled him to do the dirty deed.
But poor Idi took a bad PR hit when Bibi’s big brother led his IDF commando crew’s successful raid on Entebbe airport to rescue a planeload of kidnapped Jews. But Idi’s army was solid, mostly Moslems in a mainly Infidel nation, and they smoked a lot of Infidels. Word has it that they even dined on Infidel meat at big festive evening dinners. Hickory smoked Infidel meat, cubed and marinated and slow cooked in a big crock. High protein fare with a hefty dash of piety mixed in. Yummy.
Years later, after he was deposed and went into retirement from his career as a mass murdering despot , Idi succumbed to old age in Jedda, where his Arabian hosts had received him as an honored guest.
They don’t make ’em like Idi anymore. Wait a minute, now that I think about it, yes they *do* still make ’em like Idi. For example, that laughing commander Boko leader with the 300 kidnapped schoolgirl-now-sex-slaves is a lot like Idi.
These guys go for the gusto and enjoy it when it’s got.

The Islamic custom of family members washing the dead and then collectively washing hands in the same bowl is a plausible reason for the spread of Ebola in West Africa, as Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea have substantial Muslim populations. The WHO issued an advisory to the Red Cross last month to have the practice suspended, but it appears to have been ignored.
I know that in Jewish Law, ritual is put aside to save human life, but I do not know if Sharia has the same principle.
This is why a quarantine of those countries is needed, and our government should really be upfront in discussing this so that people understand what’s going on.
Oliver says
Obama’s FAA put a halt on flights to Israel when Israel was fighting the terrorist group Hamas.
But the slime, I mean POTUS refuses to do the same to Liberia, etc. where ebola is spreading.
I guess he feels that Israel protecting its citizens is more of a threat to the US then ebola.
Judi says
Unfortunately, Bibi’s brother Yonathan was the only one killed in the raid on Entebbe.
This story does bring back memories of another despot Idi Amin.

This was in reply to Alarmed Pig Farmer
Alarmed Pig Farmer says
There was a big buzz in US military and intelligence circles after Entebbe. The draw dropping success of the special operation led by Yonatan Netanyahu opened pocketbooks in D.C. and led to the formation of Delta Force a few years after Netanyahu’s airport rescue raid.
Word has it that his little brother Bibi took the news of his death real hard. But think about the good of it: a planeload of innocents were saved, and the governments of Western nations climbed on the special ops bandwagon to help make this a safer and more just world.

Are you suggesting that we locate an anti-jihad King Kong?

Good idea. Today’s Fay Wray is Pamela Geller. Once Kong breaks his chains, the jihadis will poop their pants.

With this above article it is clear the there is nothing “holy” in that jihad those murderous Muslims had engaged in. Moreover, many place in the Bible it not only condemns murder but the Bible also teaches the those who murder “shall not inherit the kingdom of God. ” Galatians 5:21.[K.J.V.] That’s something the jihad minded Muslims should think about.
