According to Islamic law, Muslim men can take “captives of the right hand” (Qur’an 4:3, 4:24, 33:50). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries, and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war” (33:50). 4:3 and 4:24 extend this privilege to Muslim men in general, as does this passage. “Certainly will the believers have succeeded: They who are during their prayer humbly submissive, and they who turn away from ill speech, and they who are observant of zakah, and they who guard their private parts except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed” (Qur’an 23:1-6).
The rape of captive women is also sanctioned in Islamic tradition:
Abu Sirma said to Abu Sa’id al Khadri (Allah he pleased with him): 0 Abu Sa’id, did you hear Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) mentioning al-’azl? He said: Yes, and added: We went out with Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) on the expedition to the Bi’l-Mustaliq and took captive some excellent Arab women; and we desired them, for we were suffering from the absence of our wives, (but at the same time) we also desired ransom for them. So we decided to have sexual intercourse with them but by observing ‘azl (Withdrawing the male sexual organ before emission of semen to avoid conception). But we said: We are doing an act whereas Allah’s Messenger is amongst us; why not ask him? So we asked Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him), and he said: It does not matter if you do not do it, for every soul that is to be born up to the Day of Resurrection will be born. (Muslim 3371)
Notice that the controversy is not over whether the Muslims can rape the captives but only over coitus interruptus. The rape is taken for granted.
These passages have not gone unnoticed. The Egyptian Sheikh Abu-Ishaq al-Huwayni declared in May 2011 that “we are in the era of jihad,” and that meant Muslims would take slaves. In a subsequent interview he elaborated:
Jihad is only between Muslims and infidels. Spoils, slaves, and prisoners are only to be taken in war between Muslims and infidels. Muslims in the past conquered, invaded, and took over countries. This is agreed to by all scholars—there is no disagreement on this from any of them, from the smallest to the largest, on the issue of taking spoils and prisoners. The prisoners and spoils are distributed among the fighters, which includes men, women, children, wealth, and so on.
When a slave market is erected, which is a market in which are sold slaves and sex-slaves, which are called in the Qur’an by the name milk al-yamin, “that which your right hands possess” [Koran 4:24]. This is a verse from the Qur’an which is still in force, and has not been abrogated. The milk al-yamin are the sex-slaves. You go to the market, look at the sex-slave, and buy her. She becomes like your wife, (but) she doesn’t need a (marriage) contract or a divorce like a free woman, nor does she need a wali. All scholars agree on this point—there is no disagreement from any of them. […] When I want a sex slave, I just go to the market and choose the woman I like and purchase her.
Around the same time, on May 25, 2011, a female Kuwaiti politician, Salwa al-Mutairi, also spoke out in favor of the Islamic practice of sexual slavery of non-Muslim women, emphasizing that the practice accorded with Islamic law and the parameters of Islamic morality.
A merchant told me that he would like to have a sex slave. He said he would not be negligent with her, and that Islam permitted this sort of thing. He was speaking the truth. I brought up [this man’s] situation to the muftis in Mecca. I told them that I had a question, since they were men who specialized in what was halal, and what was good, and who loved women. I said, “What is the law of sex slaves?”
The mufti said, “With the law of sex slaves, there must be a Muslim nation at war with a Christian nation, or a nation which is not of the religion, not of the religion of Islam. And there must be prisoners of war.”
“Is this forbidden by Islam?” I asked.
“Absolutely not. Sex slaves are not forbidden by Islam. On the contrary, sex slaves are under a different law than the free woman. The free woman must be completely covered except for her face and hands. But the sex slave can be naked from the waist up. She differs a lot from the free woman. While the free woman requires a marriage contract, the sex slave does not—she only needs to be purchased by her husband, and that’s it. Therefore the sex slave is different than the free woman.”
The Islamic State acts on these beliefs, which are Qur’an-based.
“Islamic State commanders ‘using Yazidi virgins for sex,'” by Ruth Sherlock, Telegraph, October 18, 2014:
Islamic State (Isil) jihadists separated virgin women from the Yazidi minority sect in Iraq to take as sex slaves, according to a group that monitors Isil in Syria.
Earlier this month, Isil’s English-language online magazine Dabiq confirmed rumours that “thousands” of Yazidi woman and girls had been kidnapped and kept as concubines when its fighters stormed towns and villages in Sinjar province.
Now, a source with in the northern Syrian city of Raqqa, the “capital” of the extremist’s territory, has given details of the practice to a local anti-Isil group that monitors the jihadists.
“Only the virgins” were taken as sex slaves by the jihadists, the source told the group ‘Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently’.
The group is made up of sixteen activists in Raqqa who work to shed light on the jihadist’s actions in the city.
The Telegraph is not able to independently verify their claims, but they have a good track record for accuracy in their reporting.
According to a report published on the group’s website, the Islamic State source said that after the Yazidi women were captured in Iraq they were divided up, separating out “virgins” from married women and mothers.
The virgins were then distributed among “Isil soldiers” who had taken part in the battle in Sinjar province.
The virgin Yazidi women and girls were reportedly made to convert to Islam and then forced to marry the jihadist.
“After marrying her [and using her for sex], he might decide to divorce her and pass her onto another fighter”, the source said.
Some of the women were brought to Raqqa province and given as gifts to the leaders of Isil, the source added….

Mohammed, that bastard, authorized the raping of non-Muslim females some 14 centuries ago, and yet right now we have occupying the Oval Office a man who said before the UN General Assembly that “the future should not belong to those who defame the Prophet of Islam.”
See the problem? If you don’t, you’re either a fool (e.g., John Kerry) or something even worse (e.g., CAIR). No third possibility exists.
Jen says
I know. Obama saying that is beyond repulsive. This is coming from a man who is NOT ignorant about Islam, having attended a Muslim school. Yet he can still stand up and say this. He should be made to feel humiliated. He even used the word “slander” in the way a Muslim would use the word “slander.”
He said “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” Slander? What? Even if what is being said about Muhammad is true?
Gail Griffin says
Wouldn’t it be fun if O was asked this question if he still believed that the future did not belong etc. In a WH press conference. Who is slandering Islam? The Islamist or ???

Mufti Cameron, Imam Kerry, and Ayatollah Obama could not disagree more.
That is an amazing quote. No disagreement among scholars of the ulama, none, on sex slavery in Islam. Only when lying to the naji kuffar to keep us in the dark until it is too late is sex slavery controversial.

I understand being upset with the Left for their de facto establishing Islam as our state religion, but you’ve gone several bridges too far.

The morally bankrupt Ameer, who was on here justifying and defending Islam and his prophet’s pedophilia yesterday should read this article and feel deeply ashamed of himself for calling Muhammad a prophet from God.
“Educated” Muslims he said. Kangaroo courts, these educated Muslims had a problem with he says, among other things. EVERY Islamic court, whether it follows Islamic principles absolutely perfectly or not, is a bloody kangaroo court. Justice and balance are not cornerstones of Sharia.

I agree with dda.
Most of your posts, I generally agree with; this one ? No.
Instead of wishing a horrible fate on these foolish people, we should be putting forth all our efforts to educate them. I know it’s bloody frustrating, but we mustn’t give up.
I **do** understand your anger and frustration, Fiqh, I’ve felt it myself, many times. But as dda notes, such posts only allow such as the evil rezali, to spew his filth, thinking he smells out a breach in the wall.

I think you better have yourself psychoanalysed. If you still believe in educating them, you need to be mentally checked.

Mate.
*No* woman deserves to have that happen to her.
Question: would you be personally prepared to hand over a non-Muslim woman or girl (even one of your particular acquaintance? a sister? a cousin? a niece? a workmate? a neighbour?) over to be gang raped by a mob of Muslim jihadis?? As “punishment”?
Instead of indulging in horrible revenge fantasies, why not hope that some of these young and not so young women in the Western world will *wake up*??
What makes you so sure that NONE of them are capable of change?

PS
Next time you’re tempted to write a post like the one you just wrote: bear in mind the vile gloating that that post has just elicited from the infinitely-vile rezali mehil who has *immediately* jumped in and used *your post* as an excuse to throw sh*t all over a number of the regular female Infidel posters *here*.

All civilized people agree that this is appalling. But there has been a deafening silence from the Feminists, whose mantra is that we shouldn’t interfere with other cultures because that is neo-colonial, witness Germaine Greer’s statements. In the PC liberal world, all cultures are equal.
