“Qatar is arguably the preeminent sponsor of terror in the world today. It is a benefactor of the genocidal armies of ISIS, al Qaeda, and Boko Haram; it is involved in Taliban narcotics trafficking through a relationship with the Pakistani National Logistics Cell; and profits from operating a virtual slave state. Qatar is involved in terror operations from Nigeria to Gaza to Syria to Iraq.”
This is why I joined the steering committee of the Qatar Awareness Campaign, a coalition of concerned independent journalists and publishers. We are sending letters addressed to companies, universities and individuals who are accepting money from Qatar, urging them to stop — for that money is going to jihad.
“Harrods shoppers ‘are buying into terror,’” by Robert Mendick, the Telegraph, October 12, 2014:
Customers of Harrods are being urged to boycott the department store in a symbolic protest against its Qatari owners.
Qatar, which bought Harrods in 2010, has been accused of either directly funding terrorist groups or turning a blind eye to financiers operating out of the Gulf state.
It is now facing a backlash from protesters sickened by the executions of Western hostages in Syria and the violence wreaked on the region by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (Isil), al-Qaeda and other offshoot terror groups.
Harrods was sold by Mohamed Al Fayed, its previous owner, to Qatar Holdings, part of the Qatar Investment Authority, the state’s sovereign wealth fund, in May 2010 for a reported £1.5 billion. The sale was concluded by Qatar’s then prime minister Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber al Thani, who was also chief executive of the wealth fund.
Under his rule, Qatar also owns or co-owns a number of other landmarks including the Shard, Europe’s tallest skyscraper, as well as large stakes in some major UK businesses.
Now Harrods is facing a boycott as a consequence of criticism of Qatar’s links to Islamist terrorists.
Mark Lewis, the solicitor who represented the family of Milly Dowler among others in the News of the World phone hacking scandal, is leading calls for a boycott.
Mr Lewis said: “We can stand back and do nothing, but when we do, we are paying for that terror … People need to know where their money is going.”
He added: “While people know very little about Qatar, its wealth has bought some of the crown jewels of English property. It owns the Shard, it owns Harrods, it might as well own our morals.
“The scale of its commercial holdings is such that most of us do not even realise that we are buying into its terrorist operations.”
Baroness Cox, a cross-bench peer and committed Christian who founded an international aid charity, said: “I would back a boycott of Harrods.
“As a principle, if people are using their wealth to support barbaric acts of terrorism, they should not be making money in our country and basking in the credibility of such a prestigious place.”
Simon Cobbs, of Sussex Friends of Israel, which has already organised one protest outside the Qatari embassy, said: “We will now target other Qatar-owned businesses including Harrods. We will ensure that Harrods customers know that the money they spend ultimately ends up in the hands of a regime that funds terrorism.”…

And millions of Zionist companies support Israel, their government and the IDF to murder Palestinians? Because the USA support them doesn’t mean it’s right?
Cicero says
Is this not an. Equivalent statement? How can you equate the funding of murderous activities by Islamic business interests including Harrod with (non -international ) support for those of the. Jewish peoples who wish to live in the Jewish state of Israel. In every corner of the world murderous warriors decapitate, rape, murder, mutilateany who oppose them and are non-Muslim. Whereas the Israelis. Are fighting a local war for existential survival. They do to view the entire non-Jewishworld as their enemies who must be subjugated ! TheISraels wish to live I peace and to afford rights to all their citizens. If not then why is the Muslim Arab population expanding in Israel yetJewish populations have been extinguished I other middle Eastern countries over the last. 65 years?

The IDF does not murder Palestinians. It kills men and women who have taken up arms (and suicide belts) to murder Israeli civilians (and who have done so thousands of times). Please tell me which country on the planet would not arrest or kill terrorists. Civilian deaths in times of conflict are to be regretted, and Israel has done more than any other country in history to prevent such deaths. Hamas commits war crimes, Israel does not. The assassination of terrorist leaders is something most human beings approve of. It is not murder, since it is done to save lives. If it had been possible to assassinate Hitler in 1939 or before, millions of lives might have been saved. Think about this hard and don’t just trot out raw garbage again.

Thanks Mr. Spencer et al, I continue to believe you’ll be victorious if we all support the best of the freedom fighters, currently known as counterjihadists.

There will always be people who swear allegiance to a organization, a group, a cause. The origin of course, strength in numbers and control.
Caveman, any of the tribes, whether they be Native American or ones like the Mongols, the Pilgrims. As long as Islam does not go through a religious / political Reformation, we will continue to have groups of Muslim terrorists who interpret the Koran, Sharia law, Hadiths, to mean, “Convert, Subjugate or Execute,” if the person or group do not want to be Muslims.
Here in the United States we turn our government over to what is called in religious organizations that are not ordained, “Laity.” Islam melds religion and government. We need a legal statement to clarify and reiterate, The United States Constitution addresses the issue of religion in two places: in the First Amendment, and the Article VI prohibition on religious tests as a condition for holding public office. The First Amendment prohibits the federal government from making a law “respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”. This provision was later expanded to state and local governments, through the Incorporation of the Fourteenth Amendment. So we must have a classification that follows the portion of the First Amendment (prohibiting the free exercise thereof), except where a religion is found to be the source of terrorism and terroristic acts.

Poor Al-Fayed! “Al-Fayed later revealed in an interview that he decided to sell Harrods following the difficulty in getting his dividend approved by the trustee of the Harrods pension fund. Al-Fayed said “I’m here every day, I can’t take my profit because I have to take a permission of those bloody idiots…I say is this right? Is this logic? Somebody like me? I run a business and I need to take bloody fucking trustee’s permission to take my profit.”[12] Al-Fayed was appointed honorary chairman of Harrods, a position he will hold for at least six months.”

There you are, British jihadwatchers. There are at least two people speaking up: Baroness Cox and Simon Cobbs of Sussex Friends of Israel.
Get with them. Get behind them. Help them to give this idea **teeth**.
Further: time to start thinking about past precedents. What happened to liquid and illiquid enemy-owned assets, within the UK or within the USA, when those countries entered World War II??
The Enemy should not have been allowed to buy up huge chunks of the dar al Harb, in the first place. He – the Enemy, the Mohammedan Mob – *was* allowed; because too many people didn’t recognise that he *was* the Enemy.
But once he *is* recognised as such, then …by analogy with what has happened in other wars, I don’t see why the openly declared and manifested Enemy should get to *keep* those assets, or to continue to do business unimpeded.
