Video: Robert Spencer on Fox’s Cavuto show on Saudi Mufti’s claim that Twitter is “evil” and the denial of the jihad threat
Last night, live on Fox Business’ Cavuto show with host Neil Cavuto.
Ed says
Always good to see you interviewed in the media.
Champ says
Yes, this interview with Robert was great …
And Robert is right, what the mufti is really objecting to–about Twitter, is the ugly truth about islam getting out there. The ugly truth is that islam practices stoning & beheading, etc., and the word getting out there, that islam practices these heinous crimes, *slanders* islam. The mufti really wants to silence the TRUTH!
EYESOPEN says
You are correct Champ. They have no qualms whatsoever about doing the ugly deeds of pislam – only about the world at large learning about them.
The reason the truth “makes izlam look bad” is because it IS bad!
Ed says
The truth makes it so much harder to impose caliphate over the infidels.
Champ says
Exactly, EYESOPEN!
Champ says
A top muslim cleric, from Saudi Arabia, is saying that Twitter is evil and a source of all lies? How ironic!
Champ says
Twitter isn’t evil …
“For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come–sexual immorality, theft, murder,” — Mark 7:21
Jay Boo says
The accused sinner is bound and wrapped just right,
like a “GIFT” offered to Allah, yet each grip claims the price.
Satan’s sacrifice is lowered to elevate their pit’s veiled sin,
as if, honor might rise unaware of what they truly intend.
The first rock procured becomes seduced by a Quran’s deadly embrace.
Her final breath assured when both weapons are fondled with eager disgrace.
The first stone condemns, as remnants of truth remain silenced and bound.
A knowing hush submits, freeing the others to convict with each hideous sound.
Faith diseased, the tulip crafted from within sprouts a demonic weed
Haunting screams cry unheard in the vast emptiness of Islam’s vile creed.
Morgan H says
At first I didn’t even notice that it was a poem (which is a credit to its quality, I think) and when I did and really paid attention, I was impressed. The sexual theme was right on, I think – there is something sexual (though twisted and obscene) in the mindless, animal frenzy with which they do their disgusting deed.
Jay Boo says
No sexual theme intended.
I merely wish to point out the duplicity of Muslims who put on a grand show in order to excuse the many sins of Islam.
Islam is truly shameless.
Aussie Infidel says
JB, Good one!
Most people simply do not understand the Muslim mindset. Muslims are simply acting out the unconscious memories, learnings and behaviors, accumulated over a lifetime of involvement with this pernicious ideology.
We are all creatures of our nature and nurture. In the West, we are brought up to live by the Golden Rule – even if some of us don’t. But in Islam, there is no Golden Rule, so Muslims are the products of the most dysfunctional, misogynistic and violent culture on Earth.
How could it be any other way? Muslims have been conditioned by all the commandments in the Quran and other Islamic scriptures, which preach hatred of Jews, Christians and other unbelievers – and to believe that jihadist violence against kaffirs, is justified and good. They are simply following the dictates of their warlord prophet Muhammad. And even though he was a narcissistic sociopath, Muslims are still taught to revere him, as if the sun shines out of his arse.
Such is the power of religious indoctrination, Arab tribalism and hero worship.
Jaladhi says
Great interview and explanation of this muftis opposition to to Twitter. This scum bag is not objecting to the stoning murder of a woman by her own father since it is in accordance with barbaric Islamic law but he is objecting to its publicity by Twitter.
Muslims cannot stand the truth about their religion and they always lie about it!!
R Cole says
Truths they don’t want known ~ can also be used to define Islamophobia.
That is how even ex-Muslims along with Islam’s western critics can be called the same.
Islamophobia has nothing to do with accuracy or truth about Islam.
It is just what furthers Islamic interests [here in the west] and what does not.
For this reason the term has never been clearly defined.
Don McKellar says
The Mufti hates Twitter for the same reason Reza Asslan hates Jihadwatch.
Champ says
Exactly, Don!
KrazyKafir says
Cavuto asks a question and then wisely gives Robert enough time to properly answer. Too bad the segment was only 3 minutes. How can America learn the truth about the most dangerous threat America has ever faced this way? But, kudos to Mr. Cavuto for not being intimidated by the stealth Islamists and liberals.
Bezelel says
Now I have to admit that Cavuto does have some redeeming qualities for giving Robert some air time. I hope it’s a trend. islame does have a veil mentality. Roaches hate the light.
John 3:20~21 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. [3] 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
Balzak says
Saudi Prince Walid bin Talal has a $300 million stake in the Twitter.
sheik yermami says
Good on Cavuto to give you airtime! The times they are a’changing!
dumbledoresarmy says
American jihadwatchers who saw this, and anyone else who watches Fox: the thing to do now is to write or email Mr Cavuto ASAP and express hearty appreciation for his having consulted Robert Spencer. This is particularly important because Cavuto – and Fox generally – may well get negative feedback from Muslims and dhimmis, re this particular broadcast conversation; the aim should therefore be to send in so much “Love Mail” that it drowns out the Hate Mail.
If Fox gets tons of appreciative viewer feedback for something, they will likely consider doing more of whatever it was.
If they think they will get increased customer loyalty – and perhaps *new* customers and advertisers because of satisfied customers doing “word of mouth” – by giving Mr Spencer airtime, they may give him *more* airtime.
Fr. Basil says
Haven’t mahometan jihadistas frequently used Twitter and other social media to spread their message?
(Question: If fans of the Grateful Dead are Deadheads, are fans of Twitter Twits?)
pumbar says
More alarmingly, if fans of the Grateful dead are deadheads what about people who like Dick van Dyke??
Lee says
Mr.Spencer did a great job in such a short period of time, and with Geert Wilders he’s probably the greatest voice speaking for human civilization. If I can make a suggestion (easy from my anonymous chair), I think *if possible* it would be great to demand Muslim groups condemn *Muhammad’s actions* where these actions inspire copycat crimes.
So for example in the case of ISIS stoning that woman to death “CAIR and other Muslim groups must publicly renounce Muhammad’s stoning of women and men to death.”
“It is easy to make general condemnations along the lines that ISIS is giving Islam a bad name. We all know it hurts the spread of Islam. But we need Muslim groups to specifically DENOUNCE Muhammad’s actions that mirror precisely the crimes ISIS, Boko Haram, al-Shabaab, etc commit.”
If CAIR etc refuse to denounce Muhammad’s stoning of women to death, then they’re publicly exposed as the criminal-inciting scum they really are.
