Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Video: Robert Spencer on Hannity Show on Oklahoma beheader’s mosque

Oct 6, 2014 11:43 pm By Robert Spencer

Tonight on Fox, along with Noor, a former Muslim and former member of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, the beheader’s mosque.

I broke the story about the mosque’s teachings here.

We saw it live. It was SO good to see you back on prime time! Does this mean you have been ‘rehabilitated’? I do hope so. Also, what a good witness “Noor” is; cool calm and clear.

At first it looked like Robert wasn’t even going to get any time on the show. And while it did prove to be an incredibly brief appearance, he packed in A LOT!

I especially liked that Hannity emphasized Robert’s excellent question, “why is the president sending a ‘thank you letter’ to the mosque, rather than a terrorism investigation team”?!

Always good to see the truth about Islam go mainstream, especially when it’s from the Indispensable Robert Spencer. Next, Rush Limbaugh has to concede that he doesn’t know the truth about Islam and Jihad and have you on. And Mark Levin, and…..

      Oct 7, 2014 at 7:56 am

Mark Levin is recently syndicated here in our area. I’ve not heard him yet on Islam. I hope he is more up to speed than Limbaugh. Along with his support for Bush’s lies about Israel and Islam, etc., Rush Limbaugh supported the Dubai Ports buyout during the Bush years.

I don’t think it has anything to do with being up to speed on islam. I think they are both afraid to tell the truth about islam.

The problem with the Dubai port deal was the fact there are only four company’s that can run a sea port. One from China, The Netherlands, Dubai, and that which is evil in incarnate Halliburton. Can you imagine the sh** storm that would have come down if Halliburton had been picked.

The networks have finally realized they NEED ACCURATE INFORMATION about Islam from REAL EXPERTS!

Well done! I complement the editors and Mr. Hannity for their good sense in calling Mr. Spencer.

Mr. Spencer is a REAL EXPERT on Islamic doctrines, especially on jihad and Islamic historicity.

As I’ve always said: Ex-Muslims are our best allies. Islam will be destroyed from within. Muslims need to know the truth about their religion and their prophet. That’s how they’ll turn away from Islam, that’s how they will destroy Islam.
They need our help, they need Truth and Protection.

Agree with both Salah and Tim.

But how do we increase the credibility of ex-Muslims? To us, it is obvious they know more about this Death Cult than even practicing Muslims! But journalists look at them with suspicion. We need to find the reason for that and change it.

You think journalists would have SYMPATHY with someone (an ex-Muslim) who has just become MORE RATIONAL by running from a predatory, backward, medieval theocracy!

I’m grateful to Robert Spencer, Sean Hannity, and “Noor” for speaking the plain and obvious truth. How is it that our leadership can classify this as workplace violence? What is wrong with our leader? Why won’t they confront this issue? I am much less scared of Islamist violence than I am of our government’s denial.

    • steakman says

      Oct 8, 2014 at 2:17 pm

You ask why and how is it they classffied this as “workplace violence”. Anything to deflect blame away fromt he TRUE reason…ISLAM and its demands. One must understand that there are many Islamic voices within the Government and many in very high places wispering into ears. True Taqiya…

I am reminded of the Lord of the Rings when King Theodin is under the spell of the same sort of “taqiya”…whisperings of defeat and accomodation and non offense to those that stand to gain.

Identical scenario…although I have come to strongly suspect the POTUS is himself a closet Muslim.

Take a look at the background beginning at 6:34. There is a building that seems to be labeled ” CIGAR FACTORY”. Combining this with the blue round emblem (a face?) at the top of the foreground building, Google Street Views might be able to pinpoint this location in Undisclosed Locationville.

  9. Don McKellar says

    Oct 7, 2014 at 1:29 am

Excellent the way you made your power points through a few bits where Hannity did his usual interupting. But then Hannity stopped himself and seemed to realize how powerful your points were. “Noor” was also very good — solid points, plainly told with context.

An interview like this, a decade or two ago, would have caused a firestorm and congressional hearings about what is going on with this administration who has hamstringed the FBI from investigating properly, and the timing of the personal Obama letter. But in our insane times, probably very little will happen.

  10. Desi says

    Oct 7, 2014 at 1:36 am

In a small developed south-east asian country ,there would be secret police recording inflammatory speeches in religious institutions (i.e temples, mosques and churches ) to weed out the bad guys who want to destroy the peace and harmony of it’s people. A late South African Islamic preacher had to leave the country for doing so many years ago.

    • Tim says

      Oct 7, 2014 at 7:08 am

The problem with these Asian countries is that corruption is rampant making it easy to ruin intelligence operations, and funding shortages blocks them from being more efficient. Being removed from the ridiculous Western human rights laws, they would be really successful weeding out all nasty Muslim elements. Instead, they are subject to endless attacks.

Only in America today with a former Moslem president would there be any discussion or ‘controversy’ over a Moslem convert, steeped in Koranic hatred, learnt at his local mosque, beheading a woman while screaming Moslem hate speech. Islam is Islam. What is there to discuss? This man was just doing his Sharia-Koranic-cult of Muhammad-duty and will in his mind, go to the Moslem heaven, a place reserved only for men and their concubines and young boys.

Wonderful interview!! I couldn’t see it last night, so THANKS for posting it here.

Noor is a very brave man. Maybe he will be an encouragement to others who are willing to report what is actually going on in the mosques here in the U.S. It says a lot about the religion of Islam that a person has to hide their identity for fear of retaliation for speaking out.

Wish the interview could have been longer with you (Robert Spencer) speaking.

Good question! — Just WHY isn’t the federal government checking out this mosque’s teachings? (along with all the other mosques in the U.S.). I think we know the answer.

I saw this show and think that Robert was not given enough time to expose Islamic texts. He patiently waited for his turn without butting in. But anyway it is good that Robert was invited. Hannity’s usual is to invite a Bangladeshi Muslim who is peddling the usual lies and Hannity keeps on egging him with “your religion is hijacked by theses ISIS extremists”. It is always the extremists who highjack Islam and give it a bad name. He doesn’t consider the possibility that its Islam itself that is teachibg these ISIS guys to invade, kill, murder, rape, enslave, etc, etc, – perfectly emulating their god Mo/allah!!

I hope Robert is invited Hannity to straighten him out!!

    Listen to this:
Whenever any religion is introduced to a cultural group it is superimposed over a vast set of cultural norms and expectations. It is called syncretism. Affleck’s points were valid. Indonesian Islam is different from Saudi Islam; the same that American Christianity is different from Korean Christianity. Rezi Alsan tries to make this point in his interview. People also bring their own set of values according to their personality and character; a violent man will do violence whether he is Christian or Muslim. Alsan is an academic and I have done academic studies and research in this field.

I clicked on the link, pumbar, but couldn’t find what you quoted. Who said it ? Sorry if I’m being dim.

In any case, whoever said it, it is patently untrue.

*Wherever* sharia holds sway, it operates in exactly the same way. And whatever *superficial* differences may exist in various countries where there is a significant percentage of mhammedans, the basic MO remains the same; stealth jihad, veiled threats, then overt threats, then violent jihad.

And of course, the perennial whines of victimhood, and the rhetoric of all vicious and violent abusers everywhere ; “look what you made me do.”

      ………………………………………..

Not really, Pumbar—Saudi Arabia just applies Islam more vigorously over all than does Indonesia, but only because the influence of Islam in Indonesia is somewhat blunted by non-Muslim influences—Hindus, Christians, animists, the Chinese.

But where Indonesia *does* apply Islam vigorously—in Aceh, which is under Shari’ah law—it is virtually indistinguishable from the Shari’ah of Saudi Arabia, despite being thousands of miles away and ethnically quite different.

Aceh sharply curtails freedom, bans any criticism of Islam, enforces veiling, oppresses non-Muslims, flogs victims, and now has stoning on the books. Saudi Arabia is little different.

But why not? The Qur’an, the Hadith, the Sira, and the model of the “Prophet” are *exactly* the same.

      Islam itself is *not* different.

And while it matters little, since it presents no threat, Christianity is not that different in the US and Korea, either. There is a Korean-American church just blocks from where I live, which is also my polling place. Style and emphasis may be a bit different, but it is all the same faith.

      More:

Rezi (sic) Alsan tries to make this point in his interview. People also bring their own set of values according to their personality and character; a violent man will do violence whether he is Christian or Muslim. Alsan is an academic and I have done academic studies and research in this field.
      ………………………………………..

Pumbar, Reza Aslan is a shill for *the Islamic Republic of Iran*. Jihad Watch has covered this vile Taqiyya artist many times.

Here’s a salient piece from just a few days ago on the very story covered above:

“Reza Aslan excoriates Bill Maher’s “bigotry,” offers half-truths and deceptions on Islam”

      http://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/10/reza-aslan-excoriates-bill-mahers-bigotry-offers-half-truths-and-deceptions-on-islam

      And here’s more ugliness:

“Reza Aslan comes out strong for Hamas”

      ttp://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/08/reza-aslan-comes-out-strong-for-hamas

“Reza Aslan: Egypt should surrender to the Muslim Brotherhood — or else”

      http://www.jihadwatch.org/2014/02/reza-aslan-egypt-should-surrender-to-the-muslim-brotherhood-or-else

Lots more nastiness on Reza Aslan in the JW archives.

Moreover, it should be noted that despite the superficial differences between Shia Islam and the Sunni variety, that Iran is *exactly* the same sort of Shari’ah hell hole that Saudi Arabia and Aceh are—where victims are imprisoned for “blasphemy”, veiling is enforced, victims are flogged for singing, and women are stoned to death.

And it is not true that Christians and Muslims are equally apt to be violent. Muslims make up a percentage of the prison population in the West out of all proportion to their numbers in society.

To assume that being a follower of a violent creed would have no effect on a person’s behavior simply makes no sense.

Great to see Robert on Hannity! Very refreshing to hear some unfiltered truth about islam leak through the mainstream news.
Robert, Michael Savage is someone who is speaking a lot about islam on his show, which has a huge audience. He seems much more honest and up to speed about islam than any of the others who are main stream. He has even mentioned you on his show. He’s also had Walid Shobat on his show numerous times.
Anyway, great to see you on Hannity as he (and his viewers, I’m assuming), need some educating about islam. Who better than Robert Spencer to enlighten them? None!

Glad it was aired but 8 minutes for this important story is far too little.

Robert is factual and straight forward, we need to see his information on the MSM.

Educating people about Islam and what is really going on in all these mosques is the first step towards realism and reformation.

A thank you note from the President to the mosque a few days after a beheading by a mosque member – unbelievable!

I wonder why Hannity likes to interview Rand Paul, son of Ron Paul on his radio program. Rand Paul believes we can “contain” a nuclear armed Iran. Why doesn’t Hannity bring Republicans who do not support a nuclear Iran on his program?

    • Alarmed Pig Farmer says

      Oct 7, 2014 at 5:39 pm

Because he does softball interviews with prominent Republicans, and Hannity’s the guy who swears he’s a conservative who’s close to giving up on the RINO party. As usual, it’s about the questions not asked and the answers not given to the unasked questions. Usually that defines the story, or the low quality of it.

This is how “narratives” are maintained. Not too many decades ago reporting was all about the facts, now it’s about narratives.

I see where Homeland was attacked today by the WaPo as “bigoted” for its uflattering presentation of Moslems in episodes set in the Middle East and in Pakistan. I’ve always thought the show was fair in its representations of Moslems, but don’t watch it much because it like the rest carefully avoids the heart of Islam, the facts of it. That a show like that, a relative softball drama around Moslems, comes under attack by a major newspaper tells you how far decoupled from reality the MSM has become, which means the same for unquestioning MSM watchers.

  32. Alarmed Pig Farmer says

It turns my stomach to see the smiling face of Spencer hovering atop the banner “Rise of Radical Islam.” I like seeing him of course, although of late I wince when I do cuz the sad thought of the Copts always pops into my mind now… but can someone tell me how the New Caliphate and its many brethren outfits depart from the basics of Islam, or how they in any way propose revolutionary change to the belief system?

Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, Osama bin Laden, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei other Moslem activists are in no way radical, they are just that: activists. They are acting on the commands of the Holy Ko-Ran and the lessons of the Hal-Deaths, and of course there is a strong mapping between the two and what we get from these people nowadays.

Conceding to fairy dust terms like Radical Islam implies to the public that there are robust herds of Unicorns out there, galloping forward, along the trail blazed by Locke, Madison and Jefferson.
