“Australian Jihadis ‘Too Fat For ISIS,'” by Andre Walker, Breitbart, November 17, 2014:

Two Australian jihadis are reported to have been told they were too fat to join the ranks of ISIS terrorists. The 22-stone brothers are said to have gone to Syria whilst claiming to their parents they were heading for a holiday in Thailand.

They travelled from Western Sydney with two less rotund friends, according to the Australian Muslim leader Dr Jamal Rifi. The brothers are believed to have appeared in a video in which they literally attempt to jump through hoops to improve their fitness.

Dr Rifi described the pair as “obese” and “unfit”. He told the Metro: “They’re definitely not fit to fight, they don’t have any knowledge of how to fight”. He said they were too “unfit to run in a field”.

“They didn’t show any signs of radicalisation. They were good boys, which is why their mother is so shocked.”

Despite the amusing problem faced by the brothers, they do form part of a growing group of Westerners committed to the violent struggle. A number of European Union nationals are believed to have appeared in the video of the murder of Peter Kessig, which appeared over the weekend.

The group were led by ‘Jihad John’ who never appears without covering his face, but his accent has led most observers to conclude he is from London.

No it wasn’t 2 brothers it was 4 brothers that said to their parents that they are going for a sex romp to Thailand and instead they went for jihad for Islamic state and then they sms their mother and said “see you in paradise” we are in Syria about to join IS. Their mother and their doctor said that 2 of the brothers are that overweight that they couldn’t even walk 100 meters so how are they going to be able to fight for IS. That is the story and for all we hope for is that they end up as target practice for another AK47. These are the desperates that are recruited for Islamic state. Thank god that we got rid of these 4 and I hope that many many more will join them so that we can get rid of all these lowlifes out of our beautiful Australia.

    • Have you ever noticed that even in the West, any muslima over the age of 25 is overweight? I speculate that it is related to the restrictions placed on them by their kindly male counterparts in regard to their activities (ever see one at the gym or out jogging?) and clothing (who’d want to try swimming in those idiotic swim-burkas of theirs anyway?)

  9. Dr Jamal Rifi; everyone’s favourite “moderate Muslim” in Australia. He’s so moderate he has received death threats! We all adore him!!
    But wait…he equates counter-jihad behaviour (“racism”) with jihad.
    “We feel,” he oils, “the Australian Muslim community, the broader Australian community [that’s not you and I, folks] and the federal government are on one side, and extremism and racism are on the other.”
    And from his dutiful wife, as sweet as pie:

    One of their kids is named “Jihad”. So is the headmaster at the school he attends. They are “inner struggle” people.
    No doubt there is great need for inner struggle in a land with so many “racists”.

    As long as you are not a christian,or jew ,or Hindhu or Bhuddist or whatever else is not muslim,or gay or female or muslim of that group that is not ruling the country and belong to the tribe that is currently controlling the country they will treat you with respect and kindness.

    Why in the world would a writer from the UK use the Imperial system? He is certainly not writing for an audience in the U.S.A.. We use Imperial, but do not bother with the unit “stone”

    Are you from the UK? Why is he not converting it to metric?

    • A lot of people in the UK still weigh themselves in stones (unlike muslims who wipe their bottoms with them), we also use feet and inches for height and miles to measure distance.

  15. We can have a new reality TV show called the biggest jihadist loser. Instead of competitions involving losing weight by engaging in physical exercise we can have competitions where they dodge laser guided munitions dropped by the U.S air force, and dodge sniper fire from U.S marines and special operations people. I think it would be a real hit, and this jihadist exercise program is a surefire way to burn off extra weight.
