A mosque? What’s that? A mosque full of misunderstanders of Islam who somehow got the crazy idea that the Islamic State had something to do with Islam? Has John Kerry or David Cameron heard about this? “Bulgarian mosque raided in jihad incitement probe,” AFP, November 25, 2014:
Bulgarian authorities raided a mosque in the south of the country Tuesday as part of a probe into a local Muslim leader for terrorism and incitement to war.
Television footage showed police detaining Ahmed Mussa Ahmed, a Roma imam from the southern town of Pazardzhik, who has already been repeatedly condemned for spreading radical ideology.
Public BNR radio said at least four other members of Pazardzhik’s Muslim community were also arrested.
Bulgarian state prosecutors said they had launched a joint operation with the interior ministry and the agency for national security “as part of a pre-trial investigation into terrorism and incitement to war.”
They did not comment on possible arrests but said 40 addresses in the southern towns of Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Smolyan, Asenovgrad and Haskovo had been searched.
Ahmed was sentenced in a high-profile trial in March to one year in prison for promoting radical ideology in mosques, conferences and cafes between March 2008 and October 2010.
He also received a three-year term for violating his probation on a previous sentence for spreading radical Islam, but remained free pending appeal.
Media reports said the new probe was based on pictures and videos posted on Facebook showing members of the tight-knit Roma Muslim community posing in T-shirts and baseball caps sporting symbols of the Islamic State group.
The videos, which have since been taken down, reportedly praised the Islamic State jihadists in Syria and urged an Islamic war there….

It absutely does not matter wether the male muslim is albanian, african, persian, indian, chinese or caucasian or even rome.
The muslim will always behave the same way.
The “big” secret behind islam that causes such behaviour is not just the umma, the jihad and the violence in quran & hadith(which make god looks like an insane egomanic sociopath).
One main driving force to establish such behaviour is gender-apartheid.
Women in society are important to balance male behaviour in a positive way.
A positive male behaviour(+integrity) is the worst obstacle in a religion of war.
Therefore women were removed and male behaviour degenrated+ an unnatural social climate is created by homosexualising society(gender apartheid = homosexualisation).
A homosexualised male dominated society leeds instantly towards male supremacy and selfworship.
And it is getting even more aggressiv if homosexual behaviour is surpressed.= being homosexual
in a homosexual society while homosexual (sex)tendencies are discriminated will lead to even more radical behaviour= gay muslims will tend to be the most aggressiv+ perversion will be the result(eg .
massive male child abuse or the dancing boy culture=male children forced to dress like females and forced to dance in front of a crowd of male people)

I’m not on to normally do this, but in this situation I feel I have to go grammar nazi on you.
What a petty stupid you are? Before you insult someones intelligence please make sure you can at least complete a proper sentence. This is your humble grammar Nazi signing off. You made me go there, and I hate going there, since the grammar Nazi people I normally can’t stand. To think I stooped to such a low point in my internet career. Falsafa says
“….they (Mosques) should all be levelled”
with such sweeping generalizations what would actually differentiate you from ISIS? Nothing in my view. I think ISIS is doing the same to all non Sunni places of worship in the areas they occupy – churches and mosques included.

Is it a generalization to say that Muslims slaughter people? Is it a generalization to say that the Koran demands violence? Is it a generalization to say that mosques teach the Koran?
Mosques should be LEVELED indeed, That as a start. Next, we should impose a ban on Islam in all civilized countries,

So, Falsafa, you can’t rebut what he said, can you?

Your own ‘leader’ has stated the function of mosques.
Yes, all your mosques should be levelled, because they are **not** places of worship, but exactly what your own President designates them as.
Or are you now going to tell us that Erdogan was quoted ‘out of context’, and what he said isn’t actually what he meant. We are not as stupid as you think.
So, come on, Falsafa. I **dare** you to try and whitewash, obfuscate, and re-write what your President is on record as saying, about the role of mosques. And then try and sell us on the idea that mosques are entirely benignant. Waiting.
“…impose a ban on Islam in all countries”
with such blatantly bigoted comments … ”
Nothing bigoted about refusing to allow mohammedans to gradually murder us all. It’s simple self-preservation.
What you would like, is for us all to simply roll over and present our necks to the sword. Not going to happen.
“The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…”
―Recep Tayyip Erdogan
Falsafa says
Mirren10; Erdogan mispoke when he made that comment you’ve quote. He is a politician and at the time when he made that speech he was desperate for the right wing, conservative vote which was divided between three center right and a nationalist party. I think that the time he served in prison for those comments must have made him realize that he should from then on take a more secular stance in his political discourse. Mixing any religion with politics is a recipe for disaster.
I would invite you to Konya, one of the most conservative parts of the country whereupon I would expect that this perception you seem to have of Islam, violence, hatred would be replaced with the sheer beauty of Islam from a Sufi perspective.

“Gökalp’s “Soldier’s Prayer’s” first stanza translates as follows:
‘Holding my rifle in my hand, keeping my faith in my heart I wish two things: The faith and the homeland My home is the army, my sovereign is the Sultan Strengthen my Sultan, Almighty Give him long life, Almighty Our journey is our victory, the end is martyrdom.’
The poem Erdogan recited went as follows:
‘The minarets are our bayonets; the domes are our helmets Mosques are our barracks, the believers are soldiers This holy army guards my religion Almighty Our journey is our destiny, the end is martyrdom.'”
From: http://www.eurozine.com/articles/2003-10-16-senyener-en.html
Secular? Atatürk is turning in his grave. Erdogan continues to build a Turkish Military Industrial Complex – like the West, (but currently smaller), but, at the same time he is working on turning the clock back 1400 years and aping his arab caravan bandit conquerors. Like most supremacist moslem men, he thinks that they cannot keep their lecherous paws off ‘uncovered meat’. Instead of providing ‘blinkers’ (US ‘blinders’?) and ultra dark glasses for the pervs, he wants to see all women perambulate in their own portable beach tent.
“Mixing any religion with politics is a recipe for disaster.”
You have just described islam, and quite succinctly.

Such venting as Jeff is doing does not represent most of North Americans who love tolerance and democracy. Unlike Jeff, 99% of us are not fascists. Muslims believe an unhistorical, primitive, violent fantasy of world conquest by Arabs, but the way to dissuade them from it is by deprogramming them, not violence. Unfortunately, most Muslims don’t understand freedom of speech. They want blasphemy laws to protect Islam from analysis, but that would lead to theocratic dictatorship as there is in every Muslim country. Freedom of speech means the freedom to criticize Islam.
mortimer says
‘Beauty of Islam’? You mean of ‘beauty of Sufism’. Let’s examine the facts, Falsafa.
Far from being examples of ‘peaceful Islam’, Sufis have been active participants and preachers of violent jihad for 1000 years, tyrannizing the kafirs under Muslim occupation.
-Theologian Al-Ghazali (d. 1111), was a paragon of mystical Sufism. He wrote the following about jihad: Everyone must go on jihad at least once a year…one may use a catapult against them [non-Muslims] when they are in a fortress, even if among them are women and children. One may set fire to them and/or drown them…If a person of the Ahl al-Kitab [people of The Book – Jews and Christians] is enslaved, his marriage is [automatically] revoked, and his wife becomes the rightful property of a Muslim. One may cut down their trees…One must destroy their useless books. Jihadis may take as booty whatever they decide…the Jihadis may steal as much food as they need…”
-Fanatic Sufi master Shaykh Ahmad Sirhindi (1564-1624) initiated a bloody Sunni revival in India, demanding full Sharia implemented through the sword. He wrote, “The honour of Islam lies in insulting kufr (unbelief) and the kafirs (unbelievers). One who respects the kafirs dishonours the Muslims…They should be kept at an arms length like dogs…The real purpose of levying the jizya on them is to humiliate them to such an extent that, on account of fear of jizya, they may not be able to dress well and to live in grandeur. They should constantly remain terrified and trembling. It is intended to hold them under contempt and to uphold the honour and might of Islam”. He also wrote, “Whenever a Jew is killed it is for the benefit of Islam.”
The famous Sufis of India invariably supported violent jihad to make Islam victorious.
-Sayyid Ahmad Barelwi in British India (1786-1831) aimed to purify Indian Islam and Sufism He declared India a land of unbelief, ‘house of war’, encouraging migration to Northern India and preparation for jihad. In 1826 he launched a jihad against the Sikh kingdom of Ranjit Singh in Punjab. He died in battle against the Sikha at Balakot in 1831.
-The Committee of Union and Progress in Turkey had many Sufis who took part in the Armenian, Assyrian, Chaldean, Nestorian and Pontian Greek genocides. They massacred these innocent humans with pleasure for the benefit of Turkish nationalism and glory of Islam, as well as looting their property and enslaving their females.
-Muslim Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna was greatly influenced by the Sufis, and prescribed Sufi spiritual exercises for the early Muslim Brothers.
– The Naqshbandi Order of Sufi Islam fought Americans and their Coalition in Iraq.
-Mumtaz Qadri, the self-confessed killer of Pakistani Governor Salmaan Taseer , was Sufi. He killed Taseer because he had suggested removing Pakistan’s blasphemy laws.
-Respected Sufi imam Nazeem Kibrisi preached violent jihad and stealth jihad.
The beauty of Islam…Sufism.
mortimer says
Falsafa, your Sufi friends are supremacists.
Nazeem Kibrisi in 1994, gave a Hitler-like speech in Belgium which was met with raucous approval, while seated in the front row was none other than Erdogan, also a Sufi. Kibrisi said the Ottomans will “make the world tremble again” while calling for the return of that empire, saying that the “unbelievers will be brought down to their knees”.
Beauty.

I don’t understand, when so many people here are on the same page, and you call that comment ‘venting’, then you call Jeff a fascist?
I vent too, as do many commenters here, knowing full well that their ideal will NOT become reality. I would like ‘us’ here to try to support each other. If a comment is seen as possibly offensive, ask for clarification – as Wellington did for a flippant quickie comment of mine.
Jeff didn’t call for any bodily harm, but I’m only dealing with this remark. I don’t know if he has made other remarks which would warrant your description.
My own vent: If every mosque (save a few architectural wonders like the Taj Mahal) were to vanish tomorrow, that would seem like a most wondrous event. But then the worshippers of mo would go on a rampage against all and sundry, in an episode fit for the “Arabian Nights”.
If every moslem vanished at the same time, maybe 70% of world terrorism would vanish too. We could go back to checking in at airports 30 minutes before a flight, some of us just five minutes before departure. I think the world would save hundreds of billions of dollars annually, including people’s wasted time.
There would be losses, moslem doctors and nurses in western hospitals, but some of the horror stories I have read about hijabs/bare arms and hygiene would ‘mitigate’ that loss.
Foreign workers would have to take over oil production in countries like Saudi Arabia…
“…most of North Americans who love tolerance and democracy…”
Tolerating the intolerant just doesn’t work. If becoming intolerant of ‘the intolerant’ makes us intolerant too, that may be the price. ‘They’ have shown utterly no restriction or inhibition in their treatment of any they can overcome, even their own kind.
I’m not sure what kind of democracy America has, when one intolerant cult is not just allowed to flourish but seems to receive extraordinary protection and special treatment, as it gnaws away at the Constitution day by day, absolutely aided and abetted by Holder and obuMBoy.
Falsafa says
I think it would be quite wrong to assert as you have done that muslims are against free speech and nurture fanatasies of world conquest. Issues, problems should be discussed and debated openly and objectively. We should though not confuse free speech though with defamation and insults. Treat others as how you would like to be treated should be the overarching principle. I am sure you would agree that we need more dialogue and less shouting and talking over each other. I think no one has the right to shout “fire” in a crowded theatre, wouldnt you agree?
The examples of relative intolerance you cite in the middle ages and up to the 18th century must be seen in the geo political context at the time…in times of religiously inspired wars and colonialism. With regards to the turbulent years of the end of the Ottoman Empire whilst the forced migrations and population exchanges at the end of ww1 was unfortunate and should nt be glorified they were basically a struggle for survival. A 1 minute response by historian Bernard Lews to the question of whether a genocide was committed against Armenians on youtube summarizes the view of objective historians on the matter. The poem quoted by Erdogan was originally written in this context…not to incute religious hatred but as a rallying cry against colonialism by western industrialized powers…using traditonal values to nurture a sense of identity and courage in the face of adversity and overwhelming odds.
I would also like to say that I welcome your comments Mortimer and respect your views and undestand your concerns given the unbelievable mess we are witnessing geopolitically ever since the end of the cold war.
Darren says
Part of the free speech concept you seemed to have missed out on, is that part of free speech is having the ability to say offensive things. Everyone will be offended by something.
Darren says
Also islam mixes politics with religion. I believe those much more educated on this subject matter than I stated it’s 80% politics and 20% religion. When you view islam you have to view it in a political light as well, since it isn’t just a religion based on spiritual principals. allah commanded muslims to wage war on non believers, you can’t debate this, it is fact. The founder of islam was a blood thirsty, slave owner, or participated in caravan raids, not a holy man. This man is considered the ideal man every good muslim should aspire to be like. This wasn’t a Jesus figure saying turn the other cheek either, muhammad was a warlord and a political leader, not some man in a robe preaching on a corner.
Falsafa says
Islam doen’t mix religion with politics, people mix religion with politics. Unfortunately when politicians use religion for power politics that is a degeneration of scripture.
Freedom to insult? yes that is a right more accepted for public figures than normal folk. no problem with that as one can easily discern valid criticism from slander, however do not forget that there are defamation laws even in the US as well. So there are limits imposed by common standards of decency. Critical debate and discussion?..We should be all for it.
Darren says
When a wolf comes baring it’s fangs at you, do you invite it over for dinner or try to defend yourself. You aren’t going to deprogram the overwhelming majority of these people, as much as you wish otherwise. A mosque is a forward operating base, and a place to recruit more soldiers.
albert says
There is really no valid reason for the existence of Islam, it is a bigoted, mysoginistic death cult which the world would be a far better place without, after all no one condemns the British for destroying the cult of the thuggee. Islam is no different from that evil sect.

Islam is destroyed a little bit every time a Muslim reads a website like this and cannot argue against Robert Spencer’s reasoning. And that happens every day.
This website and other counterjihad websites should be in the major languages of Muslims: Indonesian, Urdu and Arabic.
Darren says
As intelligent as you are, I think you are engaging in wishful thinking. The ideology wrapped up in a religion attracts the worst types of people like a flame attracts moths. It gives moral justification and rewards for acting like a savage beast. There is a certain appeal to to living the life of the warrior the also attracts many. The other sad fact of reality is power comes from the barrel of a gun and fear, always has, always will. I think Mr. Spencer’s site is a good resource for infidels to learn about islam, as are educated people like yourself, but even if his site is able to awaken a few people, they are the overwhelming minority, it is like making a sand castle wall trying to stop the tide from coming in.
Darren says
War is coming, I’d rather our side wins. You may not agree, but there are too many factors pointing to this end result. I know we are in the phase where awakening people and the right people is about all we can do at the moment, and statements like mine are actually counter productive, since then it allows the other side to point to people like me and say look see see look at what the extremists on the anti jihad side say, but I am simply stating reality. The time line is rather long, for now it will be a series of small wars and the continuation of stealth jihad and the expansion of no go zones, but this will increase and grow exponentially. I have never been one to turn away from the truth even if it was a dark one, knowing it despite how it makes me feel to me is better than living in blissful ignorance. Please tell me do you honestly believe we can actually win the war by just waking them up? When has this ever worked ever in history?
mortimer says
Bbbbbut Esposito says warfare against the disbelievers is not Islamic.
