Egypt minister says Zionists promoting atheism, homosexuality

They got rid of the Muslim Brotherhood regime. They didn’t get rid of the anti-Semitic conspiracy paranoia.

Egypt’s Religious Endowments Minister accused “Zionist forces” of promoting atheism and homosexuality in his country.

Speaking with Al-Hayat TV, an Evangelical Arabic-language television station, Mohammed Mokhtar Gomaa said “colonial Zionist forces” support “atheists and atheism and finance homosexuals and homosexuality” in an effort to fragment Egyptian society. The interview, which took place in September, was published Sunday by MEMRI, a Washington-based Middle Eastern media watchdog group.

Gomaa is a cabinet member in the Sissi government, which coordinates closely with Israel on security and economic issues.

The minister went on to criticize “Zionist forces” for undermining regional stability by means of “terrorism, of atheism, of nihilism, and of deviance. We must confront atheism, nihilism, homosexuality and moral depravity the same way we confront extremism and terrorism,” said Gomaa….

    “How do you explain the spread of atheism in our society?”

    Interesting question from a muslim. Rather the dispels the “fastest growing religion” myth.
    I know there are many on here who think think that Islam is winning, but in fact it’s collapsing in its heartlands.

    • Perhaps as more people become aware that there are other ways of life that allow for the enjoyment of being human, which islam abhors, and there are those who will fight for them and protect them, they will be leaving islam.

  9. Interesting about their stance on homosexuality, as it is prevalent in the muslim world. Old fags and young boys are well documented, as is the rape of ISIS recruits by their leaders. I believe this issue has been discussed by others in past threads, but needs to be kept in the forefront so it can be presented whenever one of these sanctimonious, inbred pouffs rails on against homosexuality.

        I don’t see anything wrong with criticizing zionists for things that they do wrong. I criticize america for things, and that doesn’t mean that I am against america- I love America! It’s okay to love a country, or someone, and still not be happy with some of the things that they do. I love Israel, but it doesn’t mean that I approve of everything that the liberals there do, and that’s okay.

    How about bestiality, a la Prophet of Islam–
