Islamic State announces beheadings for all who insult Allah

In any case, here again the Islamic State proves its extremism. The more moderate Sharia enforcers David Cameron and Theresa May will not behead you for insulting Allah; they will just take away your ability to broadcast, hold public assemblies, or write on the Internet.

“Islamic State Announces Beheadings for All Who Insult Allah: Syrian Observatory,” RIA Novosti, October 31, 2014 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

MOSCOW, October 31 (RIA Novosti) – Islamic State (IS) fighters have beheaded a man for allegedly working for Syrian President Bashar Assad and announced that all who insult Allah are to be executed, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Friday.

“Der-Ezzor province: ISIS executed a man from al-Mayadin city in al-Jerdaq yard, on the charge of working for Bashar al-Assad as a cop, and judged him with ‘al-Radda’,” the London-based observatory said on its official Facebook page.

“ISIS fighters have announced today that everyone [who] insults Allah will be executed and beheaded,” SOHR said.

The group is notoriously known for its extreme violence. Earlier, the IS released videos showing the executions of US and UK citizens. In addition, Algerian militants linked to the IS filmed the execution of a French national over Paris’ support for the US-led anti-IS airstrikes. On Sunday, Western media reported that a Russian citizen was shot to death by the jihadi group this spring….

        There is another option that needs no sacrifice of our own lives. Nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. Sad to say, but there is no hope for any innocents in the area that the new Caliphate controls. They already are, or soon will be dead or enslaved. Most rational humans agree that the use of nuclear weapons was justified to end the Japanese aggression and force their surrender. We are faced with an enemy even more despicable than them. We must not shed another drop of the precious blood of our sons and daughters in this futile war that our political leaders are doing everything to lose. And we must not let them consolidate power and bring the war to us. We must end them on their own accursed soil, or we condemn our civilization to death.

      • Forget boots on the ground. All we have to do is to stop feeding these monsters and before long they will be eating one another. ISIS cannot feed the territory it has conquered.

        But of course, feeding ISIS with US food assistance is our job as a ‘humanitarian gesture’. Obama and the State Department have already stated as much.

        Starving people will rise up against those who starve them. As long as we feed ISIS and its captive populations, it is beheadings and business as usual.

        Our leaders are a pathetic joke. Feed them so we can fight them? I think not.

      FIRST STEP IN YOUNG TURKS’ PROGRAM (1908-1911)
      TO COMPREHEND this narrative thoroughly, one must remember that the East is unchangeable. The Turks of to-day are precisely the same as those who followed Mohammed the Conqueror through the gates of Constantinople on May 29, 1453, and they have amply demonstrated that they do not differ from those whom Gladstone denounced for the Bulgarian atrocities of 1876. Those who are building hopes on any other conception will be deceived; they will be painfully deceived if they make treaties or invest large sums of money on Western ideas of the Oriental character.
      I am neither “pro-Greek,” “pro-Turk,” nor anything except pro-American and pro-Christ. Having passed the most of my life in regions where race feeling runs high, it has been my one aim to help the oppressed, irrespective of race, as will be shown by documents submitted later, and I have won the expressed gratitude of numerous Turks for the aid and relief I have afforded them on various occasions.
      I am aware of the many noble qualities of the Turkish peasant, but I do not agree with many precepts of his religion, and I do not admire him when he is cutting throats or violating Christian women.       At the time of the declaration of the constitution in 1908, I was in Athens. My first intimation of the event was a procession of Greeks carrying Hellenic and Ottoman flags, marching through the streets on their way to the Turkish legation, where they made a friendly and enthusiastic demonstration.
      The idea in Greece and the Balkans generally was that the constitution meant equal rights for all in Turkey, irrespective of religion—the dawn of a new era. Had this conception proved true, Turkey would to-day be one of the great, progressive, prosperous countries of the world. The weakness of the conception was that in an equal and friendly rivalry, the Christians would speedily have outstripped the Ottomans, who would soon have found themselves in a subordinate position commercially, industrially and economically. It was this knowledge which caused the Turks to resolve upon the extermination of the Christians. It was a reversal of the process of nature; the drones were about to kill off the working bees.

      So imminent and ever-present was the peril, and so fresh the memory of these dire events in the minds of the non-Mussulman subjects of the sultan, that illiterate Christian mothers had fallen into the habit of dating events as so many years before or after “such and such a massacre.”

      One of the victims in this article was executed merely for serving as a police officer when Assad was in power there.

      And we can see what is coming, if it is not already the case—that anyone opposing ISIS itself in any way will be see to be “insulting Allah”, as well.

      • This conversation reminds me of Elijah and the baal worshippers written about in 1Kings 18. Elijah challenged the baal worshippers…could have been labeled worshippers of satan…to produce proof of their god and his ability to answer their prayers. He said they should make their god an offering he couldn’t refuse.

        The baal guys built an altar, killed a young bull and called out for baal to accept the offer, but when there was no answer, Elijah mocked them saying: “”Call at the top of your voice, for he is a god, for he must be concerned with a matter, and he has excrement and has to go to the privy.         The baal guys kept calling at the top of their voices and cutting themselves as was their custom, with lances and daggers until blood flowed, and although they called all day, their false god never answered.

          I thought about that as I wrote, recalling when they were shown on tv so many years ago when some seemed glad that the U.S. military had intervened in Iraq. I think it was during the first Bush. The men were all in a frenzy, slashing themselves. Back then, I thought of this verse from 1Kings quoted above.
          Devil worship is devil worship no matter the century or location or what the worshippers call the personification and beginning of evil, that demon who is also called dragon and satan. That devil likes to see humans in pain.

      • The question raised by Color me Curious is the single most important question facing us today in the “battle space of the war of ideas” (in Frank Gaffney’s fine phrase — and that “battle space” is all over the world, from conferences in world capitals to debates on YouTube to arguments over the Thanksgiving dinner table (or in the back yard tossing the football around waiting for the turkey to finish cooking), to laundry rooms where you run into your neighbor to have a seemingly casual conversation about the problem of Islam; etc.).

        The actual problem of Islam (as opposed to artificial truncations of it that do not measure and assess the full horror of its dangerously metastasizing magnitude) continues to be denied, obfuscated, prevaricated, equivocated, whittled down to manageable size by our mainstream West (with the more or less unwitting and/or witless cooperation of millions of ordinary people swallowing & regurgitating various PC MC givens, bomides and axioms).

        And this actual problem of Islam necessarily includes the problem of Muslims.

        And this problem of Muslims has two features:

        1) it is systemic

        2) it is metastasizing.

        #1 means that it is much more broadly based than the TMOE Meme (the “Tiny Minority of Extremists”) tries to pretend it is.

        #2 means that the problem is getting worse — horribly, dangerous worse, with terror attacks worse than 911 in the offing unless we get our shit together.

        How to prove this — namely, that Muslims in general are the deadly problem — is the thorny difficulty, however, for all we have is a mountain of data and an ocean of dots that require connection. The good news is that anyone with a lick of sense can put two and two together once they acquaint themselves with the full horror & catastrophe of this data. The bad news is that there are too many sensible people in the West who let their PC MC worldview do their thinking for them, and they are so afraid of “racism” that they cannot logically think through what the mountain of data and ocean of dots means.

That is what ISIS is offering. Most Muslims have no philosophical differences with ISIS.

      Edison, you are right to be leery of whitewashed Qur’ans offered by Da’wa artists—although even these are completely appalling, and even with bowdlerized language condone horrors such as beheading Infidels and beating wives.

      Some of the solid translations include those by Arthur Arberry and N.J. Dawood. Arberry’s is considered the most scholarly, and Dawood’s the most accessible. It is published in paperback by Penguin and is widely available—it is the first translation I read.

      One of the most notable things is *how similar* all the respected translations are—the phrasing may be a bit varied, but the basic meanings do not change.

      One important thing to note: the Qur’an is not set up chronologically, but—as one might expect from a largely illiterate society—from longest Sura to shortest. Chronology is important, since earlier, somewhat less violent verses are abrogated by later, more violent ones.

      The penultimate Sura of the Qur’an, for instance, contains the vicious “Sura of the Sword”, Qur’an 9:5, which urges Muslims to slaughter Infidels “wherever they find them”.

      So I would recommend reading Robert Spencer’s excellent “Blogging the Qur’an” series, which you can find here:

      • @gravenimage, Thank you for the reply and very helpful advice. I have been doing some research, beginning with Islam 101, available from the JW website. I have ordered Robert Spencer’s book, The Infidels Guide to the Qur’an as well as looked at some literature explaining the Trilogy of theQur’an, the Sunna and Hadith.
        I realize now that the Qur’an, though important is only part of the overall picture of understanding Islam. Thanks again for the advice and the link,much appreciated.

          It’s *not* a pleasant read—but it is an important one.

          And the two most important collections of Hadith, considered “Sahih” (reliable) are by Bukhari and Muslim.

          More ugliness, I’m afraid.

          As for the Sunnah of Muhammed—also known as the Sira—I’d recommend going to the original sources, instead of whitewashed tripe like Muslim apologist Karen Armstrong’s hagiographical “biography” of Muhammed (this can be interesting reading in its own right—but as an example of Western appeasement and dhimmitude, *not* as an accurate indication of the “Prophet’s” life).

      The cursive styled script resembles the Arabic script on the Isis flag.
      in addition it appears to show ‘infidels’ being beheaded with the right side of script across their necks.

          The point I was trying to say that it resembles the Arabic script on the ISIS flag.

          My question is, does it have enough resemblance to the Arabic script to arose suspicion especially with the seeming graphic of beheading three characters or would you say it is probably more likely a mere coincidence.

          I suspect that this type of state government office is heavily staffed with Lefties and it could be just a graphic impulse to design the script in that style.
          Maybe I am over reacting.
          I saw a photo today in a magazine while shopping of Brad Pitt bowing and kissing the hand of Shia LaBeouf reminiscent of an Obama style move and I assumed it was a liberal knee-jerk impulse by Brad Pitt to pander because he heard the word Shia.

      • Jay Boo, there are a *lot* of things we have to worry about with appeasement and creeping Shari’ah—but with all due respect, I don’t believe this is one of them.

        I’m an illustrator and graphic artist, and I see a *lot* of really bad design out there.

        Big faceless government bureaucracies are always trying to look more accessible, and using script and stick-figure type elements are big faves. The result is seldom very good, and tends to look a lot like this.

        I believe the “tail” is intended to be a unifying element—and not a reference to beheading.

        That is one ugly, ugly, logo, though.

  22. Truly religious people do not go around in masks. Only the cowed and the cowardly evildoers are afraid to show their faces in public.

    Masks are the first sign of intimidation. No one in a democracy should be hiding their faces – no burkas or balaclavas. (A light scarf covering the hair is OK as long as we can see their eyes).

    The only blasphemies recognized in the West should be suppressing free speech, mistreatment of women and children, honor or apostate killings and the covering of facial features to prevent recognition.

    It wiped me clean of my foolishness of 24 years ago – I can attest to this experience by telling what I had to do, to accomplish this successfully! This is not a magical application, but a I consider it an ordination to create an enclosing sphere of spiritual protection that provides your resistance to the devil’s tactics. A real life active defense as well, to thwart off any type of daily challenges. I have been able to rely on this ordination to intercede for my entire family’s well being, especially for my children and their siblings. If intercession is possible, I would think we can interceded for those poor folks that are in harms ways while I type this comment.

    Just a thought: A true God does not kill, but He can certainly change the mindset of His creations. A true God answers the prayers of people of goodwill who have compassion towards the downtrodden.
