Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic State releases video showing beheading of US hostage Kassig

Nov 16, 2014 5:57 am By Robert Spencer

Kassig4The video is here. Warning: it is extremely graphic, and will not be up long. If you catch it while it is still up and want to skip the beheadings (there are many, not just of Kassig, then stop watching around the 9:30 mark, as the beheadings are shown in full, and then Kassig’s severed head at the feet of the British Muslim who issues the final warning. I put the link here because the video shows the Islamic State’s global aspirations, and how it justifies them by reference to Islamic teachings, and indeed how the Islamic State jihadis explain and justify everything they do by reference to Islamic texts and teachings — for example, the beheader says that Kassig fought against the Muslims as a U.S. soldier in Iraq, which means he is an “American Crusader” and can be lawfully put to death, despite his subsequent conversion to Islam.

To continue to ignore the Islamic State’s stated motives and goals, and to pretend that they are other than what they are, is nothing short of suicidal. This ideology has to be confronted, and it is held by more people than just the members of the Islamic State.

“US army veteran Peter Kassig ‘murdered by Isil,'” by Andrew Marszal, Rob Crilly and Louisa Loveluck, the Telegraph, November 16, 2014:

Islamic State fighters have issued a new video apparently showing the murder of US hostage Peter Kassig and threatening “slaughter” on Western streets.

The 15-minute long grisly video shows the horrific beheading a group of Syrian military prisoners and then the decapitated head of Mr Kassig at the feet of a masked man.

The man, who appears to be the same militant known as Jihadi John who has appeared in other beheading videos, says: “This is Peter Edward Kassig, a US citizen.”

He also denounces David Cameron as a puppet of the United States president:

He says: “To Obama, the dog of Rome. Today we are slaughtering the soldiers of Bashar and tomorrow we will be slaughtering your soldiers and with Allah’s permission we will break this final and last crusade and the Islamic State will soon, like your puppet David Cameron said, begin to slaughter your people on your streets.”

The chilling video, titled ‘Although the disbelievers dislike it’, shows the brutal murders of around 16 Syrian soldiers in graphic detail.

Mr Kassig’s death would be the fifth beheading of a Westerner apparently carried out by violent extremists of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil).

Mr Kassig, 26, served in the American military and was deployed to Iraq in 2007 with the US Army Rangers, developing a deep interest in the Middle East.

After an honourable discharge, he moved to Beirut and set up a medical charity, which specialised in delivering aid to refugee camps.

He was taken hostage in October last year during a trip to deliver food and medical supplies to Deir Ezzour in eastern Syria

Like other families, his parents initially observed a media silence.

But when video emerged last month showing Mr Kassig wearing an orange jumpsuit in the Isil murder video of Alan Henning, a British taxi driver, they launched a very public campaign to persuade his captors to release him.

Ed and Paula Kassig, from Indianapolis, issued their own video message describing how their son had converted to Islam – taking the name Abdul Rahman Kassig – and that other captives had told them his faith brought him comfort.

Mrs Kassig said: “Our hearts ache for you to be granted your freedom so that we can hug you again and then set you free to continue the life you have chosen, the life of service to those in gravest [need].”

They also set up a Twitter account to send messages to his captors.

“I am an old woman, and Abdul Rahman is my only child. My husband and I are on our own, with no help from the government,” wrote Mrs Kassig. “We would like to talk to you. How can we reach you?”

Their campaign included releasing a letter sent by their son, describing his terrifying ordeal.

“I am obviously pretty scared to die but the hardest part is not knowing, wondering, hoping, and wondering if I should even hope at all,” he wrote. “If I do die, I figure that at least you and I can seek refuge and comfort in knowing that I went out as a result of trying to alleviate suffering and helping those in need.”

They also joined worshippers at a mosque in the to pray for his release….

If you play with snakes you will end up getting bit. Islam is a deadly snake. No matter how much you coddle it, appease it, dress it up with a pretty bow and call it a “religion of peace” it is an evil and ruthless ideology that only fears drastic measures… and the truth.

This is exactly why it will never end.
They keep saying we are evil, and we must die.
We keep saying they are evil and they must die.
      Where is the solution?

We judge without understanding or even trying to see the first thing about each others religion/culture/thinking.

As for Peter, I admire his courage and passion to go there and try to do good indiscriminately to anyone. He said it: ‘Either put up, or shut up!’. I truly believe that that is the clearest sign of someone’s honest love.

Rest in peace Brother, God bless you in your next life!

I can’t bear to watch this, as I already have nightmares about jihadists, but could you put up a transcript of the commentary please? I presume you are aware that lots of people in the UK at least think all these videos are fake, and it’s hard to persuade them otherwise … They think it’s propaganda to justify warfare.

Watching it would inject the evil of islam into your soul. I also refuse to watch the atrocities. The daily suffering that islam causes (hijab, fear, hate) is bad enough for normal people.

I also would appreciate a transcript without images.

To illustrate what sense and rationality is up against: Erdogan in a speech has claimed that Muslims discovered America in 1178. It has been claimed before, but no doubt this ignorant assertion will bring it up again: “look ..see! Erdogan too is saying it!”

The videos serve a purpose. Some people need the truth beat into their heads sometimes figurtively sometimes literally. Some never learn and choose to remain victims their whole lives. My hope is these savages overplay their hand and their evil wakes more good people up. The world needs to speak as one and simply say one world enough, and act.

Seeing these videos doesn’t make me fear them it makes me hate them that much more, their propaganda will backfire. What they don’t realize is our side has a bunch of predators too, but these guys like hunting other predators not innocents and stuff like this just p*sses them off more. I’m sure at this point even your average suburanite with his latte is getting p*ssed. My hope is the world eventually get’s p*ssed off enough at seeing innocent people butchered and says you know what f*ck this it’s time to end this.

Actually, others as well. We have a particular problem with such deeply held suspicion of the government linked to many things but including scandals about MPs expenses, and cover ups of child abuse. So, some of the people who just don’t believe anything that the government says now, are not those who fall into the usual groups, but also others who have been consistently betrayed by the establishment. There are many who will more readily believe that this is all a conspiracy, because they have been repeatedly lied to and ignored. There is a very complex situation here right now. This can’t just be dismissed as apathy in all cases.

UK is a democracy, just as the US is. People in these democracies can, if they want to, refuse to re-elect those who lied to them and ignored them. The fact that they re-elect the same old liars makes it clear that they are apathetic and don’t care !

On top of that they (people) have neither the desire nor idea of how to separate the wheat from the chaff. [As you mentioned they readily believe any conspiracy theory.] And when it comes to Islam, they are cowards too!

These apathetic morons dripping with cowardice are the majority in our countries and what is worse is that their votes have the same weight as whatever few smart and informed people there are out there. As you can tell I don’t have much faith in working with this majority for the security of our countries and that of our future generations.

We need to figure out a way so we don’t suffer the consequences of the actions of such majority.

Good point. People in the Counter-Jihad tend to see the problem in simplistic terms.

One over-simplification divides Western society into The People and The Elites, with the unexamined assumption/implication that The People get the problem of Islam while The Elites don’t (and, more often than not, are assumed to be dastardly enemies of The People).

Another over-simplification closely related to the above one is the one that insists that Westerners who don’t get the problem are all “Leftists”.

          And so forth.

      • Paula Boddington says

        Nov 16, 2014 at 9:08 am

I posted a reply to this before but it’s not up yet, not sure if it’s in a queue but here goes again.
It is too simplistic to say that it’s just Muslims and lefties who don’t trust the UK government and who suspect the provenance of these beheading videos. There are immense feelings of betrayal by the government, stemming from issues such as the fiddling of MPs’ expenses, (which was done by members of all parties), and more recently and more seriously, widespread and plausible allegations of child abuse and cover ups of abuse by those in power, including in Westminster (and again, names mentioned have included those of all 3 major parties). See, e.g., the story on the front page today of the Sunday people where a victim alleges that he was a witness to child murder by an MP. Whether or not these allegations are true, there are plenty of other allegations around as well and too many suspiciously ‘missing’ dossiers. So, there are many here who feel so betrayed and lied to by politicians from all over the political spectrum, that they are more likely to believe that there is a conspiracy than believe what a politician tells them – any politician. So, this is nothing to do with whether you are left or right wing.
Next, in relation to UK involvement in the middle east, millions of people are angry that we went to war with Iraq on a false claim that Saddam Hussein had those non-existent weapons of destruction. Note, it’s right and left wing alike who felt they were lied to by Tony Blair. People did not trust Blair, they do not trust Cameron. They are of course, from opposing political parties. So, given that the level of trust in politicians IN GENERAL is very very low, a lot of people hence also believe that at least some of the reports of Islamic State atrocities are also a conspiracy. This includes people who are no fans of Islam, and includes people who are either themselves the victims of institutional abuse, or their supporters – of whatever political belief, and those who otherwise feel betrayed by those in power. Added to this, the videos don’t stay up long, and do look a bit staged .. e.g., some people think it is implausible because of the way in which the executioner uses a fairly small knife and the people seem to be kneeling there so quietly. I myself have wondered if Islamic State are clever enough to purposely make the videos look a bit staged precisely to encourage division over their truthfulness. So, many people are sceptical and wonder if these are ‘fake’ videos put around as a way of encouraging an entry into another war. Note, that a lot of these people are not simply politically apathetic, they may be involved in a range of causes, and so they do not either ‘apathetically’ believe what they feel the media and the government are telling them.

          Nov 16, 2014 at 12:55 pm

You could be describing America with what you just wrote as well. We all feel betrayed in the west by our governments, and the truth is we were. The globalist agenda and monied interests have co-opted the political process. I’m not talking about some group of Dr. Evil’s in a cave somewhere, just a wide variety of different interests and factions that have various agendas that all align. There is no monolithic group, there never is since nothing created by man is monolithic but a lot of powerful and wealthy people’s agendas are similar. A clear cut example of this is the globalist agenda of destroying nation states and creating trading blocs, also their goal of degrading western wages and making the world similar to China or worse.

Then you have the fabian socialists who want a Totalitarian Orwellian government and the way to achieve this is to get rid of the original electorate that would never go along with the agenda. So you import hordes of desperate poor uneducated people who are easy to lie to and manipulate. This goes along with the globalist Elysium agenda. There are other interests and factions at play as well, but the whole political process of the western world has been co-opted the people play second fiddle to those interests who influence those who hold office.

        • Darren says

          Nov 16, 2014 at 1:01 pm

Another fact of history and human nature is the majority of people are easy to lie to and easy to manipulate. They are like playdough in the people in power’s hands to mold however they wish. This has always been true, even idealistic movements are usually then co-opted by the sociopaths and the idealistic movement is simply a tool used to manipulate the masses to achieve a specific purpose for those in power.

The goal is usually to enrich or empower them. That’s not to say it doesn’t benefit the peasants depending on the situation, but there is always the reason given to the masses and the real reason behind the action. The people who call themselves aware or pay attention are always the minority. The vast majority of humanity is content with bread and circuses and always will be. The best we can do is get people who are good at manipulating the masses and manipulate them in a way that benefits us.

If you must bring up trust of government as an issue than we should not leave out the many politicians and officials who wipe Islam’s butt on a daily basis including those who willfully ignored pleas for help from underage British girls used as sex slaves all in accordance with Islam’s filthy Qur’an for fear that they might appear as being too judgmental against Muslim men’s sense of piggy entitlement.

          …………………………..

There are two more extremely important factors besides the ones you list, Paula.

Firstly, civilized Westerners often don’t believe that *anyone* is really capable of such savagery.

Those warning about Nazi Germany in the years before WWII had exactly the same problem—many people simply could not believe that this was happening.

And this is exacerbated these days, when the most brutal things most people see are movies involving zombies or aliens.

And then there’s the second point, which may be even more salient: peaceful Westerners *don’t want* this to be true. Some take this natural response by civilized people further, and lapse into denial.

Yes, many people think this is a psy-ops ala 604th Camouflage brigades only now 2.0. Part of the reason is because all our “allies’ in the region appear to be funding these people for geo-strategic reasons. They originally got wealthy because they overran our ammunition depots and the bank that just happened to have 500 million of our tax dollars in it. Most of their equipment is American. and their uniforms are American.

alot like the incubator baby lies of Gulf War One. and other woppers that our government has told us. Like Game of Thrones Hollywood heads- on -a -stick. Why fight them when you can scare the crap out of them. Very few people trusts the military or government anymore. Too many past lies and now few can discern truth from fact. Maybe that is part of the plan? and also seems to be preparing the populace. Hardening them up for something?

One thing is for sure. the populace of the West is completely on it’s own. There is no one minding our store and are een beginning to question if our governments even like us. We are orphans.

This reminds me of the lead up to WW2. The world didn’t want to accept it, the thought that another great war was going to happen was too terrible to think about. So by denying reality all it did was allow Hitler to grow stronger and attack at a time of his choosing. The smart strategy would be to attack while your enemy is weak and you have the overwhelming advantage not wait for that enemy to grow strong and attack when they see an advantage.

We are neutralized due to various factors chief among them being political correctness. The enemy has made things even worse by weaponizing political correctness. Yes anything and everything can be used as a weapon, if one gets results from using it as such who can argue that this isn’t an effective weapon? Another glaring weakness are the economies of the west. The thing that allows the U.S to project the most power our reserve currency is also our biggest weakness. Due to the government being desperate to playcate the masses and their wealthy donors they won’t stop printing.

The terrible truth is the government and politicians who only care about election cycles and don’t think in decades but election cycles promised the peasants too much. They can’t deliver on their promises. Due to not wanting to lose an election they will keep kicking the can hoping it falls on someone else. So the problems never get addressed and they keep getting worse. The minority of us see the reality and want to deal with it now and try fixing it, but we are the small minority. Eventually we are going to face reality anyway by denying it you just make the issues worse.

“We can deny reality, but we can’t deny the consequences of denying reality.”

Besides explicitly discrediting the IS ideology, a warped system that nevertheless inspires people, it would help if we could proudly expound our own vision of what society should be, a task that should be simple for those living in Western democracies. Yet, we not only shrink from criticizing Islamic supremacism, but too many of our leaders lack faith in our own achievements.
For all his faults, at least Bush extolled democracy. That was a start.

Jewdog, well said, I agree with you. And I also start with being in favor of democracy and it’s values and merits. And we can be proud of more positive beliefs and loyalties.

I am especially sick and tired of Muslims calling us “disbelievers”. In my mind, Muslims are disbelievers in what we believe and stand for; Democracy, human rights, progress, science. After all, they seem to be stuck in 7th century-ideology and therefore it is they that lack belief ….. in so many advanced and positive concepts.

President Bush betrayed Christ and sold his soul the same way that Judas did. After 911 he posed with Muslim Imams and repeatedly said that Islam is a religion of peace. He then spent billions of dollars and shed the blood of thousands of American men and women to establish two Islamic shariah based governments; one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He made no provision for the protection of Christians in Iraq while he was President after the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, and they were slaughtered, even before Obama came into office . He betrayed the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and he betrayed his country. There is a very hot place in hell for Bush and Obama and for both of the Clintons (I’m bi-partisan in my views). Bush and David Cameron and Pope Francis are all going to have a nice chitchat interfaith dialogue with Muslims in the 9th circle of DANTE’S INFERNO.

But Bush or his advisers had the ideal notion that you could implement western style democracy in tribal societies. Simply opening a history book or doing even basic research on the culture you are dealing with would lead most rational people to come to the conclusion that such an idea is sheer lunacy. Naive idealists get people killed or themselves without exception. Also I wonder if that was the true motive I doubt it. Remember there is the message they give the masses and the real reason they keep behind closes doors. Just like how politicians present their face to the public in order to manipulate them to gain power and wealth, and their private face.

Everyone knows that all Muslims are guilty of the crime of blasphemy against God.

Therefore doesn’t that give us the absolute right to chase them down with an angry mob and toss them into a furnace like Muslims did in Pakistan to a man and his pregnant wife? Shouldn’t we all want to behave more like Muslims so they will offer us their approval?
Of course it does, and they would be exceedingly grateful to us for mirroring their example. They would merely be returning the complement.
Surely all the coexist liberals will line up and see our point and understand that we are not responsible or to be held accountable in any way while in the frenzy of expressing our dutiful passion against blasphemy and come to defend our right not to be judged, for after all that would be bigotry on their part as liberals have a clear moral obligation to look the other way.

Once we realize that Allah is just a political stage-prop to their horror show then their motivation becomes clearer.
When converts are no longer needed, they will find themselves tied to a ritual beheading post in an honor-killing pit hollering “What the % #@6!% is going on Muslim friends.”

I don’t know a great deal about the parting of the ways because I only started supporting the EDL around the time Tommy Robinson left and because I am not privy to anything that goes on among the people who run it. Anyway, as I understand it TR left saying he couldn’t get rid of the far right elements in EDL and RS dissociated himself from them because of that. I think the Jewish Defence League did the same which also influenced RS.

Since that time, as I believe, EDL have got rid of the far right groups and have cleaned up their act in other ways – no drinking on demos, better marshalling etc. I heard from someone recently that the police now are ok with them and acknowledge that the trouble comes from the UAF (a hard left group of which, bizarrely, David Cameron is a patron).

I suggested that maybe it was time for RS to look again at EDL but he says he has no intention of doing so. It appears to me that he was badly hurt by the episode and is still taking it personally but perhaps there’s more to it than that. That’s all I can tell you.

Thanks, I heard this referenced before but just wanted more detail on the incident. I guess I understand Mr Spencer’s point of view since when he is on TV and other media the first tactic our enemies use is to try to demonize him and paint him with some broad brush, maintaining a clear image for him is important. Since they can’t win with facts they always resort to the tried and true method destroying the image. As Bruce Lee said destroy the image destroy the man, though you can’t destroy that man’s ideas. Sadly though this tactic is quite successful.

That depends. Obviously, the English word “behead” is not in the Koran (and no other English words are “in” the Koran). When we ask Google Translate (more powerful than Allah) for an Arabic translation of “decapitation” we get this:

        ضرب العنق

        — which transliterates as “drb al’enq”.

The “drb” part means “to hit, to strike” (the same root, by the way, for how men are recommended (by Allah His Old Self, in Koran 4:34) to treat their women about whom they “suspect rebellion”, but I digress…); the “al enq” means “the neck”.

That in fact is what is in the text of Koran 8:12 which ECAW quoted above — one just has to know a little about the serpentine and beguilingly-shimmering-oases-like permutations of Arabic verbal conjugations and substantive declensions:

        Thus:

The transliterated Arabic text for that key phrase — that most horrifically pertinent phrase in our context here — “then strike off their necks” — is faidriboo fawqa al-aAAnaqi [sometimes rendered “ala-enaq”] where we can see that the “naq” part is the “enq” (= the neck) in the definition of “decapitation”, while the “idrib” part in the center of the word “faidriboo” is the “drb” of that same definition (the “fa” part means “then” and the permutation of the verb is in the imperative, command form — Allah commanding the Faithful to strike off the necks of the enemy).

So behead is indeed in the Koran; and once we apply this more nuanced search, we’d likely find a few other places as well.

The Islamic State (the caliphate) is asserting Islamic supremacism in the most horrific way that they can. Furthermore, the ummah can see which way the wind is blowing now and will join and/or financially support the Islamic state.

The West’s denial of the reality now afoot in the Middle East is surreal. People don’t give a damn! What’s wrong with people today? Maybe if there is a beheading on Capitol Hill or on the campus of a prominent university here in the United States, people will finally pay attention. One beheading won’t wake people up. A series of them will, though. By then, what will it take to push back?

        Mac,
        Thank you!

I read JW almost every day, but don’t often have time to comment.

I also find that I’m running out of words that express how furious I am at the dhimmis. I mean dhimmis with whom I work!

It’s a wonder that I still have a job because I’m always informing them of the reality of the Islamic threat. My standard question now is “What are you doing about this?”

If I get a shrug in response or hear the words “I don’t want to think about it,” I dig in. One day, after the beheading of Colleen Hufford, I followed my supervisor all the way out to the parking lot and railed her over and over again with “What are you waiting for? For one of your own children [most in college] to get his head sawed off on the college campus? For your daughter to be raped by Muslim rape gangs? Then you’ll have to think about the Islamic threat. Don’t come crying to me, either. I’ve been warning you for years.”

I actually made some progress with that woman. Now she is bringing up the topic of Islam day after day.

Human sacrifices were common in all nations of antiquity, gradually it was replaced by animal sacrifice and both ended or should have ended when the Son of God was sacrificed, this being the basis of Christian faith. Subsequently the animal sacrifices of Covenant Judaism ended with the destruction of the Temple in 70 AD. Both continue to exist only in islam, animal sacrifices (ritual slaughter of animals in a the name of allah) and human sacrifices that is performed almost daily for the sake of allah.

For those who read the article after the video was delete some remarks.

I only viewed a view passages and the start of the “cutting scene” and than I could not bear watching it any longer.

The video was high definition, the editing professionally and partly EXACTLY like a trailer to some gory movie. There were alternating “scenes”, black outs where you only could hear the frightened respiration, slow motion of gushing blood.

THAT was the the most scary and wicked.

    Why ?

Because if you like watching that kind of hollywood movies where violence abounds and you don’t bother because it is just an act and entertainment after all and guaranteed that not even animals where harmed in the making, then your are condition psychologically to look forward to any second of the “forthcoming” movie.

However, that kind of excitement mixes with there realization that these are real people and the suffering is real.

Wicked as hell and the reason why I could not watch longer than a few seconds.

I do hope that the IS and every government supporting them, any politician in the West the supports them out of utter incompetence will pay for that kind of depravations .

    Obama first and foremost.

    Christians want to convert you.

Muslims want to kill you and they usually do.

    • Jack Diamond says

      Nov 16, 2014 at 12:37 pm

They only require that you say the words, not that you believe them in your heart. This is also the reason they do not consider it ever “forced” conversion,
they are making you say something, not believe in it. It is sad and pathetic if he did indeed find “comfort” in the religion that was about to murder him but one needn’t assume his conversion was any more sincere than his murderers expected it to be. It is enough to humiliate the kaffir by just having them repeat the shahada. In any case, it didn’t buy him his life.

To further explain the concept of “un” forced conversion in Islam and what would constitute a forced conversion in Islam–

“Muhammad sent Khalid Ibn al_walid to the tribe of the children of Harith and told him ‘Call them to accept Islam before you fight with them.. if they refuse, fight them’. They entered Islam BY FORCE. He brought them to Muhammad. ‘Had you not accepted Islam I would have cast your heads under your feet.’ (Al Road Al Anf p.4 pp217-18)

      {Either they accept Islam or they would have been beheaded.}

When Abu Sufyan of Mecca is brought to Muhammad he is told to confess “There is no God but the only God..and I (Muhammad) am His Apostle” Abu Sufyan answered ‘By God O Muhammad of this there is doubt in my soul.” ‘Woe to you! Accept Islam and testify that Muhammad is the Apostle of God before your neck is cut off by the sword.’ Thus he professed his faith of Islam and became a Muslim.

(the late) Dr. Muhammad al-Buti in “The Jurisprudence of Muhammad’s Biography” repeats this story. He feels some people will protest faith should not be imposed by threats of death! “What is required of an infidel or one who confuses other gods with God, is to have his tongue surrender to the religion of God and to subdue himself to the prophethood of Muhammad. But his heartfelt faith is not required at the beginning. It will come later.”

And this is exactly why American schoolchildren should not be reciting the shahada as part of their world studies courses.

I know she loved her son, but this is getting disgusting, this bowing and scraping to these inhuman monsters by the captives and by their relatives. They dishonor all of the many brave POW’s who were held captive during WWII, Korea, Vietnam and other wars who were tortured, endured hardship and humiliation and kept their faith and didn’t capitulate.
Kassig’s mother dishonored the many martyrs over the centuries to the bloody sword of Islam, and even in the present day women of faith and virtue like Miriam Ibrahim and Asia Bibi who stood for their faith and did not capitulate, but remained strong under persecution.

Must digress; I was wrong, Kassig’s mother didn’t actually quote from the Koran. However, Kassig’s grandfather was one of the co – founders of “Christians for Peace and Justice in the Middle East”, who state on their website that they oppose Israel’s “cruel and illegal military occupation of captured Palestinian territories”. http://cpjme-indy.org/who-we-are
      That says a lot.
I understand Peter Kassig was a very caring person and loved animals. May God help his parents in this time of grief. If I was ever in his shoes and my mother was still alive, I pray to God that she would never have dressed up in the attire of the enemy and begged for my release. I pray to God my faith would hold out in captivity, and that I would die a noble death, giving glory to my Lord and Savior. I pray I would not die a whining, whimpering dhimmi false convert to the bloody religion of Muhammad simply to appease my captors. I pray to God I could die with honor, faithful to Christ, and die like a man.

More barbarity from the death cult of savagery: islam.

Islamic State releases video showing beheading of US hostage Kassig
    …………………………….

More bloodletting from these savage barbarians.

The video is already gone, but I can imagine its savagery.

    More:

He says: “To Obama, the dog of Rome…
    …………………………….

“Rome” is not “Rome” per se—it is “Rum”, the major Western impediment to the spread of Islam. In the days of the “Prophet”, this was the Eastern Roman Empire, or Byzantium, which *was* destroyed by Islam, over a torturous period of almost a thousand years.

Today it is the free West—*especially* the United States.

    More:

After an honourable discharge, he moved to Beirut and set up a medical charity, which specialised in delivering aid to refugee camps.

He was taken hostage in October last year during a trip to deliver food and medical supplies to Deir Ezzour in eastern Syria
    …………………………….

In other words, this latest victim was not so much a “Crusader” as another *aid worker*. ISIS has slaughtered aid workers before.

    More:

Ed and Paula Kassig, from Indianapolis, issued their own video message describing how their son had converted to Islam – taking the name Abdul Rahman Kassig – and that other captives had told them his faith brought him comfort.
    …………………………….

A vain hope that his conversion would sway his captors? Worse, Stockholm Syndrome? Impossible to tell.

In any case, these savage Jihadists have gone ahead and murdered converts before. More than ever here, they just want to humiliate their victims before butchering them.

    More:

They also set up a Twitter account to send messages to his captors.

“I am an old woman, and Abdul Rahman is my only child. My husband and I are on our own, with no help from the government,” wrote Mrs Kassig. “We would like to talk to you. How can we reach you?”
    …………………………….

Did Peter Kassig’s mother really accept her son as “Abdul Rahman”? Impossible to know. Note, also, the line about “no help from the government”, which appears to be an indictment of the US—as though they have abandoned her, but the thugs of ISIS have not.

My heart bleeds for this woman and her husband and family, and I understand her doing *anything* that she thinks might possibly help her son survive—and yet at the same time this cringing dhimmitude just further emboldens these scum.

    More:

They also joined worshippers at a mosque in the to pray for his release….
    …………………………….

And the appeasement never ends…this will just further empower “Jihadi John” and his foul coreligionists.

Note, also, that these humiliating Mosque events *only* happen when the victim converts to Islam. You would *never* find Muslims praying for him if they thought he were still a Christian, Jew, or agnostic.

I had another strategy we should drop porn mags and bottles of alcohol all over muslim lands and tell them to lighten the f*ck up. We can send out dudeist missionaries with some good chronic and jams to passify the barbarians. After you smoke some good ganja and listen to some good sounds it might turn around even the most diehard goat f*cker. This is sarcasm obviously whether it is funny or not I leave that up to you to decide.

I have been looking for the Reason in Islamic Law why they can still kill him after he converts to Islam. When pbuh finally took Mecca over he let many of the Meccains live who had fought against him over the past 20 years or so.

So what is the justification in Islamic law for not letting him live?

Thanks to any who can help me figure this out.

    Your friend in infidelity, Ayatrollah

    • Know Thy Enemy says

      Nov 16, 2014 at 4:57 pm

Ayatrollah, there are a couple of reasons for this-

      1) According to Islamic law the caliph has the right to decide whatever he wants to do with the captives. Even after the captive converts to Islam, the caliph still has that right!

      2) When someone converts while in the captivity of Muslims, the Muslims tend to see the convert more as a coward rather than a Muslim. This IMO is a natural response by gangmembers to whom loyalty is extremely important. If you know someone who got scared and gave up his faith/principles/loyalty, you have good reason to believe that he will give up his current loyalty too if threatened. Why would you respect such a person!
To the Muslim kidnappers, if the captive’s conversion is genuine, Allah will reward him on judgement day. But they will treat him the way they see him- a coward who gave up his loyalty. Killing a coward, even if he is Muslim, is no big deal to jihadis.

      3) The Muslim belief is that Allah will forgive all sins/crimes/mistakes, except one– Shirk. One of the definitions of Shirk is ‘intentionally causing harm to Allah or his religion’. Allah will know that the Muslim committed Shirk if the Muslim even as much as thinks about causing harm to Islam. However, as long as the Muslim’s intentions are pure he is safe from the charge of Shirk.
So what does this have to do with hurting a Muslim captive? Answer: If the captive was genuinely a Muslim, the jihadis don’t see it as a big mistake to hurt/kill him. The Muslim belief is that no one is perfect, that everyone makes mistakes. (Shirk is the only *big* *real* mistake; one that a Muslim should really fear committing). What matters is that his (jihadi) intentions were pure, that he was not thinking of causing loss to Allah or his religion. The jihadi saw the captive as a coward and hurt him. If it was a mistake, Allah will forgive him (jihadi).

All these things work together to shape the Muslim’s mentality.

There was another person who was treated the same way by jihadis even though he converted to Islam. He got out alive though. Link to his short story- http://www.frontpagemag.com/2014/dgreenfield/what-does-it-take-for-an-american-hostage-to-lose-his-illusions-about-islam/

      Hope this helped.

Guys, please do not call yourself “infidel” or “kafir” etc. You never had any fidelity to this fiction called Allah, so how can you be a “infidel”??
Similarly, you are covering up any truth, so how can you be a “kafir”?? (Kafir means someone who covers up the truth despite knowing that it is the truth). Whatever you believe to be true, do you cover it up?? If no, then how can you be a “kafir”??

After all the guy, if he converted whilst in captivity, most likely converted under duress in the hope that it would save his life.

    From news article at http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-11-16/islamic-state-claims-to-have-beheaded-aid-worker-peter-kassig/5895446

“We offer our prayers and condolences to the parents and family of Abdul-Rahman Kassig, also known to us as Peter,” Mr Obama said in a statement. “Abdul-Rahman was taken from us in an act of pure evil by a terrorist group that the world rightly associates with inhumanity.”

‘British prime minister David Cameron said he was “horrified by the cold blooded murder of Abdul-Rahman Kassig”.

‘While in captivity, he converted to Islam and took the name Abdul-Rahman.’

How dare Obama and Cameron call the poor guy by the Islamofascist name he was FORCED TO TAKE? One can only hope those two scumbags are kidnapped, forced to take ridiculous names at knife-point, and remembered forever in history by their new slave names.

I imagine Mr. Kassig felt some guilt about being the spearpoint of a horrible war that was started by that idiot Bush. I’ve read where at least over a 100k Iraq’s have died in our misguided adventure there. The failure of both Bush and Obama have led to a Nazi like regime, ISIS. We promised the world after WW2, never again.
It was our govt. action, and inaction that has led to the rise of ISIS and to the horrible slaughter we can all see on video. I saw the pictures of Kassig’s death. I’ll not piss on his memory or his grave by calling him stupid. Americans at a much higher pay grade than him were responsible for the situation that led to his death. ISIS is, of course, is the monster most responsible. But the politically correct lunacy of Obama cannot be forgiven. Nor can the Islamic ignorance of Bush be forgiven, either.
I am a Christian and a sinner and I pray for Paul Kassig’s soul. And I pray for all those innocents caught up in this horrific war.
    God bless them all.
    Amen.

I’m dismayed at the number of people who claim Christianity and then rejoice in someone’s unjust murder. I cannot fathom that Jesus, our true and perfect example, would behave in this way. Did he not heal the very centurion who was arresting him? All I know from this event is sadness for Peter and his family and pity for those misguided souls who have been duped by evil Islamic doctrine.

Peter set such a good example in his life in that he helped people. Who was it that said, “Love your enemies”? Would you condemn Him? Many did when man judged God and sentenced Him to death. There are reports that thousands of Muslims convert to Christianity, and when they do so a much higher authority pardons their sins than anyone posting on this blog. Is not the salvation of lost souls our greatest hope?

I would suspect that Peter never converted in his heart, but that he and his family were pursuing the only apparent intelligent strategy to win his freedom and get him home alive. I’m sure that God will judge him and his family rightly and that not one of us is sinless enough to be worthy of judging their souls.

Do not fill you hearts with hate–that is the way of Mohammed! I do believe we have the right of self-defense, as individuals, a nation, a religion, and a culture. I am not a pacifist. But, I do not rejoice in the sin of man, friend or enemy. I do my best to make people aware of the deception that Islam represents, but as important is to help them find the way to life!
