Jihad Watch

Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic supremacist groups connect their jihad to Ferguson riots

Nov 25, 2014 10:38 am By Robert Spencer

FergusonPalestineIn this photo (thanks to Kay), Leftist demonstrators relate the strife in Ferguson to the “Palestinian” jihad. And Pamela Geller has a great deal of information on how Islamic jihadists and supremacists, including the Hamas-linked terror organization CAIR, have tried to co-opt the Ferguson riots as part of their own jihad. Most noteworthy is the active presence in Ferguson of “Palestinian” jihad activist Bassem Masri.

The connection between Ferguson and “Palestine” (and the global jihad in general) is clear: both the Islamic supremacists and the Ferguson rioters think that the American system is corrupt and must be brought down. The Islamic supremacist presence in Ferguson is thus akin to jihad recruitment in prisons: both attempt to capitalize upon resentment toward America and American authority, and channel it into jihad.

This chaos in Ferguson is so shameful. American blacks should be more appreciative of the privileges and rights they have in contrast to what they would face were they still in Africa or places like Haiti. Fortunately, all blacks do not go along with this narcissistic whining.
The opportunistic activity of jihad groups is excellent, since it tends to discredit the destructive tantrum in Ferguson. Maybe some of those rioters would like to meet Boko Haram as a reality check.
But go ahead, keep rioting and alahu-akbar’ing – it will help defeat the Democrats in 2016.

jewdog- as I read your commentary you are messed up. Africans were taken in chains out of their homelands. Tribes were thrown together with no respect to family or language differences. To say they are better off today than what exist is Africa or Haiti begs the point that if these slaves were allowed to live out their lives normally maybe Africa would not be in the chaotic state it has been. All of which past and present could be laid at the feet of colonialism. You’re lucky I’m not a communist cause you could be verbally crucified for such a reactionary statement. Jihadist are of the same negative outlook and collective mentality as communist and fascists, i.e. nazism. Jihadist are taking the opportunity to spread their hatredness and that’s all. They don’t care one iota for Black people or any other people except for their particular brand of Islam. Similar to working with “useful idiots”. Jew? dog! How could you use such a reactionary statement?

JewDog isn’t really messed up, JimJames. But his comment about how good blacks have it in America, compared to Africa and Haiti, was shocking to me as well.
JewDog, what could possibly prompt you to throw down such an enormity?
By saying this, you debased yourself. There is no equivalence between Black Americans, who must enjoy ALL our Constitutional rights, and those whining Palestinians who are never satiated by all they are given, and all that they take, in their host country, Israel.
Sure, if they don’t like it there, let them try their luck in the neighboring arab cesspools! That always holds true.
But Black Americans are NOT in a host country: they deserve all the rights that you and I enjoy. Your racist remarks bring shame on you.

          Nov 25, 2014 at 6:44 pm

I don’t exactly see a rush by black Americans to emigrate to Africa, which they are free to do. Instead, Africans are flocking here. That’s because they know damn well that they have it good here, so let’s see some appreciation for our superior system and its fair justice system from the African-American community.
I am from the North, a region of the country that sacrificed over 300 thousand soldiers to free the slaves during the Civil War. I resent it when some blacks try to call all whites racists or insinuate that America is unfair.
Since I posted my comment I notice that hooligans have looted dozens of business in Ferguson and destroyed vehicles. Where is law enforcement? That town looks like a Paris suburb that the Muslims have trashed. Looters should be shot on sight.

A black commentator by the name of Allen Key says exactly the same thing, that blacks in America today are much better off than blacks in African countries…and this is surely true, there is no doubt about it. The fact that they had very bad times in times of slavery is also true, but today there is black president in America, and his father was African. I am sure he is much better off here than he would have been in Kenia.

When law enforcement personnel follow their training and procedures it is ‘racist’. When Israel observes the 1922 League of Nations recognition of a ‘Jewish homeland’, it is ‘racist’. For the cultural Marxists, ‘racist’ is another way of saying ‘I don’t have a valid argument, but I want you to stop talking.’

I am going to try pasting a paragraph from Pam Geller’s website below – – – Here is a the quote by Dawud Walid, a CAIR – Michigan spokesperson :

“The reality is that this country, in law enforcement, be it local, state or federal law enforcement, people with guns have always seen black men and black people as threats,” Dawud Walid, executive director of CAIR’s Michigan Chapter, told the some 100 protest organizers on the call, made on the five-year anniversary of Abdullah’s death and which was monitored by CSP.

    See more at: http://pamelageller.com/2014/11/ferguson-verdict-no-indictment-muslim-groups-seek-to-co-opt-ferguson-violent-protsts.html/#sthash.96pxjLpO.dpuf

SO, OBVIOUSLY, CAIR IS VERY HEAVILY INVOLVED IN EXPLOITING THIS. AND YOU WILL NOT NOT NOT GET THAT INFO FROM MAINSTREAM MEDIA.

Thus, there will likely be days, weeks, or even months of rioting ahead ( which MSM cutely calls “protesting” ). I urge you to take time during the Thanksgiving holiday stretch to email your local / state / federal elected officials about the CAIR connection to Ferguson.

SEND THE EMAIL — AFTER — THE HOLIDAY . . . NO ONE WILL READ IT DURING THE HOLIDAY PERIOD.

Not only in person but in infidel forums: mohammedans in masks.

    • JMB says

      Nov 26, 2014 at 6:20 am

Should Arabs be asked to leave North America. Yes if they are not prepared to fit into our society and absolutely yes if they intend to destroy our society.
As for Blacks, yes, they should be offered generous repatriation incentives to emigrate to Liberia. That natation was established following the Civil War with the express purpose of resettling slaves. Blacks could live in that country free from any perceived or real oppression from whites.

  8. Jay Boo says

    Nov 25, 2014 at 11:28 am

When the outside Muslim protest groups spin this message it discredits the notion that the other original protestors were trying to declare since they all get tied together. Whatever the truth is hard to know considering all the new media whores competing against each other for ratings.

  9. Jay Boo says

    “Occupation is a Crime”

I have to agree with that first sentence — It is long past the time that Muslim occupiers need to get the hell out of Jerusalem.
Muslims have absolutely no right to step even one foot into Jerusalem.

    • JMB says

      Nov 26, 2014 at 4:40 am

Very well said Jay Boo. The whole debate on the status of Jerusalem seems to forget that it has been the great and established Jewish city for at least 3000 years. This was long before Islam was even thought of.

And furthermore, JMB, Israel has always had the vision of welcoming all other religions for worship in Jerusalem. It would’ve been the Great Kumbaya City among all cities in the free world.
But of course the fascist muzzies want it all to themselves, don’t they? Islamic supremacists will stop only when they’ve been killed, and their children reprogrammed.

They also have a misplaced belief that Islam is some ‘indigenous’ religion to African people, ignoring it was brought with the sword and was the original launching of a massive African slave trade and culture that continues to this day. So the two groups (I don’t want to say all black people as a group, but the demographic of black people that are rioting in ferguson) both love to worship and perpetuate victimhood and want everyone to give them something for nothing because they’re entitled to it in their minds. What that ‘something’ is that will magically lift their communities and race out of poverty and violence, and the fact they want outsiders to somehow make this change, remains pretty elusive. Blacks need to get like the Jews and have some kind of Zionism if they truly feel they are not safe as a minority; go make your own majority, your own rules, your own country. They actually have an entire continent in which they could integrate or form some kind of society unlike the Jews too. But, then there’s that entitlement and expectation that the majority around them is going to change and make life better for them. It’s immature and childish and gets everyone no where. Change starts within, coming together only to riot is not being a community. They don’t riot murder within their own race or community, they don’t riot the drug culture, the dead beat dad culture, nothing. And that’s why I have a very hard time taking a lot of American blacks seriously when they make these claims that we’re living basically in the 60s and so on. Racism exists, no doubt, but you can’t use it as an excuse to cover up your own failures constantly in every arena of life. It’s never ‘what can I do to change my life and those like me’, it’s ‘what can everyone else do while I sit here a poor helpless victim’.

The overriding sense of entitlement and will to violence by so many blacks not only bring dishonor to the entire race, but their warped enjoyment of free speech, and their predilection for toppling Truth on its head, ring a solid dejà vu for those educated in the ways of muslims worldwide.

The one redeeming quality that many muslims and blacks share is their ability to sing and the captivating tremolos in their voices.

What can be said? They are right. But they are also stupid.
This is exactly the same tactic the Muslim Brotherhood used to bring down Mubarak, Gaddafi, etc. in the so-called Arab Spring. They did succeed, but their success didn’t last long. They’ve already lost Egypt, Tunisia and soon, Lybia.
Yes, the American system is corrupt and needs to go. Yes, the Muslim Brotherhood thugs will take advantage of the chaos. But, unlike the Arab Spring, the American Spring won’t be that easy to achieve; Americans have weapons, and they’re gonna use those weapons.
Bring down the U.S. government now while it’s still time to do it peaceably. They’ve done it in Egypt, and they’ve done it without having to fire one single shot.

I respect Salah on other matters—he has a good web site—but this is suicidal madness.

What rot. Right now, Muslims make up less than *one percent* of the population here.

During the 1920s and 1930s, alert and prescient people worked to wake the free West up to the Fascist threat—they didn’t work to overthrow their own governments.

The West *did* eventually wake up—and was in a position to actually act, which they certainly would not have been if they had overthrown their democracies.

Far more likely in practical fact, of course, is that they would have all wound up in jail, with their very important message discredited.

The situation is not exactly analogous, of course—but it is a lot closer than that of Egypt, which as part of Dar-al-Islam faced the wretched choice of either a Mubarak-redux strongman or the even worse prospect of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Egypt and Tunisia are still oppressive Jew and Christian hating states, and they are the comparative “success”stories. Libya is not only almost as bad as the Islamic State, stretches of it now *are* the Islamic State. The idea that Libya is improving seems fanciful at best.

I don’t believe on some deep level that Salah realizes that anything better than this is even possible. As Voegelinian notes, this is likely due to his having spent his whole life in the unfree morass of Dar-al-Islam, where the best you can hope for is that the insecurity and chaos will be slightly blunted.

It should be made clear on no matter how many militant Muslims are hijacking the topic of the Ferguson for the use of their own agenda. It still stands that even if and that is IF the court decision was wrong, riots and all the vandalism that go along with it is terrible and awful way to behave. For to handle or react with a great violent “temper Tantrum” is to engage in a protest the decision wrong way. Americans have every right to peaceful protest. Nevertheless violent and lawless actions are very wrong. Furthermore,. I do practice what I preach. For example no matter how sure I am that Islam is evil I still use legal and peaceful ways to confront the Islam with all its many evils. I never have or will, for example, in any way whatsoever vandalize a mosque or even burn a Koran. For there are rights way to handle thing and wrong ways to handle things.

My read was the vote for Morsi was to bring about economic change not Sharia Law. Sis i was “demonstrated” into leadership as a majority of Egyptian Muslims plus Coptic Christians fought against the Muslim Brotherhood in the streets. This is a long civil strife underway. But the voting was for economic improvement and that you just not going to get with an Islamist group. Like Communist their wealth is stolen or established (read OIL) not developed. On their own Islamists will self-destruct like communism does because they cannot develop new monies. They both are aggressive and aim for control and power not the welfare of their people nor for a politically liberal society.

Father Botros knows that Egypt would be even worse off under the Muslim Brotherhood. But Egypt—and her Coptic population—is no better off than they were under Mubarak. They still face institutionalized oppression and random violence without recourse.

Right now. the Copts aren’t facing out-and-out genocide, so they are quite understandably relieved, and I am relieved with them. If I lived in Egypt, I would support al-Sisi, as well.

But only someone who has lived nowhere but the Muslim world and expects no better could possibly consider this “liberation”—let alone want to see this authoritarian oppression for the free world.

Sisi is not benevolent (any more than any Islamic Sultan has been in history). He believes in Islamic Jihad and admires Muhammad. These are facts, and they should damn him in the eyes of the Counter-Jihad. We may decide to use him cleverly; but that cannot be done if we simultaneously have adopted the naive notion that he’s somehow a decent Muslim.

In the CNN interview, Basem Masri stressed the fact, according to some witnesses, that Michael Brown’s hands were up. Listening to more detailed news reports on NPR indicates other witnesses say Brown’s hands were clenched in fists as he lunged into the police car, leaving some of his blood inside the police car.
Reports say Officer Wilson fired 12 shots, which is certainly not simply “shooting to apprehend,” as Masri points out.
Sounds to me like Wilson panicked, in the face of aggressive behavior by Brown.
I, too, would vote for no indictment.
But we certainly need a nation-wide dialog about what the role of police is in society. Racism in the US may be less obvious than it was 50-60 years ago, but it still exists.
In fact, racism in the US camouflages economic discrimination. It diverts attention from the fact that capitalism needs a certain amount of unemployment and under-employment to function. Blacks preferentially get the short straw here. They are the modern socio-economic “scapegoats.”
This socio-economic fact gives an Achilles Heel opening for jihadists.
What is the solution? Let’s hear from sociologists & economists on this.

Not going to comment on Capitalism much because that has not existed in the US since the 1840s. After and during the Civil War there was so much corruption every where that government intervention in the economy was on every level State, local and Federal. Once the laws of economy are tampered with, no matter the rational, Capitalism is not any longer.
One subject seemingly passed over in all the talking about Ferguson the culture of violence prevalent in the Black community. Certainly among the poorer sections. Mixed up in thisasI remember my experience as a High School teacher was hypertension, desire for quick and easy money and an extreme competitive attitude. What I have read from the news reports and listening to the policeman’s account nothing was surprising to me. I saw Black teens get in police faces in the 1980s New York City. They got beat up and there were protests about over reaction. But nobody I ever came in contact would grap for a cops gun especially if he was wearing it. If you were so in his face and he was surrounded or being over whelmed well nobody I ever knew would put themselves in that position. I had met some pretty tough street fighters
in my teens. Both Black and White. They still had lines they wouldn’t cross. But the talk referred to in the cops statement is not in any way surprising in content. Reaching into the car?.. totally out of bounds. Just got carried away with himself. But the policeman was over whelmed and overpowered. This is my take.

Islamic supremacist groups connect their jihad to Ferguson riots
    ………………………………

    We’ve seen this before.

As soon as the verdict of the grand jury came down not to indict, I heard helicopters and police sirens here in Oakland.

The rioters set bonfires in major intersections, smashed out windows in businesses, set trash cans on fire, and shut down the I-580 freeway.

Most of the organizing was done by Communist groups like International Answer.

The chants included “Guilty as Hell!” and—no surprise—“Missouri, Palestine, Justice Now!”

The evil spirit uses any and all imperfections of men/women to cause humans to fight each other, foment trouble, whether it is under the guise of * racism* or *bigotry* or prejudice against others for some perceived slight or discrimination.

Those people who did not * accept* the grand jury’s decision and choose to riot are being used by the devil. They may believe they are in control of their lives, but they are being manipulated. And those advocating for islam and shariah to take over in the city and across the country are not just exploiting the circumstances, but are fighting to gain control for none other than satan. Absolutely Farmer Mike. Very similar to ultra-left party demonstrations. They have their “political line”, within them they have their leadership and cadre. Agitation is their operating word. Probably building as broad a coalition among groups as they can but have a political core or central committee that is always in charge and will never, at least mentally, submit to “bourgeois” or the present government authority. They can compromise as long as it is on their terms and their basic demands of the moment are met. Until they are ready for “the revolution”. (Change of ruling elite.)
Under what I have studied in last years I apply here a teaching which is “the world is as you see it”. This understood to be by us, radical Islamic group sees the world in terms of their ideology which is based in the Koran. The National Guard had already been called out, and the police force had been beefed up. Why the late night timing of the announcement?
Rather than waiting til mid-day, when calmer heads would more likely prevail.
I see this, the late night timing of the announcement of the Grand Jury’s decision, as part of a deliberate “orchestration” or “stage-managing” of rioting.

My recollection is that the decision was announced just a few minutes after 8 pm (either Eastern or Central time).

An explanation I heard connected the timing to fewer drivers being on roads around Ferguson — instead being back home after work. Makes sense to me . .

Now there are cell phones so connecting can be in the moment 24/7. Otherwise you had “runners” and use of public phone booths. In Manhattan you could have between office buildings open lines and people going up and down to the street relaying info and changing chants. Cumbersome and tiring. I’m sure that some of the left leadership today learned their basic skill set in the anti-Vietnam war days. But many other lessons since. There is another aspect of Islamic jihadism I have a question about, which some of you may have knowledge about.
My recent readings about Muslim cultures, indicates that pedophilia is very, very common, actually more endemic than in the West.
This is important to note because victims of pedophilia–from what I’ve read & understand–develop an intense distrust & hatred of others [understandably]. And they also at the same time develop an intense self-loathing and suicidal wish [again, understandably]. In fact, becoming a suicide bomber may be extra appealing because it finally gives the previously molested victim, power & control, while also ending the molested one’s own suffering.
So, if the above is true, these poor molested kids grow up to be ready & abundant fodder as suicide bombers!! Maybe these molested kids grow up to become ISIS recruits?!
I float this out there to see if anyone else sees this. And, if true, what should be our response?
We need to hear from ex-Muslims, if they dare speak out.

Actually, Bettina, I seem to recall that there are at least rumours that sexual abuse of both girls and boys- and at a very young age – is *rife* inside the Ummah, both within the dar al Islam and in the Ummah colonies of the West.

One *apostate* from Islam, Hannah Shah, in the UK, in her book “The Imam’s Daughter”, stated that from age 6 – age SIX – until her teen years when she managed to flee, she was regularly raped…**by her own father**. Why? To ‘punish’ her for insubordination (she had, as a young child, tried to stop him beating her mother).

And further references Phyllis Chesler – “While it is obvious that this abuse, as with the abuse of young boys, is connected to the unavailability of women for men in the culture at large, Chesler notes that the widespread sexual abuse of female children in the Muslim world “is one of the main ways of traumatizing and shaming girls into obedience [this is how Hannah Shah’s father set out to brutalise her into submission – dda] and rendering them less capable of rebellion or resistance when they grow up.”- (Chesler, The Death of Feminism, p.145.

I have another observation about racism/unemployment made earlier, which I hope others can expand upon–or demolish–that I made a few days ago, about “Racism in the US being camouflage for under-employment & unemployment & poverty, which is actually necessary in a capitalist system. Blacks in America are the preferred socioeconomicaly selected ‘scapegoats’ in our country. Thus, racism/unemployment/poverty is the Achilles Heel of our capitalist society, which these jihadists have perceptively targeted.” Actually, it doesn’t take much looking to see this.
In decades past, I have certainly seen a number of scholarly articles on this aspect, but I can’t reference them now. I think it might well be worthwhile to have a pretty thorough discussion of this aspect. And what a solution might be.

This is about Ferguson I think we can see how America’s black ghettoes emerged. Pretty obviously from the very dynamics of the free market capitalist system. Jim James on this blog mentioned he wasn’t going to comment on capitalism in the US, because it hasn’t existed since the 1840s or so. There’s a lot of truth in that observation, as small scale capitalism began to be eclipsed by large scale, & usually corrupt, industrial capitalism at that time. This was clear to slave-holder John C. Calhoun, who argued that slave-holders treated their slaves more “kindly” than northern industrialists!
We can see this in the popular European literature of the mid nineteenth century. See Dickens’ “Oliver Twist,” John Gay’s “Beggars’ Opera,” Puccini’s “La Boheme,” Victor Hugo’s “Les Miserables,”& Bizet’s “Carmen.” We might add Mark Twain’s “Huckleberry Finn.” Almost all of these pieces are about displaced persons, displaced not simply by the Napoleonic wars, but also by the Industrial Revolution as guided by large capitalists. Whatever socio-economic ferment there was in the US, there was much more in Europe & the UK, with wa-ay too many folk made homeless beggars, or worse. On the continent, Marx invented the the term “lumpenproletariat” to describe these folk, a term he defined in his “Eighteenth Brumaire,” in these words:
“Alongside decayed roués with dubious means of subsistence and of dubious origin, alongside ruined and adventurous offshoots of the bourgeoisie, were vagabonds, discharged soldiers, discharged jailbirds, escaped galley slaves, swindlers, mountebanks, lazzaroni, pickpockets, tricksters, gamblers, maquereaux [pimps], brothel keepers, porters, literati, organ grinders, ragpickers, knife grinders, tinkers, beggars — in short, the whole indefinite, disintegrated mass, thrown hither and thither, which the French call la bohème.”
The ghettoes of America are places for such displaced persons, a “holding pen” for as-yet unwanted & un-needed workers.
That’s what Ferguson is today, unfortunately. A holding pen for un-needed & un-wanted folk.
We need to not mock the unfortunate residents of these ghettoes. Rather, we need to ask ourselves what is the best way to address this unfortunate circumstance Certainly NOT by Islamic jihadism. Yet it we will probably keep on getting variations of Islamic jihadism, or destructive riots, until we address & resolve this endemic socio-enonomic problem.

As an old farmer & new student of Permaculture, I see that Masanobu Fukuoka
made an interesting observation about the Middle East, esp the Arab lands:
that there was an extreme “lack of trees.” The Middle East & North Africa used to be forested,
& supplied timber for the ships of several empires around the Mediterranean. The empires turned forests into deserts.
    So what, you may ask?
Fukuoka thinks that by using the techniques of permaculture, the Middle East could be made to bloom again. Certainly Israel has proven that it can be made to bloom, within Israel. In Fukuoka’s view, a prosperous people are a happy people, thus less likely to go to war, or commit “jihad.”
In terms of “empowering” a people who have been systematically disempowered by their very own society & religion, through pedophilia & misogyny, it could be an appropriate, even if only a partial, or beginning, antidote to jihadism.
With increased prosperity, could then also come greater “sanity” & peaceful neighborliness. Yes, the problem is more complicated than that. Because of the oppressive business of religion. And the scars of pedophilia. And misogyny.
Nevertheless, permaculturist Geoff Lawton has been spending time in Jordan, demonstrating the virtues of permaculture for several years now. It’s a slow process, but it is better than fighting, or waiting for jihadists.
Of course, permaculturists in Jordan must at the same time be on the alert for jihadist attacks. There is no credibility in having UN troops stand guard. Look at Bosnia! Look at Rwanda!
Probably will have to ask the Israeli Army to do the protecting. And that might mean, when there is another Middle East War, that Israel SHALL NOT SURRENDER ANY LAND IT CONQUERS!
But, then, in medical as well as in police work, sometimes your “patients” or “adversaries” have to be temporarily restrained, or occupied, til they are healed, or till they “come to their senses.”
Yeah, I know, occupying Gaza did not seem to do much good. Maybe it was not long enough.
    What do others think?

Mike- I am not a communist nor even a materialist at this point. Industrial Capitalism is, for me, another word for Socialism. Capitalism is free market- no government interference in the economy. Now if people think some interference is necessary not debating this here. Only pointing to this- once there is interference the market forces are tampered with and you have something else- not open market dynamics. What I remember from my studies that the people who were demanding government support were the big factory owners who needed monies to retool or introduce new machinery into their factories for mainly the railroads in the 1850s and into the Civil War.. Otherwise I am not so clear that capitalism would have allowed all of those “TRUSTS” from the 1880s to have formed. Today there is an anti-entrepreneurial attitude which undermines any real recovery for the American economy. By the way Islam is the perfect religion for a “serfdom” society. Islam offers ready made totalitarian teachings using the one ingredient communism lacks- a “god”.
